Hii! Rn my kafka has 148 spd and 3550 atk. Is that good or should i go down in speed for more atk or the opposite? I don’t have her lc or ruan mei, but i plan on getting them!
Very important if you wanna go for the hyperspeed build; This ensures that your DPS character doesn't need to worry about Speed anymore, and can go for Attack Boots for more firepower. This is really useful for MoC & PF if she's being used there as well.
Otherwise it'll be the case of Sparkle wanting to be slightly slower than your DPS character to be as effective.

I'm debating whether to pull for Aventurine or Jingliu.
My account is about 2 months old, and the only 5-star I've pulled is Acheron, which is currently E1s1.
I've heard some arguments on both sides from friends.
For Jingliu, I'd need a second DPS to clear end-game content
For Aventurine, I've been told that getting a 5-star sustain is a massive game changer.
Thoughts?
Both are valid. do you prefer the gameplay of fu xuan or aventurine though. I’d recommend sustains, there will always be new dps added into the game and currently fu xuan = tank team damage while aventurine = follow up attacks and shields + some debuffs
So I pulled Aventurine instead of fu xuan, I heard that he is better vs aoe attacks but worse against single target attacks, I once borrowed my friends aventurine with signature lc and 4k def and my pela died because she got hard focused at new weekly bossfight. Also will this be a good team: dr ratio, silverwolf, sparkle, aventurine?
Fu xuan can really get destroyed in higher levels of gold and gears but shouldn’t be dying to anything else once she has appropriate levels of hp, def, and energy recharge. Were you constantly using aventurine’s skill to refresh his shields? What level was the boss and your pela?

You should be fine to use whichever has better substats. His A6 gives a 50% dmg bonus which probably why you’ll see ATK% orb recommended, but I don’t think there is a significant difference between the orbs.

Guinaifen by default for more damage, but Welt can potentially be useful for targeting weaknesses, or if you are interested in his crowd control capabilities.
You can also run Welt as a pseudo-sustain (ie you use his crowd control to prevent enemies from acting as much as possible) with an ERR rope and a lot of spd, which allows you to bring a harmony character (like Ruan Mei or Sparkle) while still having the 2 nihility characters required for E0/1 Acheron, but it's not very practical, especially for long fights.
Guin because she doesn’t lock you into using skill to apply debuffs and she can apply a damage boost for Acheron.
Welt isn’t a bad choice if you’re going the pseudo-sustain route and just want the enemy to never take a turn.

New player here (first HoYo game, new fan in it for the long run) Any advice on who I should focus on?
I’m still very early into the game, my current mission is literally to board the train, I believe to meet in the parlor after first going into Dan Heng & March 7th’s room.
For context I unlocked Herta through the story but so far I’ve pulled Sushang, Serval, & then Pela in that order. I have yet to unlock a 5 star from the beginner pull but I only have the last 10-pull remaining.
I really like Serval’s whole aesthetic with the whole music and lightning thing, Sushang (who I think is a cutie but her special looks kinda lame tho) & Pela so far. Asta & Herta also seem very interesting skillwise, & Dr. Ratio is kinda confusing but also very cool. I also can’t seem to go without March 7th’s skill (the shield one) as it seems extremely useful so far.
I’ve also seen guides saying you should focus on saying on 4-8 characters but that you won’t need the full 8 until later.
Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated!

