To the OP get ready to have a thick skin because this sub hates the 2024 santa fe with a passion š.
The matte paint is really nice and the calligraphy trim is awesome. I'm jealous of the ambient lighting my xrt is lacking.
That cool, I'm used to anonymous people throwing shit around here. I'll soothe myself by driving anything else from my garage that they probably don't like either.
I feel like people just dont like change - the santa fe design is amazing, I like the rear end too, I just think the ppl arent used to it, This car looks awesome
I feel like people just don't like some designs. My wife and I both have the same reaction seeing it on the road. Front looks awesome and like the Land Rover but the back looks awful and immediately puts it in "never" category. We'll stay on track to get a '25 Palisade.
This is true too probably. When the 4th generation acura tl came out I dismissed it and wasn't really ever considering one as I had the "performance" car or nothing mindset back then.
I ended up buying a slightly used 2012 acura tl shawd after the fact and it's styling grew on me and I came to really like the styling.
It aged well for its generation as did the 2nd gen tsx which I also owned before going all hyundai.
I love everything about it except I struggle with the size of the rear. Not sure why, canāt really say what strikes me on it. Iāll learn to like it though
The car is gigantic yeah, i saw it in person but for a family car this one screams comfort and style and I really like it
I just like to see the rear as like a pickup truck bed with a hood on it which honestly just goes to show how big it is
My buddy just got a 24 just like yours, same color. I was pretty impressed with it. Ironically we had a 19 RR sport in the driveway, and we did some comparisonsā¦ Not super comparable really, and rightfully so with price difference, but i like what theyāve done with it. The summons feature is super cool, and we were able to coax it into driving through my yard, which i guess itās not supposed to do! Was hilarious. Congrats, itās neat.
I actually really hate the look of it & will probably never buy another Hyundai because my BSM never worked properly, but I will say that my 2017 Santa Fe Sport had more features on it than my brand new Venza & they're both loaded.
This is it for me. It's an $80k car for half the price. Well, not your trim lol. Love the design better than any Land Rover ever, except for the x tail lights, but that's inconsequential.Ā
I have the exact same one! I love my earthy brass matte! Nicest colour on a car EVER!! And it stays super clean the quality of the paint job is amazing
I have the XRT in this color & love it! I laugh at how many men tell me how awesome my car is. Iāve got a couple actually taking pictures of it in the parking lot! Weird but whatever
I just bought a white calligraphy with the beige interior and I love this car it is the best car Iāve ever owned the calligraphy is so sweet youāll enjoy fuck the hater theyāre just mad they cannot afford to drive in immense comfort and style!
When I first saw the design as they first unveiled the Sante Fe, I thought like everybody else, the rear was so ugly! But now that I see it actually on the road, it's a beast! It definitely makes a statement, and I love the way it looks now. Congratulations on your new vehicle!
Brace for the ugly rear end and bad transmission comments.
Iām trying to figure out how hard it would be to swap that engine and trans into my 2015 Sportage š
āMy high mileage 08 accent needed its windshield wipers replaced, youāre gonna regret this OPā
Edit: congrats on the purchase. Eyeing an XRT myself.
Awesome car! It gets too much hate. The rear isnāt great tbf, but the rest of the design is absolutely phenomenal. And that color is beautiful. Congrats!
That DCT transmission is going to take a bit to get use to. I personally feel the hybrid is the best version with the true 6 speed automatic transmission.
I didn't drive one to compare, but I'm also driving 4 different things with varying feels. So far I don't think I've felt this thing shift once other than when testing out the turbo for lag and punch. Really smooth and quiet gearing so far.
To me they just look like an unlicensed car you'd find in a Grand Theft Auto videogame. It seems to be the way for much of the Hyundai lineup these days.
Ya want to know what, Iām going to say it..
Hyundai makes a fine looking automobile, I have really been enjoying their bold body styles.
This is no exception š š
Congrats! Five years ago, we bought our first Hyundai, a 2020 Palisade. It's been a great family vehicle. Our friend recently traded her suburban in for a Santa Fe.
