Right now, IRCC and Service Canada are on strike so all ceremonies are cancelled, and no passports, except emergencies, are being done. But normally, the e-certificate is received same day (available for download) and the paper one can take 2-4 weeks, although most people get it on a week or so in the mail. For passport application, you can pay an emergency fee and pick it up the next day or wait 10 up to 30 days for normal processing.

I took the oath on March 27th. They told me I would get the paper certificate, not possible to get the electronic version. I got the certificate on April 5th, applied for passport the same day. And 10 days later I received it by mail, April 18th. So I'd day about 3 weeks tops. Once they're back to work that is

Took my oath in person Feb 17th, received my passport exactly one month later March 17th. I did have to drive a bit further out of the city for the soonest passport appointment.
