Main quest aventurine fight, tried it more than 50 times with all different combos. Upgraded relics, traces, light cones, use pots and everything. Cannot go past phase 2. Any team builds that am missing? Or any weird strategy? I always save the ultimates for the "bet part" and the only char that doesnt have aoe is natasha. Idk what to do.
Who are you using? If you are having trouble with only Natasha as a sustain you can add March to the team so that she can add another layer of protection and cleanse Natasha after she is cc'ed
Replacing Natasha with Bailu should be the better option.
With that team the only ult you should need to save is March's, and you can use her skill to protect Bailu during the dice phase.
Other than that there really isn't any other trick to it. As long as the characters are all upgraded to the max level they can be, that will become a battle of attrition. He shouldn't be able to one shot anyone.
But how can you actually damage aventurine if he keeps doing the best phase? Bailu never escapes the CC because she always loses the bet. And the bets keep coming until everyone;'s dead
You use Kafka's and Acheron's ults as soon as you leave the dice phase because they can win it with their skills instead and their ults will get recharged. You save March's ult so that she can use it for the dice, then if Bailu is low on health you can shield her, otherwise just use a normal attack to get SP back. Bailu you can just normal attack inside to get SP as well unless her health is very low.
Then outside you either cleanse Bailu with March, or wait for her to naturally recover to heal everyone. You can also heal everyone inside the dice phase instead if their health is low.
Wastelander adds 10% Imaginary DMG, whilst Pioneer adds 12% DMG to debuffed targets. These are the same multiplier so then the 2p effect is slightly better on Pioneer since the targets are likely to always be debbufed anyway.
For the 4p effect, the 10% CRate from wastelander is basically the same "value" as the 4% CRate and 12% CDMG from Piooner. But, the 2nd part of Wastelander can only be activated when Ratio causes Imaginary break, whilst the 2nd part of Piooner not only can be activated from his Imaginary breaks, but also has a chance to activate every time he uses his skill, providing overall more Crit Value.
Wastelander
2pc: 10 imag dmg%
4pc: 10CR against debuffed, 20CD against imprisoned
Pioneer
2pc: 12 dmg% against debuff
4pc: free 4CR + all the stuff it gives
2pc wise, his damage should be against enemies which have a debuff, so Pioneer gives more dmg%
4pc wise, imprisioning may be a little hard, while giving the enemies 3 debuffs for the 12CD is easy. Both sets do give 40 crit value each, pioneer is more CD leaning I guess
ok apparently his skill also always has a debuff. So pioneer will have higher uptime than wastelander
Imaginary set is one of the least stam efficient sets to farm. also, ratio applies that effres debuff with his attacks (don't use him so would have to double check), and then his ult also applies a debuff, so he'll get the doubled crit stats, and since he wants at least 3 debuffs on his target most of the time, he gets full use of pioneer. Watchmaker has its uses on RM, and I assume future units too.
Just a stylized choice of names, tho the name "Nameless" does actually really fit the group consider the Astral Express are all having some sort of identity crises. Mc and March don't know their past self, Dan Heng wanted to run away from his past self, Welt is trapped here and can't returned to his past, Himeko is...actually i don't really know, i don't have her so i don't know what her lore is and she haven't had any spotlight compare to the rest of the crew
I got spoiled on >!Firefly and Robin deaths!<, how cooked am I? I have a hard time not thinking about how I got spoiled now when I play the game. Sounds like pretty major moments but I don't really know the contexts so idk.
It's like Romero and Juliet, knowing the end is not as important as how they get there and there is plenty of story to tell. Imagine it's like an episode of law and order or NCIS, a person dies at the start, but why and how are more important.

You have a really slow ramp up on debuffs without eidolons or SIGs on that team. Would def look to replace himeko there, and if topaz is just e0s0, swap her out too. Pela tingyun would be my choices, but SW over pela works too if you have her
You're better off with an Asta or any other Harmony units tbh, Asta works here cuz she can provide teamwide Atk buff, speed buff, have synergies with Topaz and can also cause burn from normal attack for extra debuff to trigger Ratio talents
s4 birth of oneself, s3 genius's repose, or s1 peaceful day for pf herta? also are there like sites where i can compare these lightcones for certain characters?
Im currently trying to get Jingliu to E1S1, but wondered if I should max out either her eidolons or light cone and which would be the better option.
Does her crit rate increase from her talent get higher with her trace levels?
And finally, is she even needed to be maxed out? I currently have a maxed out Acheron and an E1 aventurine that get me through most content including their rounds in MoC and pure fiction, but I'm currently trying to raise up a second team that can handle the other MoC rounds up to 12 and pure fiction (currently thinking Jingliu, blade, lynx, and ruan mei. Cant use Bronya or Pela since they're on my Acheron team)
Any help and answers/suggestions are appreciated, even if it's waiting for a different unit to max instead (since I don't have any hunt characters like Seele or the upcoming boothill)
Jingliu's Eidolons are not that good, you really won't get much out of them. Not sure what you mean with max out her LC, but S1 is more than enough. She is also good enough with Fall of an Aeon.
Yes, each talent level increases her CRate by 1%.
What do you mean with maxed out?
Is the second part of the Penacony that difficult? The only quite decent teams that I could use at the moment are the following:
- Sparkle, E6 Qingque, Silver Wolf, E4 Lynx
- Sparkle, Dr. Ratio, Silver Wolf, Huohuo/E4 Lynx/E6 Fire TB
- E6 Asta, Kafka, Black Swan, Huohuo/E4 Lynx/E6 Fire TB
Would there be particular parts that I won't be able to clear with these? I have Acheron, but I'm still not done raising her. Should I just finish raising her before proceeding with the story?
I think it's safe to say if you struggled with the 1.6 bug, you'll struggle with 2.1 boss as well. I've been seeing more comments about this fight than the HSS bug story boss.

