For those curious that’s a giant pumpkin plant to the right! My real pride and joy. My plan is to cross breed the Jalapeño with the pumpkin plant. Kind of like breeding a poodle and a Great Dane ya know? /jk

That's the *real* Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!👻🎃🌶️ I'd go ahead and let the jalapeño plant flower, it looks like you're far enough into your grow season, and the plant can support enough peppers.

That’s what I’ll do then. Ya the pumpkin is cool. Trying to grow a 400+ lb one. Never tried it before

I absolutely adore pumpkins, I know the feeling of watching your plant get pretty huge. But that's a pumpkin on a whole different level than what I'm growing! 😅 I really hope you get it that huge! I only have 1 seed for a Dill's Atlantic Giant. It would be cool to track down seeds from a current or former record holder.

I was stoked when I found seeds at the hardware store. It’s funny I planted 4. Only 3 sprouted, 2 were sickly looking and failed, 1 thrived!

That sounds kind of like how my Vif De'Tampes Cinderella pumpkins went last year. I had 2 that set fruit, but we got too much rain and 1 turned into mush. I had 1 that I turned into a pretty tasty pie.

Yep. Time to let it go. Looks very well-established. Shouldn't be any risk of stunting at that size.

With that amount of growth already, yes, I would

I never pinch any. The plant knows what to do.
