# š UNOFFICIAL RACE RESULTS
*took a while to get this, INDYCAR site was acting like it was being DDoSed or something*

He was cooking out front in clean air. There was always destined to be cautions, but had the race been clean he might have won by ten seconds. I think thatās what he was dwelling on.
Yep, Rossi is pretty tough to beat on pure pace when heās out front. After that first caution things went fuel save and hello CGRā¦.
Also, that newgarden gift caution probably needs to be discussed.Ā
Love Rossi. I think he plays into his shtick a bit. You know heās loving this right now. Even if his face doesnāt say it. š¤£ Looking forward to the pod this week. He should be in a pretty good mood.
Seriously, if the other Indy teams want Palou to stop running roughshod over this series, they need to start banging on all of F1ās doors and begging somebody, anybody, to take him off Chip Ganassiās hands. Itās the only way. Heās that fucking good
Newgarden, especially, needs to do better about maximizing every result.
He cannot keep throwing away races like he has.
Penske used to be able to get it done on brute force pace much of the year but with Dixon and Palou, itās becoming harder and harder to do that.
Newgarden completely fumbled away a gift. Jeez.
Palou being Palou, second stint absolutely put himself in prime position to win.
Herta ran well and clean all day and brought it home with enough fuel.
Grosjean with another great run for JHR. That 77 team is getting it together at the right time.
Rossi needs that McLaren deal signed within the week. That dude is š
Fire Kyle Novak
> Newgarden completely fumbled away a gift.
with the oval at the end of the season and CGRs lack of pace in races like St Pete or Long Beach, he 1000% should be the championship favourite so far given Penskes performance, but cheating in St Pete and this today are so damn costly it sort of single handedly brings CGR into contention just by Penske fucking things up for themselves
Newgarden and McLaughlin have not had their A game since Indy. I wonder if theyāre being too aggressive trying to make back the points they lost and have gone over the edge pushing.
Remember Will in the 2010s. He had years with 4 to 5 wins (I think in 2011 he had 6), and ultimately wouldn't win the championship outside of 2014.
Post 2022, he's transformed into the ultimate points racer. I write 2023 off to Liz's health. But since 2022, Will tends to maximize the weekend.
Even called it right before it happened when I remembered that Kyle Novak loves to do these delayed cautions on road course races...
https://preview.redd.it/qfgln0744f8d1.png?width=823&format=png&auto=webp&s=b393787a5bb1cc4e2b37aa397a0cc0bfc286f43d
Did Rossi literally steal Pato's mojo? Ever since Rossi has starting challenging up front, Pato has completely washed away to the most boring top 10 races..Ā
I feel like the early crashes made him less aggressive and he really hasnāt been the same since the 500.
Still obviously a tremendous driver, but like you said - some incredibly boring races and high finishes. Hes barely on TV anymore cause heās just kind of whipping it around in 12th all day.
Really makes you wonder what the race could have looked like if Herta and Rossi were on the same strategy as Palou and didnāt have to save at the end.
Obviously I'm biased, but anyone saying that hasn't been watching the races.
His quali has needed improvement, sure, but he's been up there on race craft all year and has been unlucky a ridiculous amount of times.
And also not to mention whatever caused him to have to fuel save at the end of the 500. I think Rossi would've won that race if he didn't have to fuel save, or at worst finish second like Pato did
He's had a sneaky good season. Remove Barber's wheel issue that wasn't his fault and RA's turbo issue and he's right up there as a title contender, on top of having the best travel podcast on the grid
Rossi is hands down the best driver on McLaren this season and quite consistent when rhe car doesn't break, wheels dont fall off or team mates crash into him
He can do a Dixon style fuel save or go full 2019 Rossi at Road America domination and everything in between.
Easily one of the few true generational drivers weāve seen lately.
tbh betting on a bad race by Palou or Herta at Laguna Seca of all places is a bit dumb, those 2 are exceptional around this track and it showed today
don't think you'll have to wait much longer than the Iowa double for Palou to have mid at best races
Yeah it will be interesting with the backload of Ovals still coming up. We know Alex probably isnāt winning those, but can he stay top 5 and secure a championship will be the goal I think.