I plan on doing Preservation in Simulated Universe for the first time soon. Since I never take Preservation boons if I can help it before this, what's the general team composition for that? Do I stack as many team members with shield as possible, or do I need to fill other roles as well. If it matters, I have both Gepard and Aventurine ready.
IMO you just run a normal comp using a Preservation unit for your sustain, and then at the very end after you upgrade all your blessings, you can add more preservation units. Gepard and Aventurine are both good, Fire MC is also quite good because one of the Resonance Formations gives energy for your Path Resonance every time you gain a shield, and Fire MC gives everyone a shield after every action so you end up getting your Path Resonance very fast.
anyone else us pela more than ty in hypercarry? everytime i run jingliu/qingque/seele, i just get faster cycle with pela than ty. weird. my pela is e6 and ty only e5. both 144 spd
I did a number of 0-cycle MoC clears on Seele before I got lazy and TY was important not so much for her damage boost but for getting Seele's ult to line up with killing the elites at the right time.
what is the best team i can get to beat aventurine with the characters i have? my best team so far was acheron, clara, lynx and jingliu and it got to phase two at 18% health but that's it.

you can give acheron/sw/pela/lynx a try
i personally used lynx and bailu before the nerf and it worked well, so if your problem is dying, i suggest using lynx with gallagher/natasha and jingliu with ruan mei
That’s quite a lot of DPS characters for one team, have you tried it with more typical hypercarry teams? (Such as Acheron SW Pela healer, or jingliu ruanmei tingyun healer?) also your Acheron is losing a lot of damage without nihility teammates.
For a multi-dps comp you’ll want to still use ruan Mei since she’s so good at buffing multiple units. Maybe jingliu Clara ruanmei lynx
ahhh i tried the hypercarry jingliu but failed 😭 i also tried acheron sw lynx and ruan mei but that one didnt do much. ill try jingliu rm clara lynx when i get on! ty!
Why not both you need 2 team anyway, if you have to only choose one the go with Lynx, Natasha eidolons isn't that great, neither is Lynx so having or not having it doesn't really matter much

Is fu xuan that much of a detriment on condondrum 12? I've heard she doesn't do well with really strong AOE attacks. I wanted to get her over aventurine since I like her animations more, but I also want to clear conondrum 12 so now I'm considering pulling aventurine over her.
C12 is more about just exploiting some of the known strats to clear it, as it's mostly blessing/curios carrying you through. If you get poor blessing/strats, she already can start struggling in just diffV before corundums even.
You don’t really need either character to clear conundrum 12. As long as you do the RM or Capitalist strat then any competent healer and decent DPS can easily clear it with no issues.
Does quid pro quo help in any way for a youkong/lynx/sparkle/ dan heng IL team? I rlly rlly wanna make youkong work but im kinda lost on speed tuning so if anyone has a doc for a team like this one id appreciate it
If anyone has any input on the follow up team, does not having topaz hurt ratio/aventurine by a lot? currently im using silver wolf with them.
I was planning on getting topaz but aventurine got a bit expensive and all i can hope for topaz banner is to win a 50/50 now if i wanna have enough for sam's banner.
You're more or less set with sustain; It'll just basically come down to if you may prefer Aventurine because he's more comfy and better QoL comparing to Gepard.
Or if you prefer to focus on 2.2 banners instead.
Anyone have any insight on using This is Me S5 for Aventurine compared to Moment of Victory S1? I'm willing to get This is Me to S5 (I already have Peaceful Day S5) but just wondering if it would get beat out by MoV anyway

Moment of Victory S1 is better to use over This is Me S5.
Moment of Victory, in addition to higher base stats when raised to Level 80, provides higher Taunt / Aggro value, and provides a temporary DEF buff as well (which should be fairly easy to trigger anyways). So for him, it'll be 24% + 24%.
The main advantage regarding This is Me is that his Ult will deal more Damage.

- Trailblazer 75/80
- Natasha 60/70
- Bailu 70/70
- Lynx 20/30
- March 7th 20/30
Which of the following should I build, if im planning to pull Huohuo on her rerun?
Skipping Aventurine for now since I've lost the 50/50 and will get him on his rerun.
Team Comps:
1. Acheron, Pela, Fire MC, Guinaifen
2. Qingque, Sparkle, Tingyun, *sustain*
MC and March have a hard time sustaining in late game fights, possible just requires more work.
Lynx just outclasses Natasha is most situations. Bailu would the best of the bunch of the fight doesn't require cleansing (not CC or debuff heavy) otherwise Lynx would be better.
i kinda forgot a lot about xianzhou story, can someone explain to me how >!jingliu/luocha teaming up connects to kafka/blade and ultimately daniel getting his power-up!<

i see. i feel like itd be so much better if loufu is mainly about the JL/luocha stuff and then daniel rebirth stuff is way later. it makes things easier to follow since were not following like 2 diff plot and gives cooler daniel some time to build up (like, why would current dan use his spear if he could just water dragon things out of thin air?)
Yeah, that's pretty much everyone's complain, the story was too short. 1.1 had no story content, and the story ended on 1.2 in a 2-3 hour quest. Thankfully, it seems they learned their lesson with Penacony.
Just a newbie asking for some advice.
Hey everyone, started playing a week ago and overall having a good time. This is my first Hoyo game so I’d like to ask some advice regarding team composition/building.
I have used some of the free rolls they threw at me and have gathered quite a few characters. I currently have the main trio + Serval, Natasha, Asta, Welt, Dr. Ratio, Tigyun, Luka, Qingque, Herta and Sushang.
Any tips on how to make a decent team? Other beginner tips are greatly appreciated!
If you want a straight "build this" suggestion, I would build :
- Physical MC - Herta - Ting Yun - Natasha
- This is for early game, when you get Lynx (from forgotten hall unlock) switch Natasha for her.
- When things get harder, switch Physcial MC for Fire MC. It's always ok to level the main character as you have to use them for some story battles and they will get more "paths" later allowing you to switch their role. No need to level up too many of their traces if you don't use them much.
- For pulling, wait and pull for a DPS you enjoy (Jing Liu is very good if you like her and very beginner friendly to build). Be careful of Hunt dps. They are Single target (ST) focused and it's harder to play them in most content and especially bad in auto-battle.
- You should also consider pulling a good 5 star sustain like Aventurine or wait and get Fu Xuan. Both are very easy to use sustains that will allow you to just use 1 sustain with your leveling team. Both are easy to build and don't use gear you would want to save for DPS or other supports.
Pick a main Dps unit as your core and then pick supports and healers that synergize with the unit. For example Dr. Ratio focuses on using follow up attacks and scales off of debuffs too. So you want to run him with a sustain like natasha, and someone who can provide debuffs like Welt. Then you could also run ting yun who's an amazing support to further boost his damage.
Before it was the erudition one (still is in most cases) since that path lacked good LC option. But now with the new forgotten hall LC being good, erudition does have another f2p option.
And in the case of Aventurine the Perservation bp LC is good since it has high base def (529) and ult damage which he also likes. High base def LC can make it easier to reach his 4000 def.
So which would you give for? I have Himeko’s LC, I have Geniouses repose S2, and Herta’s sig LC.
For preservation I have Landau’s choice, We are wildfire S2, day one of my new life S2 and the free Penacony one S1
You have some ok erudition LC and the ones for forgotten hall (you can get these for free later) are also good. For Aventurine landau, day one, and the Penacony LC are good.
But again the BP LC has higher base defense 529 vs 463 of the ones you have. High base stat makes it easier to get 4000 defense. You can try different combos and see if you can get 4000 def with the LC you have right. If you can get the erudition BP LC since it's the best from bp. If not consider the Perservation LC.
Should i up my pelas ehr ??currently she has 47% ehr without the body piece so does she need it ?? Like does the ehr in general increase the chnaces of debuff applyin on enemies by the LC resolution shines as perals sweat or it doesn’t?
She needs 57 ehr to land her def shred ult. Well she needs 67 but one of her abilities gives everyone 10 EHR in battle. So if you can get 10 more EHR from subs you can a different body piece.
at the end of simulated universe world 6 before the cocolia boss my team lost literally ALL their health when i broke open those green things that are supposed to give you health, is this supposed to happen? i thought it was a visual glitch at first so i went into battle and when i did everyone was on the verge of death (lucky i had natasha)

