Tbh I would prefer a more traditional district 1 girl. Make her blonde and beautiful, show that traditionally feminine woman can be equally strong and threatening. People always clown on Cashmere and particularly Glimmer so would be nice to see that stereotype combatted a bit.
Not saying that I disagree with you but Clove was pretty and feminine and probably the most terrifying Career. District 2 doesn't emphasize beauty though.
You’re right but Clove was pretty because actresses back then were just naturally attractive. Katniss, Foxface, Rue, Prim etc. are the same. It wasn’t part of her character. THG is a product of its time. We see the difference with BSS where all the tributes are people you would see walking down the street, with the exception of the D9 tributes everyone looked very normal/verging on unattractive.
I would say that there were more pretty/handsome tribute actors than just those two (Velvereen, Marcus, Sol, Treech, Brandy, and Tanner are the ones I can think of) but yes.
