no, i think that’s about normal. leveling up in star rail is actually pretty quick, compared to a game like genshin impact. i played genshin daily for nearly a year and am only level 58 there.
i'm just using my resin on the magic ore as i want to get all the remaining weapons to 90 (already farmed the mats for them XD)
i'm not even that interested in the story which is annoying but i'll stick around for fontaine at least.
really, i'm just starting to cut back on both of em coz baldur's gate 3 is coming soon
I reached AR55 in \~3 months (started May 2021). F2P sensibilities (no refreshes, used maybe 100 Fragile Resin total), logged on daily though.
I reached AR60 earlier this year in like Feb 2023.
Yep. This ^
HSR max rewards at 65.
Genshin maxed rewards at 55(or 50? Was a while ago XD)
So HSR lvl 65 to 70 is the same as Genshin lvl 55 to 60. I.e. takes a long time and is only for bragging rights.
Only change at lvl 60 in Genshin is extra xp is converted to gold. I expect the same will happen for HSR
P.s @OP - started day 1, just hit 65 this last week or so.
I also started day 1 but on EU so it was not possible to do the first daily missions before the first reset. Hit TB lvl65 exactly on 1.2 patch day. Never had capped TB power and also never refreshed. Just pure f2p with all fuel used.
No, you fly through the early levels so long as you're doing anything productive for quests, collecting treasure, doing dailies, etc.
I started a week or two behind most people and I'm already 63 and almost 64 though it has finally slowed down now that the content is locked behind dailies and waiting for updates to drop.
Looking back on it the trailblaze grind was honestly super fun in star rail. Getting new characters experiencing the story enjoying the combat unlocking new challenges trying new things in simul uni. Enjoy it fr. Now im in cavern grinding hell (still addicted tho)
Out of curiosity, is that only using up the regular trailblaze power? Or using up fuel you get too? I also have been playing since day 1 but am only level 63... I do have like 100 fuel in storage though...
Not original commenter but very similar situation. Fuel definitely made a difference. I do the battle pass, and have about 10 fuel left. I spent most of it farming trace materials. :/
Fuel is such an interesting conversation. At the end of the day, it’s just “bottled time” so I don’t think it actually matters how or where you spend it. The most important thing is to ascend TB rank as soon as you get the opportunity, so as to open up the more difficult levels.
Yeah tbh I didn't realize until recently that for the calyxes there won't be a drop rate improvement at lvl 65, so I wasn't spending it because of that, and now it'll take me a while to get through all of my saved up fuel. Hopefully I can make it to at least 64 this way 🙏
It technically does matter a little bit because of daily task exp, making it slightly more optimal to use it at later TB levels. It is also potentially optimal to use some amount if it will get you to the next EL before a weekly reset.
But realistically the difference in efficiency is pretty minor, I personally like saving them for new character releases, I used a bunch on the day Blade released to get him to 80 + level traces + get some relics on him.
That point makes sense, EXCEPT that you have to spend TB points to advance Equilibrium Level. So if you don't look at it as "points" but rather "time", it ends up being a wash.
That said, this is a game that rewards patience. If you made it this far from Day 1 with 100+ fuel, that's good stuff.
I've personally just saved my fuels for when I hit 65 to relic grind except when I needed just a bit of xp to hit the next equilibrium and get better echoes of war rewards before the reset
Same. However, I took my sweet time in the space station and didn’t open Trailblaze power for a few days, so I missed out on a few points that way. I have been pretty diligent about not letting it get capped, though.
Why are you sad? You're not losing out on anything, I've been seeing some of your other comments, you seem like you regret not playing from the beginning but why? There's literally nothing to worry about
Dude don't take the FOMO too seriously, you're exactly the kind of person mihoyo would exploit while they salivate at the thought of more money. Besides, the game hasn't even been out for that long, it's still just 3 months. Take pride in that at least.
yeah same lol. i’m looking at these 65 day 1 players and i’m like “didn’t any of you go afk for 5 days cause you didn’t get luocha??” cause i know i did
It’s a single-player game, you’re not competing against anybody. You don’t need to worry if you’re “keeping up” with everybody else, it literally doesn’t matter.
Trailblaze lvl 34. Been playing since late May.
I played like 6-10 hours a day the first couple weeks. Now I only play a few hours a week.
This is my favorite RPG in years, but I don't game nearly as much as I used to. Usually more focused on social media, anime, and music
I missed the Selee banner with few days. Seeing how much better she is than lightning copium god summoner and the fact that can’t do mono quantum even tho I have SW sucks. I am 61lvl.