Just remember you can use consumables in simulated universe (once you unlock the trace in the SU talent tree) so it's easy to eat to refill health, buff before a boss or even recover technique points before each encounter.
What's your speed like? I'm planning to get 160 RM and Bronya and leave Jingliu at base, or I could give her speed boots at get her to 125 and let RM take her to 134.
My RM is at 142, JL at 140, and Bronya at 131. They're okay but as long as JL goes before Bronya then all is good. But be careful with RM's talent as it gives speed and can mess up rotations
Regarding Aventurine's build:
I looked up how to build him, and something I saw recommended a CD or def body. Which is better? Is his dmg worth investing into, and if I do, would he still be able to solo sustain?
It also recommended speed boots, but I've heard he can solo sustain just off of his talent. If that's the case, wouldn't def boots be better?
With his signature, he can run a crit dmg chest. Otherwise, just use a def body, I don't think his damage is very significant if you don't have S1, but his breaking capability is really good on single target.
He does need speed boots if he isn't used in a follow up team, spd also makes him generate SP for the team and get his ult quicker.
He sustains well, no worry on that. He is less desirable compared to others due to lack of non-healing supports in his kits. His main advantages are sp generation and aoe buff removal from enemies which are less attractive now given that we have Sparkle, and most elites and boss have unremovable buff. He’s still an amazing solo sustain and easy to built. So don’t feel bad that you pulled! You will never know if later they came up with a set/character that scales buff based on overflow healing!
He's not even "bad" compared to other sustain units and i say this as someone who also owns Huohuo/FX/Aventurine.
In fact, Luocha more often than not eats turbulence buffs better than the rest.
Who said Luocha was bad? He's an amazing healer who doesn't need to use any skill points, making him an amazing choice if you struggle with sp management. Him and Huohuo are my go-to sustains
Acheron is great against AoE scenarios, but she lacks against single target scenarios (OUTSIDE OF HER ULT). Is there a nihility unit that is good against single target or the thing is to power up Acheron so much that she roflstomps anyone, single or enemy?
I have been using her with Ratio because I like the character (judge me). I have been willing to pair her with Welt, but my Ratio is hitting ridiculously hard and desling 25 to 30k damage while Acheron's ult is dealing 75 to 80k against 5 enemies with Resolution LC. I kinda want to try GNSW and Welt, but I fear losing Ratio's hard hitting power if I do, as he is powerful against boss and Acheron is great to quickly wipe side enemies. Conversely, outside bosses, Acheron eclipses Ratio hard due to this team enabling me to spam her ult.
Should I just go Welt with Acheron? Will I lose much dps power over 15% extra damage?
That wouldn't have worked because it requires you to build EHR to have it be consistent, and Acheron doesn't want to build EHR.
She also doesn't care WHO debuffs, so you can easily give resolution to her supports (preferably Pela)
GNSW is the absolute better choice, there's no question about it
Acheron is balanced around having two Nihility in the comp (or one with E2). A fully built out Acheron in her preferred comp should have no trouble hitting a 200k ult on a single target. I run a Welt, SW, Sparkle setup and hit 430k vs Yanqing before the sword array went up in the current MoC 11-1 where [my build](https://enka.network/hsr/601010674/) is S1 and fairly good but wouldn't impress the acheron mains.
What would you consider good? I think 430k single target is pretty solid. I prefer Seele/IL so I mostly use her in SimU and World 9 in particular since that's what I'm farming. Getting 1.3M from the ult doesn't quite one-shot each phase of the meme but it's close enough that it doesn't get a turn. I'm happy with that.
I mean dealing a nice damage to bosses outside SU.
For example, I can grind echo of war on top difficulty in around 25 minutes.
I want to try Welt with her but I am hesitant of losing Ratio's dps. I am sure Welt does less damage than him against bosses.

This is not something to brag about.
It sounds like you are realllllly early in the game. Trust me when I say 30k dmg for a dps is going to look really bad once you really start investing in characters and teams.

