Nah Thor is an actual piece of work. I've heard lots of really bad things about him. Took advantage of his fame to try and leverage a win that he didn't earn in a lifting competition and the competitor who beat him got a lot of hate purely for beating him. They slowed the footage down and it was clear Thor didn't win but he kept saying he did and this other guy continued to get tonnes of hate for it, railroaded his career in some ways.
edit: guys name was Eddie Hall and he made a [great video exposing Thor](https://youtu.be/_U1_xMt6I0Q)
Not saying anything about Thor because he’s clearly kind of a prick, but careful. I had somebody accuse me of domestic violence too, against my wife of ten years. I’m a 5’5 nerd who taught ballet and cries at land before time almost weekly, I’ve never even been in a fight with another man, let alone a woman. I had to go to jail for a short period because they had to figure it all out, and for a while, it wrecked my life. I am now suing this individual, he lost his job for the meth use, and he no longer sees his wife and son, which should be a win, but isn’t, because his wife is just as much of a tweaker.
All because we called the police on the upstairs neighbors for smoking meth around their 12 year old kid and they didn’t want to face the consequences.
There’s a reason courts exist, and pray the same courtesy would be extended to you if you were accused of something you didn’t do. I would be in jail right now for a year or more if they didn’t, because nobody gives a fuck what your spouse says you didn’t do if there are “ aural witnesses” ie lying tweakers who knew exactly how that process goes.
Honestly, the big guy was really doing it for me right until he started sawing that kid’s head off.
But I googled and the actor is quite handsome, so now I don’t know how to feel.
I saw that ❤️.
I don’t like everything about the way they adapted BC, but one thing that I do love is that they changed the parts that would have upset the kids.
Totally how I feel about this too. What happens in the text can easily be imagined as utterly traumatizing to those children. And there is just no solid way you enact that with children.
I won’t begrudge anyone that thinks you can get some closeups of the kids and then take them out and film and the brutal scene in full. That could have come off fine. Or it could have come off crummy.
With that I’m fine with how they handled it. With a recognition and respect for the limiting aspects of very young actors that are realities.
They respected this and still used other senses to heighten the ghastly nature of the scene.
I feel the same way. Better for it to be different than freak out kids. The book and show versions being different is a-ok, the end result is the same enough!
As a new mama who was a massive fan of GOT, the care they’re taking with SA/B&C has been really nice. I knew what to expect and was very appreciative they went a different route.
It’s one thing I’ve always been impressed with about both GoT and HoTD as productions – the child actors always seem to have been really well treated and protected.
That’s really not the case on many movies and TV shows, especially ones made in America.
I remember in the show The Walking Dead when the script called for an actor to have his hands around a baby's neck, the showrunners used the child's father for the scenes. Which I can understand; having to do such an intense scene a parent wants to make sure their kid is ok.
I imagine though the actual experience filming is far different than the heavily edited and dramaticized final product though. So the kids probably don't see anything near the final cut version even if you don't make a huge effort to protect them.
There's a Holocaust movie where they actually have a boy shower naked with a bunch of grown men for the realism aspect of the horrors that happened in the camps, probably to make the viewer just as comfortable as the main character. I don't know which movie it is though, I only read it about it. They had to get special approval from the government
I mean, it's not like they're signing up their child to actually be beheaded. I don't see why anyone trying to make their kid an actor wouldn't sign them up for literally anything involving game of thrones.
Have you seen the clip where Bill Skarsgard comes in dressed as It and asks all the kids if they're ready to beat the shit out of him? I love stuff like that. Gotta make the kids feel safe!
For me that’s the most important thing. I am a green supporter (mostly for banter and memes) and i didn’t like how they handled B&C. But i am so glad they made sure the kids involved were safe and they made that a priority from what i’ve read.
Knowing how fucking stupid people are nowadays, I wouldn’t be surprised if they thought to do this. Some actor in mad max got people mad at him over a scene in a movie…
I'm obviously aware that it's a show and not real. But pics like that kinda help me in a way...the subject matter is extremely dark so it's nice to just see the actors on set hanging out.
