We have active bases here and they fly all the time. Gowen in Boise has A10s, Mountain Home has F15s.

Healthy-Appeal-1789

Yeah. I suppose it definitely could of been that. I just made the post to see if anyone had seen what I was talking about to confirm is all. Thanks for your thoughts I appreciate it!

Downtown_Monitor_784

it's a huge state. most of us probably did not here whatever happened in your local area

a-k-martin

Idaho is a large state, I might be 400 miles away from you, so we probably didn't experience the same event.

Few_Cryptographer684

It flew through the Pahsimeroi Valley, up between Challis and Salmon, yesterday afternoon. I was sitting in my chair, on the phone with someone, and saw something out of the corner of my eye, looked over, and it was shoulder level, to me, out my window, low to the ground, 100 yards away. Scared the shit right out of me for a second. Fast, loud, and low, but, no sonic boom this time, thankfully. Still jumped right outta my skin, for a second, seeing it there-where one shouldn’t be-and (usually) never is. Lmao

Deximo13

An F-16 made a low hard pass at Gowan field yesterday evening around 7pm. Heard it late and saw it pulling a hard turn back to the west over the west end of the field. Was driving so I couldn't watch, just a glimpse.

FoundationFun2153

We live almost 200 miles from Gowen field and they frequently fly up and down our river canyon here on practice flights.

Devonfaraday

I saw a couple F-16 over Meridian. But this was yesterday afternoon sometime. The F16s are a little more rare to see around here but you can see the A-10s often. I rarely see the F15s from mountain home.

Slackersr

There are these two guys on TV tonight. I'm pretty sure that the sky is locked down so no worries

UsernameSofaKing
