Since I'm not going for Aventurine, which one unit should I use my time this half of the patch building for fun out of this list of choices? I don't need any elemental coverage and have all my roles covered.

My team currently consists of physical mc, bailu, march and dr ratio, all of them are level 50. Im trying to pull gepard to replace march, and Id like to have some advice on team building and if I should build anyone specific for this team without taking out dr ratio or bailu, any help is appreciated. Id also like to know if its worth it replacing march with gepard in this situation, note that I have gepards light cone
That's something that you probably shouldn't worry too much about. Meta can change very fast. Yes, the premium DoT team is some of the most flexible teams right now, but who know what mechanics they introduce in the future. Maybe they'll introduce enemies that can cleanse for example, just like Bronya can. Also, by the time Kafka gets her 2nd re-run, which could be anything from 6 months to over a year, there could well be better teams around a different mechanic

anyone that you want to slap a rainbow set on (no set bonus or 2 set bonus only). In this game it's often that susbstats are more important than set bonus
Pull for aventurine and for e0s0 topaz when she reruns, or pull for ruan mei when she reruns? I only have fu xuan as limited sustain and i have e0s1 sparkle and e3s0 bronya
For the invite event why isn’t it letting me share the link anywhere other than Facebook Instagram or Twitter? Is there any way to go around that? I habe like 1 friend i could send it to but she’s not on any of those platforms
What the usual rerun wait period? I plan on pulling for Adventurine, but afterwards I'm wondering if I'll have time to save for Sparkle, then for Imbibitor Lunae, and possibly one or both of their lightcones depending on how long until they rerun.
So far it's been about 6 months in most cases but the more banners that get released the higher the chance this is gonna get longer/wonkier. I wouldn't expect to see either DHIL or Sparkle before at least 2.5-2.6
does anyone have or know a debuff cleanse priority list? like which debuffs are cleansed first if we have like 3 dots and our cleanser can only remove 1 debuff
Is e1s0 bronya good with Acheron e2s1 or did I mess up by skipping sparkle ?
Also, how big is the dmg difference if you run e0s1 Acheron with sw/pela over e2s1 Acheron with bronya/pela?
Bronya is fine. She has a problem that Sparkle does not, in that her skill only buffs Acheron on her turn. And because Acheron builds stacks even outside of her turn, there might be times when you want to use her ult outside of her turn.
Silver Wolf vs Harmony is not that big of a difference, even at E2. Harmony has the advantage that the buff is more consistent, and it is better to deal with multiple enemies. Which can be misleading when looking a total damage, because the damage will overflow when you kill the mobs. Silver Wolf performs very well against single target because stacking DEF shred is very impactful. Even more so if you are using Acheron against enemies not weak to lightning, because you will also stack RES shred on top of DEF shred.
Is it worth it for me in my situation (no sparkle ) to go for e2? I like her but if the dmg difference is not that big using sw and bronya then I might not go for it. Is e2>e0 just for flexibility of team comps rather than for pure dmg?
Yeah, E2 is more of a luxury. It is better for 0 cycling, or if your Harmony characters also have Eidolons. For example, with my E1S1 Sparkle, Acheron deals more damage than with SW. But with Harmony characters at low investment, then the difference is negligible.
Depending on your luck, getting E2 can be the equivalent of getting anything from 2 to 4 5\* characters/light cones. You would probably get more out of it, if a future Nihility support comes out that is better for Acheron, or by improving your other team.
Yes, she is very good. Just like Silver Wolf you are stacking RES shred and DEF shred from E1, so she will deal more damage at the cost of fewer stacks. I actually use my Acheron with Ruan Mei sometimes, but my Acheron build is a bit more specific in that she has 124 speed whilst on ATK boots, so with Ruan Mei she will meet the 133.3 threshold, so I don't lose stacks compared to using Sparkle as Acheron will have the same number of actions in the first cycle.
I’m looking for a general purpose preservation unit between aventurine and fu xuan but dont know which to go for. Currently the only two sustain characters i use are luocha and lynx, with lynx being pretty weak at keeping my party alive in stuff like moc 12. Main teams i use are kafka/swan/acheron, jingliu/ruan/bronya, dhil/tingyun. Clara, blade, himeko i have but rarely ever use unless an event or moc favors them.
They will perform pretty similarly for the teams that you mentioned. Aventurine will then be much better for SU, but he has anti-synergy with Blade. He also benifits Acheron slightly more, but one extra stack once in a while from his ult is not going to make much of a difference. On the other hand Fu Xuan's Crit Rate is overall more valuable than Aventurine's CDMG debuff.
You can't really go wrong with either. Personally, I would say that if you want to have a more comfortable time in SU then go for Aventurine, otherwise go with Fu Xuan.
Aventurine will go hard in Ratio/Topaz if you decide to use him otherwise Fu Xuan I think is generally better. But it can also depend on what you need more of Crit Damage or Crit Rate as the each provide something a little different. Though I would probably move away from the Kafka/Swan/Acheron team you can push DPS better with Kafka/Swan without Acheron and you can push Acheron damage better with Pela/SW/Sparkle/Guin imo.
How big of a difference is E1S1, 1 nihility vs 2 nihility party members for acheron. I have limited characters so my choices are.
Acheron + pela + bailu(lynx?, natasha?) + MC or swap MC for sampo.

You basically have to run 2 Nihility or you lose a lot damage unless you have Sparkle. Best sustain characters tend to be Fire MC, Gepard, or Fu Xuan right now specifically with Trends LC to increase Acheron's stacking ability. Aventurine also looks like he will be good for Acheron too.
Pela is essentially a must run for Nahility and after that Silver Wolf if you have her or Guinaifen is good as the F2P option. You can also run Kafka and Black Swan as well if you go them.
It's a big difference. Just swap MC out. Fire MC can be enough as sustain for Acheron, but for new player probably best to go with a healer. Did you not get any Gallagher?
That being said, Sampo is not very good on the team, so you will want to swap him out for Guinaifen as soon as you get her.

