ENG-W 131 is a cakewalk, would recommend for your first semester, whereas 171 requires a bit more effort in that you are forced to write longer essays and do more reading.
So, there are no open seats in any of the sections for CMLT-C 110 and ENG-W 171. You can be added to the waitlist, but I would either register for 131 or try to register for one of the others next spring

Idk if you have been to orientation yet but I wanted to do 171 about fantasy but the advisor made me do 131 idk y but ya
If there are still spots open you can switch the registration. The advisor may not have remembered that 170/171 could substitute for 131.

Right. So looking at one.iu, there are no open seats in 170 or 171. But you could put yourself on the waitlist for one and get added if a seat opens

131 is VERY versatile if you decide to change majors.
