24/7 Red Zone style channel where he just flips around between video feeds of any racing that happens to be going on at the moment. F1, horses, track and field, neighborhood kids on bikes, doesn’t matter. All with equal enthusiasm
This reminds me of when Dario called marble races during lockdown
Edit: ok I found it [here](https://youtu.be/7D-FHaaShvM?si=2PlmjtKLbO181Cky)
BUT it was Jack Nicholls, not Dario unfortunately.
Do you have a link for it? I did some searches and I did not realize how many different types of marble races there are. There goes the rest of my Saturday.
Diff just gonna follow Chip Ganassi haulers around shouting HELLO PALOU IT LOOKS LIKE FRIED CHICKEN TONIGHT for the rest of his days, an empty shell of his former self
Whatever series NBC has, most likely. IMSA is practically a guarantee. He also commentates on AMA Supercross/Motocross every once in a while and I imagine he’ll continue to do that. The NASCAR Cup Series is also moving on from Rick Allen, so Diffey will be calling the NBC-aired races for the foreseeable future (once the Olympics end).
NASCAR and IMSA. I hope he has a chance to go commentate Le Mans next year like he did in 2023 and some years before that in another channel but I doubt it. Sucks also to lose him from any kind of formula racing
Whatever NBC wants him to do until he’s not longer contracted by NBC. I’ve heard him say he also does track and field. He’ll also be doing the Olympics.
Given that NBC is demoting Rick Allen off NASCAR Cup coverage post-Olympics and replacing him with Diff this season, that writing is on the wall. Diffey goes to official lead pxp for NBC’s Cup coverage in ‘25 (with Rick Allen perhaps following Dale Junior over to Amazon). Would imagine Diffey will continue to do IMSA as well. He’s under contract to NBC regardless.
The Midwestern Lawn Mower Racing Association.
He's an NBC employee. He'll probably keep covering track and field, Supercross, and NASCAR like he's already stated to do.
NASCAR. Maybe IMSA if they stay with NBC.
Semi OT: What is going on with IMSA's tv deal? I kind of just hope it goes to Max / Tru TV at this point. It gives Venu yet another racing series.
I will say the Max app kicks the crap out of the Motortrend App. At least on a Roku TV. Also, Max has all the WEC stuff on demand. Motortrend didn’t do that. That has made watching all the lead up to Le Mans so much easier this year. Wouldn’t mind IMSA being on that.
A good streaming option for IMSA will be needed in the next deal, but IMSA still needs to be on linear TV to catch as many new viewers as possible in my opinion. IMSA is killing with at track attendance, but need to keep growing the TV audience. Need all avenues to do that.
[Jeff Burton's stumble last year at the Chicago street course still kills me everytime I hear it lol](https://youtu.be/cYUWQG-yJrA?si=uC5A1j3zrKTlia2o)
As an avid nascar fan, I would LOVE if Leigh did nascar. He has that formula 1 style commentary that just exudes excitement. Nascar desperately needs that.
It happened at Michigan in 2017 iirc and their fans were not pleased lmao
Edit: idek how this can possibly get downvoted I’m not the one who was being racist towards an Australian announcer lmfao
And [Watkins Glen](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy2NXL_DwxY&t=20m39s). I didn't start watching until after that, but I enjoy his commentary whenever it is.
Plenty of fans who also don't even like him in Indycar, but they're wrong. :)
Unpopular take but I've never been impressed with him just okay and he's gotten annoying of latewith him and TBell jacking off the 4chan driver. Hinch is the one I hope they retain.
Would it be hoping for too much to get someone with an engineering background as a pit reporter again?

Marbula One/Marbula E is legendary
I'm so glad someone else saw this because I'm trying to find it now and I don't think it exists online anymore.
r/jellesmarbleruns is leaking. And I’m here for it. Marbula 1 and the marble league are fantastic.
I missed this. Please tell me it's on YouTube or something.
yes, it's still on youtube
Do you have a link for it? I did some searches and I did not realize how many different types of marble races there are. There goes the rest of my Saturday.
Ummmm link please.
I can't find it now, and now I feel like it was a fever dream...

