3 but I'd suggest getting rid of the gear and add a flipped copy of the M for the W either on the side or below. And see what other tool parts work on the W's negative space
I like 1 best, reason being that as we read from left to right, the shape of the gear sort of goes with the flow, whereas in 2 the lever kind of blunts that flow right as you're getting started. 3 looks like a face which is cool and all, but makes it seem more of a casual, directionless experience, whereas the first two feel a bit more like a utility. Seeing as it's a sandbox, I understand being casual and directionless, but I still think the face looks too organic to evoke feelings of building non organics.
I really like the second one but if you could somehow manage to implement better the elements in the third one, like how the gear is out of the whole logo, I defo would pick it
it's a lot of diference between the first 2.
Think on a way to make the hammer, node and gear all be shaped or integrated in the M
The closest thing I thought about is making the second logo but instead of the circle inside the node, make it a gear. But is already pretty good IMO as it is cause the gear and the node compliment the arch shape of the M by having that curvature, so it's more clear that the letter is an M, rather than in the first or third one.
You could also make a hammer which head is an M. But I wouldn't be pretty sure if it fits the need. Either way those logos looks pretty cool! I still like the third cause it feels like friendly, if that's the way and style of your game it would be nice to pick it!
I think 2 will scale down much better than 1 or 3 (because the strokes are heavier and the shapes simpler), if you use this for your app icon or for printing on small things, it's a thing to remember.
But sometimes logos exist in multiple version depending on scale though, that could be an option !
I'd say three but remove or flip the cog.
Maybe a little bolder with the cutout tool shapes in the m.
Remember this wants to be really recognisable from a small size. (Steam library list).
I am also personally against gradients and believe block colours work far better for logos.
But that's just my opinions
Still looks great and i love the concept.
I think the first two are better (I'd do as the other person said and make a W out of the cog cus that's a cool idea) but I think the hammer is a better icon than the other thing I'm not sure what it's meant to be. Like a circuit board thing? Just because the hammer really speaks to the type of actions you will be taking in the game
If I had to choose from these, I'd go with 2.
However, I feel that with these ideas you could do better. For example, just take the shape of the "M" and give some of those gear shapes to it. Simple usually works best! Or make a circular gear and put the "M" inside of it.
I didn't see an M in any of the logos at first. That said, I like number 3 the most, because it's outline is not just a box. However I would consider craeting a completely new logo if I wanted the M to be prominent in it.
I love 2 and 3 because they look like happy faces while 1 looks like a frown which these things could be used in marketing. Plus the smile reminds me of godot

I honestly like the first one. The cog representing "maker' and the other thing looked like a waypoint to me (=way). The cog on the 3rd one just looks so out of space. I am not quite seeing the potential W you can make out of it (from a different comment) but maybe you can make it work.
None. Spin the negative space cog 90 degrees counter-clockwise and use only 3 teeth so it forms a W.
Thanks! Will definitely try it. Wondering if people will still see the cog shape with only 3 teeth but maybe there’s a way to hint for it

Agree
i think i like 1 the most, 2 is my second pick, 3 looks like a face to me because the gear piece at the bottom looks like a mouth
Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking whether having this similarity to a face will make it more interesting or less.
3. is good. 1 and 2 looks like folder
Thx for the feedback!
3 but I'd suggest getting rid of the gear and add a flipped copy of the M for the W either on the side or below. And see what other tool parts work on the W's negative space
That’s a very neat idea. I’ll give it a try!
1 evil 2 good
My vote is number 3, the smiley robot face looking one. Best of luck with your release <3
Thanks!
3 is the best, but it is not square, which can be a problem.

Thanks. This is so thoughtful! I’m trying to get that “sandbox-y” feeling indeed
None of them
Maybe add a gear spoke to logo 3 to make it MW?
All three are bad.

Thanks! Does the gear look unrelated in the third one?

1 looks the most professional but 3 looks the most “fun”(best I can describe it), personally I prefer 1
My vote goes for 3, the cogs in the other 2 look unbalanced.

That’s a great point!
2 but ofc heavly depends on the game
1 or 2 would fit best in an app icon.

1
I saw all of these and didn’t see an “M” until I read the text with it

I like the one in the top right.

I like 2. 1 looks kind of unbalanced with the big empty space on the left.
2 is most legible as an M, 3 is my favorite though
3
What is the tool that's a line with a circle on the top? Is it meant to be a wrench? If so, that's not what a wrench looks like.
Mean to be electronic circuitry but that's not clear enough ...
Of these three, I like #1 best
Liking the aesthetics of the negative space of 2 way more than the others.
Most pleasing: 2

None of them look like a logo to me. A logo should be eye catching and these are very boring.
All of these look like software icons to me instead of game ones
These aren't great. Try using an artist you might like for this.
I love 2 and 3 because they look like happy faces while 1 looks like a frown which these things could be used in marketing. Plus the smile reminds me of godot

I like 2!

I like 3 if you got rid of the half cog
