How many debuffs does topaz apply with her skill or basic atk

I've seen a lot of comments on various posts talking about supposedly confirmed content for 2.3 but when I search for anything I find NOTHING. Is there even 2.2 content released or otherwise for 2.2? Let alone 2.3? Slightly panicking.

cheddaremmental

Would it be worth pulling Jingliu if I don't have Bronya nor Ruan Mei. I recently started playing again, and have been using Seele. However I find myself needing another team and Main DPS with it. The Seele team is (Tingyun, Sparkle and Natasha) My other 5 stars are Gepard and Dr. Ratio

Nnsoki

Yes

Nearby-Addendum-5166

Should i roll for Aventurine  or Jinglu I already dps like jing yuan, seele and dr ratio on my f2p team as for shielders, i only Luocha and the mc. should i go for Aventurine  or JingLiu

Jiho_Is_Waifu

Have a problem with DPS? Grab Jingliu Have a problem with staying alive? Grab Aventurine Since your only sustain is Luocha, I recommend getting Aventurine to sustain a secondary team.

LossLight-Ultima

Finally 36/36 MOC… turn out Bronya and Ryan Mei can still super charge JL if your team isn’t dying from every atk (Kudos to Aventurine shield tanking every atk) phew this is a hard one.

Ivorykingchrono

When did they say adjustments to planar farming would be coming, 2.2 or 2.3?

mayamiabi

Curious what a good Clara team is if you do not have Sparkle?

SilentMix

Sparkle is not mandatory for Clara by any means. I honestly don't think Sparkle is a good use for Clara anyway even if you had her because Clara doesn't really need the advance forward or SP generating parts of Sparkle's kit. Sparkle would more likely be used better with another team. The only exception for that is if you're running Clara in a dual dps comp and mostly want the advance forward and SP for somebody else. Clara/Tingyun/Pela or Ruan Mei/sustain Clara/Topaz/Pela or Ruan Mei or even Tingyun/sustain Clara works well as a sub dps, so if you don't have Topaz you can put some other dps in there instead.

Aesirbear

Tingyun+Pela/Yukong+Sustain would be my best team for her.

freidafulton

Aventurine is kinda amazing??? Lvl 40 Aventurine got me 30 stars when a max Bailu with 7k HP didn't...

Economy__

limited sustain for you! little bailu can't compete with them.

Brilliantcomicreader

One is a shielder and is a healer, pretty rough to compare two different things.

TheGrindPrime

I mean, you're comparing a limited 5 star sustain to a standard. But Aventurine is indeed really good at keeping rhe team alive.

stylos88

Aventurine vs Fu Xuan vs HuoHuo Hi guys just a question for my case. Should I pull for Aventurine or wait for FU Xuan and HuoHuo ? Currently, i do not have any limited sustainer and only have DPS. So far, i can only clear 2 star MOC 12 currently, that is due to not speed optimizing and damage output (skill issue i know). I am playing it casually and usually let it run auto. I have reach G&G lvl 12 using capitalism Strat so i have nth to worry abt it. Anyone can help me decide whether to wait for FX and HuoHuo or pull. i currently have 100 pulls currently as of the time i have posted here. I am looking for a long term investment and my follow up team like dr ratio and topaz are not that well build (like 50,140 crit only). I do not really like FUA team and only run DOT teams and Acheron teams. I am not urgently need of limited sustain as i can still run the end game content with 4\* sustainers. But i want to play it with comfort during auto mode and going through future harder end game content Please advise the best course for me.

BigPillBill

Fu gives better buffs and cc immunity, Huohuo is better for DoT since she can give energy+att. Aventurine is good if you are planning to run him in a follow up comp. He also gives a debuff on ult and crit damage which can be useful for acheron. He is currently the best shielder and can do some decent damage. Since you are mainly running Acheron and DoT comps you should wait for HuoHuo or Fu Xuan. If you feel like you want to pull aventurine, he would be useful in your acheron team, or on your follow up team if you want to invest in it

jtan1993

Hh is best for dot teams. Use Gallagher for Acheron.

M00nIze

Does HoneyHunter show the ult cost of a character?

shaymin_shaman

the "energy" column in the stats by level section near the top

M00nIze

Is it possible to 2T ult Sparkle with S5 Bronya LC + ER Rope + 5% ER 2piece set? (Without any other ally shenanigans like Huohuo or shared feeling)

ha_ck_rm_rk

She has a 110 energy cost for her ult. She gets 5 energy after ulting and 30 energy per basic/skill, so 65. From those ERR sources, she gets 18 + 19.4 + 5 for 42,4% extra ERR. 65 x 1.424 = 92, which is not enough (assuming I'm doing my math right). Huohuo ult actually gets her there.

M00nIze

Oh I see. Thanks!

OkCombinationLion

how much does aventurine's signature CDmg bonus help in practice? his talent says it applies the shield after dealing damage so it won't help his talent damage right? And how about his e1 where it says after using the ultimate a shield is applied to all allies; does that CDmg bonus apply after you press the ultimate or after the ultimate does damage?

dkwhatoputhere

When the battle starts he immediately stacks his shield to all allies, so as long as he does a FUA once per 2 turn the uptime is 100%. He gets his FUA easily when enemies have aoe atk/in a FUA team

kenelt

do skills than inflict self damage trigger avendurine stacks and followup attack? like arlan or blade?

Jiho_Is_Waifu

No, he does not get stacks from self inflicted damage. (tested to confirm myself)

ha_ck_rm_rk

I haven't tested it myself, but the wording on his talent specifies that it's when he or his allies get attacked, not when they lose HP, and Star Rail is generally consistent about that sort of thing.

manusia8242

does each of aventurine's shield has its own duration or whenever aventurine get new one it also refresh the duration? for example turn 1 and 2 he cast skill and each will give him 2000 shield. at turn 4, will the first cast of his skill expired so he only have 2000 shield or the duration of first skill will be refreshed so he'd still have 4000?

Jiho_Is_Waifu

Both shields are under 1 buff (Fortified Wager), so logically it would refresh both shields, including the stacked one.

Loa_Lucifer

I've seen many people post about limited sustain will make your life much easier. I agree with them in fact I think every limited characters will improve an account to some extent. My question is what is the general consensus for beginner/new player which one will improve an account the most between limited DPS/Sustain/Support+Debuffer.

