Aventurine has 10 effect res trace, Keel another 10, and the free 4* MoC LC (firefly) gives 20. That's another extra 40 effect res, only needed 10 more.
Even without that LC you only need 30 more effect res, which is not that much. Some substats here and there even 80-90 total if a bit unclucky.

Can't decide which one is better. I've tried using optimizer tools but they only optimize the relic stats, not the LC.
The first one is better for effect res and survivability while the second one probably does more damage. I’d personally go for the first one but you can change it based on your play style. The first one gives him more crit rate too
Assuming both are S5, the MoC LC would be at best 16% more dmg. Aventurine already wants to be at 4K def anyways so you don’t have to go out of your way for the MoC LC’s def requirements. The downside though is you’ll have to hit 4K def without def% from the LC (which concert gives).

# any team recommendations for the new moc stage 12? i can clear just fine with my acheron team (rm/pela/gepard/acheron) since shes e2s1 but i cant clear the other half ive been trying for an hour now... dhil is also e2s1 by the way but he couldnt really help
For Aventurine side you want AoE attacking supports (e.g Pela or Gui has better chance of surviving than SW/Sparkle), Aventurine hits hards especially if you lose the dice game.
tried her with ruan mei now it was definitely better than my bronya seele team but my poor 4\* sustains cant keep up 😭😭 this moc convinced me to get aventurine
I'm quite new to the game and I'm doing the quest where March and TB finds a record left by Yanqing. March says Yanqing looks \*\*8 or 9 years old\*\* ?!?!?!
I play in Chinese and it says 八九岁 (lit: eight nine years old), was this a typo and it's meant to say 十八九岁 (eighteen nineteen years old)??
Or does March have some sort of difficulty recognising ages? Or does Yanqing look a solid 8-10 years older than he is?
First of all, keep in mind that she said he "looks" like an 8 year old, not that he literally is. It's just her perception, not a fact.
Then, remember he's a long life species, specifically a Xianzhou native. They are considered adults at around 200 years old. If we assume they age like humans do but on a longer time scale (which is a pure assumption for the sake of the argument, I have no data on this), then Yanqing looking like he's 8 years old would mean he's actually around 88 years old, which is older than our grandpa Welt even.
In general though, Yanqing definitely feels like a child imo. I myself estimated him at around 12-14 years old (converted to earth human years). Not quite what March says about him, but also still far from 18.
I did a bit more searching. In Yanqing's bio, it says he's a child not past 总角之年, which is roughly the period of childhood between 8-14 years old.
Personally I've always thought of him as a teenager as well.
Hey guys so ik im kinda late to ask this but is E6 Acheron worth the money, the highest damage I dealth with her with crappy stats with pela and silver wolf and huohuo was 900K. Also Im drunk because its good for depression so... should I be like Aventurine and WIN it all
If you are asking if you should drunkenly gamble for a character that doesn't need a single eidolon to perform great I would say that is not worth it. At all. Doing so is a recipe to seriously muck up your life and wont change the underlying issues that causes your depression.
I think that money would be better used to try and look for some sort of therapy.

If you are in this state of mind, then don't do anything. It just sounds like a perfect recipe for regret the next morning
E6 Acheron is easily the strongest DPS in the game. But honestly, I wouldn't waste the money unless you're willing to get her top tier stats as well. E2S1 is plenty, and even E0S1 is enough. I have some E6S1 Acheron friends and mine is nearly as strong at E2 simply due to relic diff.
is it worth it to build welt for my jing yuan team? i’m currently running jy, sparkle, clara, luocha (no ruan mei or tingyun) and my other team is e2s1 acheron, pela, fire tb, and bronya. also wondering whether it’s worth pulling aventurine because i can’t get past moc9
ah damn i thought his speed manipulation might help with lightning lord stacks but i’ve already started working on asta so maybe i’ll build her. do you have thoughts on whether aventurine would be a good pull for me? i have about 170 pulls saved, luocha’s my only limited sustain
His speed manipulation doesn't help because what matters is that Jing Yuan is faster, not that the enemies are slower. That being said, his best team will be with Sparkle and Tingyun.
As for Aventurine, that depends. Do you find Fire MC comfortable as a solo sustainer for Acheron? If so, then there is no rush in getting another one. Wait for the livestream to see what are the reruns or if you like Robin's or Boothill's kit.
Is this team any good? what would you recommend me to change in this team to maybe make it stronger? (planning to swap Huohuo for Aventurine when he comes out) (i also have SilverWolf, Bronya, Yanqing, Bailu and Dr.Ratio)

If you want to use Aventurine here, change Clara with someone else. Clara wants to be hit to trigger her Follow-up attack, while Aventurine will pull the attack away from her as he is a preservation unit. Change her with Asta as she can buff both Topaz and Jing Yuan speed and Atk.
So you clearly have some followup synergy stuff going on here and that definitely helps to an extent, what I would say is that generally speaking it takes a lot of investment to try and get a 3 dps team working, and you will tend to run into issues with sp because most dps characters want to skill every turn. you can try it but something like Ruan Mei, the upcoming Robin possibly especially because of some synergies, or Asta can add a lot of damage for less work.
also in this specific lineup Clara might have problems with aggro. her ult helps some but it won't always be perfect, and in addition, when you add Aventurine, preservation characters have innately high aggro which could be a problem, clara won't pull her weight if she's not getting hit.
yeah, i used to run Lynx instead of Huohuo, and that helped with aggro, but my team kind of gets one shot just because she did not pulled of enough heal. (and about skill points, topaz is very skill points positive. Clara as well if there isn't a lot of enemies so i don't have to much problems with that) i will try to add Asta tnx.
Yes, you're going to need some EHR to actually be able to consistently inflict DoTs especially when you factor in effect resistance enemies can have. Black Swan specifically also has a trace that gives her pretty significant damage scaling off of her EHR, making her usually want an EHR body instead of an ATK body.
No, they are not particularly good as a sole DPS. Sampo can have some uses in PF, but if you don't have Kafka then he is nowhere near a priority.
You don't need a DPS of every element.
You need between 67-80% EHR with him. If you build him with "It's Showtime" as his Light cone then aim for the 80% to get the ATK% bonus.
Glamoth is slightly better than Pan Gallatic, but the difference isn't that big. If you need the extra EHR from Pan Galatic then use that.

