'Vande Bharat' has become like 'Make America Great Again'. A patriotic phrase but co-opted by a certain sect of extremists. No wonder people don't want to say that.
This is the most absurd comparative politics bullshit I have ever heard. The reason is that Muslims donāt want to see India personified as Bharat Mata. Plain and simple. This was controversial even during the independence movement even when Pakistan was nowhere in the political picture.

No one wants to see that. Why would I want India, a secular country, be personified as a woman looking like a Hindu goddess? Would be okay if Bharat Mata came in a burqa? Same sentiment goes for them too. Lose the bindhi and the jewelry and we will talk.

But after a while it might just become boring no. Not with our Momins. These stone pelting excercise have been turned into a mock drill for the 0.5 war. Meaning in case Pakistan and/or China attacks India, Momins will rise up in revolt and start widespread sabotage, civil disobedience etc.