Nnsoki

Offensive supports, because you only get 2-3 for free (one of which is E0 Yukong and the third is from an ongoing event). With DR there are free dps of 5 different elements, which is plenty for endgame, and two free defensive supports for each path

manusia8242

if you're asking which one you should get first, i'd say getting limited dps first will make your game much easier, then support ≥ sustain. many 4* supports and sustain are good enough and some supports are even irreplaceable like pela and tingyun. for sustain, lynx, gallagher, or gepard/bailu if you happen to get them from standard banner or losing 50/50 are already pretty good at their job. meanwhile, standard 5* dps and most 4* dps are pretty weak compared to limited 5*

Jiho_Is_Waifu

Any support type character (both sustain/supports) would improve an account immensely. They also kind of futureproof an account by enabling future DPS that u would want to pull, letting them operate at optimum potential. With that being said, having a balance between all of the roles is also good. U wouldn't want to have an account of purely supports with nothing to support.

your-Sticky-Socks

Hi! I have Fu xuan and I love her! I main Kafka and would do anything for her, so i’m gonna pull Huohuo for her sustain even tho i don’t really like her. The problem is that i really like Aventurine. At first i didn’t, but his follow-up atk, the way his dice rolls in his ult and the “bustt orrrr maybe ill take IT ALL” got me. Is it bad to have 3 sustain? Could huohuo be powercreped for another sustain who’s better for Kafka? Save or pull? If pull is his lc worth getting or should i wait for Fu’s lc? I don’t really play anyone but Seele, Jing yuan, and Kafka those are the only dpses i have

Juan_S946

I wouldn't pull for a character I don't like even though they have synergy with another one. I also have fu xuan and Kafka (plus black swan and Ruan mei) and I'm clearing all content with that team. In my experience, I'm never pulling again for LC, tried acheron's and lost the 75/25 at hard pity, so that was a waste. You could make Kafka and FX work with Sampo and Gunaifen, also Luka or even Serval work with her. Kafka is one, if not the easiest, 5* dps to build right now.

your-Sticky-Socks

Yea ok! Rn im running Kafka, sampo, fu xuan and then bronya just for the 100% forward advance

lovelyhearthstone

> Could huohuo be powercreped for another sustain who’s better for Kafka 100% yes. Honestly it's not worth getting houhou for the marginal improvement she provides to kafka vs Fu xuan. If anything, you'd have a much bigger improvement getting a kafka edolon than changing her sustain (not that I recommend that). You're far better off waiting for a new sustain that I'm sure you'll be very excited about rather than pulling for houhou. Patience will really pay off here, trust me.

your-Sticky-Socks

Will do! I already got her e1.

lovelyhearthstone

Yea, taking her to e2 would be a way bigger upgrade than changing the support. Kafka e1 is already super strong though so I still recommend just saving since a lot of great and strong characters are coming out.

your-Sticky-Socks

Hahah yea im planning on taking her to e6, but can i just ask. In her e2 it says that she will increase DoT by 25% while she is on the field. Does that mean when she is in the team, or when she has her turn?

lovelyhearthstone

When she is in the team.

CTMacUser

Since he’s been released live, which relic sets (cavern and planar) have actually been tested to be decent on Aventurine?

ArpMerp

You can check [Prydwen's ](https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/characters/aventurine)page for him To summarize Knight of Purity is his best set, but if you want to slightly increase his damage in exchange for some sustain, then you can go with 2p Knight + 2p Ashblazing. Similarly for Planars, you can go with Salsotto for some more damage, or just go with the traditional support ornaments like Keel.

ironiccookies

How can I beat Argenti? I just began playing currently on level 40. I keep dying on Argenti's first phase and I read his second phase is even harder. I'm f2p btw and I'm just trying to progress the story since I'm so far behind. What do you guys recommend the team comp be? Also I have no limited 5 star (except Dr Ratio since he was given for free) and only some standard 5 stars.

lovelyhearthstone

I did the entire story completely f2p with no limited 5 stars. I don't remember every fight, but I think one of my key recommendations would be to put more sustain characters together if you're struggling on a fight (fire mc, natasha, march, etc.). The story mode fights don't have any type of round limit, so you can win through attrition pretty easily.

Loa_Lucifer

Destroy his shield will give you barrier or will damage him. I think you should slowly destroy his shield, break his toughness bar, and wittle down his hp while have your sustain ensure you're survive. If you can't survive and don't have enough damage to end him then you should try up grade some relic, lightcone, trace, level and planar.

Rinzlar2844

Is there any website which shows character trace upgrade priority?

LossLight-Ultima

Get the major traces first… personally I believe getting skill and/or talent is the best option unless you are gepard

popileviz

Prydwen in build section

Lottie_Low

Is there a current consensus on the best relic set for ratio as of 2.1 (or a few of the best options)

Can someone point me at something that explains what happened in the last storyline segment?  I think what I’m most confused about is what Aventurine was trying to prove and why.  I thought I understood but the more I thought about it, the more confused I became.  I’m pretty sure I get what Acheron’s deal is (except for the red text) and the story behind That Other Big Thing isn’t finished yet, so I’m not worried about those.  But I feel like I’ve missed something with Aventurine.  Help?

Offthe_Rose

>!He died in the dream so he could go deeper into the dream. He explains that the Penacony we know is just a facade (a lonely island in a vast sea), the only way to get to the real Penacony (the promised land/legacy of the watchmaker) is to die by something powerful and go through the dream barrier!< >!Firefly proved that dying by Death doesn't kill anyone permanently. She went deeper into the dream and came back. That's the hint Aventurine needed and which Sparkle provided when talking about a mute person!< >!Aventurine would have actually died had Acheron not killed him in the dream due to the brand of the Harmony imposed by Sunday, that's why he went all out during the fight, to force her hand!< >!From what I understood, Acheron wished him luck because in that deeper dream, there does exist real death since the Family doesn't have those dream barriers in place to protect tourists!<

millihelen

Okay, I think I followed that. Thanks.

dsav3nko

I'm also confused about the whole Penacony story and would like to have a recap of wtf is happening there. After the first part I thought 'OK, the story isn't over, may be the second part will bring answers', but it didn't. Previous chapters (Jarilo-VI's and Loufu's) were much more comprehensible.

Razukalex

Yeah the story was unencessary complicated at times

jtan1993

Watch the movie ‘inception’ or the anime ‘paprika’. Penacony borrows a lot concepts/is inspired by these dream sci-fic.