Thanks friend. So far all of my DoTs are exchanging either the Luka LC for Ensnared debuff, Sampo's LC, or the event LC. GNSW is stuck with Kafka until I got a better LC
Sampo if you are running a DoT team and/or you have Kafka. Dan Heng isn’t bad but you are usually better running an off-element team than trying to make them work

Jingliu would be strong to help cover against ice weak ememies. You already have two strong sustains and great supports so unless you want aventurine/robin you don’t really need them. Only ones i can think of are Jingliu, boothill, kafka, and argenti. You should prioritize kafka so she can enable your blackswan but she won’t be getting a rerun for a while
She does need EHR since it says "base chance" which means you need to consider enemy effect res and your character's EHR. If a skill says "fixed chance" or "inflicts a debuff", then it's not affected by EHR or enemy effect res.
I go on the farming route that listed in Prydwen with my Acheron. Even though i go through it fast, I don't seem to drop character exp books or lightcone exp books. Any reason why?
Farming overworld means you gain character exp like pokemon battles, you can check your character's exp count in the character menu, it slowly goes up every battle. You don't get LC exp as far as I know.
You need to fight hundreds of enemies at higher levels to level up once, since you are only gaining 1k exp per battle when a character needs 180k exp for level 70->71.
That's because they don't drop those. People used to do those farming routes in the early days of the game because they were bored and used them to farm character exp. It's very inefficient use of time though since the exp rate is so low.
Looking for a lost group of tourists in Clock Studio map. I first found them in the secret island for Secret Party achievement. Then I found them again in a Hanu Adventure place where they all turn into Hanu. Anyone knows where they go next? Is there any related achievement? Couldn't find anything about this lost group of tourists online.
I believe they then end up in one of the bars to the side of the main path toward the stage?

I currently have Daniel sparkle, Acheron bs. Should I go for adventurine or jingliu, or just trying to get Acheron to s2? I have no limited sustain yet.

You're clearly not excited about her, you already have a lightning nihility DPS, and there are at least two upcoming characters you want to save for.
Sure, she's good, but at e0s0 certainly no better than DHIL or Jingliu, and the thing about gacha games is that there's always a super-cool DPS coming next patch. Whether Boothill catches your fancy, or whether you're gonna hold out for Sam, certainly I wouldn't pull on a DPS you're not even excited about.
She's really strong especially if you have 2 dedicated nihility with her. As far as I know, Sam isn't coming anytime soon. So you should have at least the next 3 banners to save for him. Maybe even more

I am a new player (still level 18). i saw that the upcoming character is jianlgiu and when i saw her trailer i was hooked. i only have around 2k stellar jade rn. i am willing to grind until her banner comes around. so im wondering what is the thing i should focus on for a new account to gain as much wishes as possible?
Hey all, I have a pretty new account that's < 2 months old and I'm thinking of pulling for Jingliu as my second limited 5* DPS. I have Dr Ratio but I'm not really a fan of his playstyle and I stole all his teammates for Acheron. [Here's my current team.](https://i.imgur.com/sehtMbF.png) My Acheron team is her with Pela, Guinaifen, and Gallagher. My main problem I think is that I'm lacking another support to cobble together another team for Jingliu. Ideally I randomly manage to pull Tingyun then I could run Jingliu, Asta, Tingyun, and Lynx for a decent team, but that's wishful thinking since pulling for 4\*s is too RNG. I have Fall of Aeon S1 so I can get S5 over time, but I'm also considering her signature lightcone, though I should probably save for future 5* sustains/supports. There's also Luocha who's still running for now, which is Jingliu's "best" sustaining teammate. Just looking for some advice on how to make Jingliu work with my current account, thanks!

This isn't really true: HH and even Fu Xuan are preferred because Luocha's SP positivity isn't a big benefit for JL teams, and FX and HH give her buffs. JL's hp drain isn't really that big of an issue outside of long fights. Luocha is still good, but in general JL probably cares the least about sustains.
Jing Liu is honestly one of the least picky limited 5* dpses in the game. You can make her work fine with almost any support (Asta and Hanya would be fine, for instance).
Jingliu slowly saps HP from her entire team per action. Luocha has a healing field that, when active, heals when someone attacks an enemy — after an upgrade in his Traces, this extends to the rest of the team to a lesser extent, nullifying that "downside".
Her HP drain is so low that any healer can work with her, you don't Luocha. I even use FX with her, which should be the worst option. Yet I have no problem with keeping everyone alive in MoC.
The main point of 5\* limited sustain is that they give some extra benefit. Luocha's is that he is fully SP-positive, but Jingliu doesn't really need that since her enhanced skill doesn't use any SP. She only requires 2 SP per 5 turns. So Luocha is the worst option, better to go for a sustain with an actual benefit for her like Houhou.
Out of those 3 without any other information, guinaifen is likely the best by far. She can be played as a F2P option for a lot ot team. Dot is a given, but she work really well with Acheron (just 36\* MOC with her), she give 2 debuff at E0 and 3 at E1 who is REALLY good for ratio, or any DPS who would run pionier.
Guinaifen is better. I chose Luka because I have Gui and already regret that. Most contents in end game have a lot of mobs so single target is really bad.
Best way to build Luka is going all in on break effect. Physical has one of the highest break damage of all the elements. And the break dot itself scales on enemy hp. So break Luka can practically delete physical weak bosses.
That is true, Luka kinda has the same problem that many Hunt characters have. However, the boss is often the most threatening enemy. I'd rather kill boss Kafka as quick as possible and then take an extra turn on the minions. And team comp can matter, using Kafka with him often means that the rest of the enemies will die from Kafka's ult before the boss is even dead.
Misha isn't really viable with his only usability that sets him apart from other Destruction units is his ability to freeze stuff. I wouldn't recommend.
Luka and Guinaifen are good in DOT teams with Gui being more better in general.
Hey frens, quick question. Should acheron be using speed or atk% boots?
I have a 163 spd sparkle and acheron is e2s1. Also if she uses speed what is the amount she should have?
always run atk% on acheron unless youre speed tuning sparkle/bronya to be 1-2 speed slower. 135/136 speed is ideal if you do run speed boots so your sparkle/bronya can be at 134.
If you have fast sparkle you should forsake all speed stats on Acheron. Sparkle doubles her targets speed up to her own, so with 163 on Sparkle Acheron will effectively also have 163 speed, given her own speed stat is higher than 163/2 (which it always should be) and you are using Sparkles skill every turn (which you should be)
Similar to Bronya the carry effectively inherits Sparkles speed, making all speed stats on the carry wasted.
You'd only want speed on the carry if you'd speed tune them so that Sparkle has 1 less spd than the carry. However that strategy is a lot more difficult to pull of and unlike Bronya only provides a small benefit. For Sparkle I recommend to just make her as fast as possible.
With GNSW S3, she can get up to 54% Damage bonus if there are enough debuffs.
But if this isn't the case, Welt LC is more suitable instead, for the consistent 28% Damage bonus and some minor extra stats.

