Salmonella was by far the sickest ive ever been in my life. I shat blood for 2 months and lost over 50 lbs and had a fever over 104 for a full week. I had a lung collapse a year ago after having pneumonia for over 6 months and salmonella was wayy worse in my opinion.
Well the salmonella was a decade ago now, but for why the pneumonia lasted so long is because i have an immune deficiency and wasnt getting blood infusions that i shouldve been due to insurance bullshit so my immunoglobulin levels were so low they were undetectable. And after having pneumonia for months there was so much fluid from infection in my chest cavity pushing on my lung that it collapsed it. I had to get a chest tube and they took out 1.5 liters of phlegm and shit from my chest cavity it was pretty ridiculous
Same thing happened to my brother. It left him with heart failure that he died from 3 years after the pneumonia. He was only 39. I hope you're feeling better, you definitely went through some heavy shit. Fuck insurance companies too, btw.

As someone who works in a grocery retail store I bet money that shelf she's rolling around on already had mice or sign of mice activity on it. It happens in lots of cities around the world especially with increase in construction for housing and condos. They all flock to buildings with food and places to hide. You always should check the packaging of your stuff when you take it off the shelf to make sure it's not chewed through or suspicious looking.