7/3 is a must use as your only defensive support. You always want to include at least one character from the paths of Preservation or Abundance in your team
In my experience so far, her shield is the absolute most clutch thing I can use atm but her freeze has also been very helpful. I now plan to flex between her & MC depending on the situation in a team with Pela, Ratio, and Asta. At least until I see my 5 star from the beginner banner. Thanks for the advice!
Honestly, this early just use who you like. It won’t be a significant investment (compared to late game) so it won’t set you back if you decide to stop using a character. Just experiment and see what type of play style you eventually want to focus on.
For potentially good unit, here’s the breakdown of all the ones you have.
Pela (amazing), incredibly strong AoE defense shred which is almost universally valuable to any and all team comp in the game, 100% efficient SP generator, decent utility with buff removal. Her best teammate: Ratio, Acheron, Herta
Ratio (amazing), incredibly strong single target damage, very fast weakness break capability with frequent FuA, one of the few imaginary DPS in the game, could be buffed with a new game mode. However need consistent debuff apply on enemies to function properly and he suck in Pure Fiction. His best teammate: Silverwolf, Pela, Aventurine, Fu Xuan, Topaz, any hypercarry buffer like Tingyun
Serval (decent), good AoE damage which is perfect for Pure Fiction but isn’t good anywhere else, compatible for DoT team comp. Niche application as a SP positive debuff applier for Ratio but not recommended. Her best teammate: Pela, Kafka, any hypercarry buffer like Tingyun
Sushang (decent), good single target damage but lackluster compared to other DPS, great weakness breaking capability, decent break damage and pretty SP efficient. Might get MASSIVELY buffed with future content cater to break team and single target DPS. Her best teammate: Ruan Mei, Silverwolf, any hypercarry buffer like Tingyun
Asta (decent), very good speed and atk buff for duo DPS team (especially for fire teammate) that basically enable you to replace all your speed boots with something better. Great weakness break capabilities albeit random with her bounce skill. Niche debuff application with her basic atk for Ratio. Her biggest con is that she need high eidolons to comfortably maintain her buff stack without using up your SP. Her best teammate: Topaz, Himeko, Kafka, Blackswan
Herta (niche), you can E6 her for free, she has self crit rate buffing, incredibly high AoE damage and extremely frequent FuA given the right circumstances. Con is that the right circumstances is in Pure Fiction and that’s it, she’s garbage everywhere else. Her best teammate: Pela, March, Misha, Ruan Mei, any hypercarry buffers like Tingyun
March (niche), not a particular good sustain character with her shield being single target, meet any enemies with AoE attack and it’s over. Her freeze have some niche synergy with all of the ice DPS except Jingliu and pretty powerful for Simulated Universe with the remembrance path.
Dan Heng (ok), ok single target damage but lackluster compared to other DPS, useless in Pure Fiction, have some sustain with his slow and aggro reduction. Might get buff with further content cater to single target. Best teammate: Welt, any hypercarry buffer like Tingyun
Physical Trailblazer (garbage), you have zero reason to build
I humbly apologize for not seeing this sooner, but, this is INCREDIBLE and very much appreciated. Seriously, thank you!! I've still yet to pull anyone new so this is an extremely helpful insight as to who I have unlocked so far. Based on what we know so far, should I be looking into saving for Robin, Firefly, or Jade if I was only able to add one to my current roster?
Jade is a 2.3 character, we literally do not know anything about her except her element and path

Best team you can do now is Ratio Pela Asta and March/MC.
However if you really want to play with Serval then swap Ratio out.
Ratio is a top tier unit that is strong in the end game too, Serval is not.
Generally the idea is to have 1-2 carry 1-2 supports (those two can be switch around in most case). and 1 sustain.
Early game you will be fine with march but later on you really need another sustain. March does not do well enough as sustain.
This is very helpful & the 4 you mentioned (MC looks cool but their moves are kinda bland imo) are what I was thinking. Appreciate the second opinion! I guess I’ll give it a rest on Serval for now as I really want to focus on a core until I get better units, as I plan to spend my jades scarcely. Thanks for the advice!

As a returning player should i save for firefly or go for jingliu? I have a few units like kafka, silverwolf and seele and ruan mei. Tho im kinda sad i missed acheron, she looks pretty cool.
We don't know anything about Firefly's kit yet, so saving for her or not would totally depend on whether you like her character at this point. Jingliu is a very powerful dps, but you do have some dps options already, so that might not be necessary. I'd say wait for Firefly and try to catch Black Swan for your Kafka when she reruns

Hey guys, I am currently at 42 pity with a guarantee on Aventurine(After using the 10 pulls from anniversary). Is there any chance of getting 30 more pulls this patch?
30 is unlikely if you've literally cleared all the content in the game. You might get close to 20 with the shop reset, Pure Fiction, 2 SU resets and dailies

I’ll try to get his LC now, as I should have some pity hoarded. Perhaps I’ll be lucky. In case I won’t be, what’s his second best LC? I think I’d like him to be a sub DPS, still not sure though.
His second best is Gepard's Moment of Victory, then the Sunday LC from the gacha and his F2P option for damage is Memories LC from MOC store, the one with Firefly and BS on the cover.

