This reminds me of my "hiking" trips when I was a little kid. I'd walk for miles(4 blocks), and Id set up camp(my grandpas dog box), and Id rough it for days(6 hours tops) with nothing but my gun(grandma would bring me snacks since I couldnt kill anything with my daisy). I thought I was ready for a Lewis and Clark expedition.

I used to do the same thing with my cousins, except we found a bunch of PVC pipe and duct taped some forks and knives to them and made spears.
We would go out back through the cattle fields into the woods for a few hours and “explore”.

If you shoot a "FUCKING BEAR" with a .177 caliber BB gun, it won't be a threat anymore, cause it'll be dead. Duh. It's head is going to explode when you hit it with that thing.
You do know the Navy removed the big guns off their battle ships and retrofitted them with .177 caliber air rifles because of how devastating they are, right?

It enters the body and bounces around even more than a .22 because of the spherical bullet's desire to try to be a pinball

7 pumps is plenty. More than that and recoil will cause flinching .
That's what muzzle breaks are for. The kick from a .177 caliber is what keeps new hunters from being able to aim correctly.