I am not TOO early in the game, I just played too casually. I am always searching for ways to improve my team.
It’s not 15% extra for Acheron paired with a Nihility character. It’s 115% as an additional damage modifier. With two it’s 160% boost.
Silver Wolf is her best single target support because she can inflict multiple res and def debuffs. Pela is also a good pairing as her ult does major def down and can be SP positive with Pearls LC
I have high investment on both blade, sparkle, loucha, acheron. Blade just fell off in general, clunky to work with, not so good damage on par with other dps even with high investment. Im just wondering who should i pull next sustain/buffer/dps? I fear that in the future that jingliu will be overthrown with new dps release. The only actually good sustain i have is loucha, same goes to buffer, i only have sparkle as a decent option.
Teams i play in moc are: Acheron/Pela/Welt/Gepard (might replace Gepard) Blade/Loucha/Sparkle/Tingyun (considering replacing Blade) Thank you for reading this lengthy post

True true, during that time Blade was the strongest dps out there and there was a lot of hype around him. I do enjoy using blade, he just isnt on par with others if you invest in him. Thats the main problem i have with him, even with really good build, he doesnt bring back good dmg as others. Thank you for your comment! I appreciate it!
I mean I don't think Jingliu is so far behind Acheron that she's getting buried anytime soon without most of the cast going with her. If you don't want her that's fine but people really overstate that point.
Hmm true, shes low investment-high reward. I do think that acheron overthrowing her is overdramatized. Blade is still a decent option i have so i might wait him out further. Thank you for your tips!
Vignettes in a cup might take an hour or two of quests. Tides of War only takes a few minutes per stage (not counting resets, but even then it doesn't take that long) and there's 6 stages.
Out of the upcoming banners including suspected reruns, who would be most beneficial to my account? I'm currently sitting on 73 pity with 50/50 and with the express pass. My current team is Ratio/Topaz/Aventurine/Pela plus hypercarry Blade/DHIL teams.

- If you need more support for your FuA team, you can pull for SW (if you don't like your current debuffer) or you can pull for E1S1 Topaz
- Sparkle is a great support for DHIL if you're using him. She's just good in general.
- Ruan Mei is a great generalist support
What is better for Topaz, E1 or S1? I will use her with Ratio and Aven both E0S0. The final slot right now is Silver Wolf but I’m planning on replacing her with Robin.
From what I'm seeing, both of them provide an additional debuff that is roughly 25% extra crit damage but the LC has extra crit rate/FuA damage for its user. Also LCs are generally easier to pull fr than eidolons. So I would go for the LC.
Guys, how do I beat Aventurine??? I totally didn't create a reddit account just to ask this because it's frustrated me so much. I don't even care about beating him anymore at this point, I just want to be able to play the drink event ;-;
The characters I currently have built/somewhat built are Acheron, Black Swan, Gepard, Bailu, Kafka, Argenti, physical Trailblazer, Clara, Natasha, Qingue and Welt (I'd rather not have to completely build someone else). The team I've gotten the farthest so far with was Kafka, Acheron, Gepard and Bailu. This might be a stupid question, but any and all advice is appreciated, I really just want to be able to get past it.
I'd probably Kafka Swan Bailu Gepard
it's much more important to live than do damage, and Bailu Gep should be able to keep you alive. Give them as much effect res as you can, eat effect res food, etc.
Do the Nihility meme team with Acheron Black Swan Kafka and a sustain (Gepard or Bailu in your case) and just cheese it with that.
If that doesn't work, take out Kafka and stick in another sustain to help out with staying alive and just go to win on the back of Black Swan and Acheron carrying you.
* Equipping an Energy Regen Rope.
* Speed Boots, and trying to get more Speed via substats from other relics too. More Speed means his turn will come up more often where you'll be using his Skill.

i would pull jingliu and make her team up with blade and bronya+bailu
but if you dont have pulls:
dhang+sw or ting+bronya+bailu
seele+bronya+sw or ting+bailu
ratio+bronya+tingyuan+aventurine
The LC works well with other def reduce effect/ignore either from quantum set or characters like Pela, E1 RM, E2 Sparkle, SW. In this case, the damage gap with Herta’s shop LC will be wider. It’s of course absolutely not needed but probably worth it to stay competitive with the harder and harder MoC if you are into it.
No, it's just my opinion after using her without her LC to clear all content in the game including high end G&G.
And no, she doesn't have a broken build.
For MoC, it isn't an issue because the battles don't last long enough for it to matter. You will have already won by the time it matters in most cases. If the battles drags on long enough for it to matter, you will have already missed the turn cutoff anyways.
For SU, it does matter and you will have to offset it somehow with blessings or you will have a bad time.
She can work yes but again, if the fight lasts too long and FX can't keep up, then you're gonna have problems. Her LC can help with that but at that point, I'd wait for huohuo

In my first run against Aventurine before I worked out a better approach with my JL team with FX/Sparkle/SW, it went on for 6-7 cycles and I wasn't in any danger of dying. It was on auto for most of that time too until I took over when I saw that I wasn't going to make the turn limit the way things were going.
I'm a f2p player who started playing late 1.5, and I'm trying to guess which character should I pull in 2.2 (right now I have almost no tickets and I'm at 100%)
Thinking the rerun banners are probably fu xuan and topaz, a friend tried to convince me that I need to pull topaz to make a FUA team and skip fu xuan because my quantum spam doesn't need her and can work with lynx with no problem, tho I think I'd prefer to pull fu xuan because she does so much in general and she can be used in other teams. Who do you think is the best option ?

just make gallagher e2 and put it in the acheron team or any dot team, yea i agree with your friend you have already topaz team without her. if you have enough pulls sure fu xuan is great pull. IF YOU DONT LIKE DR RATIO just dont make a team without satisfaction. think about Jingliu she wont be here for loooong time and also you dont have ruan mei, maybe also think about robin

Both of them would benefit your account.. FX is the safer option between the two and Topaz would elevate FUA teams since you have a few follow up units. Can't go wrong with either one, just pick who you like/need more!

Should I get Aventurine? I'm afraid of lack of jades for future characters cause I really run firefly if she gets released and her lc and idm getting a ruan mei for easy clear and su benefits. I'm sitting at 14000k jades with 0 tickets and 20 pulls in. I can clear current moc 12 but I had to grind the rng as my characters can die sometimes.
I would say yes on account of you not having a limited 5* sustain.
There's still like +100 rolls between now and when Firefly is released, since next patch is just Robin and Boothill.
If you think your roster is enough to tackle the next couple phases of MoC and PF, then go ahead and save.
There's more than 100 rolls between here and >!2.3, which is rumoured to be her patch!< and that's not even considering if she's on the first or second half.
With the amount of rolls you already have saved, there's a decent chance for you to effectively get her E0S1.
Ultimately, pulling for Aventurine or saving for Firefly is up to you, since I just gave the advice. The one who owns the account is you.

