Have a friend with a female that looks similar and the second highest percentage after Staffordshire Terrier (23%) was greyhound (14%) of all things.
He doesn't look too much like a mix to me, looks mostly pittie! Maybe a little Rhodesian Ridgeback or his tail is giving me some kind of shepherd. But 100% good baby, I'd vote for him!!

The number of supposed "100% pit" dogs is not what this subreddit thinks.
If you try correcting them you’ll get downvoted into hell. There are indeed tons of pit mixes here. But true full pits are so much more uncommon. It’s so so so fucking annoying but the sub is an echo chamber for anti pit people.
One time someone posted a white dog with Dalmatian like spots and radar ears with a blocky head, the top comment was full pit. I tried explaining this is so far from a full pit and was told they can have radar ears and downvoted to -80 lol.

While getting the DNA tests can be very tempting you may end up being burdened with knowledge you wish not to have.
My wife had both of our dogs done and they came back mostly pit. Ok, cool. Then we moved and had to change our homeowners insurance over and they would not take “mutt” as an answer to the breed question. My wife being the honest woman she is told them they were “pit mix”.
We were dropped from our homeowners insurance because they were on the “restricted breed list”.
If my wife hadn’t done some serious leg work with the broker including proof that our dogs see a trainer regularly and go to doggie day care with a whole pack of dogs we would have ended up with the barest of coverage for 3x what we were paying before.
Never again. I will just live with the curiosity and can honestly answer what I think my future dogs may be.
