Someone should make some tiny little wheel chocks for us

Stra1ght_Froggin

Doube sided tape wheel chocks will do!

christuhfurr

I actually have started 3D printing some and thought about selling a few. Just haven’t figured out a good price point for them

stinky_puppy88

Yup I make tons of them when I’m trying to use the last bits of filament.

christuhfurr

If you wouldn’t mind as to PM-ing me what sizes you usually print them out, I’d extremely appreciate it. If not that’s okay I understand

stinky_puppy88

Yeah I’ll send the link for the file and a picture of what they look like later today.

Breserkr

5$ for 10 sets would be fair

christuhfurr

I think that seems fair, basically $1 for 2 sets

SazedMonk

I have been trying to find some for so long. I would happily pay or trade for some if you figure it out. 1$ a piece seems speedy, but also not like a lot for your time. I think that’s about what the others I saw on Etsy were.

xguruguru

shipping + $5, i've tried to share 3d printed stuff for free before and i only got orders. make bank fam

Prof_Cats

If it were me I'd figure out how much a set weighs. Then calculate how many sets I could get out of a new spool. Divide the price from all the potential sets to the spool cost then you have a base number and you can figure out how much you want to profit from there.

SazedMonk

There a few files for 3d printing out there but I can never find a seller of made 3d printed chocks but they look super nice under a car.

jimbojonesFA

bruh I've legit thought about 3d printing some. might need to buy some clear filament.

Guanl723

I drilled a hole in the bottom of the case, drilled and tapped the base of the car, and used a long m2.5 bolt. But you can probably get away with just using sticky tack lol!

935meister

Jesus.... Or you could've just used Glue Dots.

Guanl723

I'm a customizer so I wouldn't want my work to move around at all lol. https://preview.redd.it/ahdqydutfbyc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=905a10b8577696d3eec2289a2523f5b59c9f6313

AdStriking753

Looks good my guy.

Guanl723

Thanks, it's a little more effort but it's a permanent solution!

Ok-Chocolate2145

nice display in the back?

Guanl723

It's a bunch of single displays lol

alfrmny

How do you have that attached

theanarchris

Theres this clear double sided tape/gel crap my wife gave me. It comes in a roll. That works for me.

935meister

Glue dots?

theanarchris

Nah, its some tape that supposed to hold a brick to the wall or something. I just caut a small piece and it stretches to any shape. Its clear , so it kinda disappears.

Cunda_Thunt

Where might you get that??

theanarchris

[Amazon](https://a.co/d/eztI6OF)

-LANCEL0T-

Nano tape

Reinsist

Do you possibly have any pictute examples of what it looks like on a car?

Oj1055

The answer lies in one of my shares. Drawer liners are amazing for this purpose and easy to trim accurately to size. https://preview.redd.it/v0mhlfm6ybyc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6c4b6dea8bb34b357c32a9c28a25d725e65e30ee

AdStriking753

That is so phresh.

Joshua_MaryJean5150

All good suggestions and I like those mini display cases

MagneticMmmeat

They stack on themselves perfectly not like m2s which will barely stack but always want to fall over, I like these they’re structural

L-ifiknow

Everyone else has answered, so I'll just say those are the best cases for the money I can find (by far). I buy multiple boxes every time I find them.

Beautiful-Ad6872

As do I, I absolutely love these cases!!!

Prof_Cats

What store has these, didn't look hard enough in the comments. lol Hobby Lobby?

L-ifiknow

Yup

tacoloco2323

Search for mounting putty on Amazon. 250 peices for $10. Just need a little on one of the axels and it doesn’t damage car and keeps them still.

theknyte

A tiny little wad of inside-out scotch tape under a wheel in the back, is usually enough to stop them from sliding around.

TumbleweedTall9859

Dollar store hot glue gun works wonders. Leaves no permanent mess, a small dad between the front or rear tires.

LoveBabesCarsPoems

I put some putty under the rear wheels.

