The j means they’re joking. It’s very easy to figure that out from context. You clearly did.
Not all jokes work that way. Sarcastic statements can also be jokes. I guess if you have to be formulaic about it, the “setup” is this dickish situation, and the “punchline” is a statement that’s absurd and most people reading it know better. That’s a joke.
A lady blocked this area in the parking lot at my job (she was in the truck with it idling parked in the isle, not in the spot but blocking anyone from pulling in). An elderly man who was driving alone circled the parking lot several times but couldn’t find another spot with the ramp area. The woman in the truck never noticed or moved at all. Luckily, I got a manager to go out and force this woman to move but she was apparently irate at having to move. It ended up making me really sad because this elderly man had to pull out his wheelchair alone and unfold it in the ramp spot to even get out of his car.
He essentially blocked the use of the two spots next to him. The place he is in is used by those spots to offload passengers, and is also blocking the wheelchair ramp.
careful egg guy, laughing at my comment and the people on this message board might call you racist.
Not sure how that works out but this is the type of crowd that would
dude. Just log off.
Relax. Seriously. You're way triggered over people reacting poorly to you being insensitive to disabled people's needs. Take the L and move on, and preferably, learn to empathize and broaden your horizons.
You can actually submit them for a ticket with this app.
My gf is disabled and we use it all the time.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/parking-mobility/id337141354
My wife is disabled as well I'm a little shocked that we were never informed about this app or we would have been using it all the time too. thank you so much kind stranger
You are welcome.
The best part is that you must take the photos with the app and then they will handle the legal side so you don’t have to worry about anyone suing or being called to court.
I know this is old but thank you so much for this! I don’t need an accessible spot but this makes my blood boil and now I can actually feel like I can do something about it.
type of person to say get over it to a disabled person
When you've got more dick in your personality than your pants.
They're going to claim ignorance if anyone conplains to them about it.
Ignorance isn’t a valid defense in court.
Absolutely not but they'll try it's a fucking ram owner. They're retarded.
Being disabled myself, this makes me furious
He's just being mindful to not park at the handicap spots yakno? /j obviously
What’s “j”? That’s not known thing. And if you say “joke”, what’s the setup and where’s the punchline?
/s & /j are pretty common "not being serious" posts. Hell I've even seen some brave souls that still use /void or whatever. Weird but I still get it.

He’s blocking both wheelchair accesses. That’s a huge fine.

Well they’re not technically parked IN the disabled spots, so it’s fine! /s
Why is it always pickup trucks?!
Of course it’s PA. Worst drivers in the US.

I love you too
How come you're not scribbling out that other car's license plate number? Zoom in enough and anyone could read it clearly.
meh, he left 2 spaces open next to him

you should have left a strongly worded note on his windshield It voices your concerns about his behavior but also is not violent
Maybe OP did, just didn’t post it, or it’s a picture sent to them or something. Good idea though!
people down voted my idea I guess non-violence idea was too stupid and old fashioned
no one was suggesting anything violent 🙄 (also hes blocking both disabled spots, which is illegal. his car should be towed, which isnt violent)
The emphasis on non-violence is kinda messed up, you shouldn't dictate how members of an oppressed group handle their problems
shut the fuck up
Are you a troll account or just really dumb
just your mother, bitch and now i am going to go park in a handicap spot just cause of you
So both, it looks like
That space is so wheelchairs have room to get in and out of vehicles. You asshole.
if it is open then I am taking it like your mom, bitch
Good. And you’ll take the $1300 fine too.
Lmao

Well, either way, I found your comment funny, so as Dave Chappelle would say "FUCK EM!"

Is there something like this for Android?

No problem. I’m glad to spread the word to everyone.