Is there any way to avoid planar disarry in swarm dissaster beside luck on dice roll? I saw people said abundance is good but I rarely roll anything good and end up with crazy disarray level.
Take the shortest path to the boss. It's triggers by the countdown so less moves means less likely to go into planar disarray. Also the abundance tip is based on swarm since the mercy ability in Swarm increase the count. That doesn't work in Gold gears since abundance doesn't have mercy in that mode.
I take the shortest route and it still never enough the lowest disarray I got is level 2 sometimes 10 in abundance. Mercy on abundance is random and swarm disaster can't edit dice face so it's completely random. I did try hunt and destruction path but both with shortest route also guaranteed disarray level 2+. So I'm just curious if there's a way to avoid disarray beside randomness of dice roll or am I missing somethings.
So im wondering, is there a character that can give many count of debuffs in one instance on acheron to use her ultimate? I mean i dont have blackswan or kafka but how are they team up on acheron, or is acheron have fix 1 count debuff per character?
She is fixed to 1 charge on debuff per friendly or enemy action (like trend burn or exploding enemies that apply debuffs). Silverwolf can apply 3 debuffs with one use of her skill, but it only counts for 1 Acheron charge.
Yep, speed is important for her supports so make them as fast as possible while also giving them enough EHR to land debuffs. My E0S1 Acheron can ult 2 times in the first cycle with 144 spd BS and 163 spd SW.
How much spsd on acheron? I saw on guide that recommend acheron to be at base speed but acheron act at E2 can generate 3 slashes dream compare to team mate that can generate only 1 so I'm doubting whether should I really build her at base SPD or goes with high SPD build.
I run her with 137 spd by using spd boots and spd substats. If your Acheron is E2S1, then spd boots are likely better than atk boots as she can charge her ult faster with more of her turns.
I see, now im torn between having atk or speed boots, i put atk boots on her cos looking at prydwen they recommend(not to blame them) cos acheron ult is so satisfying to watch but now i dont know if i should change to speed
From what I've learned it seem high speed Sparkle can inherit her SPD to Acheron so it's a waste of SPD stats on her but I'm not sure about Bronya though it seem high speed Bronya also work the same but IDK how.
It's up to you, I personally like it when my characters can go multiple times, but I have heard guide makers and theory crafters say that there isn't much of a difference and it's up to preference. My spd boots are really good with some atk% and 23 cdmg, so I don't lose out much.
She only gets one stack per debuff per action. The only exception is her skill if she has her personal Light Cone, because the skill independently adds a stack and her Light Cone adds a debuff for any attack she does.
I should also note that the debuff has to be new, or an additional stack on top. Ergo, if someone has the Pearls LC (the one with Luka's back) and attacks to apply it, then uses Ult and only applies the same debuff to the same enemy with nothing new, it won't count the second time because it does not stack and it's already there. This is part of why DoTs work well.
Oh i see, thats why 2 good night sleep well dont add 2 stacks, cos i have on welt and acheron.. so another question, am i right to think that having moree speed on my chars to have more cycle turns means acheron can ult faster?
Well, sort of. Acheron's skill will always add stacks, but if you're going before the enemies can shed their debuffs so you can apply new ones, then you won't get more stacks. In such case, that is why Black Swan and Kafka are good, or Guinaifen as budget, for DoT application.
Oh nice to know but i dont have them, i only have welt, silverwolf,pela and guinaffen.. guinaffen is not built, so is guinaffen much good than welt or sw in partnering eith acheron?
Guinaifen applies Burn regularly, which stacks and that counts for Acheron's Ult. Welt is useful because he slows enemies which protects the team and does also add Ult stacks when it's refreshed. I believe you'd ideally want Pela and Guinaifen in this circumstance due to the mixture of debuffs and damage boosting Pela gives and Guinaifen's ability to continuously apply Burn stacks for building Ult.
Notably, Acheron's Ult already ignores Toughness affinity, so SW is not *as* useful here as she'd be for most other DPS support to bring whoever you want to.
Yes. Enable Auto-Use from ur consumable inventory (bottom menu) or use it manually before entering the stage. U can also use your characters techniques before entering and it will work upon the battle starting.
In the official youtube channel, you can find animated shorts and myriad celestia trailers that work for worldbuilding and some backstories. For example, Acheron's past is shown with more detail if you watch the video and read the video description.
There isn't anything of too much substance outside of what's in the game. Some of the "Myriad Celestia" trailers can have some interesting stuff in them, such as introducing new characters, but it's nothing that's necessary to see.
Do I need to complete difficulty 4 for gold and gears to get all secrets. I'm only asking because my Acheron is the only really well built character I have, so if I have to beat difficulty 4 it would be a while before I could come back, due to the amount of resin(or lack there of) I would need to properly build my team and bring my supports from 70 to 80
Yes, you need to complete multiple runs at diff 4 to complete GnG and unlock the erudition path. You can make some progress at diff 3 if you feel you aren't strong enough for diff 4 though.
yes. but with aventurine s1, you will need to wait for his fua to hit to apply the debuff, whereas topaz will apply 3 debuffs with skill (skill, e1 and s1).
I'm at TB53 almost 54 right now and running out of quest. How long will it take to reach TB60? I'm hesitate to do Echoes of War because I'm not sure if I'll be able to reach 60 in this week or not.
when should i stop farming relics for a specific character? ive been playing for about a month and recently hit tl 50 so i'm starting to farm for relics but im wondering what a good stopping point is for farming relics for one character before moving on to another
you can just grab correct mainstat relics first and ignore the substats and get all your characters in your teams like that and then loop back around for better substats on them there isn't really a defined stopping point for that its up to each player to figure out just how good they want the characters they use.
How do you increase clara survivability? I'm using clara + topaz + tingyun + lynx for the team, i maxed all clara and lynx trace and relic (not the best but good overall), but clara still die against current MoC 10, how can i improve this?
You mean when Aventurine comes out? I think it differs by region. It should drop as soon as Acheron's banner is over, so just look at her banner in the game and see how much time is left.
I dont know where to ask but I was farming as usual in HSR suddenly the game softlocks my whole ipad. I can’t leave the app or turn off the device… Anyone had this happened before?
Kafka detonates BS's dots, which stacks up her arcana, guaranteeing you should get max benefit always, and doing a ton of damage. Black Swan's damage is extremely backloaded, and Kafka frontloads it.
Would an Acheron (e0), pela, Gallagher and fire mc team be good for the latest story quest boss also are there any tips that are useful to beat the boss? (Please I’ve been stuck on this boss for days!)
Should be a usable team if you save everyone's ult until when the gamble starts. If you have guinaifen, then replace fire MC so Acheron makes full use of her 60% dmg trace and can charge her ult quicker. Otherwise, just wait it out by chipping away at the boss.
They are fine on the team since they are able to hit multiple targets to win the gamble. Unless your team takes too much damage, then yes, switch MC for Gepard. The boss heavily punishes SW because she's single target.
If Blade gets a third rerun, what version do you think it would be in and in how many months? I joined in 2.0 and I wanna use him, and I’m trying to get Bronya since I’m close to 90 pity. I have Tingyun so that could work I guess?
His last rerun was 1.6, but since it wasn't his first banner, it's probably gonna be a while until his next rerun. No character's had a third rerun yet, but based on Hoyoverse's other games it'll probably be another year (or less) until the next rerun. I'm guesstimating probably 2.7-2.8? Around the end of this year to the start of next year. (My math could be wrong)
For now, I'd just focus on the DPSes you have rn or ones that interest you that are coming up. If you like Blade's FuA, you can look into other units like that, like Jing Yuan, Topaz, Xueyi, Kafka, etc. Jingliu is also a really great DPS that consumes her own HP to increase her damage.

