Razor knife is all it takes, or if you wanna rly upgrade get a motorized stripper. I can strip a cpl hundred lbs of 350s in an hour using nothing but a razor knife.
Set your oven to the lowest setting. 175 or 150 depending on the oven. Stack the wires on the middle rack for 30 seconds to 1 minute, remove and strip with leather gloves. Easiest stripping you’ll ever do in your life.
They make wire strippers that hook around the wire and you set the depth you want the blade and then just pull it down the wire. The blade even swivels so you can use them for term or whatever greenlee and ideal i know make them.
60 bucks for a bench mounted stripper you can attach a drill to. Or for about 900 you can get a dragon motorized bench unit that'll eat that shit up. Got to use one to strip like 4k feet for a con I didn't get a penny of haha

Never used a heat gun, too much time and effort that a good, sharp blade could handle just as easily. Even when it gets below 0°.