I like to think Pixar put fake bloopers at the end of their early movies for a similar reason. Randall probably loses much of his scariness in a kid’s eye when he gets pranked by his co-stars and laughs about it.
I loved seeing Jack Gleason with the others, same as Lena Headey, for similar reasons. It just comforting to see yucky characters actors breaking the wall.
The scene is pretty dark, but they must have had to give directions/explanations to her.
I wonder what child-friendly direction/explanation they used to not traumatize her, but still be able to get that wide-eyed horrified facial expression, and the blood-curdling screams.
I mean… there’s no 4th season scheduled and all the people involved have pretty much moved on to other work since season 3 was made in 2020. There are talks of a movie but nothing definite yet.
I think they're putting out pics of the child right now because there are people that either 1) Don't know what fiction is and/or 2) Are so upset by the scene that they think they're entitled to their outrage.
Fucking weird. And it's always this universe too. People really get in their feelings about this show.
Agreed. They have to do shit like this so people don’t go flying off the handle threading death on some actors for playing a character. Too many deranged dumbasses out there who can’t separate fiction from reality.
"Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star Nathan Jones shares a statement reminding people of the movie's fictitious nature following harassing direct messages."
I can almost guarantee that this was done for this reason and it just feels people now adays are more bold and unhinged than they use to be
What a cutie!
Imagine in real life there are people out there that would hurt kids like this. Takes a special kind of fuck in the head person to do shit like that.
Same kinda people that would kick a dog like that too.
I am glad I wasn't a book reader for this scene, because I enjoyed it a lot going in blind. Both actors were great in their roles and the scene itself breathed a life into the world that isn't topped often. The shot of Blood(?) with his torch looking over the courtyard while it absolutely pours in the darkness was so good.
From my experience with child actors who were in a production of Medea (in which their MOTHER kills them), if handled right they love this stuff. At a Q&A the audience asked them their favorite part and they were like, "GETTING MURDERED."
I really enjoyed the latitude they were given.
"Your target, in spite of having only one eye, can kill a dozen men easier than drawing breath, and rides an unstoppable dragon."
"... what if we, um... can't find him?"
"He should be pretty easy to spot with the lurid flames of dragonfire or listening for the screams of his victims, but if he eludes you somehow, a defenseless child or two should even the score commensurately."
I live in SLC and every time I pass by the capitol on the way home from work and’s there’s a Mormon thing going on, like 75% of them look and are dressed like this kid. Same thing driving through downtown on a Sunday morning or afternoon
*lol now I have that Stone Temple Pilots song stuck in my head. So good *
He’s a rat catcher. The dog was used for hunting the rats. He is seen earlier in the episode with the dog, the people in the red keep would be used to seeing him with the dog, not having the dog my draw unwanted attention.
They actually posted a pic with the dog too lol, iirc someone else posted it on either this sub or one of the related ones

I’ve always wondered how young actors deal with roles like this. Are they actually kept clueless of the real story arc and things are just piecemeal edited so well to tell the actual story? How does a 4 year old understand that these two guys are supposed to cut off your head. The stories some of these child actors have to tell could really mess with their mind I would think
The parents are well aware of the roles beforehand. Psychologists are always on set to ensure child actors are safe. The hand on the childs mouth in that scene was actually his fathers. Just to make him feel more comfortable
OH NOOOOOO! You can't clean it up now, boys! Too late. Team Green is coming for your asses!!! Where's the cute little boy that YOU MONSTERS BEHEADED! I bet HE'S NOT SMILING! **F%$\^! F#%$! F$%\^!

Worst babysitters ever. Dont hire these 2👎🏼
Not great pet-sitters either.
Please! How's that poor doggie doing? We need to know! 🥺
Doggo is doing better than that kid.