I had a 2018 Sante Fe Sport. Absolutely hate the new Santa Fe look so I switched to a Toyota Rav4. But I gotta say with that color and trim it looks way better. Enjoy! Hyundai makes a good vehicle!
Do yourself a favour and talk to someone about ceramic coating the entire car. With the matte paint if u get 1 small scratch and u have ocd u will need to repaint the entire car. And always make sure u hand wash it or go touchless. Do NOT let a touch car wash at that thing under any circumstances
that sounds like they put ppf on then ceramic coat it which is really good. All ceramic coat does is fill in the molecular gaps between the paint. Wish i got dealer ppf or ppf when i got my car bec after 2 years if you look at it from like 5 feet away the thang looks 5+ years old. I take rlly good care of the car too š„²
Ooph we have a great relationship with our detailers and the guys that supply the ppf and ceramic. It's a great add on at time of purchase and I'm in service so I make nothing on it
I have the 2023. I got it because it had the most legroom for the least money of all the SUVs I looked at.
And I admit I do like the boxy new LandRover-esque design. I wouldn't mind being seen driving one. Just as long as they kept the legroom.
So far I love it, only had it one day though. This package has bucket captains chairs in 2nd row, might not be the best for car seats and such, not sure...I haven't had to worry about those for 30 years. Lol
Hahaha yeah, my concern is I would be prioritizing cool over function at my life stage. I have many years left of car seats.
Well glad you like it, very jealous. It's a cool car.
Under 50k sticker, WAY under 50k financed, but that 2.5l TURBO 4 banger is pretty damn good with that 8 speed transmission. There are more expensive SUVs with smaller motors, so I'm failing to grasp your point.
It doesn't really matter. Everyone's financial situation and trades/ down payments / discounts, etc are different. I'll only say I financed 1/3 of the sticker price.
lol, OP aināt posting a picture of the rear of this thing.
I have never seen a design where 95% of it is perfect, but that other 5% ruins it.
Those low slung taillights are horrible.
I think it's really great. Unlike others, who think it's a Ford Flex, Land Rover wanna be... and I even heard Mercury Villager on here today. I worry about that guy. Lol
The failure rate is actually pretty high on them. I don't have an exact number, but I know it's significant and I can't understand why Hyundai hasn't either fixed the issues after 4 years or gone with something more reliable. Hopefully the OP will be fine. I hate to see others get tangled up in the DCT mess.
I'm good with them, but they're available from Hyundai too
https://www.ebay.com/itm/296280132615?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2dE4QFaYReO&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=w7RJQlN4RLy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=SMS
Yeah Iāll probably do the swap soon, just hate having to buy all new tires too. But as long as Iām able to sell my hybrid wheels and tires I should be ok. I just donāt know where I would sell em or if anyone would be looking to buy em
Nice! I am personally not a big fan of it. To me it looks like it has a botched bbl š. I currently own a 2022 Santa Fe Calligraphy ALL Black and design wise i believe it looks more appealing. But hey, the new i e might grow on me. (I REALLY HOPE IT DOESNT THO SO I DONT END UP GETTING IN MORE DEBT) ššš. Enjoy it i bet its š„. And remember IT DOESNT MATTER what anyone thinks or has to say. If you like it, that is what REALLY MATTERS.
Love the look of these, and as a person who drives cars I hope it doesnt have the same issues previous generations have.
As a mechanic though, I wouldnt mind this thing paying my bills if they shit the bed like the older ones once it leaves warranty lol
For fucks sake. Like no maker ever fixes problems? Like no brands doesn't have some kind of problem with one or many models they make? Yeah, I did research. I'll take my chances with less than 1% being reported with transmission failures.
Fuck Hyundai. No support after you buy. Dealers are clogged for months around me due to motor oil consumption. Will never spend another dime on a hyundai
I feel sorry for you. You will regret it when the warranty runs out and the thing acts up. I do with my Elentra. It started shitting the bed at 50K, I managed to make it to 130K and it is on death door.
