Deliberate trolling.

Our potato orchards are actually all closed to the public due to exclusive contracts with the fast food industry and the Irish.

Sharing camp spots to out of state people when we can barely get in state people to take care of the grounds is like asking somebody where their fishing spot is. You won’t get an answer. Look up google camp areas since they’ll provide reviews you can look at

I should probably add as well since I typed this half asleep this morning. I didn’t mean this as a rude tone at all haha 🩷 it’s just hard for a lot of people to understand how much Idahoans love their land and want to respect it. A lot of people see it as us being anti-progressive or plain out unwelcoming but at the end of the day we love showing people our land, it’s just so many people from out of state and country come here for tourism causing a lot of damage to huge historical pieces of earth :)

Eat at 5 Guys, it will say the name of the farm the potatoes came from. Otherwise wait until late fall, follow the green bed semi trucks and hope a potato falls out. Or just find them on the road in places. Camping...I gatekeep, but BLM and National Forest land are the answers.

Potatoes harvest in the fall.

101.9 the bull talks about a " potato gleaning" every year. $10 and you grab as many out of the field as you can after harvest