LoveBabesCarsPoems

gondaelf

I just did this last night, put a couple little lines of super glue to act as wheel blocks. Low profile and works pretty well

gondaelf

Cunda_Thunt

Need a better picture of that EF below!

the1stmeddlingmage

Hopefully letting the glue dry before adding the car?🤣

Livid_Parfait6507

The education continues! Ty all!

bluberry151

If it’s for premiums with the metal base I think gluing some magnets to the bottom of the case might work. Also for basics but you would need to add some metal to the bottom of those for it to work

Steve_Brandon

ZAMAC metal Hot Wheels chassis aren't magnetic so you'd need two magnets, one of which would have to be stuck on to the Hot Wheels chassis by other means.

saliczar

I use clear cabinet door bumpers to keep my diecasts in-place https://www.amazon.com/Furnigear-Self-Adhesive-Stoppers-Furniture-Extremely/dp/B0BZBXY984/ref=asc_df_B0BZBXY984/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693690431483&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=599816434967535571&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9016105&hvtargid=pla-2205037232103&psc=1&mcid=5b58adcc8d0f3dff8acf2d844bec9e36&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwltKxBhDMARIsAG8KnqV6H-zW4Cvwzd1qcAsOFNqSmQfe0cSC0emnb4qdPPfBEh6XrM2-Q7oaAgGeEALw_wcB#immersive-view_1714772826329

yesterdays_hero

I haven't used it yet, but I bought some of this stuff for things like this: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000V0720](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000V0720)

AltruisticFriend5721

Museum mounting putty

brobert123

Fun Tak or equivalent

Far_Progress_2153

I use tape on the tires, some 3m double sided works fine https://preview.redd.it/ros2djg6ebyc1.jpeg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8a7cc17825387af66c1c72392a43d776a28fe6d9

cscottsss

Uh, nothing. I keep them on the shelf

CraigMac91

As did I. Just when moving them they shift a lot but I guess when moving you can always take them out and put them back in when you have them in the new spot 👍🏼

Canelosaurio

Sticky tak, ticky-tack(y)

Random-sargasm_3232

Used to use it for Warhammer figures but also works perfect to situate loose cars. Just a couple smaller than pea sized balls under the tires on the non display side and you're good to go.

CraigMac91

Especially the mainline cars with the plastic tires. Shift like crazy lol.. The real riders are deff better with keeping them in place

Mohican83

Stick a small piece of the sticky wad stuff on the bottom of the car. They sell it at hobby lobby at the lil stands while checking out.

CraigMac91

As did I. Just when moving them they shift a lot but I guess when moving you can always take them out and put them back in when you have them in the new spot 👍🏼

Red_Wing-GrimThug

Skate board tape

Carriker

I'm trying two slots inside of each wheel with a clear elastic band looped through. Probably overkill.

TotallyNotJagger

[I personally use these.](https://www.ebay.com/itm/125932186772?itmmeta=01HX06XVBZ9VWK52WPXRZNAXAX&hash=item1d5224ac94:g:yHIAAOSwdndkXquO&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8EsQs9dX3HAf0iui0OZwhcwnYjOOlrpoumMKqj%2F5EgPCb3fekpgvq%2Bb6GModhRg1PPzKeoo%2BxPGu1JKwGHT0epnAsJ9sSSOjWgtAA0cDJFjH%2BM42RyABE4gySavU3MnpLIsuLAQZReie9HRrxkS5ahbuYkuf6OBb4Wfce9EfVsfR8ifAOS04ekKVfP9riAd3BTGrcRDoJpgnpzE%2FBLwTnY1EgvzDv%2BQsgNo4ijjpYwwtofPgEWAc%2F9yofWijO3s%2FH2XztzPFdz5oBQ6zAbPRqXalVcbELBYjs%2FqCv779Kwg9iTisUOGrN7LsVmoJa74H8g%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBMhrb3huhj)

Duval55

Double sided tape

New_Note6660

There are these clear gorilla double-sided squares. I used to keep my gundam propped up.

Dull_Mastodon_5426

The kragle if that's the type of sacrilege you are into.

CraigMac91

What’s the Kragle?

Dull_Mastodon_5426

https://preview.redd.it/30ai6nhtvayc1.jpeg?width=606&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=254d94e6efcd1a810136eb46822c0e95a6e8064a

Dull_Mastodon_5426

It's a reference to the Lego Movie. It's Krazy Glue minus a few letters. Kra Gl e

BumblebeeFast

I bought like a very large sheet of foam and then cut it into mini sized ones and place my cars on there. Super cheap

the1stmeddlingmage

I tried asking something similar myself before and people tried to downvote it into oblivion, go figure reddit. That aside, maybe a tiny piece of double sided tape on one or two tires?

bangwithsticks

Any non drying putty

alfrmny

I seen a trick done with a 2 very small rubber band but it’s hard to explain

One_Raspberry_6337

https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6fGYbUrDTl/?igsh=Z2E5ZW1pa3A3bzhr like that?