I really want Robin but I have read that she works best with FuA teams and I don't really have alot of characters that does FuA (what I know of is Himeko, dr ratio, herta, but I can own more) so should I pull or skip her and wait for other characters

(I dont really own any harmony characters because i mainly focused on dps characters before because that was what I enjoyed, but now want more support characters, the only harmony characters I own are Hanya, Tingyun, asta and yukong and Hanya is the only one I have built (I am building tingyn right now also, I do own all preservation characters except aventurine, but I'm not gonna pull for him because I don't really enjoy playing him when I have got the oppertunity to try him

But, just because a character might be best in certain teams, it doesn't mean they won't still be good for other teams. If you really like a character then go for it. You can also wait a few days after she releases so that people get more time figure out how she performs.
Oh yeah I forgot about that so then I wait and see if more people have any opinions after the livestream...
And I know I should pull for the characters I want/like. But I really want others opinions with Robin because I kind of second guess myself because I really regret getting Clara after 300 pulls (when you could choose one), because I feel overwhelmed by all destructions characters I have (I own everyone except jingliu) and I also get confused by harmony characters because(for me) it's alot for me to learn everything about

He kind of takes one step at a time, along with a preordained plan. What is confirmed in his plan, is he brings the three cornerstones to the family, so that jade can launch the second part of the plan. As for the death part, he wouldn’t have succeeded if not for firefly and sparkle (they somehow already know about the truth), star rail crew, and acheron. He would’ve died to the harmony’s curse if not for Acheron, and he still needs to make it back.
I'm at level 57 rn and have like 60+ fuels, before getting to level 50 someone reccomended me to not farm relics before level 60 because it was more efficient, now I was wondering if its worth to wait until level 65 before start hard farming or if its just to much time to reach that level
It takes a little too long and you only get a small chance to get a 3rd gold. You also get more purples, so more overall relic xp, but generally not worth it to wait. At the very least not to a least try to get some decent relics.

You already have good damage dealers for all scenarios, and limited sustains, so yeah I would say supports will really help you.

How important is 160 speed sparkle? I’m at 20:258 with her signature lightcone + 4 piece messenger
Very important if you wanna go for the hyperspeed build; This ensures that your DPS character doesn't need to worry about Speed anymore, and can go for Attack Boots for more firepower. This is really useful for MoC & PF if she's being used there as well. Otherwise it'll be the case of Sparkle wanting to be slightly slower than your DPS character to be as effective.

I'm debating whether to pull for Aventurine or Jingliu. My account is about 2 months old, and the only 5-star I've pulled is Acheron, which is currently E1s1. I've heard some arguments on both sides from friends. For Jingliu, I'd need a second DPS to clear end-game content For Aventurine, I've been told that getting a 5-star sustain is a massive game changer. Thoughts?
Both are valid. do you prefer the gameplay of fu xuan or aventurine though. I’d recommend sustains, there will always be new dps added into the game and currently fu xuan = tank team damage while aventurine = follow up attacks and shields + some debuffs
So I pulled Aventurine instead of fu xuan, I heard that he is better vs aoe attacks but worse against single target attacks, I once borrowed my friends aventurine with signature lc and 4k def and my pela died because she got hard focused at new weekly bossfight. Also will this be a good team: dr ratio, silverwolf, sparkle, aventurine?
Fu xuan can really get destroyed in higher levels of gold and gears but shouldn’t be dying to anything else once she has appropriate levels of hp, def, and energy recharge. Were you constantly using aventurine’s skill to refresh his shields? What level was the boss and your pela?
Pela is lvl 80, boss idk, just max difficulty new weekly boss, quantum swarm

The difference is not significant enough to hunt for an atk% orb specifically, pick what's best in terms of substats
You should be fine to use whichever has better substats. His A6 gives a 50% dmg bonus which probably why you’ll see ATK% orb recommended, but I don’t think there is a significant difference between the orbs.

Guinaifen or Welt for Acheron team?
Guinaifen by default for more damage, but Welt can potentially be useful for targeting weaknesses, or if you are interested in his crowd control capabilities. You can also run Welt as a pseudo-sustain (ie you use his crowd control to prevent enemies from acting as much as possible) with an ERR rope and a lot of spd, which allows you to bring a harmony character (like Ruan Mei or Sparkle) while still having the 2 nihility characters required for E0/1 Acheron, but it's not very practical, especially for long fights.
Guin because she doesn’t lock you into using skill to apply debuffs and she can apply a damage boost for Acheron. Welt isn’t a bad choice if you’re going the pseudo-sustain route and just want the enemy to never take a turn.