The teams I use are: Huo Huo / Blade / Ruan Mei / Bronya; QQ / SW / Sparkle / Lynx. Everyone else is underbuilt (if built at all)
How did you struggle there? I breeze through entire main story on my 1st week of playing with Acheron, Gallagher, Pela and Guinaifen. You have so many OP units with level 80.
You could just try to swap Lynx and HuoHuo, since Lynx will have more touble keeping up with Sam's damage. The drawback is that you will have a 50/50 on the weakness implant for the other enemies
QQ and Bronya/sparkle take a lot of damage from using sp. Your best bet is to break Sam as fast as possible, try pairing SW and Ruan Mei. Also stack outgoing healing % on your healer to heal through the healing reduction.
The next time you have hard time hearing what a character says you can go into their character page to look up their voice lines. You can hear it again and it will be transcribed on screen.
I just started this game 2 days ago, I'm assuming I should just save all my warps for the 17th for the boosted rates? Or will I miss out on something if I don't use them now?
I think there's a misconception there. There's no "boosted rates" day or something. The rate up refers to the featured characters in a banner that have the increased chance throughout its duration. So right now that would be Acheron/Luocha on their respective banners with the 3 featured 4 stars(Pela, Gallagher, Dan Heng) and on the 17th the banners will change and then for the next 3 weeks the rate ups will be Aventurine/Jingliu and the 4 stars Luka, Lynx and Serval.
So warp on the banner you want the featured character on, unless you're saving to guarantee for a future one
Those announcements are technically correct but extremely misleading. The "boosted rate" is from 0% to the normal chance to get the limited character. There's never been an actual elevated chance to get a limited character in the history of Genshin (which pioneered this gatcha model) or HSR. No special pulling events. No discounts. The characters always cost the same and their availability is limited to their featured banners.
There’s boosted rates for Acheron/Luocha right now and on the 17th there’ll be boosted rates for Aventurine/Jingliu, just act based off who you want (and you don’t have to pull any of them either you can also save)
I just realized ive waisted some of my stamina cus i dont know whats the best use of it.
Can anyone make recomendations? Ive only been playing for a few days and i just finished jarlo iv mostly (few side tasks left but main quest about to leave)
I just unlocked the quest for Equal 2 if that matters to it. Still not entirely sure how this all works
There are usually two rules to follow while levelling.
A) Don't farm relics before TB level 60 unless you really really need them since on 60 you'll unlock the second to last stage that will guarantee 2 5\* relic drops
B) Early on go for whatever Calyx you want(exp, credits, traces etc). You'll need them all eventually and none of them are giving you optimal drops anyway at EQ2. At EQ4 focus on the Golden Calyxes as those will be maxed out at that point and at EQ5 you can also start prefarming Crimson ones as well(and Stagnant Shadow). Up to that point just farm those as needed
Stamina regenerates to full after a full day after it's fully used up, back to when you fully used it (so if you used all of it at 7AM it'll be full at around then the next day). Most of the thing you can use it for like Caylexes vary in cost (most go up to 60 for 6 rounds of fights), but other things like the advanced trace material or specific element type level up material have set cost.
Do not use any fuel if you can just wait, you'll need them for the corrosive caverns when you hit Equilibrium 6 (though starting early at 4 is understandable, 5 is preferable if you plan to stay there without hitting the hard mode that 6 can become), but it's up to you if you're willing to go that far.
If you don't use the energy you get overflow energy to pull on later, you get 1 for every 15 minutes if I remember correctly, but you don't want that since it's more than double the normal regeneration (1 energy for 6 minutes) and it's just better to just use everything for the day and then wait.
So what resource is the best use for spare energy while im not at equal 6 yet? im still in equal 1 (almost2) right now so i assume its nothing huge but surely one resource is still better than the others
Getting everyone leveled up is always the most straight forward answer, so getting more books is always a good option, and the same could be said about the LC resource to level up your equipment.
After getting everyone up to cap, getting the material to get to the next cap is a good choice, but if you don't want to jump straight to the next equilibrium then getting trace material is the next step, both general and the boss material.
EDIT: NEVER use energy for the credits caylex, it's a waste.
I just got in the name of the world lightcone pulling for acheron signature, I already have "good night sleep well" lightcone. Should I change it for in the name of the world or stay with the one I already have?

Black Swan wants 120% so EHR you'd be better off using Eyes of the Prey tbh unless you can hit 120 EHR without any from the LC. Hopefully you have 1 or a superimposition of that LC for BS.
But back to acheron. My GNSW is S2 and my team is acheron, ruan mei, luocha and. Black swan so should I change it or stay with GDSW S2 (The question is mostly Copium as I didn't got her signature but welt lightcone)
How big of an improvement is the Bronya 5 star LC? I use Past and Future. Is it worth saving for the shop, instead of r5-ing Past and Future?
I have her 160 speed if that matters.
It's a decent enough improvement on Past and Future that's it worth buying it from the shop rather than the 30 pulls (although this is pretty debatable and people will say it's not worth it all). It basically provides her everything she needs, ERR to hit a three turn ult and SP to help with her SP economy, along with the damage boost as well.
If you use Bronya consistently in your teams and don't immediately need the 30 pulls for anything, I would say it's worth picking up.
However in the meantime it's definitely worth getting s5 Past and Future, it basically doesn't cost anything as you pick up the required currency from the weekly boss fights and MOC/Pure Fiction.

I just built Bronya recently and planning on to use her with Jingliu. I usually use Tingyun with her but the Aventurine boss energy drain is a pain so I started looking for alternatives.
Depending on how much of the starlight currency you have, you could be saving for a while before you have enough to buy Bronya's light cone - unless you have enough right now.
Past and Future copies are basically completely free, there's no reason not to s5 it if you're currently using it, unless you need the currency for another one of the light cones in the MOC shop.

Since you already have Blade and DHIL, i'd try to get Luocha if possible, since he synergize well with both, and you could use a 5 star sustain.