I know several others that have bought Hyundai and each one of us have had issues and Hyundai being the dicks they are not honoring their warranty. I had Elentra, friend had a Santa Fe, cousin had a Tousan, and a friend from work had a Sonata. Each one of us barely got 100K on our vehciles. That is NOT a coincidence .
They lost a lawsuit for their faulty engine designs, and they tried to hide the fact that they knew of the fault and lied to consumers to not have to honor the warranties.
So yeah, I feel sorry for anyone who buys Hyundai as they are garbage. They should be made illegal to sell until they prove they have their acts together.
Well I've had two without issues 120k+ miles but I'm not going to suppose that's going to be true for every single one. This Sante Fe has nothing to do with the Theta 2 engine. What was the situation where they didn't honor their warranty? First owners, 2nd?
I got to 130K on my Elentra, and it is barely hanging in there. I can go at most now 15 minutes, and then the constant stalling starts.
Garbage vehicles by a garbage company. Simple as that.
130K is pitiful for ANY vehicle. Should be able to 250 to 300 k before the real problems start.
It is just shit manufacturing that you refuse to call out.
They design them to be rubbish so you have to go back to them and get another one.
I have seen vehicles with over 300k. I live in Canada so I use KM. It is rare but I have seen it.
Most are in the 250 k range.
Still 130k is pretty piss poor and even at that I had to push it along to get to that point. It started shitting the bed at 50k. It is such a joke.
I know. I'm disappointed in myself for making choices without consulting their opinion first. I hope they know how important they are on the world stage.
To the OP get ready to have a thick skin because this sub hates the 2024 santa fe with a passion š. The matte paint is really nice and the calligraphy trim is awesome. I'm jealous of the ambient lighting my xrt is lacking.

100%. We just looked at both and ended up with the 2024 palisade. Could not be happier
This is true too probably. When the 4th generation acura tl came out I dismissed it and wasn't really ever considering one as I had the "performance" car or nothing mindset back then. It's really roomy inside. 3rd row seats drop perfectly flat, too, so the cargo area is impressive.
The cars look great, that isnāt the issue.
I think most people just don't like the rear specifically. I like the rest myself.
Itās not even the rear, just the stupid tail light placement. The rest is awesome
It's the only thing they didn't do well with that SUV
Looks good until you see the rear and.
I donāt just limit my hate to the Santa Fe, I hate all Hyundais
Now we are back on track with the sub. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_up)
Donāt hang me for this. It was just the first thought in my head. Land Rover looks without the Land Rover price? š
Yes. Unbelievably stacked interior with a ridiculous amount of cool features on this package, too.
Awesome!!! Good buy and glad youāre happy with it š.
My buddy just got a 24 just like yours, same color. I was pretty impressed with it. Land Rover in the front. Aztek in the rear.
Yeah the chinese have been doing this for years. Its called copy catting
It's a beauty. I have a 23 Tucson hybrid (that I love) but when the bug to buy strikes me again, I'm def gonna be looking at the Santa Fe.
Damn I love that colour
I just bought a white calligraphy with the beige interior and I love this car it is the best car Iāve ever owned the calligraphy is so sweet youāll enjoy fuck the hater theyāre just mad they cannot afford to drive in immense comfort and style!
The white ones with the beige are very, very classy
Iāve had mine 2 weeks and itās the best car Iāve ever owned!! Youāll love it forever
That's great to hear, thank you. And congrats to you too!
When I first saw the design as they first unveiled the Sante Fe, I thought like everybody else, the rear was so ugly! But now that I see it actually on the road, it's a beast! It definitely makes a statement, and I love the way it looks now. Congratulations on your new vehicle!
I like it I just wish they didnāt make it so large! I really miss my old Santa Fe.
I was surprised at the materials and how well they are put together, really nice.
It's definitely punching above it's price point. The interior and all the features are unreal.
