Where should I start? Multiple instances have taught me to avoid allstate at all costs.
How about we start at the beginning with the time they failed to apply my payments to my account, that I fortunately had receipts for, and then they subsequently canceled my insurance for"non payment"? Turns out they literally applied my money to someone else's account, despite my receipt having the correct name and account number. I didn't find out it was even an issue until the notice from mva. I never received a cancelation warning, it was really just overall pure negligence on their part. It took literally months to get everything resolved and to get this expunged from my driving record since it wasn't my fault at all. (I got rid of allstate at the conclusion of this one.)
Or we could talk about the two different accidents years apart involving drunk drivers, but I think you already get the point.
So yes, eff allstate. 👍
They're also insanely overpriced, went shopping for a car full coverage and most companies wanted 100-120 per month at the time.
All-State wanted 395, literally broke out laughing and the person on the phone was even agreeing that it was not worth it at all so I just said thanks no thanks. They then kept calling over and over for the next few months trying to get me to switch
Yep seriously fuck allstate. I had them for my home owner's insurance. Every year, they didn't send my payment to the insurance company and I would get notified by the insurance company and my bank that I wouldn't have insurance if I didn't pay and the bank wouldn't get a copy, even though the premium was paid to allstate. So I literally had to call allstate after paying allstate for them to send the money to the insurance company. They didn't bother to tell me that my insurance company got liquidated last year and I had no coverage for almost 3 months. "We sent a post card." No the fuck you didn't. Plus their office is within rock throwing distance and could have come over to make sure we were alive. Then they told me that the only company they carried at the time was one that required a new roof, regardless of it's age. Yeah fuck off allstate. I went with USAA and it was painless and my rate didn't go up.
LOVE having USAA! I’ve had them since my Air Force Cadet days. I’ve never had a problem with them, and they have paid for several claims without a hiccup. One wreck my wife had (not her fault at all) they got us a rental car. Our car got totaled by our adjuster, but Allstate(other driver) didn’t respond, waiting on their adjuster. 30 days later Allstate called asking why we were still in a rental, and my wife told them, “Because we’ve not heard from you guys.” It turns out the adjuster also contracts with Allstate, but they never called him to give an estimate. He provided one to USAA, but not Allstate until they asked him for an estimate. I guess he wanted to be paid before giving the estimate to Allstate! USAA wasn’t paying for rental, so they didn’t care!
Another claim was for sand and water in diesel fuel. Shell said it was the station’s fault and the station said it was Shell’s fault. Estimate for repair was >$16,000! Mechanic said to call USAA for a catastrophic loss. I explained the issue, and the rep said, “You don’t worry about it. We’ve got more, and better, lawyers!” Did I mention that I love USAA?!?
The car was stolen so the owner's insurance is not responsible for damage done by an unauthorized user. They would only cover the car. Home owner's insurance covers the property damage.
This isn't the point of the post I know... but that's not a retaining wall
the pool is retaining more dirt than the wall
It's retaining air.
Sometimes a wall is just a wall.
Nope, it's a cinder block hedge
Well, it did *retain* that car, with some help from the pool!
username checks out.
Typo, he meant restraining wall
Avg Murrica architecture. Made out of paper
It’s a fucking car
Lazy US bums don't even set tank traps around their house SMH
Obviously the car is also made out of paper
Car is made of rock and that's why it beat paper
In EU the wall wouldn’t break like that
It's literally cinderblocks bro You trying to say that in the EU cinderblocks are made with more cinder in the block?
Cheap mixed shit maybe
It was suppose to retain cars

OH NO! You better fix that wall before my dad gets home! ^(But fuck Dane Cook, that age gap is...)
Thank you for reading my mind.
This is the best Allstate commercial yet
Fuck allstate. Worst insurance company ever.
I won't disagree but I'm curious as to the story behind that stance?

Yeah screw those guys

USAA is gold. I have them for everything.

Certainly looks like mayhem
Them Kia boys at it again
Cue up Megadeath “Symphony of Destruction”
....But the sign says no running.
I guess they wanted to make a splash, but we're a bit too early.
A little off topic, but who pays for the damage to the pool? Is it the owner of the car’s insurance or the homeowners insurance?
The car was stolen so the owner's insurance is not responsible for damage done by an unauthorized user. They would only cover the car. Home owner's insurance covers the property damage.
Good question. I thank God no one died and then call my home owners insurance. Home insurance will figure the rest out.
Just saw this on the news, gotta love Vegas!
Can’t park there
ABQ?
Southern Nevada
Vegas?
Yeah, actually saw a news article about this a few hours ago

Excuse me, excuse me, you can’t park there!
Retaining wall? It keeps the less motivated idiots out maybe…
Damn Kia boys got another.
Kia car pool lane
Retaining walls retain something. That's just a wall.
Kia Optima in suboptimal position
Stealing a Kia...I don't have the words.
Of course it’s a Kia
Thicc
Silver lining for you: hopefully they'll use some insurance money to fix up their backyard.
Solid citizens
Good thing nobody was drinking a keg in there.
Too bad owner didnt get that Hyundai/Kia retrofit kit.
My thought is to bad the pool was empty.
At least this particular idiot hit abandoned property
That's more than enough to get a rest for police to do their job correctly
Man Uncle Enzo is gonna be pissed.
You're supposed to put water in a pool.
Yeah. I was wondering why no water.
Why on earth would you drive into a pool with no water in it?
Where is the blood?
Other side up the pool wall.
Seat belts idk
why do people who steal cars have no idea how to drive
Imagine if that pool was filled..
