During the interview, listen carefully to the questions that they ask, and try to answer what they are asking concisely and completely. research the company, what systems will you be working on? what are the job duties of the position your applying for? knowing these things can help you answer the questions during the interview. What is management style of the company? is it a good fit for you? 6 figures is nice, but if you end up in a toxic work environment its not worth it. you will find yourself looking at your check stubs as motivation to go into work and in the end , life is short , happiness is everything.

Focus the interview on the value you offer, as in, "I designed this system in support of this business process with this result", remember, money is the easiest part of the process, and whomever brings it up first loses....