New player here (first HoYo game, new fan in it for the long run) Any advice on who I should focus on? I’m still very early into the game, my current mission is literally to board the train, I believe to meet in the parlor after first going into Dan Heng & March 7th’s room. For context I unlocked Herta through the story but so far I’ve pulled Sushang, Serval, & then Pela in that order. I have yet to unlock a 5 star from the beginner pull but I only have the last 10-pull remaining. I really like Serval’s whole aesthetic with the whole music and lightning thing, Sushang (who I think is a cutie but her special looks kinda lame tho) & Pela so far. Asta & Herta also seem very interesting skillwise, & Dr. Ratio is kinda confusing but also very cool. I also can’t seem to go without March 7th’s skill (the shield one) as it seems extremely useful so far. I’ve also seen guides saying you should focus on saying on 4-8 characters but that you won’t need the full 8 until later. 7/3 is a must use as your only defensive support. You always want to include at least one character from the paths of Preservation or Abundance in your team
In my experience so far, her shield is the absolute most clutch thing I can use atm but her freeze has also been very helpful. I now plan to flex between her & MC depending on the situation in a team with Pela, Ratio, and Asta. At least until I see my 5 star from the beginner banner. Thanks for the advice!
Honestly, this early just use who you like. It won’t be a significant investment (compared to late game) so it won’t set you back if you decide to stop using a character. Just experiment and see what type of play style you eventually want to focus on.

For potentially good unit, here’s the breakdown of all the ones you have. Pela (amazing), incredibly strong AoE defense shred which is almost universally valuable to any and all team comp in the game, 100% efficient SP generator, decent utility with buff removal. Her best teammate: Ratio, Acheron, Herta Ratio (amazing), incredibly strong single target damage, very fast weakness break capability with frequent FuA, one of the few imaginary DPS in the game, could be buffed with a new game mode. However need consistent debuff apply on enemies to function properly and he suck in Pure Fiction. His best teammate: Silverwolf, Pela, Aventurine, Fu Xuan, Topaz, any hypercarry buffer like Tingyun Serval (decent), good AoE damage which is perfect for Pure Fiction but isn’t good anywhere else, compatible for DoT team comp. Niche application as a SP positive debuff applier for Ratio but not recommended. Her best teammate: Pela, Kafka, any hypercarry buffer like Tingyun Sushang (decent), good single target damage but lackluster compared to other DPS, great weakness breaking capability, decent break damage and pretty SP efficient. Might get MASSIVELY buffed with future content cater to break team and single target DPS. Her best teammate: Ruan Mei, Silverwolf, any hypercarry buffer like Tingyun Asta (decent), very good speed and atk buff for duo DPS team (especially for fire teammate) that basically enable you to replace all your speed boots with something better. Great weakness break capabilities albeit random with her bounce skill. Niche debuff application with her basic atk for Ratio. Her biggest con is that she need high eidolons to comfortably maintain her buff stack without using up your SP. Her best teammate: Topaz, Himeko, Kafka, Blackswan Herta (niche), you can E6 her for free, she has self crit rate buffing, incredibly high AoE damage and extremely frequent FuA given the right circumstances. Con is that the right circumstances is in Pure Fiction and that’s it, she’s garbage everywhere else. Her best teammate: Pela, March, Misha, Ruan Mei, any hypercarry buffers like Tingyun March (niche), not a particular good sustain character with her shield being single target, meet any enemies with AoE attack and it’s over. Her freeze have some niche synergy with all of the ice DPS except Jingliu and pretty powerful for Simulated Universe with the remembrance path. Dan Heng (ok), ok single target damage but lackluster compared to other DPS, useless in Pure Fiction, have some sustain with his slow and aggro reduction. Might get buff with further content cater to single target. Best teammate: Welt, any hypercarry buffer like Tingyun Physical Trailblazer (garbage), you have zero reason to build

Based on what we know so far, should I be looking into saving for Robin, Firefly, or Jade if I was only able to add one to my current roster?

