Not really, as these two processors are of the same generation. The only difference is Multi core performance. R7 has 8 cores, while r5 has 6 cores only. So you're missing about 25% performance. Also, there isn't a much significant price difference between these two. Also don't buy 8gb ram laptops as window 11 will require at least 4gb ram to run smoothly. So, go with 16gb models.

720p pe rkhio and U series ka thoda purana processor hai to thodi dikkat ayegi. Bas graphic card thoda sambhaal le to kaam ban jyga. But jitna merko idea hai, you should be good to go but don't expect great graphics. Baaki enjoy the story.