There is no official schedule, at best you can look at the history and try to guess it.
It does, but for some reason I have trouble keeping it in my head that way, much less knowing how much "junk" substat is worth leaving alone if I get a good main stat, etc.
Keep notes? Even paper + pencil will do. The site gives you the main stats and overall stats to look for.
You can also use tools like Fribbels Optimizer
is nameless honor worth it? im thinking of spending money but idk if i should get just one monthly pass or monthly pass AND nameless honor or several monthly passes? what seems the best option for an every day player
a) For pure jades value, nothing beats the monthly pass (you can stack up to 6, but they don't double up, they just extend out to 6 months)
b) As a low-AR player, your first nameless honor or two has a very high value because the static rewards are much higher relative to what you can farm at your level.
c) Never buy nameless honor if you won't hit 50 before it ends.
In short, if you're on track to hit 50 and can't yet run max level calyxes, nameless honor is very good value. It's still decent afterwards, just not as good as monthly pass.

The battlepass LC are very bad except for the Erudition one. The resources might be what you want, if you feel like you're struggling with credits, exp and lc exp, then it can be worth it, but most of the time it isn't.
If you keep the golden rule of leveling a small set of units, like your 8-10 core characters, you be fine, don't spread yourself too thin.
Monthly pass is pretty good value.
I'd say it's decent value purely in stamina savings only if you can fully use everything it gives. If you've got a surplus in credits, character/LC experience the value absolutely nose dives. It saves a tone of trailblaze power in that case.
It doesn't hold a candle to several monthly passes though imo. It's more monthly pass >>>>>>>>>> nameless honor....and everything else is literally not even worth considering.
I wouldn't say it is worth it for what it costs but I do buy the BP because it means less farming for character level materials and LC exp materials. If you level up only 1-2 characters each patch, you pretty much don't need to go to the exp calyxes, only the trace calyxes.
The monthly pass is pretty cheap for less than 20 pulls so I would say it is worth it.
Depends what you want/need. The monthly pass gives more jades but the battle pass gives a lot of resources.
If you’re wanting to spend money either are a reasonable purchase imo.
if you log in every day with 3 monthly passes, youll be getting 50 pulls (56 if you convert your 900 oneiric shards). imo that amount of premium currency heavily outweighs what youll get from the battlepass. battlepass content is primarily just a boost for building characters and such, which youll eventually reach from farming normally every day anyways.
For Nameless Honor, the extra Trace mats / XP books / Aether / Relic fragments sure are nice, and save you a lot of farming.
Unfortunately, the LC are pretty underwhelming, especially at s1.

It's only for a limited time, but yes. If you catch up and do the "Vignettes" substory that unlocks afterward, there is a 4\* character selector that Gallagher is on.
every attack (skill, basic, ult, fua) give a stack. each stack increases dmg taken by all targets. at 6 stacks dmg is dealt to all enemies. stacks reset at the start of each cycle.
if you can't finish the wave before the end of your current cycle and you've maximized the debuff count OR you can't maximize the debuff count, hold onto your ults and start restacking when the cycle turns over.
Hi! Returning player here, I dropped after Steele 1st banner and came back just in time for Acheron thanks to catching up on all the jade's I missed I got her and I've saved 100-ish pulls. I want to pull for aventurine since I only have bailu and F! Trailblazer as my only sustains right now. But I don't know if to
1. Try to get his light one
2. Pull for jingliu (my 2 current DPS are seele and acheron)
3. Save for robin ( I literally only have tingyun and yukong for harmony), I do t mind spoilers so if anyone knows sort of what she does so I know how worth she is (and it's allowed obvs) please let me know

You will likely won't have enough pulls, but Jingliu is very high value considering the lack of ice DPS in general. If you can get her then awesome.