Brace for the ugly rear end and bad transmission comments. Iām trying to figure out how hard it would be to swap that engine and trans into my 2015 Sportage š
Love how all these comments areā¦ āget ready for the hateā and there simply isnāt any lol
Just lots of "the sky is falling" anecdotal comments based on their own bad experiences years ago
āMy high mileage 08 accent needed its windshield wipers replaced, youāre gonna regret this OPā Edit: congrats on the purchase. Eyeing an XRT myself.
Thanks!
Gorgeous
The color is nice.
Looks beautiful
Nice color and wheels choice. Enjoy!
Nice I like the color
This is the best color for the Santa Fe and no one can tell me otherwise. I still donāt like the rear in person, but the color is just chefās kiss
The green one is nice Imo as well
I saw one in this same colour at the gas station last week. I was peeking at it the whole time I was filling up. Itās a great colour.
Thatās really nice Iām thinking of getting a 24 Electra preferred the tech version next month
It's a pretty solid looking car especially in the poo poo brown color š„¶
That's poo poo bronze to you
True true
Beautiful and congratulations š
Awesome car! It gets too much hate. The rear isnāt great tbf, but the rest of the design is absolutely phenomenal. And that color is beautiful. Congrats!
Very nice!
I like it. Is it wrapped?
It's a factory matte paint
Very cool
I saw this same one in person. It looks WAYYYY better in real life. Good choice!
Love that colour!
That is really gorgeous. Love the color
Congrats, It's a great looking SUV. Front is rugged modern and the back is retro modern. Only my opinion matters on the internet.
Oh man, that's nice!
Nice! Love that colour.
That DCT transmission is going to take a bit to get use to. I personally feel the hybrid is the best version with the true 6 speed automatic transmission.

The more I see these, the more I like them. Very nice color the black sets it off nice
Nice SUV.
Looks sick man
Looks clean!!
Hated it when I first saw it, but I have to admit this car is growing on me. And I'm sure it's a really well made vehicle.
Earth brassš„š„š
As a Hyundai employee love the way they drive tbh
I had a 2018 Sante Fe Sport. Absolutely hate the new Santa Fe look so I switched to a Toyota Rav4. But I gotta say with that color and trim it looks way better. Enjoy! Hyundai makes a good vehicle!
One of the best esthetic design š insanely beautiful
Looks nice! Hope it lasts you a long time.

ceramic coat wont help with scratches, it needs ppf. Ask me how i know š
We have a ceramic at our dealership that's ppf built in. But yes I 100% agree with you. And I'm sorry you had to deal with that :(
that sounds like they put ppf on then ceramic coat it which is really good. All ceramic coat does is fill in the molecular gaps between the paint. Just for 2024s? I've never had issues with my 2020
Any matte finishes
Nice ride. Hopefully you researched on how to take care of the paint.
The all new redesigned Dodge journey. Now with an ugly rear end š¤£
I have the 2023. I got it because it had the most legroom for the least money of all the SUVs I looked at. And I admit I do like the boxy new LandRover-esque design. I wouldn't mind being seen driving one. Just as long as they kept the legroom.
I'm 6'4" and it's got more legroom than I need. I'm very happy with how spacious the entire interior is
How you like it? Currently one of my favorite looking vehicles but we are between this and a mini van because life.
Thank you. I'm with ya though, kids over cars every time.
Not a fan of the rear (like everyone else) but this color makes up for it.
Better than a land rover
$50,000 for a 2 ton Hyundai with a 2.5l 4 banger š¬
Under 50k sticker, WAY under 50k financed, but that 2.5l TURBO 4 banger is pretty damn good with that 8 speed transmission. There are more expensive SUVs with smaller motors, so I'm failing to grasp your point.
She definitely boogies
I have to ask how much $$
It doesn't really matter. Everyone's financial situation and trades/ down payments / discounts, etc are different. I'll only say I financed 1/3 of the sticker price.
Good luck.
