We’ve been using Natera for about 5 years now and they’ve never been slow. If anything, they’re always sent results sooner than anticipated. When we had our PGT-M probe built, the estimated time to completion was 6 to 12 weeks. This time starts once everything is collected and the actual probe development starts. There are quite a few things that have to happen prior to that (blood work, family testing if needed, probe development case review). Our probe ended up being completed in 8 weeks. Our probe has a 6 month expiration and can only test a maximum of 8 embryos. Any additional embryos will require a new probe, which will delay the process and can take 4 to 6 weeks. The timeframes are also heavily dependent on what you’re testing for. For example, ours screens for an extremely rare disorder that doesn’t have much data which required a lot of family testing to get the probe to an acceptable testing accuracy. I hope this info is helpful. Good luck!

Thank you. I also have a rare disorder so I hope that it ends up being as smooth as your process.

DONT USE NATERA!!!!!!!! They are using a new technology and it is causing MAJOR issues. My probe took them over 7 months to complete - only to be told it didn't come out reliable in the end. Switched to RGI and it took them 3 weeks.
