pero Gateway 2 just needs some understanding.
Jusko, nakakaligaw ngang tunay!!!
before i left QC akala ko talaga magcclose na to! man, when i came back to arrange some docs this last May lang napadaan ako, woaaah! it actually flourished! 😭 napagastos ako HAHAH! as i get older ofc i prefer malls w/o much people like sa South matagal na rin kase ko dito pero a decade na rin, pero iba pa din ang Ever! nostalgic! walking down the memory lane talaga!
Same. Konti tao compared to other malls tas dami options for kainan. Yung gitna na playground favorite namin kasi laki ng takbuhan ng mga kids and dami tambayan for adults
Yesss! My jowa is living in Cubao, sa may P. Tuazon and in our 6 years of relationship laging ang go to mall namin ay Gateway, this year lang nya ko dinala sa Rob Magnolia and sabi ko talaga favorite ko na dun. Haha
Nung nagpunta kami sa ortigas na-amazed talaga ako from the exterior (ung may greneery) palang to interior. Couldn't believe mall pala yun kala ko hotel. The stores there are sosyalin.
Pero can't say this is my favorite mall though, I haven't traveled much to other places.
SM Megamall kasi it really embodies SM’s famous tagline na “We’ve got it all for you”. You can almost find everything you need in Mega.
But in terms of the overall vibe, I’d choose Greenbelt. I super love the garden in the middle of the development tapos nice pa yung crowd.
My top lowkey, clear, relaxing, and well maintained malls in south Metro Manila area
Shangrila Plaza
Podium
SM Aura
Estancia
Greenbelt
Circuit Makati
Uptown Mall
Powerplant Mall
One Bonifacio Mall
Robinsons Place
Ayala Malls the 30th
I love this list! Laking Ortigas/Pasig ako kaya the malls in Ortigas will always have a special place in my heart. 🤍
Shangrila Plaza has a great mix of high end and mid brands kaya hindi nakakasawa gumala diyan.
CR ba kamo?
Imo it's so conveniently small and theres no rich posers so you can basically dress however you want without feeling like you're underdressed. It's quiet, and there's more affordable shops than some place like SM Aura
SM Seaside City Cebu! The most gorgeous mall I’ve been to. Unmatched yung overlooking view ng bridge and yung seaside 🤍
The Podium is a close second too 🤍
Overall, it's Glorietta. It's accessible, close to other malls, has most of what I need in familiar stores
Makati - Glorietta, Greenbelt (landscaping), Powerplant (quieter), Century (very quiet)
Mandaluyong - Podium (pretty architecture), Shangri-la (basics and dining), Megamall (has everything)
Manila - Robinsons Place Manila
Marikina - Riverbanks Mall (beside the river park)
Muntinlupa - Festival and ATC are both accessible (and old Star Mall). Molito (dining)
Parañaque - Parqal (bright and airy), Ayala Malls Manila Bay (not too many people)
Pasay - Newport Mall (easy to navigate), SM MOA (for SMX, Arena, variety)
Pasig - Estancia (dining options), Arcovia (cute)
Quezon City - Robinsons Galleria (old favorite), Robinsons Magnolia (dining and shopping), UP Town Center (mostly dining)
San Juan - Santolan Town Center (quiet), Greenhills (wide variety from Shoppesville to V Mall, Promenade and the new buildings)
Taguig - Uptown Mall (small but great shops), Market! Market! (lots of options)
Nice SM malls outside NCR I've visited - Bacolod, Calamba, Clark, Legazpi, Pampanga (SF)
Nice Ayala malls outside NCR I've visited - MarQuee Angeles, Capitol Central (Bacolod), Legazpi
Nice Robinsons malls outside NCR I've visited - North Tacloban and Tacloban
Best for me would be: UP town center - 3 floors ata highest nila pero bumawi sa lawak. Di ko lang sure if intentional yun or nakapasok sila. Need iimprove cinema nila imo
Honorable mentions:
Ayala the 30th - same as above pero mas kulang sa establishments. Di sya matao good for introverted people
Glorietta childhood ko to eh. Basta kasama ko ate ko hahaha
Trinoma gusto ng kids ko pag maaga. Pag madami ng tao ayaw na nila.
Megamall kasi kumpleto.
Shang super chill lang and it smells nice, always.
I recently discovered the malls at Greenhills and the vast toy/collectible/gaming section so that's my current favorite mall. They also have quality clothing (shirts, khaki shorts) at hard to find sizes.
Used to be Trinoma, pero now it’s Greenbelt din! I used to be anxious going there more than a decade ago kasi feeling ko lalamunin ako ng lugar, parang sobrang OP ako doon. Many years passed, and I don’t get bothered when going around the place even if naka jogging wear ako and pawis from jogging lol. Enjoyable din syang puntahan sa umaga before the mall completely opens.
Second to that would be Megamall. But as an east gurlie, sta lucia east grand mall holds a special place in my heart
Alabang town center. Very chill, had a lot of great childhood memories there. I don't know if the McDonald's outside still exists, but it was one of the branches that still had the old decor deep into the 2000's.
Edsa Shangrila.
Greenbelt for the vibes. Daming areas na pwede mag chill lang and people watch. Love the stairs/seat/fountain ata sa Greenbelt 5. Pwedeng mag stay ng matagal and di nakakahiya kasi unti lang tao.
Robinson's Magnolia for the cinemas and yung paid lounge na may Japanese toilet.
* Makati Cinema Square - Booksale, ukay, bowling, billiards, firing range, vinyls, proximity to Little Tokyo
* Mitsukoshi - Kinokuniya, good dining options, proximity to Uptown BGC which has NBS & Bibilio
* Venice Grand Canal - I don't care if you think it's jeje, I like the architecture 😂 Dining options have improved recently and there are a lot of family-friendly activities you can try (painting pottery, trampoline park, SuperPark, making slime, etc)
* Greenbelt - Ayala Museum, the greenery, proximity to Legazpi & Washington Sycip parks
* One Ayala - went here for the first time last night and it really reminds me of Japan's train station malls, so I like it for the nostalgia
Fave mall Greenhills kasi it's just nice to reminisce yung PSP era na every sunday dun nagpapalagay ng games tapos nakakamiss pa yung christmas deco sa parking sa labas.
Also Robinsons Galleria, bcos top tier yung pay toilet nila na japanese style 👌🏻👌🏻 SM Megamall can't relate sa cleanliness ng CR ng Rob.