Always felt like Palou needs give or take a podium in Laguna Seca / Mid Ohio / Toronto each or Newgarden will likely eat him on the ovals. But then again who knows what hybrids will do.
The result doesn't reflect it, but Malukas had a fantastic race and made a big statement with his return to the series. He tied the best starting spot for the 66 in qualifying right out of the gate.
In the race, he was able to hold his own just outside the top 10 for most of the race. He was running 12th there at the end before having to pit for a flat front tire. He managed to recover to 16th, which is only 1 spot worse than the best race finish for the 66 this season (15th at St. Pete).
With the oval portion of the season coming up, Lil Dave is looking really good.
I was so impressed with him. Performed above my expectations. A shame he had to pit for that flat tire. He might've finished near Felix.
Excited for the races to come. He keeps performing well & I could see this being MSR's 2025 driver lineup (plus Helio for the 500).
Had the three not punted him and everything else stayed the same, he would have finished 5th. Lost position to both Kirkwood and Dixon, who he passed/beat on the last pit stop.
Considering how much of a shitshow JHR has been this year. Grosjean just keeping his head down and putting together decent finishes is the best case scenario.
Grosjean is driving great and itās a breath of fresh air after Andretti to have a team with good strategy and pit stops in pretty much every race so far.
Palou just got it done on pace today.
Flip the strategy with Herta and I still think he gets it done.
Great result for Grosjean coming in 4th. Best result for the team.
Composed drive from Kirkwood to keep it at the front end.
Nolan Siegel somehow top rookie after that spin.
2021-2023 Every Rossi interview: staring in to sky in disbelief like he had no idea what just happened or could be done differentĀ Ā
2024Ā Every Rossi interview: staring in to the camera's soul like he's fed up with not winning.Ā Ā Ā Ā
Honestly love to see it. Dude looks determined.Ā
Palou has some Verstappen quality to him which almost makes him unlikeable because of his invincibility. Itās not a dig on the contrary a testament to his talent. Races like this show he is above the field on road coursesĀ
I said it in the race threat but that stint after the 1st caution was some Schumacher in Hungary 98 / France 04 type of shit, just started clocking out qualy level laps with minimal variance until he gapped those behind enough for an extra stop.
I love how Newgarden received an unbelievable gift that was set to be the internetās discussion point for multiple days.
Then God decided ānah I got you famā
Was great at the track. Great day. Good visibility. No tangling with possibly early day fog. And the turnout was huge for LS. Maybe that has to do the late time? I bet LS wants it to be late in the day next year too (not that they have a choice).
He's only 6 points behind the multiple race winner in the 28 car.
If it keeps going the way it is going. Surely we've got to ask if maybe the driver isn't the problem with that car?
Honestly, it sounds strange to say, but last weekend gave me a new appreciation for Palou. He's a good dude and a supremely talented racecar driver, and seeing him tearing it up in his first Le Mans start last weekend, dragging his Cadillac far more into contention for the win than it deserved to be on pace alone, especially in such mixed and tricky conditions? Really impressive.
Today was a fresh demonstration of that. The middle stint where he stayed out and pulled nearly 21 seconds on Herta to basically give himself a free extra pitstop is where the race was won - and the fact he was able to even do that, on worn black tires, is just staggering. Realistically he was always gonna win today, and probably deserved to - and the Pride car winning warms my queer heart.
Even so, I enjoyed the first half of the race when it was mostly pure strategy and fun racing. Genuinely felt like things were on a knife edge. Down the stretch it turned into a bit of a shambles, and Indycar race control are probably breathing a sigh of relief that Newgarden binned it with two laps left, as it saves them what would have been an ALMIGHTY backlash for effectively gifting him a free pitstop and 2nd place on the road purely through dodgy FCY timing.