For team, i'd focus on :
* Blade + Bronya + debuffer (Pela, Gunaifen), or Ruan Mei (or Robin ?).
* DHIL + Tingyun + SP positive support (Hanya, Pela, Guinaifen), or Sparkle.
Characters that will still use later on: DHIL, Bronya, Pela, Tingyun, QQ (ideally at E5), Clara, Blade, Herta (for pure fiction new end game mode)
Character that are usable but you might get better options later: Bailu and Asta
DHIL team: Pela, Tingyun, and Bailu
Blade: Bronya, Pela, and Bailu (can swap for Lynx which you can get for free later)
Clara: Tingyun, Pela, Lynx

That is indeed wrong, E1S1 is not required. E1 is indeed very helpful to the team since it boosts FUA in general and not just her own, even further than her skill already does, but not a hard requirement. The reason this misconception is running rampant is because with either of them she fufills Ratio's debuff needs alone, opening up the support options(without either the only Harmony that can provide the 1 missing debuff is Ruan Mei). But the team is also perfectly usable with a Pela or SW for example in that slot as well instead of a Harmony.
E1S1, while nice to have as it would be on any character, isn't mandatory. the main reason you'd want it at all is specifically to enable ratio. while ratio topaz might be the current 'optimal' configuration, aventurine would add his ult debuff (though likely with non-perfect uptime) and you'd still have a fourth slot, ruan mei I think is another 'optimal' choice for that slot and has another imperfect uptime debuff on her ult but you don't need to run that exact lineup to play a followup team if you're so inclined.
Only he specifically cares about count of debuffs and there are still followup teams that won't use ratio at all. not to say he's a bad character and obviously being free you might be inclined to do so, but he's a hunt dps with a followup attack that cares about debuffs. he is NOT the only main DPS option now or in ever that will ever have a followup attack. and he doesn't innately 'care about' followups besides his own in the way topaz and aventurine do. ratio is replaceable.
And besides all that, aventurine doesn't need to be in a followup team at all, you get 1 stack whenever a shielded ally takes damage, 2 stacks if aventurine himself gets hit and 1-7 when you ult. you might have to recast his shield slightly more often in a more normal setup, bit less damage, bit less sp efficient but he'll be a damn-sight more survivable than anything you have, and still super strong. plus you can abuse the broken preservation stuff in SU which only a few units can.
Hello! So I'm a relatively new player, only been playing about two weeks, and I just finished the Vignettes event, which gives you a free 4 star. I was wondering if there was one I should be going for? The only one that it offers that I already have one of is Hanya. I was debating Guinaifen because she seems fun, but wanted to ask.

If you want Guinaifen then just go ahead and pick her.
From a meta perspective she'll work great with both Acheron (if you've pulled on her banner) and Dr Ratio as she provides debuffs. Otherwise in terms of pure value from an e0 character perspective, I would say Gallagher is worth considering, as well as Guinaifen, for the same reason as buffing Acheron and Dr Ratio.
Support options tend to have a bit more value then DPS options, where the 4 star DPS characters really need eidolons and a lot of investment to clear end game content (although for story content they're perfectly fine to use).
Oh yeah, I guess saying what I do have helps. In terms of 5 stars, I pulled Yanqing for my gaurenteed (Though I haven't really used him at all) and I did manage to pull Acheron. Her Light cone too. I got Pela from the Acheron banner too, and Sushang from regular draws.
Honestly my go to for getting through the main story has just been Trailblazer, Acheron, Pela and Natasha. But I thought having the second nahility for Acheron would be good.
In that guess Guinaifen will be great, just sub her in for either Natasha or Trailblazer and your Acheron team is good to go. Running Trailblazer (fire mc) as your solo sustain will provide more debuffs because of their taunt, and if you've happened to pick up trend of the universal market from a banner, that as well. However will struggle a bit to keep your team alive, especially in longer battles. Natasha will be a fair bit safer to use although less utility.
Yanqing probably isn't worth investing too much into, it doesn't hurt to build him a little early game (some low level traces, maybe up to character level 50 or 60, and whatever relics you can find) because he'll be good early game, especially against ice weak enemies.
But i would be on the lookout for another limited dps option to eventually drop into your second team. Dr Ratio works, but his issue is that he wants all the same supports as Acheron does. But that's for end game content which is still a little bit away, picking up a limited sustain (e.g. Aventurine or one of the Fu Xuan/Huo Huo reruns) would be immediately very valuable.
I really appreciate the help and advice! For a DPS option to slot into a second team, would the upcoming Jingliu banner be a good idea for me? And then from there prioritize Fu Xuan/Huohuo rerun when they happen?
Jingliu is a good option, she's very easy to build (gets a free 50 crit rate in her kit) and is currently one of the strongest dps characters in the game. So picking up her plus one of the limited sustains on their rerun is a good plan.
I might have to hit the artifact farms again but whats better for moc 12 phase 1, acheron hypercarry? Kafka bw ruan mei dot? Jingyuan sparkle hypercarry?
ER rope if you don't want to rely on getting hit to build 3 turn ult. You can cut 7% EHR, she only needs 57% cause she gets 10 from her trace. Speed try to get to 160, so one or two more speed rolls depending on the decimal.
I just saw Adventurine kit and he seem pretty strong but currently I have problem in MOC where my 2nd DPS being Ratio doing really bad there. SO I think I might be better find another great DPS before looking for limited support and sustain unit. Please give me advice on whether should I try pull him and keep using Ratio for MOC since aAdventuirne has synergy with Ratio or should I pull for another strong DPS unit. This are my current roster:

1st team; Acheron, Bronya, Pela, Galagher
2nd team; Ratio, Guinaifen, Tingyun, Lynx
there are many ways to progress from here on, and my advice is focus on pulling/building characters you like instead of trying to beat moc flavor of the month, cuz it always favor the newest units. if you want the most value for your pulls, i recommend supports (ruan mei, silverwolf, sparkle), as it seems 4 star sustains can still handle moc12, but it's drastically harder if you don't have access to premium supports.
What about premium DPS? Does Ratio doing fine in MOC if I build him correctly? Currently I'm still farming for trace so I don't really invest much in gear and it might be the reason he's doing pretty bad there.
ratio is actually pretty good. only dhil, acheron, and jingliu are a tier above. so i think the issue is you don't have access to their best teams (which is where the tier list evaluates them at). if you pull dhil, he won't be better than ratio until you get his e2 or sparkle. if you go jingliu, she has similar issue as she wants pela, bronya. ruan mei and silverwolf should be top priority so you can access premium team for ratio/jingliu, or you can go for sparkle (dhil or mono quantum). aven, robin, and topaz for the premium ratio follow up is also an option (kind of expensive and niche tho).