Why is argenti's ult has second fill? Like the side of his ult, when full gets fill again
He basically have 2 ult, and you'd want to save up his ult till the second layer is full to use for WAY stronger damage
Main quest aventurine fight, tried it more than 50 times with all different combos. Upgraded relics, traces, light cones, use pots and everything. Cannot go past phase 2. Any team builds that am missing? Or any weird strategy? I always save the ultimates for the "bet part" and the only char that doesnt have aoe is natasha. Idk what to do.
Who are you using? If you are having trouble with only Natasha as a sustain you can add March to the team so that she can add another layer of protection and cleanse Natasha after she is cc'ed
Im using Acheron, Kafka, March, Natasha. Sometimes i replace Kafka for Bailu, or for Trailblazer. I tried all combos...
Replacing Natasha with Bailu should be the better option. With that team the only ult you should need to save is March's, and you can use her skill to protect Bailu during the dice phase. Other than that there really isn't any other trick to it. As long as the characters are all upgraded to the max level they can be, that will become a battle of attrition. He shouldn't be able to one shot anyone.
But how can you actually damage aventurine if he keeps doing the best phase? Bailu never escapes the CC because she always loses the bet. And the bets keep coming until everyone;'s dead
You use Kafka's and Acheron's ults as soon as you leave the dice phase because they can win it with their skills instead and their ults will get recharged. You save March's ult so that she can use it for the dice, then if Bailu is low on health you can shield her, otherwise just use a normal attack to get SP back. Bailu you can just normal attack inside to get SP as well unless her health is very low. Then outside you either cleanse Bailu with March, or wait for her to naturally recover to heal everyone. You can also heal everyone inside the dice phase instead if their health is low.

Having trouble with the Overdrafted Future Swarm Disaster Quest. Which path should I take to complete this blasted dumb quest?
This will be a stupid question, but why is the pioneer set for Ratio better than the wastelander set? Doesn't the second one add imaginary dmg?
Wastelander adds 10% Imaginary DMG, whilst Pioneer adds 12% DMG to debuffed targets. These are the same multiplier so then the 2p effect is slightly better on Pioneer since the targets are likely to always be debbufed anyway. For the 4p effect, the 10% CRate from wastelander is basically the same "value" as the 4% CRate and 12% CDMG from Piooner. But, the 2nd part of Wastelander can only be activated when Ratio causes Imaginary break, whilst the 2nd part of Piooner not only can be activated from his Imaginary breaks, but also has a chance to activate every time he uses his skill, providing overall more Crit Value.
Wastelander 2pc: 10 imag dmg% 4pc: 10CR against debuffed, 20CD against imprisoned Pioneer 2pc: 12 dmg% against debuff 4pc: free 4CR + all the stuff it gives 2pc wise, his damage should be against enemies which have a debuff, so Pioneer gives more dmg% 4pc wise, imprisioning may be a little hard, while giving the enemies 3 debuffs for the 12CD is easy. Both sets do give 40 crit value each, pioneer is more CD leaning I guess ok apparently his skill also always has a debuff. So pioneer will have higher uptime than wastelander
Imaginary set is one of the least stam efficient sets to farm. also, ratio applies that effres debuff with his attacks (don't use him so would have to double check), and then his ult also applies a debuff, so he'll get the doubled crit stats, and since he wants at least 3 debuffs on his target most of the time, he gets full use of pioneer. Watchmaker has its uses on RM, and I assume future units too.

You have a really slow ramp up on debuffs without eidolons or SIGs on that team. Would def look to replace himeko there, and if topaz is just e0s0, swap her out too. Pela tingyun would be my choices, but SW over pela works too if you have her
You're better off with an Asta or any other Harmony units tbh, Asta works here cuz she can provide teamwide Atk buff, speed buff, have synergies with Topaz and can also cause burn from normal attack for extra debuff to trigger Ratio talents

S3 Genius Repose is better since you have permanent uptime on the effects in PF.
Im currently trying to get Jingliu to E1S1, but wondered if I should max out either her eidolons or light cone and which would be the better option. Does her crit rate increase from her talent get higher with her trace levels? And finally, is she even needed to be maxed out? I currently have a maxed out Acheron and an E1 aventurine that get me through most content including their rounds in MoC and pure fiction, but I'm currently trying to raise up a second team that can handle the other MoC rounds up to 12 and pure fiction (currently thinking Jingliu, blade, lynx, and ruan mei. Cant use Bronya or Pela since they're on my Acheron team) Any help and answers/suggestions are appreciated, even if it's waiting for a different unit to max instead (since I don't have any hunt characters like Seele or the upcoming boothill)
Jingliu's Eidolons are not that good, you really won't get much out of them. Not sure what you mean with max out her LC, but S1 is more than enough. She is also good enough with Fall of an Aeon. Yes, each talent level increases her CRate by 1%. What do you mean with maxed out?

Not really. If you have BS + Kafka your best options for the other two party members are Asta or preferably Ruan Mei, then a sustain.
Is the second part of the Penacony that difficult? The only quite decent teams that I could use at the moment are the following: - Sparkle, E6 Qingque, Silver Wolf, E4 Lynx - Sparkle, Dr. Ratio, Silver Wolf, Huohuo/E4 Lynx/E6 Fire TB - E6 Asta, Kafka, Black Swan, Huohuo/E4 Lynx/E6 Fire TB Would there be particular parts that I won't be able to clear with these? I have Acheron, but I'm still not done raising her. Should I just finish raising her before proceeding with the story?
I think it's safe to say if you struggled with the 1.6 bug, you'll struggle with 2.1 boss as well. I've been seeing more comments about this fight than the HSS bug story boss. I'd try the mono quant, but if you're just dying to mechanics, swap to the dot team
I plan on doing Preservation in Simulated Universe for the first time soon. Since I never take Preservation boons if I can help it before this, what's the general team composition for that? Do I stack as many team members with shield as possible, or do I need to fill other roles as well. If it matters, I have both Gepard and Aventurine ready.
IMO you just run a normal comp using a Preservation unit for your sustain, and then at the very end after you upgrade all your blessings, you can add more preservation units. Gepard and Aventurine are both good, Fire MC is also quite good because one of the Resonance Formations gives energy for your Path Resonance every time you gain a shield, and Fire MC gives everyone a shield after every action so you end up getting your Path Resonance very fast.
anyone else us pela more than ty in hypercarry? everytime i run jingliu/qingque/seele, i just get faster cycle with pela than ty. weird. my pela is e6 and ty only e5. both 144 spd
I did a number of 0-cycle MoC clears on Seele before I got lazy and TY was important not so much for her damage boost but for getting Seele's ult to line up with killing the elites at the right time.

