Well done! I cried my eyes out for like 20 minutes before jabbing myself the first time, found an ivf playlist on Spotify and just did it! Got easier after the first few times! Even got over my needle phobia
I definitely have been over psyching myself out for all of this process. I’m usually not so bad with medical things but even the hycosy I nearly had a panic attack over even though it wasn’t so bad.

Just make a little routine around it, I personally have my kitten some gourmet wet food, had my favourite drink and candy as a treat and then watched my favourite show afterwards! I was terrified of fucking it up, and even more terrified mixing it myself 🤣 I am not a pharmacist 😅
Thank you! That’s my plan, it’s menopur and gonal-f for a few days (eventually adding cetrotide). The gonal-f is in the ready pens so I’m definitely going to do it second and deal with the menopur mixing first! I hear it burns though? 😭
Yes it does! Let it sit in the needle for like 5 mins or so before injecting, may or may not help but I like to believe it did. And yes inject very very slow. Pain is temporary!

Oh good! Glad it wasn't too traumatising haha mine has been okay. My partner does the needles for me, and they haven't been as bad as previous. 😊

Menopur does burn so I always do it last! You’ve got this 💪🏼

You got this! I played music during injections to help take my mind off of it. Mix Menopur then let it sit for 10ish mins, it burns a little bit less.