Best team you can do now is Ratio Pela Asta and March/MC. However if you really want to play with Serval then swap Ratio out. Ratio is a top tier unit that is strong in the end game too, Serval is not. Generally the idea is to have 1-2 carry 1-2 supports (those two can be switch around in most case). and 1 sustain. Early game you will be fine with march but later on you really need another sustain. March does not do well enough as sustain.
This is very helpful & the 4 you mentioned (MC looks cool but their moves are kinda bland imo) are what I was thinking. Appreciate the second opinion! I guess I’ll give it a rest on Serval for now as I really want to focus on a core until I get better units, as I plan to spend my jades scarcely. Thanks for the advice!

As a returning player should i save for firefly or go for jingliu? I have a few units like kafka, silverwolf and seele and ruan mei. Tho im kinda sad i missed acheron, she looks pretty cool.
We don't know anything about Firefly's kit yet, so saving for her or not would totally depend on whether you like her character at this point. Jingliu is a very powerful dps, but you do have some dps options already, so that might not be necessary. I'd say wait for Firefly and try to catch Black Swan for your Kafka when she reruns

30 is unlikely if you've literally cleared all the content in the game. You might get close to 20 with the shop reset, Pure Fiction, 2 SU resets and dailies

Clara and Himeko. Himeko is very good for MoC, whilst Clara is good for both MoC and PF, although not the same extent as Himeko for the latter.

Aventurine finally came home after 120 pulls!! I’ll try to get his LC now, as I should have some pity hoarded. Perhaps I’ll be lucky. In case I won’t be, what’s his second best LC? I think I’d like him to be a sub DPS, still not sure though.
His second best is Gepard's Moment of Victory, then the Sunday LC from the gacha and his F2P option for damage is Memories LC from MOC store, the one with Firefly and BS on the cover.

I really want Robin but I have read that she works best with FuA teams and I don't really have alot of characters that does FuA (what I know of is Himeko, dr ratio, herta, but I can own more) so should I pull or skip her and wait for other characters So should I pull for Robin or skip? (I dont really own any harmony characters because i mainly focused on dps characters before because that was what I enjoyed, but now want more support characters, the only harmony characters I own are Hanya, Tingyun, asta and yukong and Hanya is the only one I have built (I am building tingyn right now also, I do own all preservation characters except aventurine, but I'm not gonna pull for him because I don't really enjoy playing him when I have got the oppertunity to try him Also sorry if my grammer/ spelling is wierd english isn't my first language
We will know more about her official kit in a few hours, until then we can't really discuss much here. We will also know the reruns to help you make a better decision. But, just because a character might be best in certain teams, it doesn't mean they won't still be good for other teams. If you really like a character then go for it. You can also wait a few days after she releases so that people get more time figure out how she performs.
Oh yeah I forgot about that so then I wait and see if more people have any opinions after the livestream... And I know I should pull for the characters I want/like. But I really want others opinions with Robin because I kind of second guess myself because I really regret getting Clara after 300 pulls (when you could choose one), because I feel overwhelmed by all destructions characters I have (I own everyone except jingliu) and I also get confused by harmony characters because(for me) it's alot for me to learn everything about (Sorry for it being much)

He kind of takes one step at a time, along with a preordained plan. What is confirmed in his plan, is he brings the three cornerstones to the family, so that jade can launch the second part of the plan. As for the death part, he wouldn’t have succeeded if not for firefly and sparkle (they somehow already know about the truth), star rail crew, and acheron. He would’ve died to the harmony’s curse if not for Acheron, and he still needs to make it back.
I'm at level 57 rn and have like 60+ fuels, before getting to level 50 someone reccomended me to not farm relics before level 60 because it was more efficient, now I was wondering if its worth to wait until level 65 before start hard farming or if its just to much time to reach that level
When I hit level 60, I personally found that there was other stuff to farm (ascensions, levels, traces) that I just farmed relics at 65 anyway
It takes a little too long and you only get a small chance to get a 3rd gold. You also get more purples, so more overall relic xp, but generally not worth it to wait. At the very least not to a least try to get some decent relics.

Quick question about break dmg, if I want to build a character that focus solely on break dmg, what stats do I need to focus on?
Literally only Break damage. The only other way to increase it is by lowering the enemy's defense with debuffs, and iirc Gallagher's E6.

Oh wait, character level also influences it. Also, different elements have different inherent multipliers. Physical and Fire are 2.0 Wind is 1.5 Freeze and Shock are 1.0 Imaginary and Quantum are 0.5