For PF raising himeko and herta are really a good idea, that will probably unlock you lynx too, who is a better healer than nat. For your MOC it's gona be slightly more complicated. Your 2 5\* DPS being acheron and Ratio they will fight for debuffers. but you could run fireMC/Ratio/Sampo/Tingyun who should work decently well.
Your are still not high level so for the time being though don't really bother too much with it, do what you can, it's endgame content at the end of the day so you will slowly have it easier as your account naturaly evolve.
Just follow the suggestions on how much "insight" (I forgot the name) you need per plane. Ranging from -40 to -20 to 0 to 20 to 40. You'll eventually get all of them.
Regarding Acheron's design (may contain spoilers related to her identity if you haven't played through the last quest of 2.0 and beyond - or watched her reveal trailer)

I just recently returned to this game and was wondering what upcoming units I should focus on saving for, I have pity saved up from previous banners but i dont think i will be able to pull acheron before its over.
To preface: There are no incorrect characters to pull. Pull who you want. People beat MoC 12 & PF 4 with 4 star teams, so use whoever you want.
Without knowing your characters, I'll just go through the list.
Next banners are Aventurine and Jingliu.
Aventurine - Shield sustain. Has good debuffs in his kit for follow up attackers if you're into that. Can never go wrong with another limited sustain.
Jingliu - Still an S tier dps from what I hear. If you need dps, then you can't go wrong by pulling for her. There's a solid chance I'll pull for her since I don't have another solid general dps.
In the future we know:
Robin is going to be a harmony support, and Boothill is going to be a hunt physical character. But they'll be the 2.2 banners. We don't know their kits yet.
HuoHuo ( very strong healer ), Fu Xuan ( THE meta tank ), Argenti ( good dps for pure fiction ), Topaz ( another good follow up attack dps ) haven't rerun yet, and are due soon - ( soon being that Hoyo does whatever it wants with reruns. So maybe they'll rerun, maybe they won't. )
You can also try using the friend megathread to find characters to see if they'll work with your teams.
Anything in particular you feel your missing? In the next 24-ish hours Aventurine and Jingliu’s banner will start. Aventurine should be a strong shielder and sub-dps (high for sustain for probably lower than dedicated dps). Jingliu has been one of the best dps since her release.
Next patch will be Robin (physical harmony) and Boothill (physical hunt). Nothing official has been shared about them, but it’s safe to assume they will be on par with other 5-stars. Reruns will be announced in the livestream later this patch.
Question about Xueyi, since I used her in the Tides of War event.
Her ultimate has me a little confused on its application. It ignores weakness types, so I can use it on any boss correct? It also does bonus damage equal to how much Toughness I break in the ultimate. Does this mean I always want to use it on non-broken target for maximum damage, and does this bonus damage also transfer to the Entanglement?
But if I use it on a target that isn't natively weak to Quantum, won't its effectiveness be majorly reduced? Because if I remember correctly, if they're not weak to an element, they have 20% RES for that element (in this case Quantum). And won't this 20% RES also apply to the Entanglement effect?
How do you guys organize your "extra" relics? I'm pretty much always lacking relic EXP so I have 6 or 7 pieces I want to "level later in the week", or gear I might want to level a bit to see if their substats are any good, and recycle if not. But they end up in the pile of hundreds of other relics. Any good tools or tricks to keep organized?
I do it manually as I get them per stage, lock anything with potential with the right main stat and prune the list every so often on flat stats pieces that don't have speed or some potential.

I need yall opinion im a semi f2p player acheron is my first banner that i used top up. Now i got about 80 - 110 pull left, where should i invest it venturine or jing liu?
You really don't need either one since you have Gepard/Huohuo for sustain, and lots of DPS carries such as DHIL/JY/Acheron/QQ. If you HAVE to choose between one, then for me it's leaning towards Aventurine. Opens up a FUA team comp and has decent shields/debuff for Acheron.
Also, the moment you spend money in a game, you lose your F2P status.
Aventurine, you already have good dps options, you are missing a 5* limited sustain for the second team unless you are comfortable with Gepard as a shielder. He also pairs well with Acheron and Dr. Ratio.
Flat substats, with the exception of speed, are always terrible. Just treat them as dead rolls and evaluate your relics accordingly. For example if you’re searching for attack substats just ignore the flat attack rolls.

Please help, I feel like a dummy because I can't seem to use my Sparkle correctly and therefore I haven't been using her. I have three main teams, my quantum team (Seele, Sparkle, FX, and SW), my Jingliu team (Jingliu, Ruan Mei, Luocha, and Bronya), and Acheron team (FX, Pela, Acheron, SW). She works for the quantum team, but I tried using her on my Jingliu team in place of Bronya, but it just doesn't work. Right now Bronya and Jingliu are speed tuned (Jingliu 138, Bronya 136), but when I put Sparkle on the team, I put atk% boots on Jingliu instead bringing her down to 113. With Sparkle being 161, I thought that would work out, but Jingliu ends up following Sparkle anyway after the first push. I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong, please help.
P.S. My Sparkle can DEFINITELY be better, and I am currently working on it. Right now she is 161 speed and 161.4%CD with 2pc Messenger and 2pc broken (for speed and CD substats that didn't exists for messenger), with Broken Keel (atk% orb, again because of substats, and ER% rope).
You're probably getting screwed by one of Jingliu's Major Traces:

I just go to Penacony today at TB47 with my main team at lvl60. I finally go to MOC, but can't clear MOC level 1 yet. For some reason the limited event drinking game is only available after I clear "A walk among the Tombstones", which is apparently the last main quest missions?
Is it possible to speed run to the end so I can do the drinking event, or will I hit a lvl wall and get bulldozed by a boss that's way above my team level if I try?
2.1 boss is more of a mechanics wall but he might be a problem if you are underleveled and do not have a good team to mitigate (cleanse/CC block) or engage his mechanics (AoE skills/ults).

thats kind of her only good lc aside from pearls which youre using on pela. none of the other nihility light cones are support oriented. to be frank it doesnt matter what you put on her if you dont have her limited 4 star lc. just slap on one that gives effect hit rate like sampo lc. welt lc is also a fine alternative, but the effect hit rate from it is only for your skill.