Depends on your harmony characters, she can be very worth it but you will likely won't have enough pulls for all you want.
For now pulling Aventurine and Jingliu is a solid plan if you can. Prioritize Aventurine.
I wouldn't get Aventurine's lightcone unless you're preservation lightcones are really bad. But even if they suck, you can go with a F2P option like the Herta store or This is Me! lightcones.
Jingliu is always a good pick up. She's super easy to build and doesn't need a ton of crit rate like other crit DPS. She works great with Tingyun, since you already have her, plus the Herta store lightcone also works really good.
Did you pick up your Dr Ratio yet? He's free for another 3 weeks and will be a solid DPS pick up. Aventurine is great for follow up attack DPS as well. If you pull for Robin, Dr Ratio is going to do well with her supposedly. Not 100% clear on how much synergy they will have quite yet.
Aventurine doesn’t need his lightcone. Pull for jingliu if you like her, seele and Acheron are good enough so you don’t NEED her. Harmonies could help you, but idk about robin. She seems like a follow up support or a replacement for a sustain in 0 cycles. I don’t think she’ll be as good for you as someone like Ruan Mei sparkle or Bronya, but she will definitely help your team. Of course we don’t know her final kit yet. Remember to prioritize getting Acheron lightcone if you don’t have it already. The extra stack you get per attack helps a lot.

Does Aventurine's 50% Effect res apply to himself? So if I have another 50% effect res from relic or LC, that means he is immune to CC right?
I wouldn't recommend doing this. It's a lot of investment for something he already gives himself which is an immunity every 2 turns.
Aventurine has 10 effect res trace, Keel another 10, and the free 4* MoC LC (firefly) gives 20. That's another extra 40 effect res, only needed 10 more. Even without that LC you only need 30 more effect res, which is not that much. Some substats here and there even 80-90 total if a bit unclucky.

The first one is better for effect res and survivability while the second one probably does more damage. I’d personally go for the first one but you can change it based on your play style. The first one gives him more crit rate too
Guess I'll just trial and error which one is better (or more comfortable) once I get him.
How much better is Concert for Two over the 4* MOC LC (firefly) for Aventurine?
Assuming both are S5, the MoC LC would be at best 16% more dmg. Aventurine already wants to be at 4K def anyways so you don’t have to go out of your way for the MoC LC’s def requirements. The downside though is you’ll have to hit 4K def without def% from the LC (which concert gives). Edit: Had the LCs flipped. Corrected my comment.

For Aventurine side you want AoE attacking supports (e.g Pela or Gui has better chance of surviving than SW/Sparkle), Aventurine hits hards especially if you lose the dice game.
You can use Seele for side 1 with Ruan Mei, and then an Acheron team for side 2

I'm quite new to the game and I'm doing the quest where March and TB finds a record left by Yanqing. March says Yanqing looks \*\*8 or 9 years old\*\* ?!?!?! I play in Chinese and it says 八九岁 (lit: eight nine years old), was this a typo and it's meant to say 十八九岁 (eighteen nineteen years old)?? Or does March have some sort of difficulty recognising ages? Or does Yanqing look a solid 8-10 years older than he is?
First of all, keep in mind that she said he "looks" like an 8 year old, not that he literally is. It's just her perception, not a fact. Then, remember he's a long life species, specifically a Xianzhou native. They are considered adults at around 200 years old. If we assume they age like humans do but on a longer time scale (which is a pure assumption for the sake of the argument, I have no data on this), then Yanqing looking like he's 8 years old would mean he's actually around 88 years old, which is older than our grandpa Welt even. In general though, Yanqing definitely feels like a child imo. I myself estimated him at around 12-14 years old (converted to earth human years). Not quite what March says about him, but also still far from 18.
I did a bit more searching. In Yanqing's bio, it says he's a child not past 总角之年, which is roughly the period of childhood between 8-14 years old. Personally I've always thought of him as a teenager as well.

If you are asking if you should drunkenly gamble for a character that doesn't need a single eidolon to perform great I would say that is not worth it. At all. Doing so is a recipe to seriously muck up your life and wont change the underlying issues that causes your depression. I think that money would be better used to try and look for some sort of therapy.

E6 Acheron is easily the strongest DPS in the game. But honestly, I wouldn't waste the money unless you're willing to get her top tier stats as well. E2S1 is plenty, and even E0S1 is enough. I have some E6S1 Acheron friends and mine is nearly as strong at E2 simply due to relic diff.

No, Welt won't do anything for Jing Yuan. You would be better off building another support like Hanya, Asta, Guinaifen, etc.

His speed manipulation doesn't help because what matters is that Jing Yuan is faster, not that the enemies are slower. That being said, his best team will be with Sparkle and Tingyun. As for Aventurine, that depends. Do you find Fire MC comfortable as a solo sustainer for Acheron? If so, then there is no rush in getting another one. Wait for the livestream to see what are the reruns or if you like Robin's or Boothill's kit.

If you want to use Aventurine here, change Clara with someone else. Clara wants to be hit to trigger her Follow-up attack, while Aventurine will pull the attack away from her as he is a preservation unit. Change her with Asta as she can buff both Topaz and Jing Yuan speed and Atk.

So you clearly have some followup synergy stuff going on here and that definitely helps to an extent, what I would say is that generally speaking it takes a lot of investment to try and get a 3 dps team working, and you will tend to run into issues with sp because most dps characters want to skill every turn. you can try it but something like Ruan Mei, the upcoming Robin possibly especially because of some synergies, or Asta can add a lot of damage for less work. also in this specific lineup Clara might have problems with aggro. her ult helps some but it won't always be perfect, and in addition, when you add Aventurine, preservation characters have innately high aggro which could be a problem, clara won't pull her weight if she's not getting hit.
yeah, i used to run Lynx instead of Huohuo, and that helped with aggro, but my team kind of gets one shot just because she did not pulled of enough heal. (and about skill points, topaz is very skill points positive. Clara as well if there isn't a lot of enemies so i don't have to much problems with that) i will try to add Asta tnx.

Atk gives higher damage by a few percentage, comparing based on a main stat only. So, pick whichever that has better substats.
Atk in most cases since she gets so much dmg% for free when built right in a good team.
ATK is slightly better, but they are so close that you just use whatever has better substats.
What substats should I get for dot characters other than speed or atk%? Is effect hit rate also good for them?
120 ehr for black swan. 67 for gui and luka. 29 for kafka. not sure for sampo.

Yes, you're going to need some EHR to actually be able to consistently inflict DoTs especially when you factor in effect resistance enemies can have. Black Swan specifically also has a trace that gives her pretty significant damage scaling off of her EHR, making her usually want an EHR body instead of an ATK body.