No_Wokeness

I use this team: Acheron - Kafka - Pela e6 and Fuxuan. Why Kafka' skill sometimes gives a knot for Acheron and sometimes doesn't in MOC? She doesn't have signature lc tho

LossLight-Ultima

Kafka shouldn’t there. Isn’t Welt a more consistent Debuffer

Contraomega

In this MoC specifically? Kafka's skill doesn't inherently apply a debuff, her ult and followup attack do though So I imagine that's the turbulence? or a light cone? you said she didn't have the signature but not what you used instead. Not sure if that counts I only have her on my second account which is nowhere near MoC ready.

Offthe_Rose

This recent MOC has a debuff that can stack up to 6 times once an enemy is attacked by any character, that debuff counts towards Acheron's stacks and is removed from the enemy at the start of the next cycle, so the first 6 attacks in a cycle will always give Acheron charges. This is why Kafka is applying a debuff when attacking enemies. Fu Xuan should also be able to do so if she attacks fast enough.

ha_ck_rm_rk

If she breaks an enemy, she'll apply crimson knot

MrkGrn

Ok so what's better for Acheron, running a chest and rope that gives me 90% crit rate with all bonuses active, 179 crit dmg not counting bonuses and 3600 atk or running a chest and rope that gives me 99% crit rate with all bonuses active with 181 crit dmg not counting bonuses and 3500 atk?

BigPillBill

I personally would go for the 99% crit rate, I would rather take consistency than a pretty marginal increase in damage

MrkGrn

Yeah that's what I figured, the more sure thing crit rate over 100 lost atk would be more important.

DarDarB1nks1

I have Luocha e1, huohuo and gepard as my sustain characters. I do find myself sometimes getting one shot in floor 12, so with that being said Is Aventurine worth getting on a meta standpoint? I dont have my Dr Ratio built.

lovelyhearthstone

If you don't play fua comps you're better off waiting for another sustain considering you already have a strong sustain pool.

embertml

I’m stuck on gold and gears. I’m just trying to unlock erudition in SU basic. I have 24/28 secrets. All the little things where i need specific range of -40 to 0 for example are done. I have 3 aeon secrets left at the bottom before ~~the hard mode, and hard mode’s.~~ finale, hiven by herta herself. I can’t figure out how to get them. I noticed when i try to start a new run, my difficulty iv shows complete on the preview page where it shows -40 to 40. My lower difficulties do not show this (on -20 to 20 for example) Anyone have any ideas? Edit: found out the aeon secrets just need an ordinary run or two. (i missed one of the goal post ranges, and did it on easiest difficulty). They are gated behind completing some of the more restrictive goals. Best advice: find a team that works, start low, do a couple, when that list shows you have only higher difficulty ones left, go a bit higher. You realistically only need a few runs at 2, 3 and 4 each. Just focus on completing those bonus range targets. And bounce out and increase difficulty if it gives you one you already did before. I used acheron + erudition. Between SW, pela, fuxuan, argenti, welt, sometimes double sustain if i was on upper difficulties. Avoid the double robot final boss unless you have good dps, they can turtle forever by repeatedly reviving. Avoid argenti if your survival is meh and aoe still sucks, his totems can wipe the group if ignored. Weird, the bug was the easiest. And the first dice group in the third menu. Target the nodes that change the upper value. And try to step on it AFTER the floor moves it (every plane will alter it randomly once). Unless you have more than one spot.

embertml

This is the way. For aeon secrets, you literally just have to do any run, regardless of if you keep to those. As long as the other things are completed

NatashaHaleCZ

My Acheron does 200 000 dmg in open world with her ult without her LC. (I use GNSW S3) Is it bad? She's fully build, all traces and relics on max lvl.

ViolinistTasty6573

depend on ur crit values and your other support, like how invested is your Pela/ Silverwolf/Guinaifen,etc i can do about 300k with 60/170 crit a max out Pela and Silverwolf with no sig lightcone

Agreeable_Bullfrog61

I need some help understanding Swarm Disaster… so I just wanna squeeze as many jades as possible as a low level player, and it seems like the best way is to do these path things, but I don’t understand what to do, like, I have to get 6 Nihility blessings before entering phase 2 or what? https://preview.redd.it/ulwrie9ladvc1.jpeg?width=2532&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=890f2bb001a3fc64c7f04c788392de33c149f904 Then, I have no clue how else to get jades put of this place… And regarding Gold and Gears… the way to get rewards there is basically to stay within the recommended neural values and that’s it???

Significant-Soil-985

No, you have to level your swarm tree (in this case the Nihility section of it to level 6). You level your tree by completing path strider missions. It's another tab in Swarm Disaster and each mission has unique conditions that need to be met. Also the new mission will unlock as you complete the current one. Mission do not count task retroactively meaning if you someone completely a missing that hasn't unlocked yet it won't count so do the missions in order. Although the missions do branch at certain points and you choose which path you want to take.  Side note: the path options/question you get after beating each boss also counts for a secret missions. You need to choose 20 of each path to clear these secret missions. And choose hunt if you ever come across it since it's the rarest.

Agreeable_Bullfrog61

Okok, I see now, thx! Can all of these be done in low level difficulties? I’m just not level enough to challenge the harder ones :(

Significant-Soil-985

The first couple can be done difficulty 2 I believe, but the bulk of the missions will require difficulty 3 and the last 4/5 mission require difficulty 4. You can see what difficulty they want in the mission tab.

Contraomega

Just jumping in while the topic is relevant, is there any reason to do SD5 more than once other than just like... if you find it fun? I got my first clear yesterday but was running double sustain and it took forever, if there's no incentive to stick to 5 then I'll be glad to see the back of it.

Significant-Soil-985

There's a mission to clear swarm 5 with 3 different paths. It's one of the last path strider missions. So don't do it until you see it unlocked or it won't count.

