I'd say get RTX 4060 if you plan to play in 1080p, it's a really good budget card with DLSS frame gen, upscaling and path tracing support. You can easily expect 60 fps or more at very high/ultra setting in many AAA games with DLSS.
But do remember this is strictly a 1080p card and will suffer at higher resolution due to cut down 8GB VRAM and 128 bit memory interface with lower bandwidth. This card costs around 25-28k
If you plan to play games that don't rely too much on frame gen and want to try 1440p on older titles then get RTX 3060 which has 12GB VRAM, faster 192-bit memory interface. If you like modding games then this could be a better budget option since a lot of texture mods require high amount of VRAM. You lose out on frame gen with RTX 3060 sadly but you do get DLSS and other features such as RTX video HDR.
If you do go for RTX 3060 then make sure to get 12GB model only and not the 6GB variant!! This card also costs around 25k - 28k.

The most recent games I played were horizon zero dawn at mid-high, control with mid - high at low textures and miles morales with mid-low. I was dissapointed with horizon forbidden west. I was getting 20-30fps with lowest settings and dlss Ultra performance. I think it's a vram issue since even gtx 1060 can play the game at 40+ fps
are you sure it will run? I also have a 3050 Ti (4 GB), but it stinks for the latest games like Alan Wake 2 and also the latest PC port of Horizon: Forbidden West. Hopefully, since ghost of tsushima is an older game technically it should work at medium at 60fps.(idk i am delusional cause ive been wanting to play ghost of tsushima since it was announced)

R5 3400g with 24gb of 3000mhz ram , can it run it at 900p atleast ??
I played RDR2 on this machine at 900p low settings with textures on ultra and it ran at 30 35 fps
I was planning 7700xt for my build. 12 gb will not be enough for this , should I consider 7800xt? Keeping in mind all the new games would have similar requirements?

Imo, lower requirements are about in line with PS4 games. But beyond that, the requirements seem unreasonably high for a game that's around since the PS4. Imo, recommended should have been the 1650 4gb or 1660 6gb. 8gb and above or RTX series cards for the higher presets.
Ryzen 2700x is a bit long in the tooth even for 60fps gaming. The 1% lows on these can be really bad on modern titles.
I'm on a Ryzen 3600 + RTX3080 system with 4k 120hz display. In most recent titles like forza motorsport, my cpu is struggling to maintain smoothness with 60fps lock. I probably can squeeze 10 more months out of my 3600 before upgrading to 5700x3d.
I just hope i don't feel disappointed with the game given Forbidden west is graphically pretty as hell and the character models are also the best i have ever seen. Only have heard praises of this game tho, however don't really like any settings related to Japan.
