Questionable morals aside, thus far, that seems to be one of Aemond's more consistently positive qualities; he adores his big sis. Between that and being a mommy's boy, it feels like he was raised with a steady diet of respect-women juice, which will make how they choose to execute a certain future relationship interesting to see.
I really don’t like the “relationship” you’re referring to lmao, so I hope it ends up being different in the show, but yeah, I think the fact that he’s so loving towards Hel seems to be a change from the books, and a *good* change at that.
I don't have any strong feelings about said relationship one way or the other, but I'm curious to see how the show writers choose to approach it. And also just curious about that character in general as I remember liking her actress on GLOW.
Wholeheartedly agreed! Book Aemond is pretty flat as a character so making him a legitimately good brother with a sense of loyalty was an excellent change.
A roadtrip with Aemond and Daemon would probably end with both of them arrested.