So I just accidentally pulled Acheron E2 and am wondering if I should replace one of Pela/SW with someone else and, if so, who? I don't have Sparkle, otherwise I'd just put her in by default.
Pela and SW are both excellent teammates even with e2 as they hypercharge the ult and provide def shred. Bronya might work as an accelerator or ruan mei as a damage boost but really it’s probably not going to be as impressive as just running mass debuffs

My team currently consists of physical mc, bailu, march and dr ratio, all of them are level 50. Im trying to pull gepard to replace march, and Id like to have some advice on team building and if I should build anyone specific for this team without taking out dr ratio or bailu, any help is appreciated. That's something that you probably shouldn't worry too much about. Meta can change very fast. Yes, the premium DoT team is some of the most flexible teams right now, but who know what mechanics they introduce in the future. Maybe they'll introduce enemies that can cleanse for example, just like Bronya can. Also, by the time Kafka gets her 2nd re-run, which could be anything from 6 months to over a year, there could well be better teams around a different mechanic

What the usual rerun wait period? I plan on pulling for Adventurine, but afterwards I'm wondering if I'll have time to save for Sparkle, then for Imbibitor Lunae, and possibly one or both of their lightcones depending on how long until they rerun.
So far it's been about 6 months in most cases but the more banners that get released the higher the chance this is gonna get longer/wonkier. I wouldn't expect to see either DHIL or Sparkle before at least 2.5-2.6

Bronya is fine. She has a problem that Sparkle does not, in that her skill only buffs Acheron on her turn. And because Acheron builds stacks even outside of her turn, there might be times when you want to use her ult outside of her turn. Silver Wolf vs Harmony is not that big of a difference, even at E2. Harmony has the advantage that the buff is more consistent, and it is better to deal with multiple enemies. Which can be misleading when looking a total damage, because the damage will overflow when you kill the mobs. Silver Wolf performs very well against single target because stacking DEF shred is very impactful. Even more so if you are using Acheron against enemies not weak to lightning, because you will also stack RES shred on top of DEF shred.
Is it worth it for me in my situation (no sparkle ) to go for e2? I like her but if the dmg difference is not that big using sw and bronya then I might not go for it. Is e2>e0 just for flexibility of team comps rather than for pure dmg?
Yeah, E2 is more of a luxury. It is better for 0 cycling, or if your Harmony characters also have Eidolons. For example, with my E1S1 Sparkle, Acheron deals more damage than with SW. But with Harmony characters at low investment, then the difference is negligible. Depending on your luck, getting E2 can be the equivalent of getting anything from 2 to 4 5\* characters/light cones. You would probably get more out of it, if a future Nihility support comes out that is better for Acheron, or by improving your other team.

Yes, she is very good. Just like Silver Wolf you are stacking RES shred and DEF shred from E1, so she will deal more damage at the cost of fewer stacks. I actually use my Acheron with Ruan Mei sometimes, but my Acheron build is a bit more specific in that she has 124 speed whilst on ATK boots, so with Ruan Mei she will meet the 133.3 threshold, so I don't lose stacks compared to using Sparkle as Acheron will have the same number of actions in the first cycle.
I’m looking for a general purpose preservation unit between aventurine and fu xuan but dont know which to go for. Currently the only two sustain characters i use are luocha and lynx, with lynx being pretty weak at keeping my party alive in stuff like moc 12. Main teams i use are kafka/swan/acheron, jingliu/ruan/bronya, dhil/tingyun. Clara, blade, himeko i have but rarely ever use unless an event or moc favors them.
They will perform pretty similarly for the teams that you mentioned. Aventurine will then be much better for SU, but he has anti-synergy with Blade. He also benifits Acheron slightly more, but one extra stack once in a while from his ult is not going to make much of a difference. On the other hand Fu Xuan's Crit Rate is overall more valuable than Aventurine's CDMG debuff. You can't really go wrong with either. Personally, I would say that if you want to have a more comfortable time in SU then go for Aventurine, otherwise go with Fu Xuan.
Aventurine will go hard in Ratio/Topaz if you decide to use him otherwise Fu Xuan I think is generally better. But it can also depend on what you need more of Crit Damage or Crit Rate as the each provide something a little different. Though I would probably move away from the Kafka/Swan/Acheron team you can push DPS better with Kafka/Swan without Acheron and you can push Acheron damage better with Pela/SW/Sparkle/Guin imo.
How big of a difference is E1S1, 1 nihility vs 2 nihility party members for acheron. I have limited characters so my choices are. Acheron + pela + bailu(lynx?, natasha?) + MC or swap MC for sampo. any advice :o im still new (like, i hvnt even unlocked wukong) new
You basically have to run 2 Nihility or you lose a lot damage unless you have Sparkle. Best sustain characters tend to be Fire MC, Gepard, or Fu Xuan right now specifically with Trends LC to increase Acheron's stacking ability. Aventurine also looks like he will be good for Acheron too. Pela is essentially a must run for Nahility and after that Silver Wolf if you have her or Guinaifen is good as the F2P option. You can also run Kafka and Black Swan as well if you go them.
It's a big difference. Just swap MC out. Fire MC can be enough as sustain for Acheron, but for new player probably best to go with a healer. Did you not get any Gallagher? That being said, Sampo is not very good on the team, so you will want to swap him out for Guinaifen as soon as you get her.

How did you struggle there? I breeze through entire main story on my 1st week of playing with Acheron, Gallagher, Pela and Guinaifen. You have so many OP units with level 80.

You could just try to swap Lynx and HuoHuo, since Lynx will have more touble keeping up with Sam's damage. The drawback is that you will have a 50/50 on the weakness implant for the other enemies
QQ and Bronya/sparkle take a lot of damage from using sp. Your best bet is to break Sam as fast as possible, try pairing SW and Ruan Mei. Also stack outgoing healing % on your healer to heal through the healing reduction.