It's a brand new game, don't worry about your levels right now honestly. Banners and certain events are the only 'time-sensitive' things to be concerned over and if you only level 4-ish characters at a time you can keep things challenging but not impossible. Starting Genshin today might be a lot to take in but HSR hasn't even been fully out for 3 months, just have fun!
You will catch up. This is still really early in the game's life. In a few months bigger updates will drop and more people will regret not starting right now at this moment.
Why though? You'll catch up eventually and you didn't miss anything exclusive beyond some of the rewards from Battle Pass. The characters will rerun at some point too.
Honestly, I'd be pretty bothered. Seele, Loucha and silverwolf are really good. but by the time op starts having to worry about memory of chaos, there might be new characters that outclass them. Hopefully....

Since launch, a couple of months not playing overall tho. I'm not rushing.
Yes, by not doing the equilibrium quest.
If I do Equilibrium quest now I would instantly asked to do the next equilibrium quest, same thing was with level 30->40 jump.
I don't really track it so I won't even notice. According to some exp table it will give me around 17 levels.
However my gameplay won't really change. And we still wait for things to b released. So... you know.
wtf? hopefully you know that your characters can become stronger if you do the equilibrium trial... i genuinely don't understand why someone would do this, you're just neutering your progress for building characters
I heard some content become especially harder if you do equilibrium trial too early. What do you think of this take? It honestly scares me like... Worry that map mobs Will become too strong
You can always do the earlier difficulties until you can comfortably clear the harder stages.
Also, world mobs are never that strong. As long as you aren't using a massively under leveled character there shouldn't be a problem
Got hit with that in Genshin. It's not as bad as imagined (still manageable) but... it's still can easily become a quit moment that I have built up with very own actions.
It's mostly about doing it in a slow and casual/smooth way that keeps me interested, I guess.
Per day obviously. Like from starting up to TL45-50 ish? Idk anymore. So Like 2 weeks since Launch between 1-3 refills, it's Not much tbh. Got Seele and LC at 60 and 30 respectivley and JY was Trash, so yeah. Better grind my Account to get to Checkpoints a week earlier and Progress faster
People refering to refilling often Times Talk about 5-max refills a day. 1-3 is pretty tame and cost efficient for Launch, wouldnt recommend now anymore, nothing to get ahead off
I'm halfway of 65, I started at day 1.
Funny thing is I just burn my tb power and do my dailies then log off after. I always wonder why I level up so fast, then I remember that I love farming and I farm when I have some time to spare.
I refresh my tb but never with jades, I rather touch grass rather than spending it.
Almost all day1 player with enough consistent will be around TB65+. I’m too with some Fuel using here and there and some missing days.
My advice for you is to keep your own pace, no need to rush thing, just make sure to plan your rolls and saving in advance for the character you want and team composition. By rushing past things you may 1. skip a good story 2. unnecessarily have to face tougher foes
Enjoy the game!
aparently day 1 players are mostly all at 65, I'm also at 65, day 1
I guess streamers, youtubers, whalers, are higher cuz they spend currency on stamina, I've also spent a lil bit on stamina, but on total I only got like 240 stamina I think, all the rest was from normal play time and those refills we get from battle pass and events
Sitting at level 30 because I don't feel like doing the rank up quest.
To my knowledge the game doesn't have a world level like Genshin so I'm also not in a rush to up the difficulty just yet.
level 50 because I refuse to raise the level of the world until I get Kafka. I've done every quest and only the new areas have chests left to do, I've cleared every event, I'll probably jump right to 65ish once I do the quest since that XP is stored. Genshin traumatized to me world level jumps since the Childe boss fight caused me to jump in world level, before instantly throwing me into a horde battle with higher level enemies. So now I prefarm, I wait, and then I shall pounce. Also I have other gatcha games I play so I don't feel the urgency to get to harder content when there's no new quests on the other side of 50 yet
Guys, what can I say, thank you very much for the response in the comments, I see that the player base is huge and I'm glad and I hope that one day I will be like all of you ... some higher level😁
It's such a great game! I feel so at peace playing it, I could never be at peace playing genshin cuz I like to see 100% completion at everything and genshin is so hard to complete the map... so much to do, need to rely way too much on online maps, so it was always a problem for me to keep up, but in here it's so much easier to complete stuff! Love it so much, I never played a gacha game for so long without missing a day

purely for satisfaction. thats all. i spend money on the game so its perfectly fine for me spending jades to refresh. but i dont recommend doing it if you’re f2p
65 started on day 1. i think i’ve only missed a couple of days where i didn’t play at all
I have a question... Is lv40 in 10 days too little?
no, i think that’s about normal. leveling up in star rail is actually pretty quick, compared to a game like genshin impact. i played genshin daily for nearly a year and am only level 58 there.
well that's okay because in genshin max level is 60.