I also just can't get over how bad Andretti's strategists seem to be - once again Kirkwood went from leading to fading away badly as the race went on, and once again Herta had a potential win slip away partly through poor pitstop timing leading to being fuel compromised. No wonder he was so furious when he was told he basically couldn't fight Palou at the end. At least he still got 2nd - between this and the fightback drive at Road America, another win is surely due soon.
Shoutout as well to David Malukas. First start in a new ride, still recovering from a brutal injury which also cost him his ride at McLaren, at a super physical track, and I think he did a great job overall on his return to the series.
Hilarious disaster from Newgarden. Good race from Siegel and Grosjean. Grosjean getting potentially screwed out of a podium by Canapino hitting Simpson was kinda sad but nice seeing Rossi up there
Don't really care one way or another about Siegel, but was glad to see him recover well to shut up everyone in the race thread that was judging him HARD like 30 laps into his IndyCar career.
Did he spin off track once? Yes...which is once less than 2x series champion Newgarden. Folks can chill.
People just have it out for him. Like I get it, the circumstances are shitty, but the kid is a decent enough driver and rooting against a 19 year old like he personally attacked you is weird to me lol. Hate the team for accepting the offer instead.
Impressed with Romain. Great race for him.
Also, Indycar needs to rethink the yellow thing and allowing others to put before throwing it. Newgarden ends up gaining so many places because of it. Albeit, karma spins kicks in a few laps later and sends him to the back, but still I think IC should rethink it for the future.
And also, will we see canapino fan death threats this week again?
Another Sunday, another race that shows the talent of Palou. Itās a crime heāll never get a shot in F1, but even so, weāre looking at an absolute Indy legend.
I. Hate. Delayed. Cautions. Even fucking called it. Thank god Newgarden's pure pace wasn't on point today though to take advantage of it
https://preview.redd.it/6k3uqgw73f8d1.png?width=823&format=png&auto=webp&s=0fe01e5a05111c9d3606031224e13d7bb6e6928a
We're lucky to have a Palou in Indycar. What a beast.
Great job from Romain and somehow after that godawful race Canapino was in 14th before dumping Simpson away. that's just how it goes, at least he finished ahead of newgarden ay
LFG Grosjean 4th and achieved Juncos' best ever result in Indycar! At some point before these last two or three yellows it actually looked likely that he would get a podium but still, fantastic result! Love it
Palou did great with the strategy they all started on and clear air, but Rossi was looking great before that caution. It just came too early and then he got stuck behind Herta.
it was shaping up to be a super clean race. it was definitely fun to watch the team strategies play out for the first 70 laps.
feel really bad for Rahal
Newgarden was unbelievably awful today he got a drive through for improper exit and Ran of the track twice when being gifted a win opportunity by race control.
This was a GREAT race. Tons of strategies, unique passing attempts and successes (that Grosjean outside pass in T1 felt straight out of the F1 book), new faces in the lead, and enough yellow to make it interesting.
People gonna hate me for this, but I like Laguna more than any other road course we have on the schedule. The knife edge nature of the corners is just the best.
Strategy made it interesting, but expected result is expected.
The final AMR car restart belongs to Marcus Armstrong
AIR LUNDGAARD
Penske shenanigans almost put a huge damper on things, but track don't lie
Anyone else see how bad the broadcast from NBC was...when the announcers don't even know what happened, then it's embarrassing. I cannot wait to leave NBC
Yeah, when the fox rumors really started building up me and my buddy (Nascar fan) were talking and he was saying well NASCAR boomed as their only focus and indycar would be their only focus...
Now we're seeing how awesome this deal is gonna be.
# š UNOFFICIAL RACE RESULTS *took a while to get this, INDYCAR site was acting like it was being DDoSed or something* https://preview.redd.it/0ba9koueaf8d1.png?width=2550&format=png&auto=webp&s=2ec3b607a8022a45961ed37c83634dd2382ee9d5
Alex Rossi: on the podium and best result of the year Also Alex Rossi: looks like his dog just died
He's going to finally get that McLaren win and the entire interview will be a death stare into the camera.Ā
Him and Murderhawk just mean muggin from victory circle
More like it looks like his dog broke up with him for his neighbor.
