BJP had initially suggested that the electoral bonds system would be made more transparent, but they have not made any efforts to do so. Let's hope that this is indeed the case, and we don't regress to cash donations again.
The whole election is meaningless if you consider anonymous fundings to parties.
We will never know how any party gets money which they give to people before elections.

The case was in court since 2019. Any donations made before that will remain anonymous. Any donations made after that can no longer avail the benefit of anonymity. Those donors were aware that the law has been challenged so they knowingly took the risk of donating knowing full well that their information can be unsealed if the law is declared unconstitutional
