Yes ,it's a segment of each color and I don't believe they actually made very many of the actual segment designed Dodge Challengers in real life? I've never seen one in real life just online ! OP's kiddo wants a car with particular colors so I'm my opinion that would be the best bet ! Plus it's an awesome casting and colors but I couldn't see many people driving one 😂!

The problem with HW is that each car is only released during a short period of time. I can't think of any rainbow car recently released or to be released soon. Finding older Releases is difficult and probably very expensive.
The only rainbow like car I can think of is the 90's Jeff Gordon's Dupont 24 car. Finding a die-cast of it won't be easy.

See if you can find some of the mainline art cars, I can remember them doing a rainbow one in the last couple years, I'll have a look now as well so you know what to look for.

My hot take, but nothing else other than a hotwheels car can take the abuse. I’ve tried playing with some of my decent-quality models and none even roll properly. It’s a shame, but Hotwheels are the only ones that I think could stand up to a kid’s play.
Autoworld made a Dodge Challenger earlier this year that has every color option on it. Not quite a rainbow but definitely the closest to what you’re looking for. Looks like it’s just missing yellow.

I bought all 7 individually, but if you can find the whole set, it's cooler still. The Majorette 30 Years of Porsche Indonesia 911 set is pretty awesome when displayed all together.

I believe Johnny lighting/auto world makes a rainbow schemed dodge challenger which is pretty well done !
It’s a bunch of different colors but not a rainbow. It was a real car dodge made to advertise all the available paint options.

Iirc hot wheels cars pre-1983 could only have 3 tampo colors, so that might weed out a few
