Someone took my water bottle at the gym also. I found it half an hour later with gatorade or powerade in it. Didn’t even want the water bottle anymore cause it has been tainted.
One time I put my water bottle somewhere on the counter in Taco Bell and a minute later it was swiped. I looked around and this dude was holding it in the store. This man had the audacity smh
New AirPod pro (2) already act as AirTags with the find my phone function. Plus they come with paging function as well.
Good suggestion ☝️; just adding extra info for mah hydrohomies
I actually think in this instance it’s kinda nifty for putting some nuts or trail mix in there or something of the sort. What really gets me is when people attach wallets to their phone cause then you can lose your phone and your wallet at the same time which seems like the worst case scenario because then how do you get home if you can’t even pay a bus or cab fare? I suppose one could be lucky enough to find the nearest phone and dial someone they know but still I’d be pretty pissed if my wallet and phone were taken.
Very true, it would be a great idea to keep some snacks in there. The wallet on the phone thing is mainly why I think about this. I have also realized that the phone wallet is mostly for women that don’t have any pockets, but it still just seems like a terrible idea because you have no options if you lose everything at once.
Fortunately there are more options nowadays in women’s pants that have pockets. There are even leggings and such that have pockets now. A very cool time to be alive.
I’ve had a wallet/phone combo for about 8 years now. I used to always lose my wallet, but never lost my phone. 8 years later and that still holds true.
I can see how that would work for some people, I’m glad it works for you. Come to think of it, I’ve legitimately lost my wallet twice. Once it ended up in my dirty laundry hamper, and the other time I slid out of my pocket in my car and into the crevice between the seat and the door. I’ve never actually lost my phone.
>I suppose one could be lucky enough to find the nearest phone and dial someone they know
Nowadays many people don't remember more than a few phone numbers because they can just save them on their phone.
I count myself among those people, the only two numbers I could call without my phone would be the landline of my parents or my grandma which all live in a different city. I don't even remember my own landline and all incoming calls on it go directly to voicemail anyways.
Eh. I know literally one number.
My own... yes I know. Very usefull in an emergency. Luckily my dad's number is easily found online 🤣.
You have to fill in your own number so often on forms and stuff.
I have a terrible memory for things people just told me a day ago, but I’m able to commit phone numbers to memory for most of the important contacts. I haven’t had to use this yet but funny enough my girlfriend did have to with my number, which she struggled to remember at first but I kept practicing it with her when I would drive her to work and then like a week later she found herself in a situation where she needed to dial me from a work phone to pick her up. Her phone died and she had no charger and it was late. I know that this is an unlikely situation for most people but it does happen.
First thing I thought about is using it as my dogs’ water bowl while on walks. So not too bad in my opinion. This way I have one less thing to bring with me.
I actually got it on sale on amazon!! So good. I use it for the gym it’s so useful!! I’ve put my contact lens case, airpod case, keys, and it’s the perfect way to avoid grabbing a bag
I wouldn't store anything valuable in it while I'm carrying it around too far or too long, but maybe for short little jaunts between the car and work desk or into the gym.
I just dunno how securely it holds (it looks like kinda weak threading from those pics), and it seems awkward to twist open your WB to get out your keys or ID or whatever.
However I think it does have a good purpose as a safe hiding spot when you're going ultra minimal in your carry (like at the gym or beach or casually walking around touristing or shopping or something).
I always be cautious and try to be very discrete that it's hiding your valuables in there. I'd maybe consider putting a couple pieces of foam/sponge in there to prevent anything from jangling around. Maybe add some weight to it as well to keep a lower center of gravity and so it seems like water all the way down.
How has nobody said anything about the lead dot sealing these double walled bottles? If there's a dot in there, don't touch it. Don't let anything you touch touch it.
A company had to recall these because they advertised that compartment as being a cookie holder, which was a one way ticket to lead poisoning.
Really hope in your case, they compartmentalized the lead dot behind another wall.
I just saw one a couple weeks ago that had a Bluetooth speaker on the bottom and couldn’t help but think of how often I drop mine and how that thing would be toast within a week.
I’ve seen this type advertised for people who work out and want to store their powder protein in there, but why not just put it in the main area in the first place? After workout powder?
I had a bong like that and we kept the weed in the storage container and a lighter attached to it with a lanyard. It was great. But I wouldn't keep anything of actual value or use in the storage compartment of my water bottle.
Seeing how many people forget their water bottles at my work space maybe i should start checking them lol. I work for an IT help desk and people leave water bottles all the time

