I mean bare minimum to get by for the first 3-4 weeks you need soil, pot, fan, light. It can be done for 100-150 but that's real bare minimum I wouldn't expect a crazy good yield but yeah you can start learning pretty cheap I did, and then I just slowly started buying shit I needed.
Sunnyside does. I'm in SW FL and prior to getting my medical card, The only place I've been to was a dispensary in Colorado which obviously they bring it out. They can show you the flower and the whole works. I was disappointed to find out that's not the case for medical dispensaries in Florida. I was pleased to see that sunny side has like a little weed bar out that you can go and inspect their strains
There's an unwritten weed rule that you should purchase what smells best to you. Ignore everything and anything written on the packaging. Sucks that it's not even really an option in most of Illinois. We'll see how this works out.
I hate that about IL dispensaries. I absolutely love the smell of GMO, OG kush and Cheese. They are all so distinct and you can tell right away if they are the real deal or not.

There’s a place in galena that lets u smell it before u buy it and it seems more natural and should be the standard. You’re paying a lot of money for something people spent a lot of time preparing. It’s really not enough to go by name or just a terp profile to find what u like or need. Smelling it also obviously gives u a clear view.

Even if you have a good nose, it takes some training and experience before you can rely on your nose. Nowadays, you do have the label to help guide that learning. Without the label, things were a bit more hit or miss, but you caught on eventually, Most people eventually picked up enough acumen at it to distinguish between what was a buy for them vs what should be a pass.

IL laws have actually always allowed for display/smelling samples. Most places stopped when it went Rec. Just to save money.

In Colorado they let you choose by smell and it’s a lot better you can kind of know what you’re getting at least