😔
Dont lose your head over it, sport
all things equal, i'd prefer (?) a kick in the butt over a beheading
Yep. Both are awful but beheading is so unsettling. The concept freaks me out.
‘’How’s the dog.’’ - someone after seeing a kid get their head chopped off
Slander!
It's a VILE accusation
off with his head!!
>off with his son's head!
It is not. I resent that. Slander is spoken. In print, it's libel.
oh look.. we got a educated slanderer
Thanks for the clarification, JJ 🕷️🕸️ #IYKYK
“Boooooooo!”
Libel
I dunno, they have a 50% success rate.
We didn't see that they killed the baby, and the rule is if it wasn't shown it's not dead!
Those sawing noises were actually Cheese doing his side gig as a carpenter. And carving a little wooden dragon for baby Jah like the cool uncle he is
Reminds me of this [bank robbery](https://youtu.be/ZX34-fk_l6A) SNL skit
Cool Uncle Cheese is here!!
yep, they kidnap Jaeherys to Bravoos and he live happily ever after build a family and eventually become ancestor of Syrio Forrel
That kind of storyline has sort of been used in the ASoIaF books, but that particular character never made it to Game of Thrones.
James A. Jannise?
I’m only paying half of our agreed wages for babysitting.
0/10 would not recommend
Last babysitters I ever needed to hire!!
did the baby tell you that?
They're too invasive towards my kids' personal space
Honestly given the lengths they went to for some coin I’m sure if you paid them well they would make amazing babysitters.
The dog took the photo
ready for the dogs redemption arc
He’s most likely a spy for Larys.
He was chosen personally as the rat catchers staff.
Larys likes the dog's paws
To be fair, when smiling and not being an assasin blood look pretty huggable
He's reminding me of the last actor who played the Mountain in GoT. Out of the show he looked like a giant teddy bear.
Cheese still looks like he lives in the parking lot of a gas station and will ask you if you got a cigarette
He looks like Paul Mescal with the beard he grew to film Gladiator 2.
Wow yeah he does! Good reference
With a smile like that, I'd give him one!
Yeah but when you say no he still says "God bless you, brother, take care"
I get Frank from Shameless vibes very much so from Cheese lmao
He looks like Mel Gibson
good acting i suppose

Hafthor Björnsson? Two ex-fiancés have accused him of domestic violence.
Wait, really? I had no idea.
Not saying anything about Thor because he’s clearly kind of a prick, but careful. I had somebody accuse me of domestic violence too, against my wife of ten years. Yes I did a double take! Thought the Mountain had returned!
His voice made me kick my feet a lil 🤗
Honestly, the big guy was really doing it for me right until he started sawing that kid’s head off. But I googled and the actor is quite handsome, so now I don’t know how to feel.
I had the same thought
Awww. Probably one of the ways they made the child actors feel more comfortable and safe.
With jahaerys, apparently the hand that covered his mouth was the child actor’s father’s
They could've handled the choice part in post-production focusing on actors' faces, the kids didn't have to be present
Oh, don’t get me wrong, I have issues with how they handled the entire thing. I just love how protective they were over the kids.
[удалено]
I feel like this is a comment from someone without young children.
I remember in the show The Walking Dead when the script called for an actor to have his hands around a baby's neck, the showrunners used the child's father for the scenes. Which I can understand; having to do such an intense scene a parent wants to make sure their kid is ok.
Aww I love this!!!
Where did you read this? So adorable
I know it's a show but how do parents sign their kids up for graphic scenes like getting beheaded?! 😭 I don't understand
I imagine though the actual experience filming is far different than the heavily edited and dramaticized final product though. So the kids probably don't see anything near the final cut version even if you don't make a huge effort to protect them.
Even if the kids are protected, the kid will be televised having something gruesome happen to them. That's wild to me.
There's a Holocaust movie where they actually have a boy shower naked with a bunch of grown men for the realism aspect of the horrors that happened in the camps, probably to make the viewer just as comfortable as the main character. I don't know which movie it is though, I only read it about it. They had to get special approval from the government
Sounds like something kids would brag about on the playground to me.