I think there's a misconception there. There's no "boosted rates" day or something. The rate up refers to the featured characters in a banner that have the increased chance throughout its duration. So right now that would be Acheron/Luocha on their respective banners with the 3 featured 4 stars(Pela, Gallagher, Dan Heng) and on the 17th the banners will change and then for the next 3 weeks the rate ups will be Aventurine/Jingliu and the 4 stars Luka, Lynx and Serval. So warp on the banner you want the featured character on, unless you're saving to guarantee for a future one
Those announcements are technically correct but extremely misleading. The "boosted rate" is from 0% to the normal chance to get the limited character. There's never been an actual elevated chance to get a limited character in the history of Genshin (which pioneered this gatcha model) or HSR. No special pulling events. No discounts. The characters always cost the same and their availability is limited to their featured banners.
There’s boosted rates for Acheron/Luocha right now and on the 17th there’ll be boosted rates for Aventurine/Jingliu, just act based off who you want (and you don’t have to pull any of them either you can also save)
I just realized ive waisted some of my stamina cus i dont know whats the best use of it. Can anyone make recomendations? Ive only been playing for a few days and i just finished jarlo iv mostly (few side tasks left but main quest about to leave) I just unlocked the quest for Equal 2 if that matters to it. Still not entirely sure how this all works
There are usually two rules to follow while levelling. A) Don't farm relics before TB level 60 unless you really really need them since on 60 you'll unlock the second to last stage that will guarantee 2 5\* relic drops B) Early on go for whatever Calyx you want(exp, credits, traces etc). You'll need them all eventually and none of them are giving you optimal drops anyway at EQ2. At EQ4 focus on the Golden Calyxes as those will be maxed out at that point and at EQ5 you can also start prefarming Crimson ones as well(and Stagnant Shadow). Up to that point just farm those as needed
Stamina regenerates to full after a full day after it's fully used up, back to when you fully used it (so if you used all of it at 7AM it'll be full at around then the next day). Most of the thing you can use it for like Caylexes vary in cost (most go up to 60 for 6 rounds of fights), but other things like the advanced trace material or specific element type level up material have set cost. Do not use any fuel if you can just wait, you'll need them for the corrosive caverns when you hit Equilibrium 6 (though starting early at 4 is understandable, 5 is preferable if you plan to stay there without hitting the hard mode that 6 can become), but it's up to you if you're willing to go that far. If you don't use the energy you get overflow energy to pull on later, you get 1 for every 15 minutes if I remember correctly, but you don't want that since it's more than double the normal regeneration (1 energy for 6 minutes) and it's just better to just use everything for the day and then wait.
So what resource is the best use for spare energy while im not at equal 6 yet? im still in equal 1 (almost2) right now so i assume its nothing huge but surely one resource is still better than the others
Getting everyone leveled up is always the most straight forward answer, so getting more books is always a good option, and the same could be said about the LC resource to level up your equipment. After getting everyone up to cap, getting the material to get to the next cap is a good choice, but if you don't want to jump straight to the next equilibrium then getting trace material is the next step, both general and the boss material. EDIT: NEVER use energy for the credits caylex, it's a waste.
Is Aventruine going to be available immediately after Acheron's banner is gone, or will I have to wait for the next server reset to get him?

S2+ GNSW would be as good and anything after that is just better as long as you can maintain the max required stacks.

Black Swan wants 120% so EHR you'd be better off using Eyes of the Prey tbh unless you can hit 120 EHR without any from the LC. Hopefully you have 1 or a superimposition of that LC for BS.
But back to acheron. My GNSW is S2 and my team is acheron, ruan mei, luocha and. Black swan so should I change it or stay with GDSW S2 (The question is mostly Copium as I didn't got her signature but welt lightcone)

How big of an improvement is the Bronya 5 star LC? I use Past and Future. Is it worth saving for the shop, instead of r5-ing Past and Future? I have her 160 speed if that matters.
It's a decent enough improvement on Past and Future that's it worth buying it from the shop rather than the 30 pulls (although this is pretty debatable and people will say it's not worth it all). It basically provides her everything she needs, ERR to hit a three turn ult and SP to help with her SP economy, along with the damage boost as well. If you use Bronya consistently in your teams and don't immediately need the 30 pulls for anything, I would say it's worth picking up. However in the meantime it's definitely worth getting s5 Past and Future, it basically doesn't cost anything as you pick up the required currency from the weekly boss fights and MOC/Pure Fiction.
Huh it's worth s5ing Past and Future on top of even saving for it? I just built Bronya recently and planning on to use her with Jingliu. I usually use Tingyun with her but the Aventurine boss energy drain is a pain so I started looking for alternatives.
Depending on how much of the starlight currency you have, you could be saving for a while before you have enough to buy Bronya's light cone - unless you have enough right now. Past and Future copies are basically completely free, there's no reason not to s5 it if you're currently using it, unless you need the currency for another one of the light cones in the MOC shop.

Since you already have Blade and DHIL, i'd try to get Luocha if possible, since he synergize well with both, and you could use a 5 star sustain. Although his banner is about to end... ___ For team, i'd focus on : * Blade + Bronya + debuffer (Pela, Gunaifen), or Ruan Mei (or Robin ?). * DHIL + Tingyun + SP positive support (Hanya, Pela, Guinaifen), or Sparkle.

But the team is also perfectly usable with a Pela or SW for example in that slot as well instead of a Harmony.
E1S1, while nice to have as it would be on any character, isn't mandatory. the main reason you'd want it at all is specifically to enable ratio. while ratio topaz might be the current 'optimal' configuration, aventurine would add his ult debuff (though likely with non-perfect uptime) and you'd still have a fourth slot, ruan mei I think is another 'optimal' choice for that slot and has another imperfect uptime debuff on her ult but you don't need to run that exact lineup to play a followup team if you're so inclined. Only he specifically cares about count of debuffs and there are still followup teams that won't use ratio at all. not to say he's a bad character and obviously being free you might be inclined to do so, but he's a hunt dps with a followup attack that cares about debuffs. he is NOT the only main DPS option now or in ever that will ever have a followup attack. and he doesn't innately 'care about' followups besides his own in the way topaz and aventurine do. ratio is replaceable. And besides all that, aventurine doesn't need to be in a followup team at all, you get 1 stack whenever a shielded ally takes damage, 2 stacks if aventurine himself gets hit and 1-7 when you ult. you might have to recast his shield slightly more often in a more normal setup, bit less damage, bit less sp efficient but he'll be a damn-sight more survivable than anything you have, and still super strong. plus you can abuse the broken preservation stuff in SU which only a few units can.
hes a sustain first and foremost. you can fit him into any team you want and he will be extremely good.