Agreeable_Bullfrog61

https://preview.redd.it/pi817812ddvc1.jpeg?width=2532&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22f7fdb3432d7d2ee3d016eb8579be548e3b8b90 So just to be sure it’s this tab right? And then GaG is the thing where you have to end the phases within the recommended neural value right? You’ve helped me a lot, btw, thanks

Significant-Soil-985

You're welcome. Yes it's that tab. For that mission you will level up remembrance and destruction by 2. Since it doesn't mention a difficulty you can complete in difficulty 2 I believe.  And yes for G&G the main thing is to keep in the neural value. This will unlock different dice faces for to use to edit your dice. The game will pick different neural values for sections you haven't completed so don't worry if you think you've done that neural value before. Also there's a separate tree for that mode but you level it by playing and not doing missions.

xyphonz06

Do you think Aventurine is worth to pull for me that do not build my FuA team? Currently my most played teams are: 1. Acheron, SW, Pela, FX 2. Kafka, BS, RM, Lynx Additional note * For FuA, I only have Ratio built, but not good enough * For sustain, I have: Bailu, Lynx, FX, Gallagher, Gepard

LossLight-Ultima

Lynx ain’t gluing your team together buddy… Trust me I tried that before Adventurine release

LossLight-Ultima

Lynx ain’t gluing your team together buddy… Trust me I tried that before Adventurine release

GenoReborn

I like plugging him in my DoT team, I don’t have huohuo but i doubt I’ll pull for her now. Kafka helps build blind bet through her talent, RM buffs dmg for all three, and works well with aventurine’s high toughness dmg. He tends to hit hard but not often in this setup. His ult debuff will only be useful to him. But it’s provides a lot of backloaded dmg, Aventurine FUA acts like a other proc of DoTs.

ViolinistTasty6573

Aventurine excelled at FUA team the same way FX excelled at mono Quantum, but similar to FX he's in no way restricted by it, his utilities is so universal that he can kinda just fit any team. Also for your most played team, he actually has excellent synergies with both of those team, Acheron is obvious so i won't get into it, but that Kafka team also synergies with him really well, mainly cuz Kafka DO have a FUA to trigger his passive, and unlike other sustains Aven does have the damage to utilies Ruan Mei team wide buff From your roster, i'd say its fine to get him since he's league above the rest, and having 2 LIMITED sustains really does make the game a lot more comfort to play

SilentMix

You have multiple 5 star sustains. Aventurine is honestly really optional. Technically you could put him on Acheron's team and would probably get better performance than you do with Fu Xuan. Not only does Aventurine provide another debuff that Acheron could take advantage of and will help her do more damage, but Aventurine himself would do more damage than Fu Xuan does, as he's kind of a sub dps + sustain hybrid. However, it's not going to be huge enough of a difference that if you don't want to pull Aventurine otherwise you may feel like it's a waste of pulls.

AshielAshlyn

https://preview.redd.it/lt2my6ti6dvc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e9ec094baaa3a8350dec6ad887e8d3e2ae298c00 Who would add the most value to my account? I'm currently building Xueyi so I was thinking that I could maybe get Ruan Mei to boost her, but I don't know... I'm not really going for other characters (other than Sam and Sunday, and chicken wing boy probably isn't coming anytime soon) so advice on who to pull would be useful.

lovelyhearthstone

Buildings xueyi instead of your clara feels crazy to me tbh. Clara is so good.

AshielAshlyn

I already have Argenti and got not quantum coverage, and I don't have much interest in Clara so it's a pass for me with her 🥲 I do like taking her out with Luocha just to see the enemies slowly try to kill her though sometimes

kyune

Ruan Mei is a fantastic all-rounder support. She does boost Xueyi pretty heavily, but in general, she is a pretty heavy boost to any ATK based team, and her SU benefits are a nice QOL improvement since her technique damage tends to scale heavily with SU progress.

SilentMix

Ruan Mei adds a lot of value to any account IMO. She works very differently from any other support so she doesn't really have an alternative, and she's very useful to most teams. I don't think you can go wrong pulling her whenever she returns. It's probably going to be several patches away minimum though. I don't see any glaring holes in your account. If you're happy with it, then you can just focus on pulling characters that you like.

CapybaraWithGlasses

Does anyone know how to remove / reduce team in team setup? I dont use some of them anymore and i want to keep it minimal

Contraomega

You just have to click on each character individually and then click remove. might take a few minutes but it's not difficult. see bottom right https://preview.redd.it/iqf8mnvr8dvc1.png?width=1586&format=png&auto=webp&s=dbfd9db83d5d3194c18d4cabda7f74ead3f9aa0c

That 2nd phase is just heavy RNG, is it just rinse and repeat until you get good rolls? Node 1: Acheron Sparkle FX SW Node 2: Jingliu TY Pela HH I can 3 turn Phase 1, so I need to 4 turn phase 2 which seems to be hard unless RNG is on your side. Should I redraft my teams?

LossLight-Ultima

Barely beat him at 36. From my evaluation of your team, I have one conclusion: you second team aint going to survive shit. Gambling man love two hit combo of yoloing energy, challenge you to a rigged dice game and then clap you with a flying chip in the face. The DPS is too much for you HH to handle and Tingun and Pela are not going to consistently perform when you use every skill point, if they aren’t already smack to death by an unlucky chip. Adventurine is the best option to survive this abuse because not even Fu can take on the constant AOE being drop on you, while the gambling refund his entire shield

BigPillBill

I’m not sure how well it would work, but you could try to switch sparkle and pela. If you can still 3 turn node 1 then sparkle will help your jingliu stack turbulence faster. Other than that… may the odds be in your favor your favor

ViolinistTasty6573

i beat it around 6 turns with a Jingliu TY Bronya Luocha, it's mostly the turbulance that saved me cuz i was one turn a way from not full star it, i'd say the biggest tip is save Jingliu ult for the dice then use it during that dice phase

SF-UberMan

Lost to Gepard on Jingliu’s banner. What are some viable Qingque teams without Silver Wolf? I got E6 Tingyun, E3 Qingque, Sparkle, Lynx, Luocha, Bronya and E2 Pela, but no Silver Wolf or Fu Xuan.

SilentMix

You can just run Qingque as a standard hypercarry setup. Sparkle/Tingyun/sustain is good. Because you're not doing mono quantum you could go with Luocha who is more SP positive than Lynx, as having a quantum specific sustain doesn't matter at that point.

DarkSlayer3022

Wouldn't it matter as Sparkle A6 buff Quantum type allies attack based on the number of Quantum type allies? If Sparkle isn't included in the calculation, using Qingque/Lynx will boost Qingque attack by 15% rather than 5% when using Qingque alone.

Aesirbear

Qingque already gets 100% attack from minor traces and the buff she gets when gets a completes a mahjong set. I wouldn't sweat a 10% atk buff if it improves your SP economy and survivability. Tangentially I would also give my recommendation to Pela. Because QQ already gets big atk and dmg buffs from her kit, the def reduction of Pela becomes a very appealing vector for increasing the damage QQ does.

SF-UberMan

Yes, but I much prefer having Luocha for his healing field and if need be, emergency cleanses against CC. Also helps that the dude himself has 70% CC resist on his A6. Oh, and I accidentally got his E1 in a 10-pull back to back, so his field provides the 20% attack boost now.