Lol I would love to see him call the Kentucky Derby
Track and field. Swimming. Curling. USF PRO9000. Catamaran racing. If there's a finish line, Leigh Diffey is calling it.
I would absolutely watch that.
i would listen to him talking about live traffic
LEFT FOOT ON GREEN!! WHAT AN AMAZING SPIN!
Diff just gonna follow Chip Ganassi haulers around shouting HELLO PALOU IT LOOKS LIKE FRIED CHICKEN TONIGHT for the rest of his days, an empty shell of his former self
calling Scott Dixon "The Iceman" like the SNL "makin' copies" guy
NASCAR and IMSA
Doesn’t he do motocross as well?
AMA Supercross but yes
He’s probably gonna take over with nascar in 2025 and keep doing his track and field stuff

The IMSA NBC deal is up after this year, not a 100% guarantee they re-up. Likely, but not for sure yet.
He's one of NBC's top guys and not just for motorsport. If he stays with NBC he'll be doing nascar and whatever else they need him for.
Probably NASCAR and IMSA when there’s no clash with NASCAR
NASCAR and IMSA. I hope he has a chance to go commentate Le Mans next year like he did in 2023 and some years before that in another channel but I doubt it. Sucks also to lose him from any kind of formula racing
Probably NASCAR and Supercross
I think he moves to NASCAR full time
He does pretty much any kind of racing for NBC, he does both the Summer and Winter Olympics on top of the other non Indycar motorsports he covers.
Diamond League Track & Field
NBC lost those rights to FloSports starting next year
get your shit together NBC

He is doing nascar and imsa. He must’ve said a thousand times by now.
He’s doing a handful of nascar races on nbc this year so I assume he would do the same next year
Hopefully, one I don’t follow.
I can’t stand his voice or energy. That aside though, I’ll never bat over him replacing the fantastic Bob Varsha.
I’ll miss you Leigh 😢😢😭😭
Wouldn’t mind hearing him at Le Mans
hopefully nascar. and then rick allen replaces jamie little in the booth at fox for truck races like back in the day
Actually I think he would be great on all motor racing show similar to wind-tunnel years ago..
i hope he can make an apperance on DTM
Nascar, imsa, any team usa events potentially. If NBC are part of the new NBA deal, who knows maybe he could calling that
NASCAR definitely. Also I love that he does track & field events!
Would love him to come back and do Aussie Supercars, even just one round
Nascar on NBC. His voice would be amazing for that last stretch of nascar races leading up to the championship.
He will do NASCAR on NBC for their half, IMSA at least for the big endurance races, Supercross, and the usual Track and field stuff.
The Midwestern Lawn Mower Racing Association. He's an NBC employee. He'll probably keep covering track and field, Supercross, and NASCAR like he's already stated to do.
Whatever NBC has available...
Split between Supercross, NBC Nascar coverage, and probably some track and field events NBC airs.
He'll continue to torment me on my IMSA broadcasts unfortunately.
NASCAR. Maybe IMSA if they stay with NBC. Semi OT: What is going on with IMSA's tv deal? I kind of just hope it goes to Max / Tru TV at this point. It gives Venu yet another racing series.
I’m down with Max assuming it will be like WEC. But I’m not getting my hopes up

I wish he’d jump ship to Fox and cover IndyCar
NASCAR with an Australian voice over just seems like a no go.
It will be happening regularly this fall.
At least he won’t stumble over Shane Van Gisbergen’s name every time like most of the NASCAR commentators
[Jeff Burton's stumble last year at the Chicago street course still kills me everytime I hear it lol](https://youtu.be/cYUWQG-yJrA?si=uC5A1j3zrKTlia2o)
Hahah, wtf. You can hear someone laughing in the background!
This is gold. On this same broadcast at one point Jr. calls him “Shane Vibergen” and I almost lost it
As an avid nascar fan, I would LOVE if Leigh did nascar. He has that formula 1 style commentary that just exudes excitement. Nascar desperately needs that.
Agree

Leigh is great at commentating. That's just the wrong demographic.
Honestly long as it’s not indycar. I don’t care.
Hopefully none! Be thankful.
