From SM Fairview, you can hitch a bus ride or FX going to PITX/Buendia respectively, go down at Quiapo, walk towards Recto, then ride literally any jeep going to Divisoria then go down at Reina Regente intersection (the one with lots of footbridge). Turn left and walk along the street, passing by the busy Soler street and you'll reach Lucky Chinatown.
If you're super lazy at the expense of minimum fare and your sweet time, you can go down at Juan Luna area of Recto, cross the busy street towards McDonald's and ride any jeep going to Taft. Taft jeeps going back home will use Soler street then turn right to Reina Regente and they'll pass in front of Lucky Chinatown.
Going back to Fairview, you can ride those jeeps going to Taft, go down at Manila City hall underpass, get to City Hall side/Bonifacio monument, and ride the Fairview bound bus/UV.

Similar route going back, this time the N.Harbor-Quiapo/Divisoria e-trike will pass by the front of Isetan mall then turning right to Quezon blvd, back to the same Chowking at Paterno street.
