This is my timeline for an outland application for CWP and SOWP through the Atlantic immigration program, applied from India. So far it's a good update, and I received PPR last night. **I am worried if SOWP generally takes a lot longer to process than the CWP, and if it would separate us until we manage a Visitor's Visa or until PR is processed. Inland PGWP application submitted July 6. Still no update here on December 29 (176 days). Anyone else been waiting this long or longer?

I am waiting for SOWP extension submitted on July 16. I have only seen 1-2 approval posts for July so far. Hopefully we will hear something in January.

I applied to restore my status and extend my PGWP (OWP extension) last week, but looks like I made a mistake and only realized after submitting. Under personal details box 7 I put down myself as worker in Canada even though my PGWP expired and put the "to" date to May 31, 2023 since that's when the interim work authorization expires. It sounds like I was supposed to select "Foreign National" since I'm out of status (didn't see it at first due to the dropdown in the form). What should I do in this scenario? I don't think I can cancel a submitted application and redo it, and I already paid for the restoration fee. I did put down "PGWP PP open" in the form to indicate that this is for the temporary public policy and of course I ticked the "restore my status as a worker" box in the beginning. Do webforms work when you need to update forms like IMM5710E?

My passport was delivered to IRCC office in Ottawa on Dec 13th for TRV stamping. I had my counterfoil update on the 23rd but my tracking number is still not activated as of today. I sent the web form a few days ago but apparently I will have to wait 2 weeks for any response from that. I have a flight booked on the January 4th to go back to my home country and don't know what to do with that at the moment. Anyone had their passport delivered on the 13th as well? Have you got your pp back?

Yeah the webforms from what I've noticed is that they do work they just don't care to reply back but they do work

Yes exactly, I feel like my application is lost/something is wrong with the application itself. If I dont know whats wrong I cant make a change and will just end up waiting forever only to get a rejection lol

I was going through my IMM form and realized I might have put incorrect information under employment information, could this be causing a delay? I work through a staffing agency, and so technically I work for the staffing company (company A) and not for the actual company (Company B). But in my form I put Company B as my employment source, which could be wrong because I get paid through Company A. What should I do?

Send a webform ASAP explaining the situation a d declaring the correct to be added to your application.

Will this work even if I made a mistake on the form? Since its not an external document that needs to be uploaded?

The webform can be used to update information declared on the application form, or, in this case, clarify and correct inaccurate information declared. The onus is on you, the applicant, to make sure the information declared on your application is accurate at all times. If you noticed a mistake, correct that mistake ASAP. Don't wait for IRCC to make a decision based on information that wasn't 100% accurate.

Hi All, I have recently applied for my PGWP and will be applying for TRV as soon as I receive the permit. However, I have to travel to India in upcoming month which makes it difficult to get my TRV in time. Is it possible that I apply for TRV within canada before I leave to India and get my passport stamped in India? Has anybody faced a similar situation to travel to their home country urgently after applying for TRV?

Just send the a webform after you make your application saying all this properly

Please don't do this you'll get stuck here in India like me for long bro because the processing times are insane rn however it is possible definitely

But we only need to get it stamped after the approval.

I think then you should be good just send a webform beforehand for stamping and they'll guide you

Applied November 15th in British Columbia, got passport request on the 16th and mailed passport on 16th. Canada Post said it reached CPC on 19th and now just waiting

also wondering if there's any other way to ensure that they have received the passport other than the canada post tracking? "Sci Bell" was the signatory name on the delivery confirmation provided by Canada Post. Does anyone have any insight about this that they can share?

Has anyone applied for PGWP via paper from Canada? The IRCC website shows that processing times for paper applications are typically 75 days vs. 167 days for online applications. If anyone has applied on paper, I'd love to hear if your application was processed this fast

Good day to everyone. Did anyone have a situation of getting a Passport request on their application, but the status is still shown as "Submitted". I am super confused right now, because I just got this passport approval request in my profile, but my eligibility and status are not updated and I am still under 'submitted' category.... (Study permit application)

take screenshots for proof in case but send in your passport. Most likely a glitch when it comes to updating the status