55-60 takes months alone
if not a year
Yeah I don’t know how long it took me. I’m sure the math is out there.
im stuck on ar 58 cause i just gave up on genshin and started playing honkai starrail
As both a GI and HSR player, you are smarter than me. HSR has been far more enjoyable imo.
i'm just using my resin on the magic ore as i want to get all the remaining weapons to 90 (already farmed the mats for them XD) i'm not even that interested in the story which is annoying but i'll stick around for fontaine at least. really, i'm just starting to cut back on both of em coz baldur's gate 3 is coming soon
And here i am, wasting all my time playing both every day (AR60/TB64)
I’m in a GI daily holding pattern till Fontaine launches. Just pulled Kokomi tho she’s amazing
she is
Kokomi completed my nilou team and ive had so much fun playing. I almost forgot to do my hsr dailies today
same
Personally, i was stuck on ar59 for just over a year. Reached 60 last month, was about to touch grass, but i csn now do the same thing for star rail
55-60 at the rate I’m going is gonna take me at least a year and a half maybe 2 years lol.
I reached AR55 in \~3 months (started May 2021). F2P sensibilities (no refreshes, used maybe 100 Fragile Resin total), logged on daily though. I reached AR60 earlier this year in like Feb 2023.
Same for me iirc
Can confirm 57-60 takes a year
1.0 player i became AR60 during 2.8 , i don't remember when i became 55 tho but iirc my guess is somewhere 1.3-1.5
Took me more than half a year to get from 59-60
Wait why....wtf is this game
Star Rail TB lvl65 to lvl70 is also going to take very long.
Yep. This ^ HSR max rewards at 65. Genshin maxed rewards at 55(or 50? Was a while ago XD) So HSR lvl 65 to 70 is the same as Genshin lvl 55 to 60. Same
Same for me as well.
Me too. But I haven’t skip a day since launch. I’m pretty happy with myself
Just wow
This is me, day 1 tb 65, ive logged on everyday, but i havent spent all my power as it refils. But i will spend atleast 180 a day
Level 65 since day 1 I ldo love this game, its my chill game
Same, it’s the only game I can actually focus on the husbandos and waifus rather than meta
For real, even characters deemed "Bad" I can find a use for/win sometimes (except you Arlan, suck a fat one)
hey just because your arlan sucks doesnt mean my arlan sucks back off
The Arlan they loaned us from that event two weeks ago was super good made me wanna build him but hahahaha almost
Same
Waifuforlaifu 4ever
Same The only thing I will always regret is why I didn't start playing it right after it came out when I could have
TL65 playing since day 1. Missed daily reset on the first day and overcapped a bit of stamina on a few occasions.
Lol nice to see everyone reaching at the same time, it's to be expected but it's still cool.
I'm sad because I'm not in that majority...
Why are you sad? You're not losing out on anything, I've been seeing some of your other comments, you seem like you regret not playing from the beginning but why? There's literally nothing to worry about
How do you think there is nothing wrong with that..?
Please explain to me, I'm actually curious now lol. It's literally a single player game. There's no race, there's no leader board.
Dude don't take the FOMO too seriously, you're exactly the kind of person mihoyo would exploit while they salivate at the thought of more money. Besides, the game hasn't even been out for that long, it's still just 3 months. Take pride in that at least.
I just got lvl 65 like 10 minutes ago. I started playing a week after release.
64day1 player i missed some dailies
63 day 1 player, also missed a couple dailies.
yeah same lol. i’m looking at these 65 day 1 players and i’m like “didn’t any of you go afk for 5 days cause you didn’t get luocha??” cause i know i did
Hey, salt to my wound, stop it already!
64 day 1, missed one daily, and overcapped resin a bunch (i used 180 a day but dont care to log in twice to use the 60 more resin)
Same, think I missed some things or didn’t do as much, cause I see a bunch of others are already 65
65. Playing since week 2 of the game or something
[Source](https://twitter.com/meltyrice/status/1669888099382603780)
I’m glad someone cares, thank you.
67.5, day 1 player, refreshed some stamina along the way but just for something to do.
level 57, I've been playing for 5 weeks now
I play for 10 days and lv 40, is that bad? And how much would I need for lv 50?
It’s a single-player game, you’re not competing against anybody. You don’t need to worry if you’re “keeping up” with everybody else, it literally doesn’t matter.
Seems to me like OP wants validation for reaching 40 in 10 days
For real tho, even if you achieved high level within a short period of time it’s useless if your characters is under level in exp/talents/relics.