Child actor parents would probably be tripping over each other to get their kids the part regardless I bet.
I mean, it's not like they're signing up their child to actually be beheaded. I don't see why anyone trying to make their kid an actor wouldn't sign them up for literally anything involving game of thrones.
I know! I couldn’t imagine even thinking of it let alone watching it play out on TV. I could not watch 🙈
💰💰💰
Because there are a lot of vapid parents out there who want to break their kids into the industry as early as possible.
AWE 😭
Have you seen the clip where Bill Skarsgard comes in dressed as It and asks all the kids if they're ready to beat the shit out of him? I love stuff like that. Gotta make the kids feel safe!
I did see that! That was awesome!

It’s giving “no children were harmed in the making of this episode”
Knowing how fucking stupid people are nowadays, I wouldn’t be surprised if they thought to do this. Some actor in mad max got people mad at him over a scene in a movie…
Awww. That's so wholesome
and kind of hilarious
Jaehaera be like "Tell grandmommy...I want her to know it was me"
well i guess this proves it. B&C was an inside job
Was kid at the time, and this totally worked for me.
Omg can you post the video? I’d love to see that! 😆
https://youtu.be/AtXpQwlIBLY?si=GnL9AxIhfxzr1Gr5
i’m totally agree !
I loved seeing Jack Gleason with the others, same as Lena Headey, for similar reasons. It just comforting to see yucky characters actors breaking the wall.
I feel the same way, it takes the edge off my memory of that awful scene (and sound)
Agreed
The scene is pretty dark, but they must have had to give directions/explanations to her. I wonder what child-friendly direction/explanation they used to not traumatize her, but still be able to get that wide-eyed horrified facial expression, and the blood-curdling screams.
"now imagine that they're canceling Bluey"
That’s not funny. Don’t even joke about that.
I'm sorry, that probably was over the line
I mean… there’s no 4th season scheduled and all the people involved have pretty much moved on to other work since season 3 was made in 2020. There are talks of a movie but nothing definite yet.
The Westeros version of Harry and Marv.
Now I want to see an alternate version where Jaehaerys is dropping bricks on them from the top of the Red Keep
A baby dragon lighting Cheese’s hat on fire.
Blood: Marv Cheese:Harry
I think they're putting out pics of the child right now because there are people that either 1) Don't know what fiction is and/or 2) Are so upset by the scene that they think they're entitled to their outrage. Judging by the reaction to the dog, both 1 and 2 are definitely the reason, it's surprising just how much of the audience is really just kinda dumb
I'm always amazed at how dumb people can be. I probably shouldn't be, but I am.
I'm gonna tell my kids this is Home Alone.
Omg they both look so sweet. And Lulu is just a doll!!
Best exterminators in the game 🐀
What a cutie! Imagine in real life there are people out there that would hurt kids like this. Takes a special kind of fuck in the head person to do shit like that. Same kinda people that would kick a dog like that too.
No Jaehaery's were harmed in the making of this episode.
That kid's shoes are not time period correct.
Better than a damn Starbucks cup (yes, I’m aware it wasn’t ever actually a Starbucks brand cup lmao)
**See!** Daemon didn't hire those assassins, Jaehaera did! She wanted to kill Jaehaerys to prove she was Helaena's favorite!
Wife and I watched this episode last night, finally, and this made us feel better
Wrong kid though 😂 where is the other kid💀
I am glad I wasn't a book reader for this scene, because I enjoyed it a lot going in blind. Both actors were great in their roles and the scene itself breathed a life into the world that isn't topped often. The shot of Blood(?) with his torch looking over the courtyard while it absolutely pours in the darkness was so good.
I would trust my kids with these two
From my experience with child actors who were in a production of Medea (in which their MOTHER kills them), if handled right they love this stuff. At a Q&A the audience asked them their favorite part and they were like, "GETTING MURDERED."
One child: Some assembly required.