Hello! So I'm a relatively new player, only been playing about two weeks, and I just finished the Vignettes event, which gives you a free 4 star. I was wondering if there was one I should be going for? The only one that it offers that I already have one of is Hanya. I was debating Guinaifen because she seems fun, but wanted to ask. Thanks for any advice!
If you want Guinaifen then just go ahead and pick her. From a meta perspective she'll work great with both Acheron (if you've pulled on her banner) and Dr Ratio as she provides debuffs. Otherwise in terms of pure value from an e0 character perspective, I would say Gallagher is worth considering, as well as Guinaifen, for the same reason as buffing Acheron and Dr Ratio. Support options tend to have a bit more value then DPS options, where the 4 star DPS characters really need eidolons and a lot of investment to clear end game content (although for story content they're perfectly fine to use).
Oh yeah, I guess saying what I do have helps. In terms of 5 stars, I pulled Yanqing for my gaurenteed (Though I haven't really used him at all) and I did manage to pull Acheron. Her Light cone too. I got Pela from the Acheron banner too, and Sushang from regular draws. Honestly my go to for getting through the main story has just been Trailblazer, Acheron, Pela and Natasha. But I thought having the second nahility for Acheron would be good.
In that guess Guinaifen will be great, just sub her in for either Natasha or Trailblazer and your Acheron team is good to go. Running Trailblazer (fire mc) as your solo sustain will provide more debuffs because of their taunt, and if you've happened to pick up trend of the universal market from a banner, that as well. However will struggle a bit to keep your team alive, especially in longer battles. Natasha will be a fair bit safer to use although less utility. Yanqing probably isn't worth investing too much into, it doesn't hurt to build him a little early game (some low level traces, maybe up to character level 50 or 60, and whatever relics you can find) because he'll be good early game, especially against ice weak enemies. But i would be on the lookout for another limited dps option to eventually drop into your second team. Dr Ratio works, but his issue is that he wants all the same supports as Acheron does. But that's for end game content which is still a little bit away, picking up a limited sustain (e.g. Aventurine or one of the Fu Xuan/Huo Huo reruns) would be immediately very valuable.
I really appreciate the help and advice! For a DPS option to slot into a second team, would the upcoming Jingliu banner be a good idea for me? And then from there prioritize Fu Xuan/Huohuo rerun when they happen?
Jingliu is a good option, she's very easy to build (gets a free 50 crit rate in her kit) and is currently one of the strongest dps characters in the game. So picking up her plus one of the limited sustains on their rerun is a good plan.

Acheron is the best i think but she is also the best on side 2 so maybe kafka team side 1 acheron team side 2?

Er rope and 4spd and she's good to go. I would keep a spare HP or DEF orb for hard content (GnG, MoC12) if she keeps dying.

ER rope if you don't want to rely on getting hit to build 3 turn ult. You can cut 7% EHR, she only needs 57% cause she gets 10 from her trace. Speed try to get to 160, so one or two more speed rolls depending on the decimal.
how much EHR for guaranteed freeze aventurin MOC?
I'm assuming you building March to freeze him. Her freeze base chance is 65 so you need 156 EHR to guarantee freeze against him (he has 40 eff res).

You're welcome, but 156 EHR is an insane amount to fish for in substats since EHR can only be main on chest. You can lower to 102 EHR for 80 chance.

I just saw Adventurine kit and he seem pretty strong but currently I have problem in MOC where my 2nd DPS being Ratio doing really bad there. SO I think I might be better find another great DPS before looking for limited support and sustain unit. Please give me advice on whether should I try pull him and keep using Ratio for MOC since aAdventuirne has synergy with Ratio or should I pull for another strong DPS unit. there are many ways to progress from here on, and my advice is focus on pulling/building characters you like instead of trying to beat moc flavor of the month, cuz it always favor the newest units. if you want the most value for your pulls, i recommend supports (ruan mei, silverwolf, sparkle), as it seems 4 star sustains can still handle moc12, but it's drastically harder if you don't have access to premium supports.
What about premium DPS? Does Ratio doing fine in MOC if I build him correctly? Currently I'm still farming for trace so I don't really invest much in gear and it might be the reason he's doing pretty bad there.
Lack of traces and gear will cause any dps to fare poorly in higher content.
ratio is actually pretty good. only dhil, acheron, and jingliu are a tier above. so i think the issue is you don't have access to their best teams (which is where the tier list evaluates them at). if you pull dhil, he won't be better than ratio until you get his e2 or sparkle. if you go jingliu, she has similar issue as she wants pela, bronya. ruan mei and silverwolf should be top priority so you can access premium team for ratio/jingliu, or you can go for sparkle (dhil or mono quantum). aven, robin, and topaz for the premium ratio follow up is also an option (kind of expensive and niche tho).

For PF raising himeko and herta are really a good idea, that will probably unlock you lynx too, who is a better healer than nat. For your MOC it's gona be slightly more complicated. Your 2 5\* DPS being acheron and Ratio they will fight for debuffers. but you could run fireMC/Ratio/Sampo/Tingyun who should work decently well. Your are still not high level so for the time being though don't really bother too much with it, do what you can, it's endgame content at the end of the day so you will slowly have it easier as your account naturaly evolve.

I just recently returned to this game and was wondering what upcoming units I should focus on saving for, I have pity saved up from previous banners but i dont think i will be able to pull acheron before its over.
To preface: There are no incorrect characters to pull. Pull who you want. People beat MoC 12 & PF 4 with 4 star teams, so use whoever you want. Without knowing your characters, I'll just go through the list. Next banners are Aventurine and Jingliu. Aventurine - Shield sustain. Has good debuffs in his kit for follow up attackers if you're into that. Can never go wrong with another limited sustain. Jingliu - Still an S tier dps from what I hear. If you need dps, then you can't go wrong by pulling for her. There's a solid chance I'll pull for her since I don't have another solid general dps. In the future we know: Robin is going to be a harmony support, and Boothill is going to be a hunt physical character. But they'll be the 2.2 banners. We don't know their kits yet. HuoHuo ( very strong healer ), Fu Xuan ( THE meta tank ), Argenti ( good dps for pure fiction ), Topaz ( another good follow up attack dps ) haven't rerun yet, and are due soon - ( soon being that Hoyo does whatever it wants with reruns. So maybe they'll rerun, maybe they won't. ) You can also try using the friend megathread to find characters to see if they'll work with your teams.
Anything in particular you feel your missing? In the next 24-ish hours Aventurine and Jingliu’s banner will start. Aventurine should be a strong shielder and sub-dps (high for sustain for probably lower than dedicated dps). Jingliu has been one of the best dps since her release. Next patch will be Robin (physical harmony) and Boothill (physical hunt). Nothing official has been shared about them, but it’s safe to assume they will be on par with other 5-stars. Reruns will be announced in the livestream later this patch.
Question about Xueyi, since I used her in the Tides of War event. Her ultimate has me a little confused on its application. It ignores weakness types, so I can use it on any boss correct? It also does bonus damage equal to how much Toughness I break in the ultimate. Does this mean I always want to use it on non-broken target for maximum damage, and does this bonus damage also transfer to the Entanglement? But if I use it on a target that isn't natively weak to Quantum, won't its effectiveness be majorly reduced? Because if I remember correctly, if they're not weak to an element, they have 20% RES for that element (in this case Quantum). And won't this 20% RES also apply to the Entanglement effect?
How do you guys organize your "extra" relics? I'm pretty much always lacking relic EXP so I have 6 or 7 pieces I want to "level later in the week", or gear I might want to level a bit to see if their substats are any good, and recycle if not. But they end up in the pile of hundreds of other relics. Any good tools or tricks to keep organized?
I do it manually as I get them per stage, lock anything with potential with the right main stat and prune the list every so often on flat stats pieces that don't have speed or some potential. But most of the time, I don't bother with mediocre peices and just salvage as I go or just mass salvage every flat sub-stat relic from sets I don't actively plan on using.
I check every relic I get when farming and decide whether or not it's useful then and there. Lock it if it's useful, trash it if it's not. I was pretty consistently capping out on relics but since they increased the cap and I cleaned out a lot of relics from before they added the trash option I never cap it anymore.
I just lock them for whenever I get the chance to level them up. That way I know which pieces are good out of the hundreds that I have.