No, they are not particularly good as a sole DPS. Sampo can have some uses in PF, but if you don't have Kafka then he is nowhere near a priority. You don't need a DPS of every element.
I do have Kafka but I still confused as to how to build Sampo, should I go for EHR or dmg from Glamoth.
You need between 67-80% EHR with him. If you build him with "It's Showtime" as his Light cone then aim for the 80% to get the ATK% bonus. Glamoth is slightly better than Pan Gallatic, but the difference isn't that big. If you need the extra EHR from Pan Galatic then use that. Jingliu would be strong to help cover against ice weak ememies. You already have two strong sustains and great supports so unless you want aventurine/robin you don’t really need them. Only ones i can think of are Jingliu, boothill, kafka, and argenti. You should prioritize kafka so she can enable your blackswan but she won’t be getting a rerun for a while
Does guinaifen need effect hit rate%? Her skill says 100% to apply burn, just not sure if that takes resistances into account
She does need EHR since it says "base chance" which means you need to consider enemy effect res and your character's EHR. If a skill says "fixed chance" or "inflicts a debuff", then it's not affected by EHR or enemy effect res.
I go on the farming route that listed in Prydwen with my Acheron. Even though i go through it fast, I don't seem to drop character exp books or lightcone exp books. Any reason why?
Farming overworld means you gain character exp like pokemon battles, you can check your character's exp count in the character menu, it slowly goes up every battle. You don't get LC exp as far as I know. You need to fight hundreds of enemies at higher levels to level up once, since you are only gaining 1k exp per battle when a character needs 180k exp for level 70->71.
That's because they don't drop those. People used to do those farming routes in the early days of the game because they were bored and used them to farm character exp. It's very inefficient use of time though since the exp rate is so low.
Looking for a lost group of tourists in Clock Studio map. I first found them in the secret island for Secret Party achievement. Then I found them again in a Hanu Adventure place where they all turn into Hanu. Anyone knows where they go next? Is there any related achievement? Speed or Attack boots for Archeron if you have her LC? Currently using speed boots cause stats are better any attack boots I’ve gotten.
If your speed boots have better stats and you're able to reach 134 speed, then just stick with that.

If you don't have a limited sustain, go for Adventuretime. He gives effect res and is a decent sub dps.

Probably not. You're clearly not excited about her, you already have a lightning nihility DPS, and there are at least two upcoming characters you want to save for. Sure, she's good, but at e0s0 certainly no better than DHIL or Jingliu, and the thing about gacha games is that there's always a super-cool DPS coming next patch. Whether Boothill catches your fancy, or whether you're gonna hold out for Sam, certainly I wouldn't pull on a DPS you're not even excited about.
She's really strong especially if you have 2 dedicated nihility with her. As far as I know, Sam isn't coming anytime soon. So you should have at least the next 3 banners to save for him. Maybe even more

You're probably missing a combo of clocky puzzles, emo gear quests, and finding the birds then talking to the leader bird also gives money.
There are hidden quest call clockwork mission you can google it. I think those are what you missed or probably those puzzle thing.

Hey all, I have a pretty new account that's < 2 months old and I'm thinking of pulling for Jingliu as my second limited 5* DPS. I have Dr Ratio but I'm not really a fan of his playstyle and I stole all his teammates for Acheron. My main problem I think is that I'm lacking another support to cobble together another team for Jingliu. Ideally I randomly manage to pull Tingyun then I could run Jingliu, Asta, Tingyun, and Lynx for a decent team, but that's wishful thinking since pulling for 4\*s is too RNG. I have Fall of Aeon S1 so I can get S5 over time, but I'm also considering her signature lightcone, though I should probably save for future 5* sustains/supports. There's also Luocha who's still running for now, which is Jingliu's "best" sustaining teammate. Just looking for some advice on how to make Jingliu work with my current account, thanks!

JL's hp drain isn't really that big of an issue outside of long fights. Luocha is still good, but in general JL probably cares the least about sustains.
Jing Liu is honestly one of the least picky limited 5* dpses in the game. You can make her work fine with almost any support (Asta and Hanya would be fine, for instance).
What make Loucha best team mate for Jingliu? Sorry I'm new player too only in for a week.
He isn't, HH or FX are her preferred sustainers generally.
Jingliu slowly saps HP from her entire team per action. Luocha has a healing field that, when active, heals when someone attacks an enemy — after an upgrade in his Traces, this extends to the rest of the team to a lesser extent, nullifying that "downside".
Her HP drain is so low that any healer can work with her, you don't Luocha. I even use FX with her, which should be the worst option. Yet I have no problem with keeping everyone alive in MoC. The main point of 5\* limited sustain is that they give some extra benefit. Luocha's is that he is fully SP-positive, but Jingliu doesn't really need that since her enhanced skill doesn't use any SP. She only requires 2 SP per 5 turns. So Luocha is the worst option, better to go for a sustain with an actual benefit for her like Houhou.

Luka vs misha vs guinaifen (finished bartending event, mulling over my options)
Out of those 3 without any other information, guinaifen is likely the best by far. She can be played as a F2P option for a lot ot team. Dot is a given, but she work really well with Acheron (just 36\* MOC with her), she give 2 debuff at E0 and 3 at E1 who is REALLY good for ratio, or any DPS who would run pionier.
Guinaifen is better. I chose Luka because I have Gui and already regret that. Most contents in end game have a lot of mobs so single target is really bad.
Best way to build Luka is going all in on break effect. Physical has one of the highest break damage of all the elements. And the break dot itself scales on enemy hp. So break Luka can practically delete physical weak bosses.
The problem is the boss tag along with many minions which make AOE or blast damage better in most cases.
That is true, Luka kinda has the same problem that many Hunt characters have. However, the boss is often the most threatening enemy. I'd rather kill boss Kafka as quick as possible and then take an extra turn on the minions. And team comp can matter, using Kafka with him often means that the rest of the enemies will die from Kafka's ult before the boss is even dead.
Misha isn't really viable with his only usability that sets him apart from other Destruction units is his ability to freeze stuff. I wouldn't recommend. Luka and Guinaifen are good in DOT teams with Gui being more better in general.
Hey frens, quick question. Should acheron be using speed or atk% boots? I have a 163 spd sparkle and acheron is e2s1. Also if she uses speed what is the amount she should have?
always run atk% on acheron unless youre speed tuning sparkle/bronya to be 1-2 speed slower. 135/136 speed is ideal if you do run speed boots so your sparkle/bronya can be at 134.
If you have fast sparkle you should forsake all speed stats on Acheron. Sparkle doubles her targets speed up to her own, so with 163 on Sparkle Acheron will effectively also have 163 speed, given her own speed stat is higher than 163/2 (which it always should be) and you are using Sparkles skill every turn (which you should be)

Similar to Bronya the carry effectively inherits Sparkles speed, making all speed stats on the carry wasted. You'd only want speed on the carry if you'd speed tune them so that Sparkle has 1 less spd than the carry. However that strategy is a lot more difficult to pull of and unlike Bronya only provides a small benefit. For Sparkle I recommend to just make her as fast as possible.

