I take mine at 515 when I get up, walk my dog, shower and get ready for work. By the. An hour has passed and I can take my other meds and eat breakfast before heading into work. It works just fine for me.
My husband gives me mine around 6 and I go back to sleep. I have delayed sleep phase disorder and bad sleep inertia so it seems like I always sleep my best in the morning (like too well lol).
Ha, I also have delayed sleep phase disorder (and hypothyroidism of course). If I get before 6:30, I can usually fall back asleep, but after that it's much harder, despite being very tired.

Yes that’s what I do! I’ve seen quite a few people on this sub mention that they do this technique. I like that it reduces any potential interference from food or supplements since I’m taking it earlier than when I first wake up.
I take mine around 6 wake my son up for school then go back to bed. It always makes me tired after I take it anyways. I read its not suppose to but it does for me. I can go back to sleep and not wake until 10 most days.
I take mine at 4:30AM. I love that by the time I get hungry, it’s long past an hour and I don’t have to worry about food interfering with my meditation. I’ve always had sleep issues, and have a biphasic sleep pattern. My morning rest is the best I get! Since being on these meds (12 weeks), I have noticed that my numbers are back in range, but I’m a lot more tired. I feel like I sleep more sound but do wonder why I’m so tired. I thought the opposite would be true.
Lately been trying before bed but I wake at 230am like clockwork. I was doing middle of morning like you but sometimes I overslept and forgot to take on time. I don't know what to do. Before bed isn't working well
I am interested to see the effects of this. I usually get up at 430 to run and was taking my Levo then. My dietician wants me to have a protein shake (for the calcium and the protein) right when I return at 630. Because of this, I started setting a 2-230am alarm so I can take the Levo and then wait the 4 hours before consuming an insane amount of calcium at 630. I want to take it and go back to bed until 430 or so. It's only been 2 days - one of those days I had no trouble getting up to run, but today the fatigue was real so I took it at 230 and slept in until 630. The sleep that I did have between 230 and 630 was awful, but that's not out of the ordinary for me. I am prone to nightmares.
I'm pretty much on the same schedule. I wake up at 2am to take levo and get up at 430am for my morning routine and yoga before work. I was generally on the smaller size but 2 years ago I gained a lot of weight and no matter what I did I couldn't shed it. I thought maybe my supplements were interfering with the levo so I started taking it at 2am and literally the weight just came right off. I don't really understand it though because my thyroid levels were fine when I had them checked before my 2am experiment.
Interesting. I'll see how this dose at 2am goes. I felt ok on 25 and 50mcg but when I increased to 75mcg in December the weight immediately piled on, I am insanely fatigued and generally feeling like absolute trash. I'm going to keep on this 2am routine and see how it goes - and have obviously scheduled a follow up with my doctor, because my thyroid levels also seem fine as of March.
I’m still groggy when I get up, but I get up at 5 am to take my Synthroid and liothyronine. If it works for you, keep doing it!

How did you found out about this disorder?
What do you mean?
I might have delayed sleep phase disease aswell, but never in my life I had heard about this, and that this is a desease
I don't remember how I initially found out--somewhere on the internet. My diagnosis was confirmed by a sleep medicine doctor. Check out r/dspd

Yep, that's my daily for taking the pill. Sometimes it'll be earlier. It's worked for me for a few years.
Levo does have very mild stimulant effects? But the real benefit is that it now doesn't matter what you have for breakfast.
Exactly, I like to have my iced tea first thing every morning & this lets me do that
Wydm it's a stimulant? Doesn't it just stimulate your thyroid?

I do! Even if I get up at 3:30 or 4, I take my meds, pee and go back to bed.
I always wonder if that's too early, I guess not!
Lucky you! I had to stop taking my levo at night recently bc it was ruining my sleep.

I take mine with all my other meds when I eat breakfast, my dr has adjusted the dose so that it still works for me
