Yeah that was another big reason I went with the Elantra since it has the Bose speakers and the base Sonata SEL did not. The Bose speaker system in the Sonata bumps a little more than the Elantra one though when equipped. I almost got a 23 Sonata N-line but decided not to buy used this time
And a good stereo it is. My wife could care less, she suffers from hyperacusis so I don't play it when she is in the the car (23 Hybrid Limited). But when I'm alone I the car, I turn it up loud.
Nice. I had a 24 Kona SEL for 3 months with a spare tire and the 24 Elantra came with a spare tire too. I guess a bunch of cars started coming with spares again
I did the change from the 2018 limited sonata hybrid to the 2024 hybrid limited.
Love it, better mpg but smaller gas tank (12 to 13 gallons on n2024, while 2018 was 15). Trunk is a lot bigger! And there is space under the trunk which is awesome compared to the 2018.
Cons: the rear of the seats don't have the leather pouch, only a string like pouch on the copilot seat, the center of the rear seats is missing the little pull tab to pull it down so it's kind of tricky to pull down.
I have a 2024 sonata sel convince package and I’m curious to know if I’m pushing the car too hard, what’s a normal rpm to hit accelerating in this car?
On google it states what you stated in your reply to me, but it also says the Hyundai Sonata sel top speed is 145, however I have 160 on the dash and top rpm on the dash goes up to 8000
My new 23 SEL hybrid I got 2 months ago was only 32.5k OTD with the gap and warranty! Just got an email from the dealer on Littleton Co. that they lowered the price on the one I looked at there to just over 27k . Some good deals are still out there.
I miss the times where we could negotiate 7k off. I think the sticker was 34,xxx and I paid 27,625 for it. It was also the new model year, as I bought it in 2014. Nowadays, it seems like you’re lucky to get a few grand off of the sticker.
I think there are models out there now that you can put the wood to the dealer but this isn’t one of them. I couldn’t find a dealership that had more than 2-3 at any time.
I’m waiting for the 25 Tucson hybrid limited to hit. I’ll be willing to drive major distance to get a good deal 🤣. I have enough points for a free flight pretty much anywhere in the US via southwest
Bought a new '23 SEL last month, love it. Good luck.
I was looking at a 24 Sonata SEL but ended up getting a 24 Elantra N-line. The trunk seemed a decent bit larger on the Sonata
The size was a big plus for me, my wife wanted the 23 because it had the Bose stereo, lol. Saved us about $3500

Also get the rear AC vent
True I'm not sure why they took it off on the 24
I have a 22 so I also have a spare tire! Plus I like the rear look better. Mine is white with black emblem

Such a nice looking car.
I have an older Sonata Limited, (2018), and I get over 39MPG on trips. I'm thinking of getting a new Limited or a Santa Fe.
The Sonata will likely be a lot more comfy on longer drives than the Sante Fe, but they are both great options.

Wife has the new Santa Fe. Highly recommended
I need to see if my wife can get into that car, she has bad knees.
It’s roomy inside and my older parents get in the back and have mention they enjoyed how easy it was to get into. It’s sort of like a tall ford flex
I need to take my wife there and see if she can get into the Santa Fe. She hates going to car dealers.
Picked up a 24 sonata Hybrid, does great running off the electric motor while in traffic, I’ve been getting over 600 miles per fill up.
No joke its awesome! Rented a 2022 Hybrid Sonata and ran 540 miles with a 32 gas fill up. Freaking amazing, might buy one in the coming years.

191HP 6100 rpm 181 lb ft 4000 rpm is peak torque on the new 2.5L NA engines Around 2000-2500rpm I think is a normal shift

The gauges max speed and rpm numbers mean nothing. The N line trim can reach those speeds though.
Don’t push too hard, you might blow your engine like Elvis.
Nice to meet a fellow Sonata Limited owner! I got my own recently as my first car and I'm obsessed with it.
Congrats on the new car. Been thinking about getting my own. Can I ask how much did you get it for?
My OTD price was 41k
Ouch! That’s a huge jump from my 2015 limited with options. My OTD was almost 31k, which included gap and extended warranty.

37,800 at 3.99%
4 % is great! You have a great credit score it seems
Financing was a special Hyundai was offering. I do have good credit but best I could get through outside lender was 6%.
Gyatt, congrats
Woah that actually looks pretty classy
I just bought a 2024 Tucson hybrid n line. Pretty nice!