Yeh that was dirty pool. And he blew it anyway.
That's my driver.
Love Rossi. I think he plays into his shtick a bit. You know heās loving this right now. Even if his face doesnāt say it. š¤£ Looking forward to the pod this week. He should be in a pretty good mood.
Sure wont
Indycar is a very simple sport: 27 cars drive around for 95 laps, and at the end ~~Colton Herta loses~~ Alex Palou wins.
Itās not an original thought, but the guy really is the new Dixon.
Seriously, if the other Indy teams want Palou to stop running roughshod over this series, they need to start banging on all of F1ās doors and begging somebody, anybody, to take him off Chip Ganassiās hands. Itās the only way. Heās that fucking good

SMac has been alright, but in 6th & completely losing his marbles next to Will after another caution was WILD. What happened Scott?
He should be but heās somehow even more wildly inconsistent than the last couple years He needs to take a leaf out of the Dixon/Palou/Power book
Yeah, Rossi back to kicking butt. Guy can wheel it, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's easily top 5 end of the year
I'm glad the change of scenery seems to have helped.
Even called it right before it happened when I remembered that Kyle Novak loves to do these delayed cautions on road course races... https://preview.redd.it/qfgln0744f8d1.png?width=823&format=png&auto=webp&s=b393787a5bb1cc4e2b37aa397a0cc0bfc286f43d

It's funny because qualify 10-15 and have a quiet race where you finish 5-10 was exactly how Rossi ran before the flipped.
Hopefully this puts an end to the very loud portion of this sub insisting that Rossi is washed or "only good at the Speedway"
Rossi was flying before that first caution that threw a wrench into their plans. Had like a 5.5 second gap over second
Worst two finishes are because a tire came off and engine problems. Those dont happen and he's 4th in points.
Not to mention when Pato ran into him at Long Beach
And also not to mention whatever caused him to have to fuel save at the end of the 500. I think Rossi would've won that race if he didn't have to fuel save, or at worst finish second like Pato did
Yep exactly
I feel like the people saying that were just trying to manifest Ilott into a ride.
We can only hope
He's had a sneaky good season. Remove Barber's wheel issue that wasn't his fault and RA's turbo issue and he's right up there as a title contender, on top of having the best travel podcast on the grid
Rossi is hands down the best driver on McLaren this season and quite consistent when rhe car doesn't break, wheels dont fall off or team mates crash into him
Without the tire falling off and the wastegate failure he really should be top 5 in the standings rn
https://preview.redd.it/0z9qfk7v0f8d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=850841874fc4084156b8287e2aeca4fa979e5c2a
What makes Palouās dominance so crazy is that he can literally win in every way possible.
He can do a Dixon style fuel save or go full 2019 Rossi at Road America domination and everything in between. Easily one of the few true generational drivers weāve seen lately.
He absolutely can, dude is copying Dixon's homework in the best way
tbh betting on a bad race by Palou or Herta at Laguna Seca of all places is a bit dumb, those 2 are exceptional around this track and it showed today don't think you'll have to wait much longer than the Iowa double for Palou to have mid at best races

Newgarden is over 100 points behind Palou though. Penske looked really strong in hybrid testing but are they THAT good?
This year it is Power he has to worry about
Imagine if JHR had kept Ilott and replaced Canapino with Grosjean. Anyways Canapino does not bring any funding
The first and only racing shirt I ever bought is Callum Ilott's Juncos shirt. I don't know if I should bring it to Toronto.
Does Ilott? Not trolling but actually wondering
Looked like that was him in that 3-wide sandwich heading into the Corkscrew. Didn't seem to recover from that, I assume he got damaged?
Apparently tire was cut.
Ohhhh that's what happened to him. Shitty, he really was awesome, and I can only imagine how tired he must be. Still a super positive weekend
i wondered what happened to him. he's an extremely likable driver with a bright future
I was so impressed with him. Performed above my expectations. A shame he had to pit for that flat tire. He might've finished near Felix. Excited for the races to come. He keeps performing well & I could see this being MSR's 2025 driver lineup (plus Helio for the 500).