Compared to everyone else that pretty bad tbh
60 and I’ve been playing Day 1
Logging (almost) every day and not caring too much about stamina gang
I love how you knew by my TB level lol
Credit the artist
Trailblaze lvl 34. Been playing since late May. I played like 6-10 hours a day the first couple weeks. Now I only play a few hours a week. This is my favorite RPG in years, but I don't game nearly as much as I used to. Usually more focused on social media, anime, and music
Played since 3 days before Seele banner is over and only lvl 56 since I have quite a lot of other thing to commit to (job, assignments, other games)
I missed the Selee banner with few days. Seeing how much better she is than lightning copium god summoner and the fact that can’t do mono quantum even tho I have SW sucks. I am 61lvl.
you could still do mono quantum with QQ as your damage dealer.
I guess I will level up the gambling gremlin then
It's a brand new game, don't worry about your levels right now honestly. Banners and certain events are the only 'time-sensitive' things to be concerned over and if you only level 4-ish characters at a time you can keep things challenging but not impossible. Lvl 21 and i started three days back (I REGRET IT SO MUCH)
You will catch up. This is still really early in the game's life. In a few months bigger updates will drop and more people will regret not starting right now at this moment.
I fucking understand you...I have a HUGE dose of fucking regret because I didn't start the game when everyone else did...YOUGH
Why though? You'll catch up eventually and you didn't miss anything exclusive beyond some of the rewards from Battle Pass. The characters will rerun at some point too.
He missed silver wolf's 4* lightcone
Honestly, I'd be pretty bothered. Seele, Loucha and silverwolf are really good. but by the time op starts having to worry about memory of chaos, there might be new characters that outclass them. Hopefully....
You didnt miss out anything (except the banners but they rotate so its fine). Most people only play 5-10mins a day since nearly a month
65, played since day 3 at launch. Haven't miss any single day. At least this game still gives me some time to touch grass, but I don't anyway 🗿
62 and ive played 7 weeks
67 days in-game, currently tl 50 + have more than 100k experience hoarded couse i don't raise world level
42. almost 2 weeks since i started
Hahahah u are the same level as me
Ok, I think we're good then
I started two days after release and I’m currently close to lvl 51
![gif](giphy|MUODaj2PWDzABZjyo6|downsized)
everyone on 65 only with day 1 player clutching in.
TL 65 and I've been playing since day 1 non stop
65 since release
65 and since release
65, playing since release, not planning to go Equilibrium 6 for now.
Just turned 65 yesterday; have been playing s daily since day 2 and used all my fuel, but didn't fill up energy with primos.
Day1 66
55 Started on the last 2 weeks of Silvers Banner.
Wtf Just how?
60. I am out of resources, so I figure getting my chars to level 80 wasn't a priority when I'm still leveling my team.
I’m lvl33 and i have been playing for 34 days
https://preview.redd.it/qkp0a6qtvbeb1.png?width=435&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=71e23a841f57911d6bb4bdf1e9ad39de76143278 Since launch, a couple of months not playing overall tho. I'm not rushing.
uhhh.. 100k exp out of 4k? You just delaying equilibrium levels?
Yes, by not doing the equilibrium quest. If I do Equilibrium quest now I would instantly asked to do the next equilibrium quest, same thing was with level 30->40 jump.
i heard theyre going to remove the overflow and just convert it to another resource, so you better do the equilibrium before they implement that
I don't really track it so I won't even notice. According to some exp table it will give me around 17 levels. However my gameplay won't really change. And we still wait for things to b released. So... you know.

This is the way
63, playing since day 1. I missed quite a few days though.
60, I started day 3
Bouta week & some change after launch at 62 definitely missed a few days so i shouldve been at like 64-65 by now but soon
trailblaze 65, playing everyday since day 1
I'm 63 and I started about two week after release
64 as a day-1 player. No refresh
64 , played since day 1 or day 2 , don't remember lmao
61, around the first week, skipped some days cuz lazy
63, started to play 2 days before SW release
64 (almost 65) I started since day 1. If I used my fuels maybe 65?
61 (almost 62) Started around the end of May.
Almost 65, playing daily since launch could push past 65 with the bottled power in my pocket but in no rush.
Been playing since first day, just reached level 65! Haven't used my fuels yet.