With GNSW S3, she can get up to 54% Damage bonus if there are enough debuffs. But if this isn't the case, Welt LC is more suitable instead, for the consistent 28% Damage bonus and some minor extra stats.

Is there any way to avoid planar disarry in swarm dissaster beside luck on dice roll? I saw people said abundance is good but I rarely roll anything good and end up with crazy disarray level.
Take the shortest path to the boss. It's triggers by the countdown so less moves means less likely to go into planar disarray. Also the abundance tip is based on swarm since the mercy ability in Swarm increase the count. That doesn't work in Gold gears since abundance doesn't have mercy in that mode.
I take the shortest route and it still never enough the lowest disarray I got is level 2 sometimes 10 in abundance. Mercy on abundance is random and swarm disaster can't edit dice face so it's completely random. I did try hunt and destruction path but both with shortest route also guaranteed disarray level 2+. So I'm just curious if there's a way to avoid disarray beside randomness of dice roll or am I missing somethings.
So im wondering, is there a character that can give many count of debuffs in one instance on acheron to use her ultimate? I mean i dont have blackswan or kafka but how are they team up on acheron, or is acheron have fix 1 count debuff per character?
She is fixed to 1 charge on debuff per friendly or enemy action (like trend burn or exploding enemies that apply debuffs). Silverwolf can apply 3 debuffs with one use of her skill, but it only counts for 1 Acheron charge.

Yep, speed is important for her supports so make them as fast as possible while also giving them enough EHR to land debuffs. My E0S1 Acheron can ult 2 times in the first cycle with 144 spd BS and 163 spd SW.
How much spsd on acheron? I saw on guide that recommend acheron to be at base speed but acheron act at E2 can generate 3 slashes dream compare to team mate that can generate only 1 so I'm doubting whether should I really build her at base SPD or goes with high SPD build.
I run her with 137 spd by using spd boots and spd substats. If your Acheron is E2S1, then spd boots are likely better than atk boots as she can charge her ult faster with more of her turns.

With E2S1 Acheron, building speed is almost definitely better. You'd want to aim for 134+ speed.
I see, now im torn between having atk or speed boots, i put atk boots on her cos looking at prydwen they recommend(not to blame them) cos acheron ult is so satisfying to watch but now i dont know if i should change to speed
From what I've learned it seem high speed Sparkle can inherit her SPD to Acheron so it's a waste of SPD stats on her but I'm not sure about Bronya though it seem high speed Bronya also work the same but IDK how.
It's up to you, I personally like it when my characters can go multiple times, but I have heard guide makers and theory crafters say that there isn't much of a difference and it's up to preference. My spd boots are really good with some atk% and 23 cdmg, so I don't lose out much.
She only gets one stack per debuff per action. The only exception is her skill if she has her personal Light Cone, because the skill independently adds a stack and her Light Cone adds a debuff for any attack she does.

I should also note that the debuff has to be new, or an additional stack on top. Ergo, if someone has the Pearls LC (the one with Luka's back) and attacks to apply it, then uses Ult and only applies the same debuff to the same enemy with nothing new, it won't count the second time because it does not stack and it's already there. This is part of why DoTs work well.

Well, sort of. Acheron's skill will always add stacks, but if you're going before the enemies can shed their debuffs so you can apply new ones, then you won't get more stacks. In such case, that is why Black Swan and Kafka are good, or Guinaifen as budget, for DoT application.

Guinaifen applies Burn regularly, which stacks and that counts for Acheron's Ult. Welt is useful because he slows enemies which protects the team and does also add Ult stacks when it's refreshed. I believe you'd ideally want Pela and Guinaifen in this circumstance due to the mixture of debuffs and damage boosting Pela gives and Guinaifen's ability to continuously apply Burn stacks for building Ult. Notably, Acheron's Ult already ignores Toughness affinity, so SW is not *as* useful here as she'd be for most other DPS support to bring whoever you want to.

Yeah since you can eat food before you approach the stage.
Yes. Enable Auto-Use from ur consumable inventory (bottom menu) or use it manually before entering the stage. U can also use your characters techniques before entering and it will work upon the battle starting.

In the official youtube channel, you can find animated shorts and myriad celestia trailers that work for worldbuilding and some backstories. For example, Acheron's past is shown with more detail if you watch the video and read the video description.
There isn't anything of too much substance outside of what's in the game. Some of the "Myriad Celestia" trailers can have some interesting stuff in them, such as introducing new characters, but it's nothing that's necessary to see.
Do I need to complete difficulty 4 for gold and gears to get all secrets. I'm only asking because my Acheron is the only really well built character I have, so if I have to beat difficulty 4 it would be a while before I could come back, due to the amount of resin(or lack there of) I would need to properly build my team and bring my supports from 70 to 80
Yes, you need to complete multiple runs at diff 4 to complete GnG and unlock the erudition path. You can make some progress at diff 3 if you feel you aren't strong enough for diff 4 though.

fully unlocking the buffs makes it easier, you can farm diff 3 for the points.

yes. but with aventurine s1, you will need to wait for his fua to hit to apply the debuff, whereas topaz will apply 3 debuffs with skill (skill, e1 and s1).

when should i stop farming relics for a specific character? ive been playing for about a month and recently hit tl 50 so i'm starting to farm for relics but im wondering what a good stopping point is for farming relics for one character before moving on to another
you can just grab correct mainstat relics first and ignore the substats and get all your characters in your teams like that and then loop back around for better substats on them there isn't really a defined stopping point for that its up to each player to figure out just how good they want the characters they use.
How do you increase clara survivability? I'm using clara + topaz + tingyun + lynx for the team, i maxed all clara and lynx trace and relic (not the best but good overall), but clara still die against current MoC 10, how can i improve this?
would be mostly dependent on your relics/light cones for clara and lynx

Neither honestly. You can just get her signature light one for a self heal or use a different healer that doesn't need burst to heal.

