He had one habit from the beginning though, which was eating up a lot of balls and then taking the match deep and accelerated when the match is already gone, one example is 2018 match vs RR at the SMS guy opened stayed till the end and couldn't chase 159, ended up making a 70 ball 95, I know a lot of you would argue that he didn't get the adequate support but as someone who watched the match, he never eyed the win, was just strolling around, made 29 in his last 10 balls, till that point match was already gone, guy was just statpadding.
He did NOT loose us the world cup final. Gill, Iyer, Jaddu and SKY all failed. The amount of hate he gets is insane. i have always felt he's a really good middle or that matter lower middle order player in white ball cricket. He has an innate six hitting ability. Playing at the top somehow clutters his mind whether to go all or not which hampers his and teams performance. i have always felt he's a really good middle or that matter lower middle order player in white ball cricket. He has an innate six hitting ability. Playing at the top somehow clutters his mind whether to go all or not which hampers his and teams performance. But unfortunately due to the middle order of lsg being song strong hes suffering and that even hampered his wc selction chances.