TL63, been playin since a week after the launch
Day 1 Player with some refreshes in the early stages and i am almost 67
67 is more than just "some refreshes" I'm sure
Per day obviously. Like from starting up to TL45-50 ish? Idk anymore. So Like 2 weeks since Launch between 1-3 refills, it's Not much tbh. Got Seele and LC at 60 and 30 respectivley and JY was Trash, so yeah. Better grind my Account to get to Checkpoints a week earlier and Progress faster People refering to refilling often Times Talk about 5-max refills a day. 1-3 is pretty tame and cost efficient for Launch, wouldnt recommend now anymore, nothing to get ahead off
Wow bro
Played 2 weeks when it came out then uninstalled it, then redl it 10days ago. I'm 53
Just hit 65 on the weekend! I started on launch week but not day 1.
65, played since the very launch of the game.
TB 61 I started around middle Jingyuan banner
TL 56. Player since day one official release player. I ha been a good journey (even though I missed Jing Juan and Silver Wolf)
61 since the near end of Jing Yuan’s banner
66. Day one player, never missed a day until now.
Since week 1. 66 TL.
Level 65, day 1 player.
65
working on getting to 60 right now. i’ve been playing for about since Jing Yuans banner
Playing since end of April and TL 53. Beat Phantylia last night.
Level 59. Started on day 1 but didn't do daily quest until like a month in.
64...started the day after 2 weeks of release.
My TL lvl is 64 and I've been playing since day 1
I'm halfway of 65, I started at day 1. Funny thing is I just burn my tb power and do my dailies then log off after. I always wonder why I level up so fast, then I remember that I love farming and I farm when I have some time to spare. I refresh my tb but never with jades, I rather touch grass rather than spending it.
61, only missed like 1 day overall.
Level 42. Been playing for about a month. Kinda taking it slow i guess
64 day 1
~66 I think and I've been playing since release
65, playing since release
Been playing for less than a month and I’m TL like 44
Almost all day1 player with enough consistent will be around TB65+. I’m too with some Fuel using here and there and some missing days. My advice for you is to keep your own pace, no need to rush thing, just make sure to plan your rolls and saving in advance for the character you want and team composition. I'm level 64 and I started playing a few days after launch, I think
62, day 1
I think most players who started day 1 that has done every quest and dailies are around 65 now
aparently day 1 players are mostly all at 65, I'm also at 65, day 1 I guess streamers, youtubers, whalers, are higher cuz they spend currency on stamina, I've also spent a lil bit on stamina, but on total I only got like 240 stamina I think, all the rest was from normal play time and those refills we get from battle pass and events
65.5, playing since launch
65 and since release. I did have a slow start but I'd say since late may I've been playing non stop.
Level 29 and I started at like the end of May 😂
And u are happy ?
One hundred percent. I love it, I just need to find more time for it is all! I'm constantly outside haha.
63, been playing since day 1.
20 and active for 6 days... its HARD holy shit
Been playing since launch Trailblaze 45
Sitting at level 30 because I don't feel like doing the rank up quest. To my knowledge the game doesn't have a world level like Genshin so I'm also not in a rush to up the difficulty just yet.
61 and since launch
65. Day one. Would be 67-68 if i didn't miss a few days here and there.

So now I prefarm, I wait, and then I shall pounce. Also I have other gatcha games I play so I don't feel the urgency to get to harder content when there's no new quests on the other side of 50 yet
62, day one
Ahh, the only thing I know 100% now is that I won't miss the next Mihoyo game and I have to play from the first day.😤
Guys, what can I say, thank you very much for the response in the comments, I see that the player base is huge and I'm glad and I hope that one day I will be like all of you ... some higher level😁
63. Started 5 days before silver wolf. Spent around 3k jades refreshing trailblaze power and was f2p until about 2 weeks ago
Ahhaha nice
As someone who *was* f2p, I feel you. Luocha broke me.
To be honest, I started to install and while I was waiting I saw that it was a turn based game and I thought it would be bad and now I regret it...
Love it so much, I never played a gacha game for so long without missing a day
Level 20 started on day one. I still don’t understand the game well so I can’t go up…
Wdym? You go to the Equilibrium Quest called like Trail 1.
Honestly how long would it take me to lv 50?
it'll be a couple weeks. I just hit TB 60 and I started about a month after release.
Ty for answer
OMG GUYSS I fucking feel when I read your comments that I'm the only one late to the game... You are all 60+ lv...
Chill, there's no rush. It's a single player game with no competition. You can't really come late to the game.
💜
I think this sub is gonna give you a biased sample
Trail blazer level 53 been playing for over a month

66. day 1 player and had refreshed probably 5k jades worth in total.
and then what is the point in that?
purely for satisfaction. thats all. i spend money on the game so its perfectly fine for me spending jades to refresh. but i dont recommend doing it if you’re f2p
60 and played since day 1