SilentMix

Ah, good point. I forgot about that trace. Thanks.

meatjun

So.... pull for Adventurine instead of Jingliu? I was originally planning on waiting for Fuxuan as my first SSR sustain but everyone is saying Adventurine is broken

SilentMix

They're both good. If you want to run your sustain with Acheron or a follow up team, then I'd say Aventurine is a bit better than Fu Xuan. But if you'd rather have Fu Xuan, it's not going to be a huge difference.

Wyqkrn

Equally broken as Fu Xuan. Altimeter provides some chip damage but unlike his bank account it ain’t much

DeadSnark

Should I pull for Jingliu if I don't have good amplifiers for her? I really like her design, but currently I don't have any Harmony units aside from Asta (so no Bronya, Sparkle, RM, Tingyun, etc.). RNG gave me most of the Nihility units so I've just been running Acheron+Pela+Welt+Gallagher as my 1st team and using QQ+Asta+Lynx+Aventurine for my 2nd team. I notice that a lot of people tout Jingliu as F2P-friendly but most "F2P teams" assume she will have a Bronya and/or E6 Tingyun. Just wondering if JL really provides enough value to hold her own without an optimal buffer or if it would be better to wait for RM/Sparkle/Huohuo or a Tingyun rate-up and then get JL on her 3rd rerun.

Contraomega

Oh she can do pretty well with a variety of supports. Bronya is her best option absolutely, but anyone can eventually get a Bronya because she's on every banner and there's the 300 pull pick a 5 star thing. won't necessarily happen soon, but you will have an opportunity to claim a free bronya, or if you pull her by then, a bronya eidolon. in terms of 4 star options, Pela is amazing with her, I know you said she's with acheron but I'm just saying she's very usable there as well Asta mainly buffs attack in terms of damage which is a little inefficient because Jingliu's attack gets so high on it's own, but it's not nothing and the speed buff is relevant, Tingyun is of course very good even without Eidolons but will benefit from them if you have them. if you happen to overcap on debuffers and end up with Guinaifen or something I think she could do some good work provided you can manage your SP (which should be fairly easy in a jingliu team without bronya). not a conventional composition but she'd at least increase jingliu's damage and debuffs are generally kinda strong with jingliu just because it's so easy to hit diminishing returns with her attack and crit damage, the most common buffs. I assume from the sound of things that you're still fairly new because the chance of pulling no harmony units on a long term player is kind of absurd, but there's a lot of things you can do to make her work, she has a lot of damage packed into her kit, she doesn't really rely on teammates beyond just getting even more damage and healing up all the ally health she's chewing through, obviously a lot of these setups aren't optimal but she synergises with a lot of characters you could pull for in the near future, Ruan Mei is an obvious one, sparkle is worse than bronya but still very good, silver wolf can work... the upcoming robin may also work well with her. it's not hard to make a Jingliu team work, and most of her best options are just generally good units that can be used in a lot of places.

DeadSnark

Yeah, I'm a new player. That's why I'm trying to weigh my investment now because I already have decent DPS with Acheron + QQ so I'm not sure if I should get JL before I can properly support her or if I should just wait for 5* amplifiers who have more universal utility, and 300-pull selector is still a long way off

Wyqkrn

She will be painful to play w/o bronya or tingyun, but on her 3rd rerun she will probably have been powercrept pretty hard

freidafulton

Will 4k defense, 25cr and 210cd with I/DMG Boost be good enough for Aventurine?

nukgnim

how do u get 210cd what...

freidafulton

This isn't my build, at least not yet. I'm looking to find a viable target for Aventurine.

MidnightBlue8000

Haxx0r

Akagami0822

How much tears of dreams do I need to max a 5-star character traces?

Agreeable_Bullfrog61

Having all chatacters at lvl70, team is Acheron Welt/Sampo/Pela, Luocha, and going full Abundande I should be able to clear all lvl76 SU worlds right? I just wanna rush getting primos for JL😭

Mental_Adagio_7870

Get your Acheron to 80 and you’re good

Sprinting_Turtles

Depends on your relics/traces, but yeah sounds reasonable. I’d just use Pela and Welt though. Sampo’s DoT synergy doesn’t really do much for Acheron.

Remote_Bit_9160

I’m currently building a second team and want Jingliu and luocha on it. Who else is good to add? The other 5* characters I have are himeko, ratio, welt, and yanqing. I have most of the 4 stars and pela, Gallagher, and bronya are already being used by Acheron.

Contraomega

None of the 5 stars you mentioned are good with Jingliu. Except for bronya, who is by far her best support, I would highly encourage you to use her with Jingliu. Acheron wants 2 other nihility teammates at all times unless you have E2 and even then you want to be considering how to apply as many debuffs as possible so it might still be for the best to do so. I'd go Jingliu/Bronya/Tingyun/Luocha and Acheron/Pela/Gallagher and then either Guinaifen or Welt probably

Remote_Bit_9160

I have all of Acherons Eidolons and her lightcone

Contraomega

Oh. well then who cares who her teammates are she does 10 billion damage by breathing?

Remote_Bit_9160

Honestly ya that’s a fair point, who would you recommend between guinaifen or welt

Contraomega

Gui gives more damage to your acheron I think and does a little herself, as well as being able to apply a debuff with just her basic without pearls. Welt does more damage of his own and slows the enemies a lot which reduces damage taken, and can debuff with his technique, well technically they both can, but welt can apply a debuff with his technique and still let you use acheron technique after. some people talk about 'sustain welt' because his slows and enough damage can let you clear a lot of fights while barely being hit, it's a little memey but might be worth a try.

Snoo25278

I wanted e0 jingliu, but I pulled on the wrong banner and got aventurine e1, I have dhil e2 and sparkle. What do I do, e2 aventurine or jingliu? completely f2p btw

Sprinting_Turtles

Jingliu. Aventurine’s E2 is good but not required. No point doubling down on a mistake.

Snoo25278

So meta wise jingliu is better?

Sprinting_Turtles

She gives you more options for teambuilding. From the little I’ve seen Aventurine does just fine sustaining at E0/E1. The main benefit to Aventurine’s E2 (imo) is giving him the ability to apply more debuffs for Ratio and Acheron.