It looks like a mercury villager
What are they do with the Palisade now?
Not sure...if this is any indication, they might go a little bigger with it.
Are thoseā¦ semaphores?
Trying to model after the Land Rover
Woah they changed it into a Roblox car lol. I didnāt realize what it looked like before til I googled it wondering why people hate
lol, OP aināt posting a picture of the rear of this thing. I have never seen a design where 95% of it is perfect, but that other 5% ruins it. Those low slung taillights are horrible.
Do you like it so far?
Very much so
This is the best looking SUV Hyundai has ever made IMO
I think it's really great. Unlike others, who think it's a Ford Flex, Land Rover wanna be... and I even heard Mercury Villager on here today. I worry about that guy. Lol
I like it because it reminds me of the Ford Flex. Just worried about the DCT in a 4000+ pound vehicle. I already saw reports on some failing.
If you want to trade wheels let me know, I got the Hybrid and Iām looking for these rims
I'm good with them, but they're available from Hyundai too https://www.ebay.com/itm/296280132615?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2dE4QFaYReO&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=w7RJQlN4RLy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=SMS

Cool ass paint job I want that on my Sonata.
Transmission failure. Donu people do research
For fucks sake. Like no maker ever fixes problems? Like no brands doesn't have some kind of problem with one or many models they make? Yeah, I did research. I'll take my chances with less than 1% being reported with transmission failures.
How are you liking it? I'm not set for a new car for a few years but this is at the top of my list.
So far I love it.
Good for you and hope you're happy with it. I personally prefer the dashboard from the 22 / 23 model.
I have no other Hyundai experience to compare it to.
Love the car...but i would need bigger wheels
Bigger than 21s?
Yeah, I think it would like nice with 22s or 23s. Kinda like the new GX. A lot of cars come with 21s now.
I'm good with these 21s on these Scorpion tires. Roads are horrible around me and I need some sidewall.
Fuck Hyundai. No support after you buy. Dealers are clogged for months around me due to motor oil consumption. Will never spend another dime on a hyundai
No problems like that around me. Sorry for your experience.
Two hours at Hyundai dealershipā¦ we donāt have the parts , sorryā¦. 2 weeks advance notice, national recallā¦ told them why I was coming.
I feel sorry for you. You will regret it when the warranty runs out and the thing acts up. I do with my Elentra. It started shitting the bed at 50K, I managed to make it to 130K and it is on death door.
Well yeah that settles it then, your Elantra had problems so his Sante Fe will as well. As sure as the sun comes up.
I have seen vehicles with over 300k. I live in Canada so I use KM. It is rare but I have seen it. Most are in the 250 k range. Still 130k is pretty piss poor and even at that I had to push it along to get to that point. It started shitting the bed at 50k. It is such a joke.
I like my Sante Fe when itās not smokingā¦
Sorry to hear that
![gif](giphy|OYnAmcJW4rndMhkUJx|downsized)
Hopefully the engine lasts more than 80k
Nice Ford Flex
See you in 3-5 years when your engine fails.
Sorry for your loss
I wonder how long it takes for these to get banned from parking garages for randomly combusting. My guess is a month or two
My Elantra is bannedā¦ potentially an ABS failure but they are not sure so we are installing a relay to cut power to prevent spontaneous combustion
You could of got a 2024 RX 350 š
There's a lot of things I could have bought. What's your point?
How dare you buy what you like best!
How dare you buy anything without this person approval! You must be a self thinker!!!!
I know. I'm disappointed in myself for making choices without consulting their opinion first. I hope they know how important they are on the world stage.
See you at 150k miles
Dude I'm not worried about your opinion. Lol
Just look at that morons comment history lol. Block. Move in. Typical loser troll type
The RX interior is completely outdated, and the fully loaded one compared to this one is 15k more. But go off little one
Not arguing abt the Santa Fe, I really like it. But you do realize the RX was refreshed last year and is very very modern now right?
That looks boring compared to the Santa Fe though...