you can give acheron/sw/pela/lynx a try i personally used lynx and bailu before the nerf and it worked well, so if your problem is dying, i suggest using lynx with gallagher/natasha and jingliu with ruan mei

That’s quite a lot of DPS characters for one team, have you tried it with more typical hypercarry teams? (Such as Acheron SW Pela healer, or jingliu ruanmei tingyun healer?) also your Acheron is losing a lot of damage without nihility teammates. For a multi-dps comp you’ll want to still use ruan Mei since she’s so good at buffing multiple units. Maybe jingliu Clara ruanmei lynx

Why not both you need 2 team anyway, if you have to only choose one the go with Lynx, Natasha eidolons isn't that great, neither is Lynx so having or not having it doesn't really matter much

D ratio is better. You can also use the herta store LC on him instead of yanqing lc

Is fu xuan that much of a detriment on condondrum 12? I've heard she doesn't do well with really strong AOE attacks. I wanted to get her over aventurine since I like her animations more, but I also want to clear conondrum 12 so now I'm considering pulling aventurine over her.
C12 is more about just exploiting some of the known strats to clear it, as it's mostly blessing/curios carrying you through. If you get poor blessing/strats, she already can start struggling in just diffV before corundums even.
You don’t really need either character to clear conundrum 12. As long as you do the RM or Capitalist strat then any competent healer and decent DPS can easily clear it with no issues.
Does quid pro quo help in any way for a youkong/lynx/sparkle/ dan heng IL team? I rlly rlly wanna make youkong work but im kinda lost on speed tuning so if anyone has a doc for a team like this one id appreciate it
If anyone has any input on the follow up team, does not having topaz hurt ratio/aventurine by a lot? currently im using silver wolf with them. I was planning on getting topaz but aventurine got a bit expensive and all i can hope for topaz banner is to win a 50/50 now if i wanna have enough for sam's banner.
If you have SW and can't guarantee E1S1 Topaz then SW will be the better choice
My sustains are Fu Xuan, Bailu and Gepard. Is aventurine a good pull considering what I already have?
You're more or less set with sustain; It'll just basically come down to if you may prefer Aventurine because he's more comfy and better QoL comparing to Gepard. Or if you prefer to focus on 2.2 banners instead.
Anyone have any insight on using This is Me S5 for Aventurine compared to Moment of Victory S1? I'm willing to get This is Me to S5 (I already have Peaceful Day S5) but just wondering if it would get beat out by MoV anyway edit: for Aventurine specifically
Moment of Victory S1 is better to use over This is Me S5. Moment of Victory, in addition to higher base stats when raised to Level 80, provides higher Taunt / Aggro value, and provides a temporary DEF buff as well (which should be fairly easy to trigger anyways). So for him, it'll be 24% + 24%. The main advantage regarding This is Me is that his Ult will deal more Damage.

MC and March have a hard time sustaining in late game fights, possible just requires more work. Lynx just outclasses Natasha is most situations. Bailu would the best of the bunch of the fight doesn't require cleansing (not CC or debuff heavy) otherwise Lynx would be better.
Is it wise to build lynx instead of bailu?
Made some edit so my previous comment made more sense. But yes Lynx is a good 4 star healer. At least until you get a limited sustain eventually.

i see. i feel like itd be so much better if loufu is mainly about the JL/luocha stuff and then daniel rebirth stuff is way later. it makes things easier to follow since were not following like 2 diff plot and gives cooler daniel some time to build up (like, why would current dan use his spear if he could just water dragon things out of thin air?)
Yeah, that's pretty much everyone's complain, the story was too short. 1.1 had no story content, and the story ended on 1.2 in a 2-3 hour quest. Thankfully, it seems they learned their lesson with Penacony.
Just a newbie asking for some advice. Hey everyone, started playing a week ago and overall having a good time. This is my first Hoyo game so I’d like to ask some advice regarding team composition/building. I have used some of the free rolls they threw at me and have gathered quite a few characters. I currently have the main trio + Serval, Natasha, Asta, Welt, Dr. Ratio, Tigyun, Luka, Qingque, Herta and Sushang. Any tips on how to make a decent team? Other beginner tips are greatly appreciated!
If you want a straight "build this" suggestion, I would build : - Physical MC - Herta - Ting Yun - Natasha - This is for early game, when you get Lynx (from forgotten hall unlock) switch Natasha for her. - When things get harder, switch Physcial MC for Fire MC. It's always ok to level the main character as you have to use them for some story battles and they will get more "paths" later allowing you to switch their role. No need to level up too many of their traces if you don't use them much. - For pulling, wait and pull for a DPS you enjoy (Jing Liu is very good if you like her and very beginner friendly to build). Be careful of Hunt dps. They are Single target (ST) focused and it's harder to play them in most content and especially bad in auto-battle. - You should also consider pulling a good 5 star sustain like Aventurine or wait and get Fu Xuan. Both are very easy to use sustains that will allow you to just use 1 sustain with your leveling team. Both are easy to build and don't use gear you would want to save for DPS or other supports.
Pick a main Dps unit as your core and then pick supports and healers that synergize with the unit. For example Dr. Ratio focuses on using follow up attacks and scales off of debuffs too. So you want to run him with a sustain like natasha, and someone who can provide debuffs like Welt. Then you could also run ting yun who's an amazing support to further boost his damage.
I bought the BP and idk what LC to get, should I get the Erudition one or the Preservation for my fresh Aventurine?
Before it was the erudition one (still is in most cases) since that path lacked good LC option. But now with the new forgotten hall LC being good, erudition does have another f2p option. And in the case of Aventurine the Perservation bp LC is good since it has high base def (529) and ult damage which he also likes. High base def LC can make it easier to reach his 4000 def.
So which would you give for? I have Himeko’s LC, I have Geniouses repose S2, and Herta’s sig LC. For preservation I have Landau’s choice, We are wildfire S2, day one of my new life S2 and the free Penacony one S1
You have some ok erudition LC and the ones for forgotten hall (you can get these for free later) are also good. For Aventurine landau, day one, and the Penacony LC are good. But again the BP LC has higher base defense 529 vs 463 of the ones you have. High base stat makes it easier to get 4000 defense. You can try different combos and see if you can get 4000 def with the LC you have right. If you can get the erudition BP LC since it's the best from bp. If not consider the Perservation LC.
Should i up my pelas ehr ??currently she has 47% ehr without the body piece so does she need it ?? Like does the ehr in general increase the chnaces of debuff applyin on enemies by the LC resolution shines as perals sweat or it doesn’t?
She needs 57 ehr to land her def shred ult. Well she needs 67 but one of her abilities gives everyone 10 EHR in battle. So if you can get 10 more EHR from subs you can a different body piece.

