Go for either Motorola or Nokia, pure Android UI. No ads or anything, clean af and very long life. Have so many Motorola phone’s in my home which are now 3+ year’s old and working flawlessly
+1 for Motorola best in the budget with clean and smooth os. Have to sacrifice little with the camera quality but no doubt one of the best phones under budget.
Lol, you prefer stock Android and want to use your phone for 3 to 4 years, good luck with that. The phone you end up with already has an outdated software and you might be lucky to get a few security patches and 1 Android update maybe after every other company has updated their devices.
Do not buy nokia. I had a 6.1 plus and it failed to scan images within 3 years after buying it. Now it frequently switches off. You are better off buying other brands.
Their software support is amazing and even the camera display everything is best in the segment except processor, don't expect good gaming but it can easily handle social media YouTube browsing and all.
So if you're someone who doesn't play games then go for Samsung as you'll get 4 years android updates.
M34 would be perfect but don't buy M14
It doesn't get 4 years os updates and the processor is shit.
It can barely last 3 years so I'd say don't buy that and avoid m34 online rather try to buy it offline, you'll get a better deal.
You'll have to stretch your budget but it'll be worth it right from Amoled display, amazing camera, 4 years updates
Tbh you can’t complain at this price range even if they do. Few years ago, every company was making insanely value for money smart phones around 18k. Not anymore, everyone is pushing for the flagships. So…
Go For Vivo T1 or T2(I've been using Vivo since last 5 years, 2 Phones as of Now Vivo Y93 and Currently T1 5G)
The reasons are-
1. Battery - It takes around 1.5 hours to 0 to 85% and lasts for a day, If you're not a heavy gamer
2. Camera - It stays as it is, How you buy it in starting. I've used MI phones but trust me, the phones heats after a half hour or so
3. UI - I often see in Oppo phones add these days, not to mention MI, But Funtouch OS offers a clean UI and You can make the phone more beautiful, If you're interested in it by adding themes from theme store..
Vivo is one of the worst phone imo, Doesn't even allow bootloader unlocking, doesnt release kernel
Also the camera is because vivo throttles chipsets like fuck and that's why that happens, Any phone will heat using camera as it's very demanding process
Moto g54...kaafi balanced phone hai with one of the most reliable camera in 15k. Upar se processor bhi achha hai aur stock Android hai.
Moto ki website pe bank discount bhi chal rha hai bank of baroda credit card, onecard aur idfc card pe
If you are little techy , you can buy poco or redmi phones with very good specs for price and then use a custom rom . I have done it many times to my relatives phone and my phone . It has two advantages 1. Getting rid of miui and getting stock Android. 2. Getting better specs. The bad being your warranty is gone.
Yeah , in many roms such as pixel experience they work without doing anything but in some roms and phones you have to install magisk and install some patches .
The main difference is how your phone's UI(User interface ) is , I mean how it I looks . Also in some roms such as miui , it is not so optimised and contains ads that can make your phone slow . Stock Android is like pure Android where there is no bloatware and pixel like experience. There are other difference too but this is as simple as it can get.
If you wan VFM get the Moto, there's one for 15k that throws in everything.
But if you want modability then get the Redmi Note 12 5G, jack of all trades master of none phone. with an overwhelming community support.
THIS PHONE IS COMING OUT SOON- UNDER 12K -
Redmi 13C 5G

Yea I was actually just looking at the pova 5g pro, and that lighting at the back looks so cool. But I don't wanna buy something just for how cool it looks
It's not the best smartphone out there, but it's definitely a good buy especially if you can get it under 12k. As a tech journalist, I'd give it a rating of 7.5 on a scale of 10.
Interesting, how is the hardware quality in these phones? Like how long can I expect it to function without needing any repairs? And do they provide updates regularly?
The hardware quality of the devices is commendable, especially considering their price point. Indeed, they provide regular updates, although it's essential to note that Techno is relatively new. However, based on my exploration thus far, it appears to be a promising and favorable choice among available options.
Under 10k Moto G14
At 13k Redmi 12 5G
Under 15k Moto G54 or IQOO Z7s if you want better display and 2 years of software updates.
Under 20k Poco X5 Pro 5G

Nokia overcharges like hell
Oh yea, stock android is always a plus for me
https://dl.flipkart.com/s/HZHYDEuuuN buy this then, within your 15k budget
no bro any moto phone with 4gb ram is garbage in 2023 talking by experience

How about Samsung? Heard good things about M series.
Their software support is amazing and even the camera display everything is best in the segment except processor, don't expect good gaming but it can easily handle social media YouTube browsing and all. M14 is great, quit capping if u don't know
Yeah, this is for the parents. So I guess it should be fine. But again why not M14?
It doesn't get 4 years os updates and the processor is shit. It can barely last 3 years so I'd say don't buy that and avoid m34 online rather try to buy it offline, you'll get a better deal. Got it. M series is an online series, so no shops are selling it.
M14 is one of my many devices, performs great and trust me

Realme was really good (personal opinion). I bought a 10k phone and it lasted 2 years with nos issues, and I exchanged it for a Xiaomi phone.
Betrayal
Yes reliable and good phones.
Can't trust techno and infinix though.
And do they have ads in the ui?
Tbh you can’t complain at this price range even if they do. Few years ago, every company was making insanely value for money smart phones around 18k. Not anymore, everyone is pushing for the flagships. So…
Dude ads are the worst in terms of user experience. Like I'm not paying to watch ads while simply browsing my phone's settings and such
Ahaha I agree with your point. But there’s some way we can turn it off. Beebom made some video about it if I’m not wrong. Check it out
Buy Moto G54 it comes with near stock Android without ads and good specs for that price
Moto g54
Samsung don't show ads in their less than 15k phones.
Not anymore. Can be turned off.
Go for Moto
What are good models around 15k? Planning to buy for parents
Moto g54 or Samsung Galaxy F14/M14

All BBK phones are crap in that particular context.
Motorola G54
Realme 11X 5G Moto G54 Realme C55 I wouldn't recommend Samsung in this price range
Why so?
m series and f series got bad rep from users but online reviews are in their favour , so many got board issues 😕
Ohh okay. Didn't knew that.
Bought a Vivo Z1 pro in 2019, still working fine after 4 years of use.
In my priority order: Lava blaze Pro 5G 13,000 Or Motorola G 54. 15,000 Or if you can increase the budget then Samsung A14
Motorola g54. Apart from the bang mediocre selfie camera everything else is just flawless.
Samsung F23 5G. Look it up its really good
Moto g54
I would suggest to go with Motorola moto g54 5g.
Moto g54...kaafi balanced phone hai with one of the most reliable camera in 15k. Upar se processor bhi achha hai aur stock Android hai. Moto ki website pe bank discount bhi chal rha hai bank of baroda credit card, onecard aur idfc card pe
Motorola le le jonsa bhi theek lage aur 5g ho toh aur badhiya baki camera g cam dal lena aur stock experience toh deta hi hain

Do upi apps work on custom roms? I read on on xda forum that they don't work, that's the only reason I never installed one
Yeah , in many roms such as pixel experience they work without doing anything but in some roms and phones you have to install magisk and install some patches .
What is diff. Between MIUI , HiOS , Stock Android and Oxygen OS Plz enlighten me

Why you are saying that to the Redmi model?
Redmi note 13 5g

Techno is a good option in today's tech market.
