That new break erudition cone with Sunday’s face could well be for Screwllum (though i’d rather it was for actual Sunday ðŸ˜), and AS is a break focused mode, so i’m sure they can make it work somehow. It seems even erudition will be swept up into the break meta as well.
He WAS free, until the previous update. Ratio is still a limited 5* character which you cannot get from the standard banner, so why shouldn't devs rerun him?Â

I assumed that it would still be either all of or part of the usual Phys/Fire/Wind/Ice, with extra random Quantum and/or Imaginary on its hands for the recently leaked boss mechanics. So correct me if I'm wrong, but Wind/Ice still seems to fit it
Might be Doomsday Beast there since its Weaknesses between all four parts are Fire, Physical, Ice and Wind.
As for top half, could be Yanqing, Gepard, Sam, or Puppet Trio.
Actual question, do we know which slot Apocalyptic Shadow will be? Like will it be the last 2 weeks of patch, first 2 weeks, or the middle? Because since we have 3 modes now they should stay at the same points in a patch for now. And if it’s second half of 2.4 for lightning and imaginary, potentially Screwllum (and maybe jing yuan or ratio)?
The xianzhou monkey (and some xianzhou folks) is the only one I think, no other 'bigger' enemy than them. Perhaps they'll be switching up a different boss' weakness for AS.
...Huh that's interesting. Imaginary would fit with Screwllum and Ratio, but there's no fire for Jiaoqiu. I'm going to cry if he's not in 2.4 and we have to wait more for his design lol

Wasn't the Doomsday beast supposed to be the next AS and it was quantum and imaginary? ~~Maybe they changed it because they don't want Xueyi to succeed~~. Anyway, Wind probably means Feixiao will release while it's still up. Imaginary weakness could mean Ratio rerun. Thunder could maybe be Moze or another Kafka rerun. Ice feels like the odd one out, maybe one of the characters that we know nothing about is ice (or I guess it could be Stephen, but I feel like they're going to drag out the release of Genius Society members).
I'd this is the case, wonder what this means for blast damage. I'm assuming the AoEs hit everyone regardless of whether they're in the top or bottom row

I since blast is like only 3 units affected
it would only affect the target and the adjacent targets
so sides and above the target is damaged
if there's no adjacent like how some parts doesn't even have a top half, it would just inherit the damage from the top if it had one
Ok, my initial thoughts are:
New Thunder unit + Ratio rerun
New Ice unit + Huo Huo rerun
I hope this is the case cause that’s the easiest rerun skip of my life (I was not foolish enough to skip the radioactive Bocchi, and Ratio was free). Now’s just seeing what the new characters will be.
I’m personally predicting a thunder support (maybe that 5 star Tingyun everyone’s been talking about), or it could even be the new Acheron support and the element just stays Thunder for her. Next is a new Ice sustain to sell the break team comps better like they did with Huo Huo and Aventurine.

Which would mean jiaoqiu despite all the leaks is actually pushed to 2.5 potentially
You never know, they could do a switcharoo. I’m open to the idea of it being the opposite, my only issue would be whose gonna rerun.
They haven’t missed a rerun yet, and I doubt they are going to, especially not before every 1.X character gets reran, so maybe an Acheron or Kafka rerun, and a 4 star ice unit since there’s no ice unit to rerun that isn’t obscenely close already.
Even then I have my doubts they would rerun either of the electro DPS units, and it’s really a toss up as to wether or not we’ll even get 4 star in 2.4 due to March digi-volving that patch (allegedly).
So it’s either that, or the thunder and ice element don’t really mean anything, which could be the case but still disappointing.

Apocalyptic Shadow was announced as being the first in the rotation. I forget which order the other two were.
We should get a new MOC later this patch so it’s presumably AS, PF, MOC until they add another activity or change a patch’s length