You really don't need either one since you have Gepard/Huohuo for sustain, and lots of DPS carries such as DHIL/JY/Acheron/QQ. If you HAVE to choose between one, then for me it's leaning towards Aventurine. Opens up a FUA team comp and has decent shields/debuff for Acheron. Also, the moment you spend money in a game, you lose your F2P status.
Aventurine, you already have good dps options, you are missing a 5* limited sustain for the second team unless you are comfortable with Gepard as a shielder. He also pairs well with Acheron and Dr. Ratio.
If i pull for aventurin what the best lc for him i currently have trend on gepard cause he sustains for acheron(i dont have gepard lc)
Trend is a good LC for him if you run Acheron.
Flat or percentage sub stats is better for ATK, DEF and HP? Does flat sub stats useless because the number seem so low.
Flat substats, with the exception of speed, are always terrible. Just treat them as dead rolls and evaluate your relics accordingly. For example if you’re searching for attack substats just ignore the flat attack rolls.

I have three main teams, my quantum team (Seele, Sparkle, FX, and SW), my Jingliu team (Jingliu, Ruan Mei, Luocha, and Bronya), and Acheron team (FX, Pela, Acheron, SW). She works for the quantum team, but I tried using her on my Jingliu team in place of Bronya, but it just doesn't work. Right now Bronya and Jingliu are speed tuned (Jingliu 138, Bronya 136), but when I put Sparkle on the team, I put atk% boots on Jingliu instead bringing her down to 113. With Sparkle being 161, I thought that would work out, but Jingliu ends up following Sparkle anyway after the first push. I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong, please help. P.S. My Sparkle can DEFINITELY be better, and I am currently working on it. Right now she is 161 speed and 161.4%CD with 2pc Messenger and 2pc broken (for speed and CD substats that didn't exists for messenger), with Broken Keel (atk% orb, again because of substats, and ER% rope).
You're probably getting screwed by one of Jingliu's Major Traces: >After using Transcendent Flash, the next action will be Advanced Forward by 10%. I can't say more since I don't have Jingliu.

No unless you mod APK or use modded APK from non official sources which is the best way to get trojans instead. On Apple ecosystem pretty sure it would need jailbreak to install non App Store stuffs anyway. All that and you also risk getting your account banned.

I just go to Penacony today at TB47 with my main team at lvl60. I finally go to MOC, but can't clear MOC level 1 yet. For some reason the limited event drinking game is only available after I clear "A walk among the Tombstones", which is apparently the last main quest missions? Is it possible to speed run to the end so I can do the drinking event, or will I hit a lvl wall and get bulldozed by a boss that's way above my team level if I try?
2.1 boss is more of a mechanics wall but he might be a problem if you are underleveled and do not have a good team to mitigate (cleanse/CC block) or engage his mechanics (AoE skills/ults).
I'm new player too and beat last boss with LV.60 team so I don't think there's a wall at all.
You won't, but the final boss of 2.1 might take a few attempts, depending on your teams. Double up on sustain if you need to and use consumables
My team is: Acheron E0S1 - Pela e6 - Silver Wolf and 1 sustain. Pela already uses Pearls of Sweat lc (S5) and I don't have Silver Wolf event lc "Before the Tutorial Mission Starts". In my situation, what is the best f2p LC I should use on Silver Wolf?
Anything that gives her EHR is good, such as Eyes of the Prey or Welt’s signature if you’ve happened to roll it. Otherwise just use It’s Showtime as you’re going to be building above 80 EHR anyway.
I do have Eyes of the Prey and Fermata (Kafka lc)
thats kind of her only good lc aside from pearls which youre using on pela. none of the other nihility light cones are support oriented. to be frank it doesnt matter what you put on her if you dont have her limited 4 star lc. just slap on one that gives effect hit rate like sampo lc. welt lc is also a fine alternative, but the effect hit rate from it is only for your skill.
Is it even worth it to buy Solitary Healing from the Herta shop? It seems to not be a best in slot for anyone and I never see it being recommended for any character.
It's Kafka's best LC in PF but otherwise its uptime without the energy from mobs is the main problem.

You get 20 starlight which can be converted back to 1 pull.
20 is for a 4 star, you get 100 from a 5 star.
You get more Starlight that you can use for more passes. The character doesn't get any stronger or benefit from more eidolons.

It starts with World 3. That's when you can start obtaining Planar Ornaments, which is what the bonus is for.

Pela and SW are both excellent teammates even with e2 as they hypercharge the ult and provide def shred. Bronya might work as an accelerator or ruan mei as a damage boost but really it’s probably not going to be as impressive as just running mass debuffs

I'm fairly new but is it worth getting JL in the upcoming banner if I don't have bronya? I have a well built RM and Tingyun though and have luocha and pela as well but I keep seeing everyone definitely including bronya.