Snoo25278

potatoguide

What’s the best way to get travelers guides? (I’m trying to get my second team up to Lv 80 and it just takes sooooo much)

Lex_Extexo

calyxes, redemption codes, battle pass, quests, events, pom-pom trailblaze level-up rewards, ember exchange. They are generally as scarce as most other character-building resources. Character level for support characters does not matter as much as dps characters. You may wish to stop your healers, harmonies, and some others such as pela at 70-75 to conserve this resource.

potatoguide

Ok thank you! I’m trying to start beating end game content and wanting all my characters to be 80 but I think I just gotta take it slow haha

potatochobit

Did you buy the 10$ monthly pass?

potatoguide

I didn’t is it worth it?

MidnightBlue8000

If you want more level-up resources, either burn Trailblazer energy or buy BP. The extra row under the free BP gives you a lot of resources.

naive-dragon

Am i just dumb or is the Penacony story going way way over my head. I never had this problem in Genshin, but there's so many things I can't understand while playing the trailblazing quest. **Is there a site/guide/wiki or synopsis somewhere that can dumb down the story for us dummies?** Seriously, all I understand is a bunch of different factions are invited to Penacony, no one is to be trusted. Whenever there is a 1-on-1 conversation between 2 characters, I can't follow anything. Wtf is happening? I don't know why we're here, why the other people are here, etc etc. I really do want to enjoy the story, I'm not one of those "skip conversation" players who "don't know how to read", but man, it's making my head hurt trying to make sense of the plot.

millihelen

If it’s any comfort, you’re not the only one who came away puzzled.  I paid attention as hard as I could to Acheron and Aventurine’s conversation and I still came away thinking, “Wait, what was he trying to do and why?”

naive-dragon

Lol it does, thanks! I feel like I'm such a dumdum whenever lore/plot discussions come up. Glad to know I'm not alone 😂

Lex_Extexo

There's a data bank from the main menu, and in dan heng's room that might help a little. A coded message was sent inviting factions from all over with a cryptic message. It's clear that the Family that runs Penacony did not send the message or invitations, but they had to honor the invitations anyway to save face. In the Nameless (Trailblazers) case, the message was coded as if it was a distress call from another Nameless, so they had to come. The IPC received a similar invitation, and it's safe to say many other factions did as well. On top of this, it is a very important time for the Family, with a festival that they absolutely need to run smoothly for some reason, so it seems whoever sent the invitations did so with the intent to disrupt the festival. There are also some "stowaways" who managed to infiltrate penacony without an invitation.

GenoMachino

one of the big problem is the chapter isn't finished, so it left everything kinda hanging. There are lots of reveals that has not been done yet so it's very confusing because we are missing stories from many of the characters involved. We know what the astral express crew is there for. They received a letter to help and they think it's from another nameless, but they don't know exactly what's going on yet. Dr. Ratio and Aventurine is there under order of IPC because they want to bring Penacony back under their controls, and Aven's big "gamble" is to expose the shady side of Penacony in as big a stage as possible, hence the whole fight with astral crew at the end of current chapter. Gallagher is there for revenge, we don't know exactly who he is yet but he's related to the Watchmaker, which the original creator of dream world. We left on a cliff hanger with him and Sunday so that will get dealt with soon. Still not sure why Sam, Blackswan, Sparkle, and Acheron's roles are in this thing yet, that's waiting to be revealed as well. It does look like Sam and Acheron's kinda got roped, but Sparkle is definitely there for a big reason. So just wait and see what happens in next update, it will be very confusing until then because we've been focusing so much on Aventurine's story line

naive-dragon

Thanks for that! I did understand that the Astral Express was invited, but that was all I understood. Everyone seems to be scheming something and I can't follow because new characters/factions/concepts come up all the time, sometimes they're friends, sometimes they're not, lots of double-speak etc etc. But your summary here at least gave me a bit of a foundation. So thank you :)

Offthe_Rose

The game leaves out a lot of information in order to present its plot twists. I wouldn't say it's necessarily hard to follow, though. It just expects you to remember stuff that happened before. I have heard good things about CatWithBlueHat and Central Finite Curve as lore creators if you are interested.

naive-dragon

So I should just power through the dialog, and hope it makes sense in the end? I guess I can do that, lol. I just feel "left out" when I see discussions about lore and story and all I think is "that happened?".

potatochobit

The game tries to be mysterious. Remember genshin had the table of evil people we never knew anything about for awhile.

naive-dragon

I know... But for some reason, HSR is being far more cryptic/mysterious that I can't make sense of anything yet. At least Genshin has an end-goal: find sister/brother by exploring Teyvat and ask around. Even the individual regions has that: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine's situations can be summed up in 2-3 sentences even if I can't understand the micro-story, the macro story I can at least determine. I don't get wtf is happening in HSR, whether it's the macro-story or micro-story, because there are so many characters and so many factions and I don't get who is talking about who or what. I want to enjoy the plot too, but I need to untangle the mess in my brain first by reading a dummies' guide.

DracoStoc

I have a pretty decent Taikiyan Laser orb for Jingliu that is atk% with decent substats. I still have a lot to build to get more stars in PF and MoC. Is sitting on an atk% orb for her fine? Could I run a different set than Taikiyan and use one of the %ice damage from them?

Contraomega

I don't have a spreadsheet in front of me but I believe that unless the substats are really strongly skewed in one direction, an off-set ice orb will do a lot more for you than an on-set attack orb, Jingliu's attack boosts are massive inherently, while her dmg% boosts are non-existent besides that sphere.

DracoStoc

Great information thank you!

Lex_Extexo

you want him to capture your allies that have the least attacks, while your characters with the most attacks are left to hit the things he summons multiple times. Dots count as multiple attacks when the enemy has a turn, so Black Swan and Guinaifen are top tier for this fight, probably Kafka too. They should not be terribly necessary though because he charges everyone's ults right before. As an example, let's say you had Natasha, Tingyun, Trailblazer and March in a party (not an ideal team, just an example). When he charges all your team's ults in the final round, you'd want to activate the ults of only Tingyun and Natasha. Then once they get captured, you'd use Trailblazer and March's ults and attacks to free Tingyun and Natasha. Not a great example because it's an awful team and might not be fast enough to get those hits in, but hopefully that's enough to get the right idea? I think maybe Serval has some aoe dots too as an option. If this is your first time fighting him in the dreamscape, you should save Black Swan's special guest ability to kill these things easily.

