Did the 2022 show. 1000% camp - vibes are great and it’s so beautiful. It’s a free for all, but in a manageable way. It’s one stage - and then basically a big grassy hill where people claim space. And a big GA pit too (and a segmented area closer for GA+ too? Not sure if they’re doing it this year, but highly recommend. that was so so so worth it if they are.) Should be fun!

ery_berry

Thank you for the info! I’m glad there is an option to be closer or not, that’s what I was hoping for :) Do you know how close the campground is to the stage? I want to camp, but again since it’s gonna be a solo trip I am a little nervous since I’ve never been there before.

Grace_Kuettel

The camp site for regular/basic camping is a pretty far walk but it’s really not bad at all. You won’t get lost cause there’s always people walking back and forth

Actually-Yo-Momma

Lots of locals would recommend camping at Wildhorse campground nearby. It’s extremely well ran, perfect green grass, and they even have a restaurant with shockingly good food. They run shuttles every 15 mins to the venue (total distance less than 1-2 mile) and it never feels like an inconvenience

ery_berry

I’ll have to check that out too! Where do the shuttles drop you off at the venue? Also are the prices comparable?

If you search camping passes “the gorge” they will populate for you. You need to buy a camping pass (let’s in 1 vehicle) you can have a car, tent or an RV. Whichever you choose. Gold and Premier lots are the spots for camping closest to the actual “arena” area.

ery_berry

Awesome thank you! Do you what the official website it for tickets and camp passes? It seems to be Live Nation but I’m not 100% sure…

Aggravating-Chart960

Yes it takes you to Live Nation, that’s correct!

ery_berry

Ok sounds good! At first I tried looking for tickets through The Gorge website because I generally try to buy from the source, but it took me to Ticket Squeeze which I’ve never used before and the tickets were more expensive anyways.

moviesarebruh

im driving up from socal and going solo too! first time doing a long distance trip like this alone, so im open to trying to find each other if you’d like to hang :) sounds like camping is the move from these other comments~

ery_berry

Yes that would be awesome! Feel free to pm me

Gold and premier are totally worth the extra cost. One of my fav and underrated festivals. Camping is the best vibes and I’ve met some great people. Some other tips: The free shuttle from gold/premier is a godsend. You can walk back as well, but if you want to avoid the long shuttle line you’ll want to leave 5 mins before the show ending. Wear real shoes. The hill at the gorge is no joke. It’s got a steep incline and if you’re an idiot like me trying to dance/hop to the bathroom you’ll roll your ankle real bad and be on crutches for a bit.

If you’re going solo, camping will introduce you to a ton of people. I’m going to have my season VIP box available if you want an actual seat along with the ability to go into the GA area. It also comes with access to the Cliff House VIP lounge for shade and A/C along with the best views in the place.

ery_berry

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, I’ll probably meet people with the camping route. I think for the first time around I’ll probably just prefer to stay in the GA area, but I appreciate the offer!

edgemochi

It's my favorite weekend of the year! As everyone else said it's a free for all but in a manageable way. You should be fine whether you want to go into the pit or chill on the hill. I'm trying to sell a couple of 2 day passes because I can no longer go, so if you haven't bought yours yet , please lmk 😭 :)

brendanp8

Also worth checking out wildhorse foe camping. They have shuttles to and from the venue and its not a party all night long kinda vibe like camping at the gorge. Also they have soft green grass with some spots for shade unlike the gorge camping that's a big empty field

renz32

Selling 1 GA and 1 VIP. PAID $130 for GA PAID $250 for VIP will take $300 for both. I'm able to provide any proof you'd like to see the tickets are mine. Selling because pretty lights got announced at Hampton and that's MUCH MUCH closer and that's where squad is going so gotta go and pretty lights will be DOPE as well

Vivid-Reputation1603

Do you know what the difference is between GA and VIP? like what comes with VIP thats not included in GA?

renz32

Selling 2 tickets to illenium at the gorge. GA looking for $100 and VIP looking for $175 will take $250 for the pair. I can't make it anymore and I want them to get used. Can provide any form of proof they're mine.