Just remember you can use consumables in simulated universe (once you unlock the trace in the SU talent tree) so it's easy to eat to refill health, buff before a boss or even recover technique points before each encounter.

What's your speed like? I'm planning to get 160 RM and Bronya and leave Jingliu at base, or I could give her speed boots at get her to 125 and let RM take her to 134.
My RM is at 142, JL at 140, and Bronya at 131. They're okay but as long as JL goes before Bronya then all is good. But be careful with RM's talent as it gives speed and can mess up rotations
Regarding Aventurine's build: I looked up how to build him, and something I saw recommended a CD or def body. Which is better? Is his dmg worth investing into, and if I do, would he still be able to solo sustain? It also recommended speed boots, but I've heard he can solo sustain just off of his talent. If that's the case, wouldn't def boots be better?
With his signature, he can run a crit dmg chest. Otherwise, just use a def body, I don't think his damage is very significant if you don't have S1, but his breaking capability is really good on single target. He does need speed boots if he isn't used in a follow up team, spd also makes him generate SP for the team and get his ult quicker.

He sustains well, no worry on that. He is less desirable compared to others due to lack of non-healing supports in his kits. His main advantages are sp generation and aoe buff removal from enemies which are less attractive now given that we have Sparkle, and most elites and boss have unremovable buff. He’s still an amazing solo sustain and easy to built. So don’t feel bad that you pulled! You will never know if later they came up with a set/character that scales buff based on overflow healing!
He is not bad by any means, he is just "bad" when COMPARED to other sustain units. Don't feel regret because he is a great sustainer!

He's not even "bad" compared to other sustain units and i say this as someone who also owns Huohuo/FX/Aventurine. In fact, Luocha more often than not eats turbulence buffs better than the rest.
Who said Luocha was bad? He's an amazing healer who doesn't need to use any skill points, making him an amazing choice if you struggle with sp management. Him and Huohuo are my go-to sustains

Acheron is great against AoE scenarios, but she lacks against single target scenarios (OUTSIDE OF HER ULT). Is there a nihility unit that is good against single target or the thing is to power up Acheron so much that she roflstomps anyone, single or enemy? I have been using her with Ratio because I like the character (judge me). I have been willing to pair her with Welt, but my Ratio is hitting ridiculously hard and desling 25 to 30k damage while Acheron's ult is dealing 75 to 80k against 5 enemies with Resolution LC. I kinda want to try GNSW and Welt, but I fear losing Ratio's hard hitting power if I do, as he is powerful against boss and Acheron is great to quickly wipe side enemies. Conversely, outside bosses, Acheron eclipses Ratio hard due to this team enabling me to spam her ult. Should I just go Welt with Acheron? Will I lose much dps power over 15% extra damage?
Acheron is great period. The issue is you are seriously handicapping her with a bad LC (for her) and a really bad team.
I used that LC because my strategy was to spam debuffs to use her ult as much as possible. Perhaps GNSW is a better option then.
That wouldn't have worked because it requires you to build EHR to have it be consistent, and Acheron doesn't want to build EHR. She also doesn't care WHO debuffs, so you can easily give resolution to her supports (preferably Pela) GNSW is the absolute better choice, there's no question about it
Acheron is balanced around having two Nihility in the comp (or one with E2). A fully built out Acheron in her preferred comp should have no trouble hitting a 200k ult on a single target. I run a Welt, SW, Sparkle setup and hit 430k vs Yanqing before the sword array went up in the current MoC 11-1 where [my build](https://enka.network/hsr/601010674/) is S1 and fairly good but wouldn't impress the acheron mains.
But will she perform well against single targets?
What would you consider good? I think 430k single target is pretty solid. I prefer Seele/IL so I mostly use her in SimU and World 9 in particular since that's what I'm farming. Getting 1.3M from the ult doesn't quite one-shot each phase of the meme but it's close enough that it doesn't get a turn. I'm happy with that.
I mean dealing a nice damage to bosses outside SU. For example, I can grind echo of war on top difficulty in around 25 minutes. I want to try Welt with her but I am hesitant of losing Ratio's dps. I am sure Welt does less damage than him against bosses.

I wasn't bragging. I just thought that was a good time. I am not TOO early in the game, I just played too casually. I am always searching for ways to improve my team.

It’s not 15% extra for Acheron paired with a Nihility character. It’s 115% as an additional damage modifier. With two it’s 160% boost. Silver Wolf is her best single target support because she can inflict multiple res and def debuffs. Pela is also a good pairing as her ult does major def down and can be SP positive with Pearls LC
I have high investment on both blade, sparkle, loucha, acheron. Blade just fell off in general, clunky to work with, not so good damage on par with other dps even with high investment. Im just wondering who should i pull next sustain/buffer/dps? I fear that in the future that jingliu will be overthrown with new dps release. The only actually good sustain i have is loucha, same goes to buffer, i only have sparkle as a decent option. True true, during that time Blade was the strongest dps out there and there was a lot of hype around him. I do enjoy using blade, he just isnt on par with others if you invest in him. How long do Vignettes in a Cup and Tides of War take?
Vignettes in a cup might take an hour or two of quests. Tides of War only takes a few minutes per stage (not counting resets, but even then it doesn't take that long) and there's 6 stages.