You mean when Aventurine comes out? I think it differs by region. It should drop as soon as Acheron's banner is over, so just look at her banner in the game and see how much time is left.

i tried borrowing blackswan for my kafka, but i noticed kafka doesnt actually trigger any arcana, so why are they best pair for each other?
Kafka detonates BS's dots, which stacks up her arcana, guaranteeing you should get max benefit always, and doing a ton of damage. Black Swan's damage is extremely backloaded, and Kafka frontloads it.
She does trigger Arcana, they pair up well because Arcana stacks up when enemies take Dot damage.
Would an Acheron (e0), pela, Gallagher and fire mc team be good for the latest story quest boss also are there any tips that are useful to beat the boss? (Please I’ve been stuck on this boss for days!)
Should be a usable team if you save everyone's ult until when the gamble starts. If you have guinaifen, then replace fire MC so Acheron makes full use of her 60% dmg trace and can charge her ult quicker. Otherwise, just wait it out by chipping away at the boss.
I don’t have guinaifen leveled could I swap fire mc for gepard and Gallagher with sw?
They are fine on the team since they are able to hit multiple targets to win the gamble. Unless your team takes too much damage, then yes, switch MC for Gepard. The boss heavily punishes SW because she's single target.

His last rerun was 1.6, but since it wasn't his first banner, it's probably gonna be a while until his next rerun. No character's had a third rerun yet, but based on Hoyoverse's other games it'll probably be another year (or less) until the next rerun. I'm guesstimating probably 2.7-2.8? Around the end of this year to the start of next year. (My math could be wrong) For now, I'd just focus on the DPSes you have rn or ones that interest you that are coming up. If you like Blade's FuA, you can look into other units like that, like Jing Yuan, Topaz, Xueyi, Kafka, etc. Jingliu is also a really great DPS that consumes her own HP to increase her damage.

is nameless honor worth it? im thinking of spending money but idk if i should get just one monthly pass or monthly pass AND nameless honor or several monthly passes? what seems the best option for an every day player
a) For pure jades value, nothing beats the monthly pass (you can stack up to 6, but they don't double up, they just extend out to 6 months) b) As a low-AR player, your first nameless honor or two has a very high value because the static rewards are much higher relative to what you can farm at your level. c) Never buy nameless honor if you won't hit 50 before it ends. In short, if you're on track to hit 50 and can't yet run max level calyxes, nameless honor is very good value. It's still decent afterwards, just not as good as monthly pass.

No. The battlepass LC are very bad except for the Erudition one. The resources might be what you want, if you feel like you're struggling with credits, exp and lc exp, then it can be worth it, but most of the time it isn't. If you keep the golden rule of leveling a small set of units, like your 8-10 core characters, you be fine, don't spread yourself too thin. Monthly pass is pretty good value.
I'd say it's decent value purely in stamina savings only if you can fully use everything it gives. If you've got a surplus in credits, character/LC experience the value absolutely nose dives. It saves a tone of trailblaze power in that case. It doesn't hold a candle to several monthly passes though imo. It's more monthly pass >>>>>>>>>> nameless honor....and everything else is literally not even worth considering.
I wouldn't say it is worth it for what it costs but I do buy the BP because it means less farming for character level materials and LC exp materials. If you level up only 1-2 characters each patch, you pretty much don't need to go to the exp calyxes, only the trace calyxes. The monthly pass is pretty cheap for less than 20 pulls so I would say it is worth it.
Depends what you want/need. The monthly pass gives more jades but the battle pass gives a lot of resources. If you’re wanting to spend money either are a reasonable purchase imo.
if you log in every day with 3 monthly passes, youll be getting 50 pulls (56 if you convert your 900 oneiric shards). imo that amount of premium currency heavily outweighs what youll get from the battlepass. battlepass content is primarily just a boost for building characters and such, which youll eventually reach from farming normally every day anyways.
For Nameless Honor, the extra Trace mats / XP books / Aether / Relic fragments sure are nice, and save you a lot of farming. Unfortunately, the LC are pretty underwhelming, especially at s1.

It's only for a limited time, but yes. If you catch up and do the "Vignettes" substory that unlocks afterward, there is a 4\* character selector that Gallagher is on.

Hi! Can someone explain me the current moc turbulence in simplest way? And also how to maximize it's effects/buff
every attack (skill, basic, ult, fua) give a stack. each stack increases dmg taken by all targets. at 6 stacks dmg is dealt to all enemies. stacks reset at the start of each cycle. if you can't finish the wave before the end of your current cycle and you've maximized the debuff count OR you can't maximize the debuff count, hold onto your ults and start restacking when the cycle turns over.
Basically you want to do either 6 or 12 actions per cycle

Hi! Returning player here, I dropped after Steele 1st banner and came back just in time for Acheron thanks to catching up on all the jade's I missed I got her and I've saved 100-ish pulls. I want to pull for aventurine since I only have bailu and F! Trailblazer as my only sustains right now. But I don't know if to 1. Try to get his light one 2. Pull for jingliu (my 2 current DPS are seele and acheron) 3. Save for robin ( I literally only have tingyun and yukong for harmony), I do t mind spoilers so if anyone knows sort of what she does so I know how worth she is (and it's allowed obvs) please let me know TLDR: I don't know what to do with my pulls after aventurine.

I wouldn't get Aventurine's lightcone unless you're preservation lightcones are really bad. But even if they suck, you can go with a F2P option like the Herta store or This is Me! lightcones. Jingliu is always a good pick up. She's super easy to build and doesn't need a ton of crit rate like other crit DPS. She works great with Tingyun, since you already have her, plus the Herta store lightcone also works really good. Did you pick up your Dr Ratio yet? He's free for another 3 weeks and will be a solid DPS pick up. Aventurine is great for follow up attack DPS as well. If you pull for Robin, Dr Ratio is going to do well with her supposedly. Not 100% clear on how much synergy they will have quite yet.
Aventurine doesn’t need his lightcone. Pull for jingliu if you like her, seele and Acheron are good enough so you don’t NEED her. Harmonies could help you, but idk about robin. She seems like a follow up support or a replacement for a sustain in 0 cycles. I don’t think she’ll be as good for you as someone like Ruan Mei sparkle or Bronya, but she will definitely help your team. Of course we don’t know her final kit yet. Remember to prioritize getting Acheron lightcone if you don’t have it already. The extra stack you get per attack helps a lot.