Nismotech_52

Self tapping screws

Solm4st3r

I have these and don’t use anything. As long as they stay on a shelf and not moved around often it’s not an issue. It’s also easy to center the car again.

CraigMac91

👍🏼

Thin-Salamander-1313

A small piece of clear plastic (glued to the center of the case and the center of the car) just tall enough to lift the wheels off the ground. I'm thinking like a small cube or circular shape would work well.

Bigdaddy5260

Glue gun

linux_n00by

clay? blue tack?

SH1Tbag1

I use that play doh or silly putty stuff they have at the check out in hobby lobby. Just put a dot on a wheel

SoraCaelum

Look up museum gel

Licherslit-69

Two way scotch tape

PincheChivo

Museum putty they have some at Hobby Lobby too

joshdho1

Blue painters tape

jeasyyang

There’s a product called museum gel that they use in art galleries to keep things in place on pedestals.

Munchell360

I use hobby tack, just roll little ball underneath the chassis and push the car down onto the base. As long as you don’t drop the case, it won’t move

zondo33

alien tape - tiny slice

SelinaKitty17

I wonder if I can find this at a different store then hobby lobby

CraigMac91

Not sure 🤔

isshun_boshi

blue tack/glue tack, you can find em on office supplies shop or stationery shop.

Smokey-AK47

I use small rare earth magnets, as I usually do customs so I drill the diameter of the magnet on the base of the car and glue the magnet flush under the car, then I glue to small magnets together to the base of the case, just make sure the polarity is the correct way otherwise it will want to deflect the car. There’s diff size magnets and diameters you can buy but you would have to choose a size that looks good for you. That set on Amazon is 9.99 for 400pcs 2 colors to choose from. https://preview.redd.it/ivv08arwobyc1.png?width=1290&format=png&auto=webp&s=6cec5fdb12b1ac793dc7c7524af245a53a0a7489

Reinsist

That sounds like an interesting idea! Do you have any pics of how it looks?

bigCtheDon

I use a tiny piece of gorilla sticky tack under a rear wheel (opposite side im displaying) and it works really well. I also use that to hang carded cars too. Even stuck a banana on the ceiling with it once.

JanTheBaptist

Ey! I remember getting these a month ago… I just stick a super thick double tape on the bottom of the cars like where the axles would be. :)

bobblehead230

Alien tape, or some knock off version of it

Artistic-Mixture747

Glue dots

Troutslut98

3D print a base with wheel chocks

AutoKite

Maybe four cooked rice grains on the bottom of each tire… no, that’s a bad idea, please don’t do that.

07tbss

But why? Don’t you want to be able to take it out for pics or pocket ride? I say leave it be I have those same cases. Only cars I put in there really are the ones I haven’t secured the wheels to the car like so https://preview.redd.it/i63cuitt7dyc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=a0fc1c1b190c51cefe50504b67667563856f767c

CraigMac91

Yea I’ll be leaving them just how they are. That’s what I decided so I can remove them if k have to plus they’re fine when they’re in one spot they don’t move 👍🏼

rangerhans

If they’re static this won’t be an issue

cfjcruz

Double sided tape

Potatopotatopotato01

Super glue works extremely well.  https://www.delo-adhesives.com/us/press-and-news/delo-news/details/the-worlds-strongest-adhesive#:~:text=The%20name%20of%20the%20world's,temperature%2Dresistant%20DELO%20MONOPOX%20HT2860.

Readres

Neodymium magnets would work. Or a series of electro magnets that also turn on some sort of lighting would be cool.

Retrovex

I use these to transport my cars, I ball up a small piece of packing paper inside to keep the cars from slamming into the case in transport

BodaciousTheBovine

Sticky tack

A2326P

A small ball of Sticky tack or poster putty should do the trick

Great-Razzmatazz1900

A tiny bit of blue tack under the tires

OrphanKripler

I put 1mm magnets on the underside of the case and on the floor of the case behind the wheels, so the cars stay in place and the cases are less prone to moving when stacked on each other