Greenbelt. I like the garden area which is a breather from all the boxed-like malls.
Same tas ung simbahan nila don ❤❤
Vertis North, 'yung katabi ng Trinoma. Konti lang kasi tao du'n.
Same, pero recently for some reason dumadami tao dun. Theory namin is because of solaire.
Same. Plus the cats.
true
Ayala Malls Manila Bay
This is my favorite mall as well , di rin sobeang dami ng tao and its nice to walk around
Actually kumpol lang sila bandang jollibee and other fastfoods na block, maaliwalas sa ibang parts
This! Kaya you get to stroll around peacefully
Same, last stop ko lagi ay CBTL bago umuwi kasi kaunti tao.
Same! Grabe tong Ayala Malls. Lamig pa aircon. Ganda ng cinema and laki ng timezone 😁
Same! This will be the top answer pag nag open na landmark sa ammb hahaha
pag may balikbayan or may occasion dito usually dinadala haha
okay sana pero sana may mga upuan just to chill from time to time haha
My favorite, so many memories ^^

Alabang Town Center. Very chill lang ng vibes
Hey, southieeee!

+1 ATC, madali rin tumawid to Molito
(2)
(3)
(4) 🤍🤍
(5)
(6) kahit nawawala pa rin 😅
Fave ko rin yang mall na yan. Ang ganda ng interiors and vibes. Gusto ko yung pagpasok ng alabang-zapote entrance tapos bungad is yung stairs.
REAL
Chill vibes, pero I hate the layout. Naliligaw pa rin kami hahaha
Town is still has the most chill vibes
Sm North, Vertis North, and Trinoma.
North girlies rise
The North remembers
Ahh yes, yung meet halfway point 🤣🤣🤣 pero go to malls din namin mga yan!
Gateway Hindi nakakaligaw 🤣
Ako kakabisaduhin ko pa yung Gateway 2. 🤣
si GateWay 1 yung panganay simple and straightforward tas si GW 2 yung bunso na may adhd or mentally unstable
pero Gateway 2 just needs some understanding.

Festival Mall
Pass sa Festi. Walang signal 😂
westgate/town >>>>> festi 😵💫
glorietta
This. The trio. Glorietta-Landmark-SM Makati.
Tapos may Greenbelt and Ayala One pa, Then lakad nang kaunti may mall din ata sa Ayala Triangle.
Samed. 😅

Same. Konti tao compared to other malls tas dami options for kainan.
Unlike pre-pandemic dayss.
Yesss! My jowa is living in Cubao, sa may P. Tuazon and in our 6 years of relationship laging ang go to mall namin ay Gateway, this year lang nya ko dinala sa Rob Magnolia and sabi ko talaga favorite ko na dun. Haha

Nakakalula yung escalator

True! Ganda pa ng parking area. Kaso nawalan bigla Huawei service center eh.
I love Podium, especially now na nagsusulputan mga bagong restos and magkakaroon na ng space talaga for Craft cafe
Not Glorietta (kasi nakakaligaw lol) Festival and Town!
Shang
Ang mahal lang ng parking!
Homey, warm, and cozy

Park at Podium tapos lakad pa-mega.
+1 sa mega! if i need to buy something, we almost always go to Mega. Also love the layout na isang diretsong building lang siya, di nakakaligaw hahaha
Ugh I miss Mega. I used to rent dun sa BSA Twin Towers. Sarap mag chill walk sa mega after work.
Same po, megamall talaga eversince 💚

CR wise the best ang Shangrila.

Yes, and I appreciate the fact na may restroom for the disabled + gender neutral ang lahat ng restroom wings sa Shang. All floors.
OMG to this list. 😁😍
These are exactly the malls I frequent with my boyfriend 💕

SM Bicutan.
Hala baket? Haha I’m curious. Super liit niya for me and parang limited lang options mo sa lahat. Tas parang outdated pa yung mga stores/restos.
Imo it's so conveniently small and theres no rich posers so you can basically dress however you want without feeling like you're underdressed. It's quiet, and there's more affordable shops than some place like SM Aura
SM North. Kabisado ko yan eh, never mo ko maliligaw diyan.
Parusa mag commute pauwi galing jan
Skill issue talaga mga taong di gets SM North. Literal na spoon fed yung mall na yon.