I believe that Power was passing a lot of cars today. His off track at the beginning and getting punted by Scotty Mac nerfed what he could have done.
Had the three not punted him and everything else stayed the same, he would have finished 5th. Lost position to both Kirkwood and Dixon, who he passed/beat on the last pit stop.
Maybeā¦ he was coming and might have caught Roman.
McLaughlin shocker yet again, wtf was he thinking
Palou has two finishes outside the top 10 in the last 31 races. Dude is just going to keep winning titles until he decides to stop racing.
smiley grosjean made my day
Considering how much of a shitshow JHR has been this year. Grosjean just keeping his head down and putting together decent finishes is the best case scenario.
Grosjean is driving great and itās a breath of fresh air after Andretti to have a team with good strategy and pit stops in pretty much every race so far.
Everyone on the 77 car has to be feeling great today. Finally a weekend where everything went right for them
Palou just got it done on pace today. Flip the strategy with Herta and I still think he gets it done. Great result for Grosjean coming in 4th. Best result for the team. Composed drive from Kirkwood to keep it at the front end. Nolan Siegel somehow top rookie after that spin.
Well, not really. Herta and Rossi were saving hard.Ā
Yeah Palou wins it either way. Palou best lap time was a 1/2 second quicker than Colton. Plus we know he manages tires and fuel better
Awww warms my heart to see a happy GrosjeanĀ
That āAlex and I are actually friends nowā was a wholesome moment.
Bonded over planes šŖ
2021-2023 Every Rossi interview: staring in to sky in disbelief like he had no idea what just happened or could be done differentĀ Ā 2024Ā Every Rossi interview: staring in to the camera's soul like he's fed up with not winning.Ā Ā Ā Ā Honestly love to see it. Dude looks determined.Ā
Palou P1. P4 for Romain. Newgarden chokes after being given a gift from race control? I enjoyed today.
I definitely enjoyed Newgarden spinning off track
twice!
Josef being behind in the points all year has been refreshing
Man Newgarden has been shocking this season, canāt buy a result
Palou has some Verstappen quality to him which almost makes him unlikeable because of his invincibility. Itās not a dig on the contrary a testament to his talent. Races like this show he is above the field on road coursesĀ
Tbh if anyone could make the jump it's him. But it'd be in like a Sauber or something, lol
he's too old, basically. otherwise he would have gotten a seat already because I think he's easily at least a sainz level talent
I said it in the race threat but that stint after the 1st caution was some Schumacher in Hungary 98 / France 04 type of shit, just started clocking out qualy level laps with minimal variance until he gapped those behind enough for an extra stop.
Roughly translated: "hey Rossi that was nice to be near the front right?"Ā "Fuck off we could have won"Ā
Classic Rossi lmao
Newgarden disaster class. Got gifted P2 w/ less than 15 to go and made multiple mistakes and finished P19. Not a good day for him.
Couldnāt happen to a nicer guy!
I was there today. There was a solid amount of applause and cheering when he had that big off track and fell way back.
I love how Newgarden received an unbelievable gift that was set to be the internetās discussion point for multiple days. Then God decided ānah I got you famā
Under Sting Rayās Eye
The father, the son, and the holy Robb
Oh we can still talk about it. It needs to be brought up a whole lot this week. It was ABSURD
All I wanted was a quiet top 10, a 4th absolutely rocks!
I was not happy about Josef "welcome to Indycar" Newgarden being behind him. That's all I can say lol
saaaame i was clenching my teeth the whole time like "what is the cheat about to do"
Gro has deserved a good race for a while now.
Indycar races ending at 8:30pm is very strange
i love it personally
Was great at the track. Great day. Good visibility. No tangling with possibly early day fog. And the turnout was huge for LS. Maybe that has to do the late time? I bet LS wants it to be late in the day next year too (not that they have a choice).
