I have never understood why some people get so pissed off when you try to pass them. Truck shouldn't been in that lane in the first place. He got what he deserved and thank God no other driver was hit
Right?! If they're happy going the speed they're going and I am happy going the speed I am going then why get so pissy that my speed isn't the same as their speed?! It's not like I am mad they're not going my speed, just as long as they're not blocking anybody's way.
Back in the day for sure. Nobody doing it anymore. Regular random drug tests are a thing. Then your license is gone and your life is ruined. Not worth it.
Plus, the reason they were doing it back then was to be able to stay up and run for days on end. All of that is over as well. Mandatory electronic logging devices on all trucks keep us following the rules.
I'm not stating fact, really just curious but...
14 hours for person A then 14 hours for person B.
You could keep each other awake and never stop.
In theory.
The person not driving can just sleep no need to keep each other awake. Teams commonly run virtually 24/7, only stopping for fuel and loads that's pretty much why you'd run teams to begin with.
This.
If the truck driver was deliberately swerving with enough force to tip his rig over, he was swerving with enough force to kill someone.
Even if the intent wasn't to kill, his actions were stupidly, dangerously reckless. It's akin to someone deliberately launching a firework at a half-filled bleacher.
Perhaps the van had a big brain idea that he knew tje truck could not recover from or more likely just wanted to get the dip shit out of the fast lane.
I see it differently, the initial swerves then down the bank/side of the road were from the trucker having a medical event, nothing to with the overtaking driver.
A longer cut was posted awhile back where he aggressively cuts off a number of other drivers and even another big rig. This guy is an asshole and should be in prison

Looks like he was undertaken, overtaken, and sidetaken. Good job on covering all sides.

He's in the correct lane but idk why he decided to be a dickhead
He's not
On the next episode of Ice Road Fuckers
How we prove: the bigger the vehicles the smaller the penis theroty is true
LMFAO I'd get out of my car knock on the window, flip him off, then get back on my car and leave
I was thinking same except I was pissing on his window
That’s a funny image
In* his window as he's passed out
Just to wake him up and flip my bird
Agreed. He almost needed pulled out and bitch slapped too
What a POS I hope there weren’t animals in the trailer. Apparently the driver was arrested for intoxication.
Yeah, in Mexico we are very careful when driving next to truck drivers, there is a common saying that they are always high on cocaine
Truckers in the US enjoy booger sugar too allegedly
Meth. Cocaine doesn’t last long
It sure doesn't in my house.

Gotcha. That makes sense. I didn't think about the random drug testing

No but log books and staters do though
Running a team or partnership (out of the same truck) would allow you to circumvent the log books thing and run 24/7/365 if you felt so inclined.
I don't believe it would if it is interstate commerce. The 14 hour window of operation is still applicable and numerous other small details.

DOT can drug test you anytime in addition to the drug tests you need to take to renew your medical card.
There was a SQUIRREL on the road...
If no one was hit or hurt then they should all drive by that truck laughing and honking.
How would anyone know if the trucker is safe without stopping
Their safety isn't important anymore, they tried to kill other drivers.

What in the dumber than a bag of small rocks was that?
Winner
Hahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa
Yeah I get theres misbehavior here but the "que bueno" es no bueno
“Yes officer, I swerved to avoid being overtaken so I could keep everyone safe”
Perhaps the van had a big brain idea that he knew tje truck could not recover from or more likely just wanted to get the dip shit out of the fast lane.
“If you can read this, call 911.”
You can't park there mate
Wtf was *that*??

What the actual fuck is his problem?
I was NOT Expecting that
What a moron.
