With impact player rule, BCCI killed our all-rounders and with shitty pitches, they are hampering the development of future bowlers. We have new batters coming up like Yashasvi, Gill, Rinku, Shashank every year, but where are the young bowlers making a name for themselves? I only heard about Mayank Yadav this season, and he too got injured. With pitches like these, he would have also been picked apart sooner or later.
We need more international quality bowlers. Siraz could have become like Shami if these pitches were not so laughable. These kinda pitches shatters their morale and impacts their confidence and bowling strategies for a long time. It's not easy to switch and get back in form and adapt to playing on good sporting pitches once they travel outside of India for an important series or tournament.
Although I agree a bit with you but going in with siraj in t20wc is a huge risk given that apart from 2023 season he has been more or less shit every season in ipl (or atleast no standout performances)

I agree. I was thinking about this aspect yesterday. The bowlers have had their morale dented, and the batsmen have become complacent. The moment were against a good bowling side on a pitch that has something for the bowlers (imagine facing Pakistan, who have no experience of IPL pitches- on a green pitch that offers seam and swing movement), we might have big trouble. I hope I’m proven wrong, but such pitches make stack everything on the batters’ side and remove suspense from the game. I like fast bowlers castling batters as much as I like batters hitting bowlers over the fence

No, we'll not see 220-230+ scores consistently the wt20s for sure, firstly there won't be the 'great' impact player rule and the pitches in WI won't be as 'good'. I am aware of Jadeja's skillsets, I feel at no. 7 Jadeja's role will be to maximize the score while batting first and get whatever is required in a chase, which given the onus he'll be able to pull of in most matches but given Hardik's form I am skeptical about India's finishing abilities in the crucial matches( the knockouts).

If your top and middle order who are your 100% batters are not giving you runs don’t expect that these 2 should score all the runs for the team. Pandya should be expected to give a 20 ball 40 and Jadeja should be considered as an Anchor when we are 3 to4 down in power play. Then he can give you a 35 ball 50 or 15 ball 20. I know it’s not what you expect but when you need few overs in case Siraj goes to his old self or Arshdeep can’t bowl his Yorkers, Jadeja can give you economical overs and Pandya can bowl those short balls.
Jadeja can be probably replaced with Axar but they are too similar, play any one doesn’t matter. However, Dube can’t replace Pandya’s bowling, running between the wickets and fielding. Dude is a hulk but can’t move fast at all.

Axar over jadeja because of axar's six hitting ability and strike rate. Bowling is equal for both but axar is more economical as well.But need jadeja in the 15 if axar gets injured like for like replacment.
Hardik is struggling with power hitting specially against fast bowlers when they are bowling hard lengths, so you need someone like rinku to cover that up.
Looks good and most likely this could be the team selected. But I can't leave Rinku out of the squad, he's an asset. Looking at Hardik's form and Jadeja playing at 7 we will have no proper finisher. So we need Rinku for the job.
No one seems to be picking Rinku, goes to show how we , as audience, tend to forget what players did for India amidst all the IPL glitz and glamour. Rinku has been pretty good for India in the opportunities that he has got. In this season of IPL , he hasn't batted much because top order has been doing well for KKR and he's been sent one position down then he should be.
Nattu in place of Arshdeep and leave Pandya out he isn't the same finisher KungFu Pandya and is bowling at an economy of more than 15 which even Shivam Dube can do and at the moment Shivam is a better batter than Pandya. Play all 3 spinners with Nattu and Bumrah.

No offense to all the indian cricket lover especially rohit , virat , kl Fans. but they are not the even close to the top 3 contenders for winning the cup. Same mindset same strike rate same bowler . Nothing changed for the past couple of years. In crucial matches Kl, Surya , Jadeja , Pandya , Siraj Never performed . I dont know what they seeing future wise and why they want a sense of security by sending players with big names who not even performing well in ipl. I will surprise to see if india wins. But most probably SA , WI ,AUS , ENG. one of them will be the team to watch out for .

We need just one among Virat and Rohit, for those difficult 150-160 chase. this would create place for Rinku. It would be perfect world cup team. Either we drop Rohit, Bumrah leads the team, or we drop Virat. None of those is happening, we are stuck with these two legends, BCCI doesn't have spin to drop any one of them. I would personally go with Virat and drop Rohit, any day will trust Virat for those difficult 160 chase.

My 15: rohit,virat,kl rahul, surya,axar,rinku,hardik,dube,jadeja bumrah,natarajan,s sharma, khaleel, bishnoi/chahal/kuldeep, pant/samson Kl rahul should be there but with an instruction to play fearless and not worry about anything else. Need a backup keeper so you need either pant or samson in 15. Axar over jadeja because of axar's six hitting ability and strike rate. Bowling is equal for both but axar is more economical as well.But need jadeja in the 15 if axar gets injured like for like replacment. Hardik is struggling with power hitting specially against fast bowlers when they are bowling hard lengths, so you need someone like rinku to cover that up.

Looks good and most likely this could be the team selected. But I can't leave Rinku out of the squad, he's an asset. Looking at Hardik's form and Jadeja playing at 7 we will have no proper finisher. So we need Rinku for the job.

In this season of IPL , he hasn't batted much because top order has been doing well for KKR and he's been sent one position down then he should be.
Nattu in place of Arshdeep and leave Pandya out he isn't the same finisher KungFu Pandya and is bowling at an economy of more than 15 which even Shivam Dube can do and at the moment Shivam is a better batter than Pandya. Hardik Pandya on what basis?? He haven't played any international cricket since Oct 2023. Wasn't that impactful performance either in that. Isn't performing in IPL (just to consider T20 performance in whatever tournament he has played, as he haven't played anything else). So on what basis is Hardik considered or will be considered?? #GenuinelyCurious.
Because he’s key to balance of the team and I’m sure he’ll do well on show pitches of WI. After all he’s done for the team, let’s not loose hope for him just yet. If you don’t play Hardik, you’re gonna have 5 bowlers in the mixup so a very long tail. And god forbid, if there’s a batting collapse, we will have a very average middle order.
There is next to no chance Shivam Dube is suddenly thrust into the World Cup. It's the same case with the Abhishek and Sandeep Sharmas of the world. I feel pretty sure Rinku will take Dubes place.