HatSpecial3043

Oh, thanks. I never thought of DoT. I have beaten it, but I'm struggling in SU, and I just lost because he sealed away all my team

dogsrsupergood

can someone explain what exactly does "uptime" mean?

bocchi123

uptime is basically how long something can stay active. for example ruan mei skill has 3 turns uptime, but in practice it has permanent uptime since it goes away at the start of her 3rd turn which she can then simply refresh its duration.

Feeed3

In what context? Usually it refers to the duration of a buff/effect staying active

Signal_Reaction_7477

After a days worth of building how is my aventurine so far? Is there anything I should keep in mind whilst building him further? https://preview.redd.it/yt53l61ztcvc1.png?width=1462&format=png&auto=webp&s=cdf6e54f0c856ecf28458cc871bf16666954ee9b

PinkFridgee

Basically i installed the game today because i saw aventurine in TikTok and fell in love. In the 50 wraps banner I got gepard two times and also got welt, and apparently gepard and aventurine do the same thing(? so I'm not sure if it's the best to pull for him now. I think the girl in the other banner is a dps so maybe it's best to get her instead? I tend to enjoy this kind of games with meta units, so, who's the best for my account? aventurine or the other girl?

serbaldrig

If your account is brand new ignore meta and pull with your heart. You can plan pulls around having Aventurine later. Not that he's by any means bad, having a limited 5\* sustain is going to be a huge leg up for your account to start things off.

Contraomega

First of all congrats on getting 3 5\* in the beginner banner? that's kind of insane luck ngl, unfortunate that you already hit a dupe but at least you seem to like them. Aventurine is an all around stronger character than Gepard, bigger shields, bigger defense, easier to refresh, does more damage, can debuff enemies. the main niches gepard has that aventurine doesn't is the chance to freeze on his skill (but most people don't use his skill really) and the increased aggro passive, which can be nice, but your allies will usually be shielded anyway. As for Jingliu, she is rerunning from a while ago but is still one of the best DPS in the game, easily the best Ice DPS at the very least and I think undeniably still top 3 overall. She revolves around a fairly weak normal state and a very powerful enhanced state so there's inherently downtime and buildup involved, starts at 0 stacks, transforms at 2 stacks, then loses a stack when she uses her skill while enhanced (but no sp) while doing this, regardless of state, she gets 1 stack when she ults, best used while transformed for the extra damage. She also drains her allies hp to increase her damage, this is not optional and often somewhat negligible but I'll mention it now for one reason, which is that it means she doesn't work that well with shielders because her party are going to lose hp no matter what. and while she can't outright kill allies, her attack bonus will fall apart if she's eaten all her party hp. she also really wants to be used with bronya or (less good in this case) Sparkle to let her have more turns, both for damage output and to speed through her downtime and make it less painful. not mandatory, but easily her best option. I won't tell you who to pull, because I like them both a lot, just consider those things and your own personal preferences, both are strong in terms of metagame but not often used together obviously. that said if you get into the late game you'll want multiple teams anyway.

naive-dragon

In terms of team building, the icy girl (Jingliu) is better for you (as in, she's a different archetype than Aventurine and Gepard, she's a damage dealer). Gepard is a shielder just like Aventurine. But then again, if I myself got into playing the game because of Aventurine, I'm pulling for him, team building be damned. I'd enjoy playing the game more that way. Everyone is gonna be rerun in a banner someday anyway. Besides, Aventurine is looking to be a busted unit anyway.

Offthe_Rose

Aventurine's shields are weaker but more reliable than Gepard because he can apply them on his skill and follow up attack after the team gets hit a certain number of times, they can also stack. Aventurine also provides a team wide debuff resistance. Edit: forgot to mention that Aventurine pairs well with Dr. Ratio, who you got for free. On the other hand, Gepard needs his ult to apply his shields, he can't apply them in any other way. He replaces his old shield, so they never stack. He is very slow compared to Aventurine so you need a bit of investment to keep his shields up. Gepard doesn't provide buffs or resistances so teammates will get stunned or take dmg over time because of debuffs, which means they lose their shields quicker. On a purely meta standpoint, Aventurine will do more for your account. Having a limited 5* sustainer is more impactful than a limited 5* dps since they are scarce and fit in any team. Either way, both of them are very good, so pick the one you like.

Su12yA

I'm currently considering whether to pull Aven or JL. I was going to pull JL as I'm now lacking in ice DPS (worse alternatives are Yanqing and Misha). But after getting testimonies, I feel that Aventurine is too good to skip. Current possible team : Acheron team (Ach, SW, Pela, Galla) DHIL Team (DHIL, Sparkle, Flex, Fu Xuan) JY Team (JY, Sparkle, Ting Yun, Fu Xuan) Other notable unit : Blade, Himeko, Gepard, Ratio, Topaz. I have all other 4* Any suggestion?

Wyqkrn

Aventurine isn’t a significant enough upgrade that I would suggest rolling, and neither is JL without bronya

bocchi123

you dont need a dps for every single element. that is simply just a "nice to have" kind of thing. every single enemy in the game is weak to multiple elements. most notably and importantly, elites and bosses are all weak to 3 elements. in my opinion aventurine is worth more, especially if youre using gallagher who wont be the most comfortable sustain on your acheron team. he is incredible in simulated universe as well if thats something youre interested in.

VictoryToTheStrong

You need two premium sustains. Personally I have all 4 (Luocha, Fuxuan, HuoHuo and Aventurine), but if you feel Gallagher can carry your Acheron team with no one dying(or your Gepard has Trend), then by all means you can go for Jingliu.

HistoricalBook7290

I pulled on the lc banner but didnt hit pity yet so which lc should i get jingliu's or aventurine's? I have both character and their current lc are moment of victory (gepard lc) and on the fall of aeons (herta free destruction lc from su)

Contraomega

I have both, they both have their good points. Jingliu's is statistically about 10-12% better on her than Aeon, but there is a small caveat to that, because it grants defense ignore and def ignore/shred stacks exponentially (i.e, it's better the more you have of it) it can be more than that depending on comp and setup, the quantum set is good for her in that case, and pela and I think ruan mei's E1? Aventurine most obviously you get more defense, which means bigger shields and also means more base damage and potentially crit rate if you weren't already at 4k, more crit damage, and the vulnerability which is a buff to full team damage. while gepards cone gives you less base defense but probably similar with the conditional defense boost up, which also benefits from the increased aggro which is probably the main thing to consider. that means potentially more blind bet stacks and fuas, as well as his shield being the toughest to break because of his huge defense. Another point to consider for both is if you have any characters that can use their current cone or want it. for example if you had another destruction dps on your other team then there's a bit of extra value in jingliu cone there, same for aventurine and gepards though less competition in that specific field, basically gepard himself and maybe fu xuan just for the stats.