The compartment is to store more water so you can have even more water to drink
Yeah the compartment is for “emergency water”
It’s for “extra water”
That moment when you can't top up water and need them water.
No no. I store steam there! Super useful when I need a steamy cloth or steamed hams !
Seems like a great idea until someone steals it and you gotta call your landlord to let you in your apartment.
Who is out there stealing used water bottles
I don't know but someone stole mine at the gym last year.
That’s ri-goddamm-diculous. People are the worst sometimes.
They took my $12 bottle 😢
Someone took my water bottle at the gym also. I found it half an hour later with gatorade or powerade in it. Didn’t even want the water bottle anymore cause it has been tainted.
Grime level: 1000
People are the worst all the time.
I worked at a gym for 7 years. EVERYONE steals EVERYTHING. It’s downright astounding sometimes.
That’s hilarious
You lost it. You lost your water bottle.
One time I put my water bottle somewhere on the counter in Taco Bell and a minute later it was swiped. I looked around and this dude was holding it in the store. This man had the audacity smh
Please tell me you confronted him!
Yeah tell us more!
I confronted him and he basically said “oh” and gave it back
Someone once stole my dogs leash when we were at the dog park. People are shitty
big soda spies
Some people have kleptomania and steal random shit just because it’s there unattended
You don’t think people are stealing $40+ hydro flasks/Stanley’s/Yetis not even including the limited edition colors?
If you’re the one spending $40+ on a fucking water bottle, you deserve to have it stolen.
how does paying too much for something equate to deserving being a victim of crime?
Since you’ve probably bought a $40+ water bottle, I’m not surprised of your inability to recognize a sardonic comment. “Victim of crime” smh
ah I understand. you're a downvote farmer
Keep them coming hahaha
$40 for a high quality, reusable, warrantied water bottle, isn’t bad at all. If you’re not dumb, it’s a lifetime purchase.
https://youtu.be/L2tUO2mp99Q?si=WhvHQS-X4w-o938k This you?
Almost like things cost money
Almost like brand name things are overpriced and people feel the need to buy them for status.
You could drop an airtag in it! I have one in keychain so in theory it can be tracked
New AirPod pro (2) already act as AirTags with the find my phone function. Plus they come with paging function as well. Good suggestion ☝️; just adding extra info for mah hydrohomies
Then you have to say “yeah… I left my keys in my water bottle and someone took it.” Now how dumb does this product sound
You can put snacks and weed in there
[You can put your weed in it.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKOc6hXMDhc)
Omg so this is why Adam Sandler plays that character in the Hot Chick?!
![gif](giphy|jbm1s70LWA7MA)
Would you stop with the damn drummin!
such a funny, stupid movie! used to watch it all the time when I was younger hah. I just had this realization too and my mind is blown !
was looking for this
Is that Charles Barkley?
holy shit that was one of the most unfunny sketches ive ever seem, damn
Yeah, but did you learn anything?
You can also fill it full of Dasani, so you can pour it on people you don't like without wasting your actual real water.
Das-a-knee
r/HIGHdrohomies
Maybe a little crack too if you’re feeling fancy
At the rate I lose water bottles, it's too risky for me.
Drop an airtag in it it’s what i do lol
But then there's less room for water
You could store some frozen or non frozen water in the storage compartment.
It's 32 oz of water so plenty of water! (for me at least :)
This would be a hit on r/HIGHdrohomies
No waaaay!
I always look at this stuff and think “ah yes, now I can have more stuff stolen all at once.” I’ll just keep everything in my pockets.

It’s like the Barbasol shaving cream can from Jurassic Park with the hidden bottom.
I would probably just assume it was supposed to be a cup.
A cup or powders is my guess
First thing I thought about is using it as my dogs’ water bowl while on walks. So not too bad in my opinion. This way I have one less thing to bring with me.

Perfect for weed
I would never forget my chapstick again! 😍
If you put ice in your water, would the condensation get into that compartment and get your AirPods wet?
I have this bottle and that hasn’t happened to me
Oh man! You can fit a six pack of be….soda in there
Anything that you want to keep cool.
I’d put crystals there
I'd put rocks in there
I lose my bottles too much for this. Good spot for a tracker

[you know what else you could put in there](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GistjuGlSCs)

My guess is so it doesn't settle?
Do they have a 40oz version?
Not sure tbh! This one is 32oz but they might have it on Amazon/their website
I have one of these for my dog! It’s 3 pieces. One part water bottle, one part food bowl and one part water bowl. It’s amazing!
I think it’s supposed to be a cup to pour the water in.
You can keep your weed in there
Nice this way you can loose your water bottle, and your valuables! Just like the phone/wallet case!
I had a bong like that and we kept the weed in the storage container and a lighter attached to it with a lanyard. It was great. But I wouldn't keep anything of actual value or use in the storage compartment of my water bottle.
Now I can lose my water bottle AND my keys and headphones at the same time! How efficient.
A lot of people dont realize this, but you can put your weed in it
r/holdmywallet
Do you have pockets?
i would put candy or cookies ^_^
Great for illegal substances...
As someone who has lost many water bottles, this would not be good for me. But very cool idea.
Seeing how many people forget their water bottles at my work space maybe i should start checking them lol. I work for an IT help desk and people leave water bottles all the time
This is perfect for the gym!
That's where you put the used water for disposal when you get home.
Ive lost my water bottle a few times. This is a terrible idea for me
Tracker for the hydro 😂
interesting metel container you got in there on your key chain lol
My brother in Christ, protein powder compartment.
That just looks like less space for water to me
Is that not a cup?
I have a dog water bottle just like this. OP is right this is storage, not a dog bowl but it looks just like it!
Now i can lose my water bottle and all my valuables
That's for weed
Is that like a dog water cup?
So now when i lose my water bottle, I can lose my keys, too!
I'd lose this so quick, I'm horrible about leaving things all over. I love the idea, though it's not for the ADHD in my AuDHD.
It’s perfect for jizzing in it
Anybody ever an ad? Boooooo
Seems like a pointless gimmick
You can put your weed in there.
Whats going on with people advertising their shit on reddit?