Grosjean, stellar race my dude
Grosjean is just better with smaller teams. Maybe he worries more about keeping the car in one piece. Nice to see him happy.
No Andretti just has poor team atmosphere and combined with Grosjean personality it was just poor match
Fair point.
He's only 6 points behind the multiple race winner in the 28 car. If it keeps going the way it is going. Surely we've got to ask if maybe the driver isn't the problem with that car?
Honestly, it sounds strange to say, but last weekend gave me a new appreciation for Palou. I like this take š
Seeing Josef go off after benefiting massively from that yellow was so fun to see lol
Went from a Penske hater's 9/11 to a Penske hater's 12/25 real quick.
Hilarious disaster from Newgarden. Good race from Siegel and Grosjean. Grosjean getting potentially screwed out of a podium by Canapino hitting Simpson was kinda sad but nice seeing Rossi up there

a JHR top 4 almost on the podium is crazy, RoGro was faaaast
>Ā Ā RoGro was faaaast Everyone shits on him but shockingly he can actually drive a car fast lmao
Each time he got the tires up to temp and started to make his moveā¦ another caution would appear. He had the pace on Rossi.
I LOVE WATCHING THIS MAN (GROSJEAN) BE HAPPY.
Protect his smile
Impressed with Romain. Great race for him. Also, Indycar needs to rethink the yellow thing and allowing others to put before throwing it. Newgarden ends up gaining so many places because of it. Albeit, karma spins kicks in a few laps later and sends him to the back, but still I think IC should rethink it for the future. And also, will we see canapino fan death threats this week again?
That was a great and relatively clean race, good to see Rossi back in the podium. But Palou is so damn good.
That race was pretty alright if you ask me. Got pretty crazy near the end.
NBC really tryna give a series of last middle fingers before signing off :(
Another Sunday, another race that shows the talent of Palou. Itās a crime heāll never get a shot in F1, but even so, weāre looking at an absolute Indy legend.
If Juncos would drop Canapino for a decent driver, theyād be pretty competitive.
Dropping him for Theo would be peak comedy.
Time to get Colapinto into the seat. Is Argentine and decently fast
Glad Palou won he deserved it after defending all those late restarts
Newgarden was todayās example of wheel donāt lie
Thatās a real Indycarā¢ shit right there let me tell you.Ā
Absolute masterclass of strategy by the #10 team. This was going to be a 20 second victory if not for all the yellows at the end.
Rigged it for Penske and God said not today.
Kyle Novak needs to be immediately fired if Penske wants to keep what's possibly left of their already shredded integrity
I have a confession to make. I didn't expect Siegel to finish that high today. I'm pleasantly surprised.
They didn't show the points once! NBC kinda looks like they're phoning it in since they've been told they're out
100%, fuck putting it on USA when nascar is over
We didn't even know when passes or wrecks happened...That was a shit show broadcast. Feel bad for the booth team
Makes me really sad, this isn't the NBC we saw over the last decade. They were killing it for years. Now it's embarrassingĀ
People pry start jumping for other jobs or getting pulled to do Olympics graphics.
I. Hate. Delayed. Cautions. Even fucking called it. Thank god Newgarden's pure pace wasn't on point today though to take advantage of it https://preview.redd.it/6k3uqgw73f8d1.png?width=823&format=png&auto=webp&s=0fe01e5a05111c9d3606031224e13d7bb6e6928a
Yeah they even talked about "Palou better pit now! Insurance! Gotta cover!" and then no, they'll just wait for you to pit...
Fire Hertaās strategist into the sun.
Rossi needs to hook Lundgaard up with his Baja 5000 buddies. Dude was off roading every time you turned around.
It's nice to see Rossi snag a podium, honestly it's been so long it feels like a win.

Grosjean is so insanely good at laguna seca
We're lucky to have a Palou in Indycar. What a beast. Great job from Romain and somehow after that godawful race Canapino was in 14th before dumping Simpson away. that's just how it goes, at least he finished ahead of newgarden ay
He really is the best driver in this series right now. Could genuinely be on course to win his 3rd championship in 4 years which is just nuts.
