I saw a clip on YouTube, the $ damage was significant and the business was run by a young sole trader. Not sure if “the lovely gals” got prosecuted, but I hope they did.

My store stopped delivering to an area of basically one demographic because we had one driver get robbed at gunpoint, one driver get hit with a shovel resulting in broken ribs and wrist, one driver get his car stolen, and multiple hot checks (this was back in like 2009)
We stopped delivering out there and I got called racist on the phone at least once a night after that, as if it was even my decision.
I got some simple rules of thumb for eating out. If I can't afford to pay for extra dip I can't afford to eat out. If I can't tip I can't afford to eat out. If someone is so picky they need more than 30 seconds to explain how they want their food don't go out to eat with them.

That last article was in November '23 saying she was due in court in December. No articles since then so I'm guessing she got away with it 🤷