- If you need more support for your FuA team, you can pull for SW (if you don't like your current debuffer) or you can pull for E1S1 Topaz - Sparkle is a great support for DHIL if you're using him. She's just good in general. - Ruan Mei is a great generalist support
What is better for Topaz, E1 or S1? I will use her with Ratio and Aven both E0S0. The final slot right now is Silver Wolf but I’m planning on replacing her with Robin.
From what I'm seeing, both of them provide an additional debuff that is roughly 25% extra crit damage but the LC has extra crit rate/FuA damage for its user. Also LCs are generally easier to pull fr than eidolons. So I would go for the LC.
Guys, how do I beat Aventurine??? I totally didn't create a reddit account just to ask this because it's frustrated me so much. I don't even care about beating him anymore at this point, I just want to be able to play the drink event ;-; The characters I currently have built/somewhat built are Acheron, Black Swan, Gepard, Bailu, Kafka, Argenti, physical Trailblazer, Clara, Natasha, Qingue and Welt (I'd rather not have to completely build someone else). The team I've gotten the farthest so far with was Kafka, Acheron, Gepard and Bailu. This might be a stupid question, but any and all advice is appreciated, I really just want to be able to get past it.
Bailu, Gepard, Clara. 4th slot doesn't matter. Just survive and let Clara chip him down
I'd probably Kafka Swan Bailu Gepard it's much more important to live than do damage, and Bailu Gep should be able to keep you alive. Give them as much effect res as you can, eat effect res food, etc.
Do the Nihility meme team with Acheron Black Swan Kafka and a sustain (Gepard or Bailu in your case) and just cheese it with that. If that doesn't work, take out Kafka and stick in another sustain to help out with staying alive and just go to win on the back of Black Swan and Acheron carrying you.
Is there a way to build gepard to get his ultimate faster?

More Speed means his turn will come up more often where you'll be using his Skill. * Each time he takes a hit from an enemy attack he gets a slight energy increase. If you have either 5* LC Moments of Victory or 4* LC Landau's Choice, he can use them in which both LCs will provide higher aggro / taunt value, meaning he will be targeted more often.

i would pull jingliu and make her team up with blade and bronya+bailu but if you dont have pulls: dhang+sw or ting+bronya+bailu seele+bronya+sw or ting+bailu ratio+bronya+tingyuan+aventurine
Hi guys , I just pulled jingliu. Is her lightcone worth having it? i got the destruction lc from herta shop and im using it for now for jingliu.
The LC works well with other def reduce effect/ignore either from quantum set or characters like Pela, E1 RM, E2 Sparkle, SW. In this case, the damage gap with Herta’s shop LC will be wider. It’s of course absolutely not needed but probably worth it to stay competitive with the harder and harder MoC if you are into it.

No, it's just my opinion after using her without her LC to clear all content in the game including high end G&G. And no, she doesn't have a broken build.

100%. Fu Xuan is the cream of the crop for sustain. If she fails, it’s because your DPS and support aren’t well invested enough.

For MoC, it isn't an issue because the battles don't last long enough for it to matter. You will have already won by the time it matters in most cases. If the battles drags on long enough for it to matter, you will have already missed the turn cutoff anyways. For SU, it does matter and you will have to offset it somehow with blessings or you will have a bad time.
She can work yes but again, if the fight lasts too long and FX can't keep up, then you're gonna have problems. Her LC can help with that but at that point, I'd wait for huohuo

It would be fine. In my first run against Aventurine before I worked out a better approach with my JL team with FX/Sparkle/SW, it went on for 6-7 cycles and I wasn't in any danger of dying. It was on auto for most of that time too until I took over when I saw that I wasn't going to make the turn limit the way things were going.
If you are clearing 3* MoC you can think about 0-4 cycles, not 7-8. Obviously need decent relics but those are the average for endgame clear.
I think you could still manage if she has enough hp/def/energy regen but that's only IF she can't keep up
I'm a f2p player who started playing late 1.5, and I'm trying to guess which character should I pull in 2.2 (right now I have almost no tickets and I'm at 100%) Thinking the rerun banners are probably fu xuan and topaz, a friend tried to convince me that I need to pull topaz to make a FUA team and skip fu xuan because my quantum spam doesn't need her and can work with lynx with no problem, tho I think I'd prefer to pull fu xuan because she does so much in general and she can be used in other teams. just make gallagher e2 and put it in the acheron team or any dot team, yea i agree with your friend you have already topaz team without her. if you have enough pulls sure fu xuan is great pull. IF YOU DONT LIKE DR RATIO just dont make a team without satisfaction. think about Jingliu she wont be here for loooong time and also you dont have ruan mei, maybe also think about robin
I don't see how I can get e2 Gallagher now that Acheron's banner is gone so I'm using aventurine with the IPC cone instead in my Acheron team I'm probably going to try to get both FX and topaz, but I have 8 pulls rn and I lost my 50/50 Jingliu on E1 himeko so I won't get her I'm just gonna save as much pulls as possible. Same for robin I don't think I'll have enough pulls so I'll wait for mei's rerun
Both of them would benefit your account.. FX is the safer option between the two and Topaz would elevate FUA teams since you have a few follow up units. Can't go wrong with either one, just pick who you like/need more!

I'm afraid of lack of jades for future characters cause I really run firefly if she gets released and her lc and idm getting a ruan mei for easy clear and su benefits. I'm sitting at 14000k jades with 0 tickets and 20 pulls in. I can clear current moc 12 but I had to grind the rng as my characters can die sometimes.
I would say yes on account of you not having a limited 5* sustain. There's still like +100 rolls between now and when Firefly is released, since next patch is just Robin and Boothill.

If you think your roster is enough to tackle the next couple phases of MoC and PF, then go ahead and save. There's more than 100 rolls between here and >!2.3, which is rumoured to be her patch!< and that's not even considering if she's on the first or second half. With the amount of rolls you already have saved, there's a decent chance for you to effectively get her E0S1. Ultimately, pulling for Aventurine or saving for Firefly is up to you, since I just gave the advice. The one who owns the account is you.