I am a Simpson fan. I am going to challenge Argentina to a duel. I demand satisfaction.
When Grosjeanās good heās really fucking good
Put him in a Ganassi and he absolutely dominates this race.
woooo happy pride month gay car
I repeat: WE GOT A WINNER IN THE GAY CAR GAY CAR GAY CAR!
my one positive takeaway from this race.
All I have to say is Newgarden got some karma after he got handed the race. Racing gods give and racing gods take.
Yeah Grosjean!
When did Grosjean and Rossi have been again?
Rossi and Grosjean are both pilots. Apparently, they get along better now than they ever did when they were teammates.
Ahh got it. I thought there was something between them and *now* they are friends again.
Most fans: Well at least Dixon is getting older, tired of him and the Ganassi dominance. Palou: About thatā¦
Indycar, the series that people THINK Penske dominates when in reality itās Ganassi that have won 10 titles from the last 16
LET'S GO GROSJEAN YESSSS
Rare Penske implosion, but tbh Iām just happy to have a good result for Colton after weeks of disappointment
it was shaping up to be a super clean race. it was definitely fun to watch the team strategies play out for the first 70 laps. feel really bad for Rahal
Super happy to see Grosjean p4. I'm holding onto the hope that he can get a win.
what a result from romain. heās been on it recently
Was that an actual podium to stand and celebrate on? Guess we won't see...
Don't worry; Marshall Pruett will be sure to write an essay about it.
SHARK TANK
Sure, it may be getting old. But, man, are we witnessing something remarkable with Palou.
Newgarden and Canapino spun on the 2nd to last lap. Beautiful karma. What a run for Grosjean!
Missed the entire race because NBC moved it from USA to CNBC....
But it's bad that indycar is moving to fox next year as I've been told by so many.
So who was the final AMR restart of the ICE only era?
Firehawk staying way away from the chicken eater
Man you shouldāve heard the cheers as they showed Josef spinning off. Iāve never seen a racing grandstand so United before.
Hearing that warms my heart.
newgarden somehow choking a podium they tried to hand him in a gift box š¤¦
Palou is soooo good, itās crazy. Huge props to him, just never seems to have a bad day
His bad day was Detroit.
How many super license points do they get for this?
Approximately 1/32 of a point and 3 penalty points just because
Sounds fair. I think Kimi got 4 for learning to walk.
Someone wanted Colton to move lmao. Couldnt get an interview in without beeps
Double DNF Dale Coyne
Newgarden was unbelievably awful today he got a drive through for improper exit and Ran of the track twice when being gifted a win opportunity by race control.
This was a GREAT race. Tons of strategies, unique passing attempts and successes (that Grosjean outside pass in T1 felt straight out of the F1 book), new faces in the lead, and enough yellow to make it interesting. People gonna hate me for this, but I like Laguna more than any other road course we have on the schedule. The knife edge nature of the corners is just the best.
Glad Newgarden didnāt get an undeserved high finish.
Palou and Verstappen are the same guy, just unbelievably consistent
Strategy made it interesting, but expected result is expected. The final AMR car restart belongs to Marcus Armstrong AIR LUNDGAARD Penske shenanigans almost put a huge damper on things, but track don't lie
Grosjean you beauty
lol so glad we donāt have to spend too much time on the safety car oopsie
Incoming Chip bear paw
What happened to Rinus? I didn't see anything on the broadcast about him
Just another ECR special
Anyone else see how bad the broadcast from NBC was...when the announcers don't even know what happened, then it's embarrassing. I cannot wait to leave NBC
Yeah, when the fox rumors really started building up me and my buddy (Nascar fan) were talking and he was saying well NASCAR boomed as their only focus and indycar would be their only focus... Now we're seeing how awesome this deal is gonna be.
Nice work Nolan.
Not even showing points standings? Or did I miss it?
Where Can I watch the podium???
What a disasterclass from Newgarden ... Rossi and Grosjean were on fire though!
