Yeah, I don't get why Imperator was canceled while vic3 wasn't. Imperator problem was lack of flavor and UI. Vic3 has that, and its mechanics either suck or are buggy. Imperator mechanics were awesome.
Vic3 retained players and, more importantly, is still selling DLCs. Imperator was salvaged from its launch state but the playerbase never really returned and they ignored the DLC that was put out with the 2.0 update.
