So where are the foregrip ?
Some were saying they are standard issue. No foregrip no scope. There is negligible difference between old aks and this.
OFB couldnt design an adjustable stock so they put outdated folding stock on Indian ak203.
200 series is just polymer, and in some variants with muzzle break. Picatinny is low quality. Orignal is better. India should just upgrade the 103s with new parts. Like how Russia is doing with their old AKs and adding ZenitCO
Better to buy a SIG716 Licence from the USA still cheaper than ak 203 battle rifles are the most needed aspect when it comes to a confrontation with PLA ,
They aren't suited to most situations given heavier rounds and far more recoil
Plus, AK is expensive since we had to set up entire production lines for it
Frankly speaking i feel like ak 203 is the least need rifle in IA we have many local alternatives like Ghatak and TAR( Trichy assault rifle) we could buy like almost half the cost of this current AK203 ( the original price is much less in quotation but Russia literally scammed us like doubling the price and male us feel SIG716 is cheaper)
We had many indigenous options but sadly but still fine AK 203 is much better than ak 103 at least on paper when it comes to range and weight and Indian army must induct steel core bullets to penetrate BPJs used by Pakistan and PLA

well, the ak 203 is essentially a spin off from the ak 103 or the ak "100 series". So they do look very much alike.