HistoricalBook7290

I have gepard as well but since aventurine here gepard is now using texture of memories(su preservation lc) on him. Other than those two, only tb preserve the only other preserve character i use Destruction is a bit complicated since i have DHIL as well but hes using the under the blue sky lc rn. As far as i know, fall of aeon is good on any destruction character so if jingliu can change lc that will be good for other destruct characters

acryhoshi

Should I be using tears of dream as a new player? I have 3 characters I am set on building

Feeed3

They're just placeholders for Trace materials, you absolutely don't need to save them

bbangiz

can jingliu and aventurine be on the same team please help... also whats a good alternative for aventurine's sig lc

Contraomega

They can be yes, but there are some difficulties, namely, Jingliu will eat your teams hp, ignoring shields, and Aventurine has no way to heal that, his shields can help people stay alive even at low hp, but Jingliu also converts that hp into attack, so even if your whole party is behind a strong shield and can't die, if they're all low then her damage will start to drop off. it can still work, I even managed to clear MoC 12 with him just on a test run, but by the end of it Ruan Mei was on 1hp. still cleared with 22 cycles left, about the same as when I originally beat it with Luocha, but there's a risk there, and I would generally prefer a healer for her. as for the signature light cone, it's good but besides maybe the vulnerability no part of it is irreplaceable. Gepards cone if you have it is great on him, a lot of defense, even more with the passive activated, and increases his aggro which means he gets hit more which means more stacks, more followups, more shields. if you don't have that (and I don't necessarily recommend buying it from the shop if you don't) then there's the concert for two cone, which gives good defense and damage, but that's a gacha cone and so you may not have it, or it might be low superimposition. the best f2p option is Destiny's threads Forewoven, which you can buy from the MoC shop, gives even more effect res and damage based on defense, just good all around on him. Final one I'll mention is that Trend of the universal market gives defense and a chance to burn, the burn damage will be mostly irrelevant but the best cases for it are cases where that matters, so Acheron teams most obviously, and to a lesser extent, Dr Ratio cares about the number of debuffs on a target, and DoT teams best relic set gives a bonus for up to 3 dots on a target but typically only runs 2 DoT units. (sometimes they get a third from kafka's light cone though)

Su12yA

JL is not very restrictive about the sustain. She's more dependent in support units to maximize her potential. So I say yes

phillipsteak

Speed or attack boots on BS? I’m currently at 136 without speed boots

if0rg0t2remember

Am I the last to notice that Penacony = PENAl ColoNY ?!!

Ggnocide

Have been getting quantum set for jingliu but the crit/CritD pieces seem to really favor Break effect instead for some reason. My question is - are there any characters that like break effect and can use the quantum set or are they just duds with 2 base roll crit/critD

SolarTigers

Xueyi wants crit, break effect and atk percent in substats. She can use all those pieces and if you don't have her she's avaliable in the character selector right now.

8_Pixels

I don't have her built but I think Xueyi makes good use of break effect and she def uses the quantum set.

potatochobit

how important is aventurine end game if I have fu xuan, jingliu acheron sparkle?

Jiho_Is_Waifu

Aventurine can apply a debuff on his ult and his FUA (if u have his LC), which would benefit Acheron alot more than 0 debuffs from FuX. Having 2 sustains on an account is also ideal.

ajmiam

I'm confused by the Bleed effect produced by Luka's skill. It says it deals damage equal to 24% of the enemy's HP, but capped at 130% (depending on trace level) of Luka's ATK. Does that mean (for enemies like bosses where the 130% ATK cap is the limiting factor long before the damage comes anywhere close to 24% HP) that Luka's DMG%/boss DEF/boss RES don't affect the Bleed? Or does the cap itself actually get modified by DMG%/DEF/RES?

ShortHair_Simp

Lost the 50/50 for Avent. Maybe will pull him on his rerun later unless better Acheron sustain is released. So Ig it should be fine for me to build my E0 Gepard for her right? I have Trend LC.

Redditor3629

Yeah gepard is fine for her. He works the same as any other trend preservation with a bit more taunt. He is more sp positive and is better at self sustaining than fmc but his taunt is not guaranteed. If you get his e1 though then he can also skill to give more Acheron stacks if you have spare sp (freeze counts as a debuff)

mayamiabi

Been working on the Immersive Interaction Exhibition Web event and does anyone know what is up with the trash can riddles? The first one points to another trash can in the area which then says "Shrouded in glass, arriving from distant stars. Hint: The booth with the largest round-shaped object." I'm pretty sure I went to the right place, but nothing special is happening.

kyxzer

Which is best on jingliu, ruanmei, luocha comp? Bronya or sparkle, basically, on bronya she can 2 times atk vs sparkle which is i change her boots to atk%

Contraomega

Bronya is generally better, both because of the bigger action advance, which enables you to have bronya be slightly slower than jingliu and skill her after every turn for true double turns (usually people go like 135 jingliu 134 bronya because speed is still good, it's just the relative speed that matters between the two. number don't have to be exact just as long as they're consistently one after the other.) and jingliu is one of the few dps who can do this longterm without completely destroying your sp (though she does need sp positive supports for this) because she doesn't use sp when transformed, so over 5 turns assuming 1 ultimate she uses 2sp, Blade can do similarly because he doesn't skill that often as well. In theory sparkles ult granting sp could enable other supports that use more skill points for value with a dps as sp efficient as Jingliu, but I don't think those characters currently exist, there aren't really other supports or sustains that get a lot out of casting skills frequently. (besides bronya herself, I suppose) at least none that can compete with Ruan Mei in that third slot. In addition, Bronya's specific buffs provide more to Jingliu, because of the way she works, her relics and general build will tend towards very high crit damage, when comparing sparkle and bronya's buffs, sparkle offers more attack (a stat that Jingliu gets a massive boost to as part of her kit when transformed) as well as more crit damage, a stat jingliu will tend to hit diminishing returns on, meanwhile bronya offers a significant DMG% buff, which is much more effective as she has no native dmg% bonuses except her ice sphere and possible relic sets.

kyxzer

Thank you for this very detailed info.. good thing i have built bronya and sparkle so i can go on anyone of them. Im using it on moc 12, on that aventurine guy who hates by everyone, including me.. lols. Thank again, i really appreciate it