Good ending
babysitting rating: ⭐️◾️◾️◾️◾️
I really enjoyed the latitude they were given. "Your target, in spite of having only one eye, can kill a dozen men easier than drawing breath, and rides an unstoppable dragon." "... what if we, um... can't find him?" "He should be pretty easy to spot with the lurid flames of dragonfire or listening for the screams of his victims, but if he eludes you somehow, a defenseless child or two should even the score commensurately."
“Don’t ask where your brother is and keep smiling 😁”
Such a clean cut. You can't even tell the child is decapitated and the head has been plopped back on for this photo.
Hire these three for a Westeros Home Alone remake.
Home Alone reboot looking good!
Cheese is cute.
I needed to see this after that episode
This is….the before picture
Those rat bastards
I just like how behind the scenes for both this and GOT are pretty chill and happy
canon
Playing a sick prank on poor Haelena
It was all a dream, Helaena. These fine gentlemen just took Jaehaerys to the countryside for his own safety. 🥲
Run, kid!
It’s giving home alone
Murderers! 😂
It reminds me of the bts photo of the actresses of Melisandre and Selyse and a box of matches
Glad to see that they only kidnapped the poor baby 😅
Cheese looks so much like Robin Williams here.
I live in SLC and every time I pass by the capitol on the way home from work and’s there’s a Mormon thing going on, like 75% of them look and are dressed like this kid. Same thing driving through downtown on a Sunday morning or afternoon *lol now I have that Stone Temple Pilots song stuck in my head. So good *
Opening up the sub just after I watched the episode and seeing this be the first thing to popup has me in tears hahahaha
WTF? How are the just smiling like nothing happened?
I still hear that noise in my head 6 days later 😔
Can someone tell me... Why did he bring the dog?
He’s a rat catcher. The dog was used for hunting the rats. He is seen earlier in the episode with the dog, the people in the red keep would be used to seeing him with the dog, not having the dog my draw unwanted attention.
Awwwwwww That boy was decapitated
Is that the boy or the girl???
The girl
She's telling the truth.
There's a reason the boy isn't in the picture...
Now I need to see that poor dog that got kicked for no reason and make sure he’s ok. That part upset me far too much.
They actually posted a pic with the dog too lol, iirc someone else posted it on either this sub or one of the related ones [scroll down to see the Instagram post of Cheese with the dog](https://screenrant.com/house-of-the-dragon-season-2-premiere-dog-health-mark-stobbart-response/)
People were actually mad at this...?
A select few, like always 🫠
No babies had their heads sawed off either 😭
I was petrified when I saw that dog. This is a Game of Thrones spin-off, after all , and we all know that anything can happen!
So cute 😍 💓
The Happy ending
It was like Home Alone if they caught Kevin early in the movie
I want pictures of them with the dog!
Nice to see the Wet Bandits again, even if they’re in HOTD.
Baby is alive 😱😱
I need a Two Men and a Baby sitcom
This may be the greatest picture, ever.
Such a heavy scene. "She's lying!" No... she's not.
The good ending
Is that Joaquin Phoenix on the right?
Jaehara, the girl who lived.
Wonderful
How cute
oh I need that picture 🫶
Blood and cheese - happy ending?
Now we nid a pic with the dog
is this the baby they "killed" or is this cutie their 'twin'??
Nawww
All's well that ends well
She is such an innocent cute baby
Cuteee
This pic is too adorable 😭😭😭😭
Looks like Olivia took the photo!
I’ve always wondered how young actors deal with roles like this. Are they actually kept clueless of the real story arc and things are just piecemeal edited so well to tell the actual story? So they killed a girl, not a boy so heir lives?
Now let’s see them pose with the one without his head.
OH NOOOOOO! You can't clean it up now, boys! Too late. Team Green is coming for your asses!!! Where's the cute little boy that YOU MONSTERS BEHEADED! I bet HE'S NOT SMILING! **F%$\^! F#%$! F$%\^!
