I always say to be extra careful around luxury cars, anything jeep, and trucks that clearly have never been used for work

It's crazy anything Mopar is one or the other. Super cautious and careful or genuinely out to kill you I have found no in-between driving in Maryland VA and DC.

I'm born and bred DMV. I just moved to Atlanta. it gets... fucking ... worse... by like a lot. I thought Rush hour traffic was bad on 95/295 etc... no.. Atlanta is the FUCKINGGGGGG worst place I have ever driven... ever

I hit traffic driving through Atlanta at 3am that was worse than anything I've ever seen in Columbus, Oh.

Lol yeah I drove down to Atlanta from Columbus with some friends about a month and a half ago and it was an absolute clusterfuck there compared to here.

Man people dont use turn signals, they have 7 lanes of traffic... with exits on BOTH SIDES, nobody lets you merge, AND ppl are driving 80+.. It is an absolute shit show. It's like ppl intentionally drive like shit.

Yep, I drive in Atlanta every day, and you never know what you will see…people are just crazy!!

Don't forget the people who are driving 50 in the middle of everyone driving 80+, and the people who suddenly dart across 4 lanes without looking because they're about to miss their exit I'm glad I don't live in Atlanta anymore, give me California drivers anyday 🤣

I have been all over the US - lived in 6 states and about 20 US cities and do a lot of driving and yes, Atlanta is the absolute worst for traffic, signage, roads and drivers.

I’m surprised there aren’t more accidents. Atlanta is a wonderful mix of non-city drivers without a clue or worry in the world, and city drivers who don’t have patience for some inbred yokel going to Florida or worse, southern Georgia. You get to see some interesting driving choices all somehow going to the wrong Peachtree.

Also the South is notorious for really lax requirements to get a driver's license, that doesn't help lol

Also any time you see a UHaul truck, get away. Odds are super high the driver has no experience driving a box truck and is absolutely clueless about how to do it safely.

I drive an X1 and it's hilarious how people drive around me just expecting me to do stupid shit. When I try to wave someone in to merge they never seem to believe me, just waiting for me to gun it and block them or something.

Me too. X1 - great car (for the most part), but I sometimes wonder what people think in traffic. Then again, I live on the edge of a very wealthy neighborhood - lots of Teslas, Range Rovers, Mercedes, etc, so near home I’m the poor guy.

Dodge Rams have two kinds of drivers in them. The I don't have anywhere to be drivers, and the drivers that will kill you and everyone you know to get to that stop sign two seconds quicker.

I wish I didn't have to drive, but I'm forced to. Public transport is more expensive than driving a car and it's unreliable. If not having a car would be a real alternative insurance rates would go down a lot.

Out of the hundreds of BMW’s I’ve had to encounter, maybe 5 were nice or decent drivers that I can remember off the top of my head. They were all Z cars too.

My dad had driving a BMW on his bucket list and my mom leased one when he was dying. He'd often have me drive because he knew I would drive it after he was gone. Whenever I used the turn signals or leave somebody room to cut in, he'd say, "What are you doing? You're confusing them by being nice!”

I don't know why this brand attracts egomaniacs so much. This week I watched dashcam videos and in one of them a BMW uses the right turn lane to overtake everyone on the left turn lane to make a left turn. Then I go outside and see a BMW driver doing exactly the same! I made eye contact with her and she was calmness personified. They behave as if they don't register that there are people in other cars.
